Anime PJ; Yup, he certainly is becoming less like one! Well, yeah they can. If you think about it, Vali can stay in Balance Breaker for a month, so sex for that long shouldn't be a problem hehe.
Mr Beaver Buttington; Well, those are the people who he wishes to have sexual relations with. This chapter, is actually a Le Fay and Makoto chapter, the beginning of their relationship building actually.
Robynhood13; Maybe, yeah I guess it could be.
NuclearCrow; That's pretty much what happens with me as well hehe. And yeah, it is monster stamina. And yup, he's finally showing emotions. For now, its just Vali, but it will be others soon. And yeah, I might throw that in somewhere hehe.
Dragon rider; Its yandere, and yes, Makoto is a little yandere for Vali. But that's because Vali is his most important person so he doesn't want to lose her to anyone.

One and half years ago
"Hello everyone! My name is Le Fay Pendragon! I hope we can get along from now on!"
"Hello, my name is Arthur Pendragon. Its nice to meet everyone."
Myself, and my Onii-sama greeted the new teammates of ours. The other day, we were contacted by a woman known as Vali Lucifer-sama. This woman made an offer to my Onii-sama saying "Wouldn't you also like to fight strong opponents?" Onii-sama, who likes to fight agreed with Vali-sama after some persuasion and after Vali-sama said that she has knowledge on the sword, Excalibur Ruler which was very interesting to Onii-sama. Originally, we were in a group known as the Hero Faction from the group known as the Khaos Brigade that is run by the Dragon God called Ophis-sama.
I have only met Ophis-sama once, and the time I did, she scared me a lot. I wont lie, she is a very scary little girl. Onii-sama however wasn't that affected by the entity. I was frightened out of my mind though.
The other members of the Vali-sama team (I don't know if it has an official name but that's what I am going to call it) are of different races and personalities and such. Vali-sama, is a beautiful girl who wears loose fitting clothes, but also kind of boyish. I presume that she is into the tomboy style of clothing, possibly due to them being easier to move around in some cases.
"Everyone, greet the new members."
Vali-sama gave the order to her team. A woman with a figure that I would kill for steps forward, and smiles like a devilish cat. I know this woman. Her name is Kuroka-san. She is a former Nekomata, to be more precise, a Nekoshou. She was reincarnated into a Devil as the Bishop.
"Ararara~ So a cute girl and a dangerously looking boy? Well, I can work with that nya~"
Then a man steps forward who is wearing chinese armour. He is a monkey Youkai by the name of Bikou-san. He is descended from the Sun Wukong-sama and is the current Monkey King, if that means anything. He is...well, I've heard that he can be annoying but he is apparently strong, if he is on Vali-sama's team.
"Kekeke~ So, two new members? A girl who looks docile and a strong looking male."
Did he say I look docile? I narrowed my eyes at that, but I didn't say anything. How dare he say I look docile!? I'm very smart thank you! Onii-sama looked at the monkey with a tilted head before sighing.
Then, a girl steps forward. She has pink hair that's tied to the side in a ponytail. She is wearing what appears to be gothic lolita clothing. She has a mischievous aura around her body. And she seems to be a trickster. I believe that this girl is called Lumina-san. But beyond that, I don't know anything about her that could be called useful information.
Although, I know that she isn't a full member of the team. Vali-sama told us that she is just a member sometimes. Meaning, she isn't a full member like myself or Onii-sama but someone who tags along with us. I guess she's a part-time member. Vali-sama said that she can't be trusted enough to be a full member.
"Nice to meet ya~ I'm Lumina. So, a boy who looks a little cute, and a girl who...well well well. I think I could have some fun with you, pretty girl~"
When she said that then, I felt a chill go through my body. I don't know why, but I can't seem to think of this girl as someone I could be calling a friend. She, is a little weird if I do say so myself.
Then everyone's eyes fell onto a boy. He seems to be around my age, maybe a year older but his body is smaller than average but he has an intense aura around him. He has blonde hair, and green eyes. He doesn't have an expression on his face, even if he is very handsome. He is looking at us with no real emotion at all.
"Ma-kun, say hello."
Vali-sama spoke to the silent boy. I know his name is Usagi Makoto-sama and that he is supposedly the second in command of this team. In terms of power...I'm not sure where everyone ranks, besides Vali-sama being the top. Maybe this boy is the second highest in power, as he is second in command after all.
"Hello."
Hehe, that didn't sound the exact welcome that I would've liked. But, it will do. It isn't like we have to be friends or anything. I'm not sure that I would want to be friends with someone who just looks at me like that. Yeah, its best not to become friends with him, as he might be a secret nutter or something. I can't tell what's going on in his mind. Best stay away from him.
"Well, that's that then. Okay everyone. Today, we'll be going on a trip."
"Another trip nya?"
Kuroka-san asked Vali-sama who responded with a sharp nod.
"Yes, another trip. I've found out about an opponent that inhabits a place known as Niflheim. Ma-kun."
Vali-sama gestured to Makoto-sama who nodded and stood up. He made a hologram with magic that is in the centre of the room. It is a icy plain. Lots of large pillars of ice are all around this place. The ground is frozen, and there appears to be lots of mist around. I wouldn't want to get lost in that mist.
"This place is referred to as Niflheim. It also has the names, Mist Home, Abode of Mist and Mist World. It is a realm of ice and cold, with nine frozen rivers. There is a legendary being here that have interested my Master, Vali-sama. The one known as a Jotunn, also known as Giant has been making noise as of late as it was turned into a giant wolf. This creature has no name, but is apart of the Jotunn group of giants from Norse Mythology. The mist, is said to mess with the senses, meaning Senjutsu will be acquired in order for us to traverse this place. Even then, Senjutsu will only allow us to approximately locate this creatures location. However, my Master wishes to engage this enemy, so we will be going to face this enemy and sacrificing Bikou-san."
I blinked at that last part. Are we really sacrificing Bikou-san? Bikou-san cried at that as Vali-sama went over to Makoto-sama and bonked him on the head.
"Ow, Vali-sama."
"We aren't sacrificing Bikou."
"But if he was to accidentally die by unknown means...I can make it look like an accident Vali-sama..."
Ooh geez, he really wants to kill Bikou-san! I wonder, if Vali-sama said so, would he really kill Bikou-san? He's a murderer! I don't want to be near a murderer if I'm honest. He kind of scares me. He's a freak!
"Vali! Tell him to stop picking on me! He's going to fucking murder me if you give the slightest nod!"
Bikou-sans anger came through with his tears. Vali-sama turned to him and sighed.
"It is your own fault for pissing him off. If you didn't annoy him all of the time, then he wouldn't threaten you as much, would you Ma-kun?"
This Makoto-sama shakes his head and hugs Vali-sama.
"Master, can I use my body to please you after this battle?"
Did he really just offer sex to Vali-sama!? This guys nutty! He's a complete freak! Who offers sex so casually!? He's really mental!
"Hmph, I will tell you when I want you, so be patient. And don't call me Master."
"Muu, okay. So, are we going now Vali-sama?"
"We are. Everyone gather around Lumina after putting on some warm clothes. Lumina, you have the destination already, correct?" She nodded at Vali-sama who clicked her fingers. "Then everyone hurry."
We all nodded without fuss. I went to get on a large coat by clicking my fingers. I used magic to make it appear. I even wrapped a scarf around my neck. I've heard that this place is very cold so, I don't want to catch hypothermia or something. Most of the others, have done the same, besides Vali-sama, who has activated her Balance Breaker, making the armour appear. Makoto-sama on the other hand, hasn't bothered putting on anything more than a large coat. Everyone else has bundled up but he hasn't. Strange.
I went with Onii-sama and took Onii-sama's hand. Onii-sama placed a hand on Vali-sama who has his hand on Lumina-san. Lumina-san has her hand on Bikou-san. Kuroka-san is holding hands with Makoto-sama who has his hand on Vali-sama's arm.
"Ready!?"
"Yes, lets go Lumina."
"Aye aye sir, madam...ehehe, whatever~!"
Suu.
A bubble formed around us. I felt a little strange for a second then the bubble disappeared.
When I next realized it, my body turned cold! Burr, its freezing! We appear to be in a cave right now. A cave of ice. The ice has spread out in the cave, and has frozen it. Several large pillars of ice, with Norse symbols have appeared on them. Plus, there's also some symbols are on the walls. But this place is covered in mist.
A mist that feels strange. Like Makoto-sama said before, I can't sense that good in here. This place is dangerous indeed. But I know that Onii-sama is here, so I don't have to worry about anything.
"The atmosphere of this mountain cave where it isn't weird if anyone assaults us from any place isn't bad. There's a unique trait in this mist…so it means that we're already inside someone's territory. The unexplored region of this country isn't bad since it's entertaining me simply with the atmosphere of this mountain cave and mist."
A unique trait to this mist huh. W-Wait, does that mean the enemy knows we are here already!?
"Arara, Vali. I sense that there's a large power ahead of us in that direction."
Kuroka-san, with her ears twitching pointed to that direction. Bikou-san also pointed in that direction.
"Keke, I can sense the same as the cat."
"The unique atmosphere in this place certainly is bewitching..."
Lumina-san commented while looking around. Onii-sama has his sword out, the holy sword Caliburn.
"Vali, this area seems to be filling with some sort of power. Will it hinder our battle with this Giant?"
Onii-sama asked while looking at Vali-sama. Vali-sama turned to Onii-sama and gave a slight shake of her head.
"No. It shouldn't hinder our battle. This power is merely a sensing power. Ma-kun, that is what you believe as well, right?"
"It is Vali-sama. I believe that this power is to just scan our levels of power, if I am reading the flow of this power correctly. Even then, I believe that we should move towards our target and perhaps murder Bikou-san while we are here."
Geez! Even saying that now is bad Makoto-sama! Bikou-san cried while shivering as Vali-sama rolled her eyes at Makoto-sama.
"Besides that last comment, I believe that you're right. There's no telling what comes after this, so be on guard."
[Right!]
We all replied to Vali-sama. We all then started walking forward in this ice cave. It goes in a line. First is Vali-sama, followed by Onii-sama then Bikou-san. Then it is Lumina-san, Kuroka-san, myself and Makoto-sama directly behind me. This is our formation for now.
With Vali-sama in front, she can handle the attacks, and if anything sneaks up on us, then Makoto-sama can deal with it. The rest of us, react to whatever enemy appears, besides Kuroka-san and Bikou-san that is.
Bikou-san is responsible for sensing ahead, and Kuroka-san is responsible for sensing behind us. My job is to provide support for Makoto-sama should anything come, like Onii-sama's job is to support Vali-sama should something come. Finally, Lumina-san is in the middle, so she can teleport us all out by linking hands quickly. A well thought out strategy if I do say so myself.
We walked, while keeping our guard up. If something was to happened then...
Shine!
Suddenly, a glow fills the cavern we are in! Numerous magic circles appear on the walls, all look dangerous. They are all around us. I don't recognize the type of magic, which means that it is something unique if I don't even know the magical symbols as I'm a magician and I make magic my personal knowledge. Vali-sama looks at the magic circles, and sighs.
"This is a trap set by the one we are after. Lumina, teleport us ahead of this trap."
"Aye!"
We all grabbed hands, and waited for Lumina-san to teleport us...but...a bubble...didn't appear...
"Is something wrong Lumina? I gave you an order."
"Ugh...Vali-chan, my teleportation bubbles aren't working..."
"Then, we'll have to disarm this trap ourselves."
Vali-sama went forward, but a large barrier stopped her movements. She tried to touch it, but the barrier knocked her hand away. Sighing, Vali-sama summons to large blocks of demonic power.
That demonic power is of the highest grade. She stood back, and fired off the demonic power at the barrier. The blocks made contact with the barrier, but the barrier didn't budge an inch! Kuu, that's really strong!
"Hmmmm, this is troublesome."
As soon as she said that, sharp blades made of the strongest quality come from the circles! The magic blades, all come at us with a strong willingness to kill us! These blades at sharp, and I know that if I am hit, I will get skewered.
"Hyaa!"
I summoned some magic and batted away some of the blades coming for me. I placed defensive circles around my body at the same time as firing off magical blasts, in order to protect myself.
"Hmph."
I looked ahead and saw that Vali-sama is batting away the blades with her hands and firing continuous blocks of demonic power at the barrier but it did little more than shake this cavern. Since she is in her armour, she doesn't have to worry about being skewered. But if she keeps firing attacks off like that, we might have a cave in or something.
"Nyaaa~"
"Ooh, teleport!"
Kuroka-san was dodging the blades with minimal effort. Possibly due to her Senjutsu, she can tell when the blades near her and dodge them without having to worry. Lumina-san on the other hand is using small bubbles, and throwing them at the blades, teleporting them. But they reappear at other places and knocked other blades away before they hit her.
"Damn these things!"
"Hmph, these aren't that bad."
Bikou-san got out his staff, and twirled it around, knocking away the blades. Bikou-san must be using a similar technique as Kuroka-san, using Senjutsu to knock away the blades. Onii-sama is also swinging his legendary blade around, batting away the blades with apparent ease.
"Hmmmmm."
Behind me, I looked quickly to see Makoto-sama knocking away the blades with ease. His speed is really fast. He is dodging the blades, and knocking away the ones that near him with his hand. I'm shocked he can do that. He must have a dense magical aura around his body.
BREAK!
Aaah! A barrier of mine broke! I pointed my hands at the blade, and fired off magical power at it. But the blade changed direction and my attack missed! Iyaaaa! I'm going to get skewered!
"Le Fay!"
Onii-sama turned to me, and was about to release a large volume of holy power. But then someone stopped the blade with their hand. The person who stopped it, was someone I didn't expect.
"Are you, alright?"
The boy who was silent asked me. I nodded with a wide eyed expression. That blade, was so close to my eye. If it had advanced any further, then I would've died. At least I would've been blinded but death is more probable.
"Y-Yes...thank you Makoto-sama."
He patted my head while using his other hand to continue knocking the blades out of our path, which made my face turn red...am I actually blushing at him!? W-Why!? He only saved me...yeah, he saved my life...
"Don't worry, I will protect you."
Saying that, he went really fast, like a typhoon around me, knocking away the blades. I don't even have to summon any magic, as the blades aren't getting through at all. He's protecting me right now. I'm...shocked yet happy at the same time.
"Vali-sama, we are at a disadvantage in this confined space. We need to get out of here."
Makoto-sama said while continuing his protection of me.
"Right you are Ma-kun. Kuroka, what's the weakest point in this barrier?"
"I can't concentrate as I'm about to be killed nyaaaa!"
"Geez, Ma-kun, protect Kuroka as well."
"Understood."
Within a flash, Kuroka-san was next to me as the blur known as Makoto-sama kept going around us.
"Go Mako-tan nyaaa~"
"Kuroka, sense for the weak point. He isn't protecting you for you to have a leisure around."
Kuroka-san stuck out her tongue at Vali-sama but closed her eyes, and her ears twitched. I feel bad now, that I'm not doing anything to contribute to this. I'm being protected by a boy that I thought was a complete weirdo. I feel bad about thinking that now. He doesn't have to protect me, yet he is.
He doesn't know me, and I don't know why he even bothered to protect me. Am I just in the way? I want to do something to help, but I don't know what I can do to help. Everyone else is knocking away the blades, even Kuroka-san is doing something.
Kuroka-san shot open her eyes, and pointed towards the left hand corner.
"Vali! Shoot your power there! It will destabilize this barrier nya!"
"Right. Arthur, lend me your power as well."
Onii-sama nodded at Vali-sama's daring smirk.
"I understand Vali."
Onii-sama, gathers a huge amount of aura in his blade, and swung his sword downwards, releasing a large amount of holy power! At the same time, Vali-sama gathered a large block of demonic power, a very large block indeed. She pointed her hands at the place Kuroka-san said to fire, and that's what she did.
The holy and demonic power go side by side, almost blending into one glorious colourful attack. They travel to the corner of this barrier, crashing against it with a large destructive power!
DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
The area shook heavily, but the barrier was dropped! Not missing this chance, everyone ran forward, Makoto-sama taking myself and Kuroka-san in a burst of speed with Lumina-san catching us as we went past.
We all went forward at speeds I wouldn't be capable of on my own.
A few minutes later, we stopped running, as we came to an impasse. There are two corridors. Vali-sama turned to the two Senjutsu users who point in different directions.
""This way!""
They then looked at one another.
"Bikou you idiot nyaaaa! It is obviously this way!"
"No! Once again, you're wrong baka cat! The right way is obviously left! Your senses must be crap, just like your breasts!"
"Don't you mock my breasts! They are wonderful, and amazing nya! Even my future kittens will agree with me!"
They butted heads, sparks going off between them. Vali-sama sighed, as Makoto-sama and Lumina-san face palmed. Onii-sama and I have tilted heads at this display. They are fighting about which way is right.
"Shut up!" They cried and stopped fighting. Vali-sama looked at both pathways then looked at Makoto-sama. "Ma-kun, you take the right with Kuroka, Lumina and Le Fay. I'll go left with Bikou and Arthur."
"Vali-sama, I believe that I should go with Bikou-san."
Vali-sama bent her neck in a wondering way.
"Whys that?"
"So I can murder him and dump his body here without your knowledge."
Ehehe, he's not a very good liar. He's basically just told Vali-sama what he is going to do, and said without your knowledge! Bikou-san cried heavy tears as Vali-sama rolled her eyes at the strange boy.
"I know you're going to murder him."
"How did Vali-sama figure it out?"
Is he for real!? I let a giggle escape my lips. He makes me laugh. I found him weird before, but he surely does make me laugh now.
"Because you just told me."
Vali-sama deadpanned. Makoto-sama nodded.
"I understand. I am not good at deception. I say what is on my mind. But Master, I wish to kill Bikou-san here. Is that okay?"
"No, it isn't okay. I know he annoys you, and I know that you can't tolerate him. But, I've said before that he has some uses. Will you do as I ask? I'll keep Bikou in line. And I've told you that you can't call me Master."
Makoto-sama bows to Vali-sama very respectfully.
"I understand Vali-sama. Then, I will take the ones known as Kuroka-san, Le Fay-san and Lumina-san towards the path that's located towards the right."
"Alright. If you come across the beast, then make Kuroka and Le Fay transport yours and my location, or even Lumina to teleport it to our location. If we find it, I'll have word sent to you."
"I will Vali-sama."
Vali-sama nodded at Makoto-sama who nodded back. Onii-sama comes over, and looks at Makoto-sama who looks up at him.
"Protect my sister for me, please."
"I will protect Le Fay-san. Do not express worry. She wont be harmed."
For some reason, that made me blush up a storm. Why am I blushing? Its so strange.
"I thank you."
"It...isn't a problem."
Makoto-sama scratched his cheek when he said that. Onii-sama looks thankful towards Makoto-sama. Onii-sama placed a hand on my shoulder and looked deeply into my eyes.
"Be careful Le Fay."
"I will Onii-sama! Don't worry!"
With that, we all spilt up. Lumina-san, Makoto-sama, myself and Kuroka-san went right, as the team lead by Vali-sama went left. I guess that I am on the Makoto-sama team right now. He must be the leader right now, right?
We walked down a ice cave, with ice crystals forming on the walls. It isn't magic or anything, so I don't have to be wary, but I am on guard. Kuroka-sans ears are twitching wildly.
"Kuroka-san, how far is this target?"
Makoto-sama asked her. She looked upwards.
"I would say that it is a floor above us. But, I can't tell exactly where it is nya. Say, think Vali's team is fine nya?"
"Vali-sama will be fine, the same as Arthur-san. Bikou-san however...well, I hope he dies painfully."
How very...strange indeed.
As we were walking, I went next to Kuroka-san as Makoto-sama was conversing with Lumina-san about our situation, and asked her a question in a hushed tone so Makoto-sama can't hear.
"Kuroka-san, why does Makoto-sama hate Bikou-san exactly?"
"Arara, well it is a number of things. The way he doesn't show respect to Vali, the way he repeatedly causes trouble for Vali during our missions and how he makes fun of Mako-tan not being feeling. I'm sure you've noticed it, but he pretty much is a blank page most of the time."
"Y-Yes, I've seen that."
"Well, Mako-tan has just pretty much no emotions. I heard that he was even like that when he came to Vali a few years ago nyaa. Even though he's like that, he's practically a walking powerhouse, but is so gentle as well nya. And pretty much naive. Even when we first met, he offered to repopulate my race with his dna if I joined Vali's team nya~"
H-He actually offered such a thing!? But again, why am I surprised?
"I-I shouldn't of expected anything different."
"No you shouldn't nya. But Le Fay nya, I would watch out what you think."
"W-Whys that?"
I tilted my head. She giggled softly.
"Has no one told you about Mako-tans Sacred Gear?"
"His Sacred Gear?"
"Yep nyaa~ His Sacred Gear allows him to read the mind of anyone that he is looking at."
...What? He can...he can read the mind of anyone he was looking at...? Ooh no...I feel horrible now. I've thought some bad things about him...like calling him a freak or weirdo...yet he protected me before...even knowing that I thought such bad things about him...I'm so terrible...
"D-Does he do it all of the time?"
"Pretty much nya~ He doesn't care for personal boundaries and such. If he's looking at you, then no doubt that he is reading your mind."
"C-Can you tell when he is doing it?"
"Well, there is a slight glow in his eyes, and it is pretty hard to see it under normal circumstances. You'd have to stare into his eyes to see the glow, and even then, if you didn't know about it, you'd just think its a trick of the light or something nya."
That pretty much confirms it. He's been reading my mind this whole time, hasn't he? When he was looking at me in the house before...I thought some bad things. I need to go and apologize to him.
I walked forward towards him and got his attention by pulling on his arm. He looked at me with a blank expression. He's going to hate me, isn't he? He hates me for thinking bad things about him...
"Makoto-sama..."
"Watch out nya!"
CRASH!
As soon as Kuroka-san said that, something came out of the wall! Makoto-sama grabbed me and we jumped forward, as Kuroka-san and Lumina-san jumped back! We skidded across the ground, but eventually we stopped.
Again, he protected me from an attack. Why, does he keep saving me when I've been thinking bad things about him? I looked at the thing that came crashing through the wall.
"KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
The thing that came out of the wall, looks like a giant crab! But, its made out of ice? It looks huge! It made a disgusting noise, and puts its pincers together in a daring way. I stood up with Makoto-sama and activated a magical aura around my body. Makoto-sama has a dense aura around his body.
"Kuroka-san! Damage it internally with Senjutsu! Lumina-san! Teleport whatever attacks come at us with your bubbles! Le Fay! Back me up with magic! Clear!?"
[YES!]
We got our orders from Makoto-sama! Is it me, or did he really look like a leader then? I couldn't help but notice the whole change of attitude. The way he commanded us within a second of that monster appearing.
"Then, let me be the one to start nya~"
First Kuroka-san summoned a wheel of white flame around her, and pointed her hands at the giant crab! The crab also noticed her starting the first attack, and hit an ice pillar that's nearby, making the ice go towards Kuroka-san!
"Boo!"
Lumina-san threw a sphere at the incoming pillar, and teleported it away! She looked at the ice crab, and her hands made a shine like her bubbles.
BANG!
The ice pillar hit the ice crab, as Lumina-san jumped up and down excitedly.
"Oops, I teleported it again~ I hit that bitch, but it came too quick~ Ooh baby baby, you might think I am bad, but you're kind sad~ I'm not really innocent~"
Don't quit your day job Lumina-san. You're never going to win X-factor dear but I applaud you for hitting that monster.
"How about this nyaaa!"
The wheel went forward towards the monster crab, but it made a disgusting noise and jumped out of the way! Kuu, so its fast as well as big! Kuroka-san made an annoyed expression.
"Damn nyaa!"
"Its okay! I've got it!"
Lumina-san fired off a bubble at the attack of Kuroka-sans that passed by the giant crab. It hit the wheel, and teleported away the attack of Kuroka-sans! So, if she teleported it away, I can safely assume that it is going to hit the giant crab!
Dogggggggggggggggggggggggggggon!
"KETEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKEKE!"
The attack hit the monster crab! The monster crab when sideways, reeling from the attack. Makoto-sama went forward at the same time, going for a heavy hit on the ice giant crab.
However, the ice crab regains its composure, and turns to Makoto-sama. He swung his giant claw at Makoto-sama who jumped high, and avoided its attack. The crab opened its mouth wide even after Makoto-sama dodged the attack, and released large sheets of ice!
"Tch!"
Makoto-sama went higher, and then bounced off the roof of ice, going downwards, missing the giant crabs ice. I saw this chance to land an attack on the crab so I summoned a strong magical power in my hand, and aimed those hands at the giant crab!
"Take this!"
I released my attack at the crab, hitting it right in the stomach! The giant crabs legs buckled a little, but it didn't fall over. But smoke came out of the attack that crabs stomach. Smoke, and what appears to be black blood. Hehe, on the white ice, the black blood looks strange.
"KETEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKEKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
The crab sent out a wail from its mouth, and opened its claws wide. It sent slashing towards Makoto-sama, who dodged the attacks with apparent ease. But the crab then opened its mouth again, sending a large blast of ice towards Makoto-sama!
"Nahaha!"
Lumina-san summoned a bubble in her hands, and launched it at the monster crabs leg. One of its legs hits the bubble, teleporting it away! The monster leg out a howl, as its leg was teleported off.
"Nyaa~ I'll seal your movements then."
Using some kind of jutsu, Kuroka-san changed the footing of the giant crab to mud! The crab went down, as the leg that Lumina-san teleported away appeared next to Makoto-sama. Makoto-sama, picked up the leg, which has sharp feet. Maybe even as sharp as a blade.
"Might as well take care of this."
Makoto-sama jumped high with the leg, and aimed downwards at the crab.
STAB!
Makoto-sama threw the leg that's as sharp as a blade at the crab, piercing its head, all the way to the floor! The crab has been pinned by those three! Okay! With its movements sealed, I looked to Makoto-sama who jumped back next to me.
"Attack!"
With that simple command, I gathered my strongest attack. The same for Makoto-sama, and the other two. With us at the front, and them at the back, we launched our strongest attacks at the giant crab!
DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
The attacks all landed on the giant crab, creating shockwave's! The whole cavern shook, as I see a giant claw go upwards, towards the roof!
CRASH!
The craw hit the roof, making the roof collapse!
"Time to go."
Saying that to me, Makoto-sama grabbed me and we went forward away from the others. We couldn't go back, as there was too many obstacles in the way. The roof collapsed, as we got away.
When the roof stopped falling...in the way, was rubble, of ice. We...can't get through that. Makoto-sama stood up, and launched an attack against the ice, making it shake a little, but didn't do anything.
"Mako-tan! Le Fay-chan nya! Are you both alright!?"
I heard a call from the other side. Phew, it was Kuroka-san.
"Yeah, we are fine. Kuroka-san, Lumina-san. What is the condition of the monster?"
"Its dead Mako-chan! But, before it died, it put up some kind of barrier, and now we can't get through nya."
Kuroka-san replied to Makoto-sama who let out a breath.
"Lumina-san, can you teleport over here?"
"I tried Nii-chan, but I can't get through. I think this is an anti barrier. And it isn't just magic or Senjutsu. I believe that it is an anti barrier of all powers."
That's bad. What do we do? I looked to Makoto-sama who has a calm expression on his face.
"Kuroka-san, Lumina-san. Double back and go the way Vali-sama went. Le Fay-san and I will continue on this path, seeing where it leads us. I believe that this path and the one Vali-sama is on must lead to a similar place."
""Understood!""
They agreed with him. Okay, so I'm going to be alone with him. It will give me chance to apologize to him.
"Then get going, and watch each others backs."
"Okay Mako-tan nya~"
"See ya later Nii-chan~"
Makoto-sama then turned to me and looked ahead of us.
"We should go."
"R-Right."
So Makoto-sama and I went forward, as the other two went back towards Vali-sama. Strangely, I don't feel in danger. When near him now, I feel safe. He has protected me a number of times today.
We walked for about five minutes. I tried to make conversation, but I couldn't get anything out of him. I think he hates me because I thought very rude things about him and such.
I kept my head down, and just focused on the task. Maybe I can ask Vali-sama if she will apologize for me on my behalf later, since he doesn't want to know me right now. Although, Makoto-sama is looking ahead, like I'm not here.
I do feel really bad about thinking bad things. I didn't mean to think them, but that's what I thought on the spot. I felt a little bad about thinking them before even knowing he could read minds. But him knowing what I thought, is pretty bad.
"Stairs."
"Huh?"
He suddenly spoke. I became confused, so I looked at him, to see him pointing at some stairs. Oo! Okay! I see! Then, we can go up and see what's next!
"Lets go up. I'm pretty sure that the monster should be up there."
"I-I see. Then we should go."
So Makoto-sama and I went up the ice staircase. The ice staircase looks huge. Its like walking up a hill, and I can't see the end of it, but I know that Makoto-sama will protect me, because he promised Onii-sama.
He seems incapable of lying, so if he said that he wouldn't protect me, then I would be a little scared right now. But he promised Onii-sama that he'd protect me so...
"Are you frightened?"
He asked me plainly. I looked at him and nodded.
"A-A little. I'm not like Onii-sama. I don't really like these kinds of situations. But I am here because Onii-sama is here."
"I see. Do not worry Le Fay-san, I wont let anything hurt you. Vali-sama loves fighting and I love helping Vali-sama. If Vali-sama considers you worthy of being on the team, then I will consider you a teammate as well."
"I-I see...Makoto-sama, you can read minds, can't you?"
He nods at me.
"I can. You are worried that I hate you because you believe that you thought some horrible things about me before like calling me a freak and you wouldn't want to become friends with someone like me."
I looked down with teary eyes. Of course he knew I thought that, and I regret thinking something like that when he has done nothing but protect me since coming here.
"S-So you knew this whole time, but didn't say anything, why?"
"Because it doesn't matter to me what you think about me. If you want to stay away from me, then that's your choice. I can't change your thought pattern, well I could but I'm not going to. I'm not going to give a speech about why you shouldn't hate me, or why you shouldn't stay away from me. I will say though, that I don't hate you."
"Y-You don't? Even though I thought those awful things about you?"
I'm surprised by this. He actually doesn't hate me? He can't be for real, right?
"People think awful things about me all the time. Its nothing new really. Back at the Grigori, lots of Grigori agents think I'm a freak and just an emotionless monster. But, it doesn't matter to me. Because, Master doesn't think I'm just an emotionless monster. Master loves me, for me. She sees past my emotionless state, and loves the me that's deep inside of me."
I looked up at him with an apologetic look on my face.
"Makoto-sama...I know it might not mean anything to you, but I want to apologize for thinking horrible things about you. It was wrong to judge you by just meeting you. I shouldn't of thought that you're a freak and I never want to be friends with you. You don't have to forgive me, but I will still say that I am so sorry for thinking mean and rude things about you."
He doesn't say anything to me, but he does pat my head. Somehow, I feel like he doesn't actually hate me at all. I, prejudge him based on what he was like when we first met. Just because he doesn't show emotions, it doesn't mean that he is weird or insane or anything.
"Makoto-sama..."
"I was asked to protect Le Fay-san by her Onii-sama, Arthur-san."
He suddenly spoke about that. I blinked in surprise and nodded.
"That's right."
"Arthur-san didn't have to ask me, because I would've protected Le Fay-san anyway."
"Y-You would've?"
That's kind of a stupid question, thinking about it. He did protect me from the blades before, before anyone said anything about protecting me.
"I would've. Le Fay-san is different to everyone else in the group. They all have something that makes them less than good. But Le Fay-san doesn't have an ounce of evil intentions in her heart. I can sense that with my own body."
He really isn't bad at all. I feel so bad now. I was so awful and thought bad things...
"I don't understand why you're being so nice to me Makoto-sama. I don't understand it at all."
"Its because, I like Le Fay-san, that's all. She's different to the others in the group. Its...refreshing to interact with someone who doesn't wish to fight all the time. Even if Le Fay-san hates me, I can't bring myself to have a negative thought about her."
I covered my mouth and shed tears. He really is nice after all. He still likes me, despite him thinking that I hate him. I felt a hand on my face, brushing the tears away.
"Tears are unnecessary. You don't have to shed these tears. I know Le Fay-san doesn't hate me, as I heard your thoughts. You're sorry for thinking them. You're the first person to ever take back their opinion about me."
"I...I am sorry Makoto-sama. I think you're so nice to the bad me."
He stopped in his tracks, and placed a hand on my shoulder, which made my face turn bright red.
"I'll protect Le Fay-san. Don't fear."
I took his hand, and held it in my own.
"Hehe, thank you Makoto-sama...no, is it alright if I call you Makoto-kun instead?"
"If you wish too."
"Okay! Thank you...Makoto-kun. For not hating me."
"Don't worry about it. Now, let us continue."
I nodded and we went forward, up the everlasting staircase. This thing is huge. And its getting increasingly cold. It must be that due to the thing up here, it is sending out coldness...either that or it could be due to the level we are on. The cold air must be blowing up there, strongly.
As I was shivering, I felt something wrap around me...his coat! He's taken off his coat, and wrapped it around me! He's only wearing a shirt now! Of course his pants as well, but he's going to freeze!
"Makoto-kun! You are going to freeze like that!"
"I have a higher tolerance for the cold than you do. Don't worry Le Fay-san, you keep my coat and stay warm."
My face turned like a cherry and nodded. He is so sweet, even without realizing it. I feel warm right now...in my chest area. In my chest, a heat is rising. Each time I look at him, I feel...strange. Like something...something has...
"We're about to reach the top Le Fay-san. Stay behind me."
I did as he asked, and got behind him. He stopped briefly, but going to the top of the staircase with me closely behind him.
Once we got to the top, I became a little shocked. This place, looks like a throne room. There's a large throne at the front of the room, with a wolf sat on it, looking at us. But there's also our teammates! They have made it to the top as well! I'm so relieved right now! Makoto-sama...Makoto-kun and I went towards the others, where Onii-sama comes over to me quickly and checks on my condition as Makoto-kun went over to Vali-sama.
"Le Fay, are you alright!?"
"Y-Yes, I am just fine Onii-sama."
Onii-sama looks at the extra coat I'm wearing, and raises an amused eyebrow as I turn my attention back to Makoto-kun. He's so cute...and sweet...and so nice...he has a nicely built body I know that...
"So, what did you and Makoto-kun do together exactly?"
"N-Nothing! What are you insinuating exactly!?"
"Haha, nothing Le Fay. I just think that something has changed in the way you're looking at Makoto-kun. What happened between you two anyway?"
I shook my head and hugged myself tightly.
"Nothing really. We killed a giant crab, and found some stairs, walked up them, and here we are. That's it Onii-sama."
"If that's all, then what's with the blush on your face when you looked at him then?"
"I-Its cold! My face went red because of the cold!"
He's trying to make me say something that didn't happen! I know it! Onii-sama pats my head with a smirk. I stuck out my tongue. Onii-sama then got close to my ear and whispered "I think you're getting a crush on Makoto-kun." which I denied with a shake of my head! As if! A crush!? I wouldn't get a crush like that! Although I can see why...he might think something like that...
"Alright, everyone gather around. We're going to be fighting now."
So we all went to Vali-sama, but Makoto-kun put out his hand.
"If its alright Vali-sama, I wish to become Le Fay-sans guard so she doesn't sustain any injuries."
Vali-sama lets a bemused smirk appear on her face as she looked between us.
"I see. Then, use your Sacred Gear and long range attacks to support us while protecting Le Fay."
"I will Vali-sama. Make sure that Bikou-san dies."
Bikou-san cries as Vali-sama and the others besides Makoto-kun and myself went forward towards the giant wolf who launched an attack right back. I couldn't help look at Makoto-kun as he told the others what he giant wolf was going to do.
He's so cool. I can't believe that I actually thought anything bad about him when he's been nothing but nice to me. Saving me...giving me his coat...ooh no. I-I can't...be right? Onii-sama isn't right, is he? Even though I was kind of scared of him this morning...now its different...Makoto-kun is...I THINK I'M GETTING A CRUSH ON HIM!
End chapter! A past chapter involving how Le Fay and Makoto first started interacting with one another and how their friendship started to develop. I hope everyone enjoyed that. Well, until next chapter!
