Chapter 25: Banquet Fight

"Do I really need to wear such gaudy clothes?" I looked up at Yukino, she was wearing a beautiful aqua-green gown with feather like ruffles. I smiled, "You look fine. Don't worry".

"You looked gorgeous Yukino!" Mirajane said happily. Her hands clasped together.

I continued to put on my silver stockings. I looked own at my gown, it was sleek and it was smoother than anything than I had ever felt. The King was truly generous to buy us new clothes and let us choose out anything we wanted. I looked down at my newly acquired scar on my thigh. I sighed once more, I just keep on getting more and more scars. A girl's worst nightmare. I slipped on the dress, it was a little tight. I glanced at the mirror, it was hugging my curves a little too tightly. I gritted my teeth as I did the laces behind my back. Done. I put my hair up in a messy bun, I was much too tired to do anything fancy. My hair was much too long, it would take forever to make it look fancy.

"Lucy-san! We're leaving", I quickly put on my simple silver necklace. I took a pair high heels and quickly ran out of the door running out after them.

How sparkly, I shielded my eyes from the brilliant lights that shone from the ceiling. Magnificent, the King really went out his way to thank us. I quickly realised that I got separated from Yukino and Mirajane. Shrugging I walked towards the buffet, taking a plate I began gathering a stack of food. I had not eaten anything proper for two days because for the first day I had to eat soup and bread because my stomach could not take anything solid. The second day I spent helping my guild members put the city back together. But considering how many mages there were, the city was quickly mended in one day. I had summoned so much spirits I had wasted my energy and when I was finally able to sleep and rest I had forgotten to eat. I took a bite of the pizza, I sighed in content. This was delicious, I took a couple more and stacked it on my plate.

"Lucy-san!" I looked up, seeing Hisui wave at me. Quickly putting down the slice and wipe my mouth.

"Hi, Princess Hisui", setting my plate down on a table.

"I knew it! You're the Heartfilia group's…" I laughed nervously scratching the back of my head nervously. Telling her that it was a long time ago.

"I was friends with your father. Even though I've been under his care for some time. I've brought you nothing but trouble", she said quietly looking down at the floor nervously. Scraping her feet along the floor.

"My father was nice? Doesn't sound like him; don't worry about it anyways. I'm so used to trouble now, it might as well be my middle name now".

"That reminds me, where's the young man with the crimson hair?" Hisui asked looking around. I picked up my plate once more to take another bight out of my pizza. "Don't worry about him. Where's there's food he will be". She laughed and bid me a small good bye as she walked over to another guild member to talk to. A busy one wasn't she. I shrugged and continued eating.

A rather beautifully carved ice sculpture took my attention. It was a magnificent dragon with its wings fanned out and when the light pierced through it the light refracted creating rainbows. It was truly stunning but a true dragon would certainly be more devastating. Taking the knife that was by the side I chipped off a piece of the wing and placed it in my mouth. Tasted like strawberries, in the end I ended up eating the entire ice sculpture.

"Natsu-san! Let's have a drink!" I said cheerily with a bottle of champagne in one hand and two glasses in the other. "Let's do this Natsu-kun!" Lector cheered.

"Salamander ain't here", Gajeel said coldly. Mid-way biting into a chicken leg. My jaw dropped.

"What?! I was about to put a seal on him to close the gap between us!" I sighed, so much for my hard effort. It took me so long to learn that new spell.

"That's disgusting. Haven't you ever heard of talking?" I flashed my eyes towards the voice. Lucy was holding a plate of food with a popsicle in her mouth. She was dressed in a sleek golden dress with complimented her golden hair. With silver ruffles on the sides. The dress was hugging her curves and showing them off more than I would've expected. She took a bite out of her popsicle and placed the stick into a nearby bin.

"Sup blondie", I said grinning. She raised an eyebrow but nonetheless greeted me back.

"Oi, bunny girl. Have you seen that flame head?" Gajeel said to her. She merely shook her head and continued to take some bites out of tart which she had picked off the table.

"Aren't you eating a little too much?" I said, she was already holding a plate full of food which had not yet been touched and my guess it was probably her second.

"Yeah, I suppose so. But my magical power has really been drained these last couple of days. So I might as well try to fill it all up at once". She set down her plate to take a swig of wine. My eyes met her chest area for a moment when she bent down to pick up a fork which she dropped onto the floor. I mentally slapped myself when my eyes lingered there for too long. Distracting myself I went to Gajeel for a drink.

"I'll settle for Gajeel-san! Let's drink!" I said holding out the champagne bottle.

"Settle? I have this sudden urge to smack you". Lucy giggled at this, she was getting a little tipsy. She must have realised this as well when she muttered to herself that she needed to walk back to her room. Setting down her wine glass.

"To Fairy Tail and Sabretooth's friendship", I clinked the glass with him. Just as I was about to lift the glass up to my lips I caught my eyes on Yukino, I almost split the drink onto my coat. On the corner of my eye I saw Lucy walk towards her.

"A-apologies…I shouldn't have come here after all…" Yukino said, she turned heels and starting walking away.

"Wait!" I called out to her. She stopped but did not turn her face, "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were here. Master and our Lady have both vanished", Lucy tilted her head in confusion, "We're going to start over from scratch, and rebuild Sabretooth from ground up. You know…we've been quite…cold toward you. But we're going to become a guild that treasures and values our comrades from now one".

Lucy was grinning from the side giving a thumbs up.

"Why are you telling me all this?" Yukino was still wary of us. It was only to be expected, we never got along well and when we did talk in the guild it was only about aster's orders or me telling to her to get out of my way. In fact there was never really a civil conversation between us.

"We want you back…I guess that's kind of how it is if we go with the flow…" I said, looking downwards. Fuck, how hard embarrassing was this. How did Fairy Tail do this?

"Of course that's how you'd want the flow to go!" The surprise ran across the group.

"Kagura-sama?!"

"Yukino's life belongs to me! She's Mermaid Hells property now! I won't stand for any back talk on the matter!" She stated out proudly, I could smell the alcohol from her breath.

"WHAT?!" All of us cried out. Yukino was shocked as well as a little embarrassed.

I walked up to the mermaid, "You're drunk as hell!" I said angrily. She replied with an equally angry answer. "Shaddup! Yukino's Mermaid Heel's now!" Her words were slurred.

"Please wait a second!" I growled. What now?! I almost cried out loud as I saw Fairy Tail take their stand. Then Blue Pegasus, then Lamia Scale and then Quatro Ceberus! Fuck it they were all taking part of it! Holy shit, the masters were taking part in it as well!

"Bring it on".

"Now is the perfect time".

"Spin".

"This really brings me back…"

Fine then, bring it on you bunch of pansies, my hands were aglow. We'll fight to find out who's going win! I sent a flying punch at one of those whimsical morons of Blue Pegasus, I forget the name but it doesn't really matter now. Because everyone went up into dust so you really couldn't be sure who you were punching or kicking. I felt my knees burst into flames, looking down I saw Lucy pour some alcohol on my legs and set them aflame. Fuck! I caught her in a head-lock, squeezing with all my might.

"Gah! Oh no you don't!" She gave me a well-placed elbow in the ribs, loosening my grip on her for a moment but it was she really needed to send me buckling onto my knees. I clutched my family jewels. How could any sane person do that?! I looked up to see her grin triumphantly, her teeth glistening. Her face was a little flushed from the alcohol but she remained standing.

"Hahaha! You look so pathetic right now!" She said giggling, throwing back her head. I growled, kicking at her legs she fell face-flat. I roared with laughter, I felt another stinging pain on my hands which were still placed on my crotch. Did she just try to kick my family jewels again?! I was just about to retaliate when a loud thrumming echoed across the room.

"That's enough! His Majesty has arrived! For your bravery in the Grand Magic Tournament, and for saving this country from moral danger. His Majesty has come here in person, let that sink into your very hearts". The mages went silent, awaiting for his royal ass to come out and praise us. But the person which came out was not who we expected. Lucy's eyes widened in shock.

Natsu tossed the aside the curtains, grinning triumphantly. "What's up bitches?! Let's crank this up a notch!" He said while laughing, his toothy grin and his almost non-existent common sense seemed to affect everyone as they cried out in shock.

"I'm the king! I've become the king! Hell yeah!" He said thrusting his arms up into the air. His laughter reverberated through the halls, "Take the stick out of your asses, since we won, I'll be the king and you can all be my subordinates!" He fried out waving his arm enthusiastically.

"I swear to God that he is going to be the death of us", on the side I saw Lucy take off one of her shoes and chuck it right at his face. My jaw dropped, "Oi you fucking nut-head! Get down here or you're going to get a beating so bad that it will makes Erza's one looks like pats on the head!" She shook her hand angrily. Picking up a table next to her she was about to chuck it at him but Gray quickly started to restrain her. Yep, she was drunk. But seeing her throw a table at Natsu's face wouldn't be so bad.
