Hi everyone I'm back! Sorry but school has been driving me nuts that I really haven't been able to really touch my laptop unless I need it for class. I also want to send a quick shout out to our friends that had to go through the Paris attacks a few days ago. No matter what happens the United States will stand tall with Paris just as they did when America was under attack in 2001.

Thanks and have a Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate.

After the family made it back to the house, Bruce had laid Dick on the sofa putting a blanket around him. "We better find that dog sooner than later." Jason said watching the entire scene.

"I know. Not only that but…" Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Alfred went to open the door and in walked a twenty-four year old man with black hair. He was wearing jeans, a black shirt and brown sweatshirt.

"Hey Alf. How's it going?" He said.

"Well look who decided to actually show up." Damian said coming in the hall.

"Look who's still a little demon brat. Anyway I wanted to actually see my brother in person and not just some picture in the newspaper."

"You weren't excited when Bruce brought me home. Plus he and I are the closest with our back stories." Jason said now coming in with Bruce and Tim.

"Same back-story? You had a reason for going to that awful place. All he did was watch his parents get killed."

"Why thank you Terry for that wonderful statement. Now if you tell Dick that…"

"Why would I tell my new brother that? Oh that's right, because his older brother already did."

"Now I'm regretting you visiting now. Look, I was wrong okay? I was just kind of jealous. I mean this kid came from the exact same place I did…"

"The place you deserved to be."

"Look whose talking Mr. Bad boy. You used to party all night and not care about anything in the world."

"Well I like the girls and partying. It's Wayne's rules I can't stand."

"I put in these rules for a reason."

"Ones that you never follow! Why do I have to be told what to do if you don't even follow those rules yourself?!"

All of a sudden, the door was opened to reveal Dick rubbing his eyes and walking in. Once he was fully awake, he noticed that there was a stranger standing in the main hall with bags. Feeling nervous, he walked over to where Bruce was and stood behind him.

"You can't be afraid of me kiddo." Terry said causing Dick to latch onto Bruce's leg.

"Birdie what's wrong? It's just Terry." Tim said. Dick then came out from behind Bruce and looked at Terry. Terry smiled and got down to Dick's level.

"Hey there kid. My name is Terry. I'm sure the others have told you all about me." He said but Dick didn't say anything. "I've heard you haven't had a real good experience since coming here. Trust me I didn't when I first came here, but I promise that you're safe here and have a home with us." Dick let some of his guard down but still wasn't ready to trust Terry yet. Dick then realized that his faithful new dog wasn't anywhere is sight. "Oh Ace." He said and started to cry.

"Hey, none of those tears. We'll find him Birdie, I promise you." Tim said coming over and hugging him.

"Ace?" Terry asked.

"A dog we're adopting. Birdie found him hurt and abandon in a ditch." Jason explained.

"I see. What happened?"

"There was a man sneaking around the manor last night. Ace chased after him but he never came home."

"I'm sorry kiddo. Did you guys find and leads or clues?"

"We discovered Ace's temporary tags in the woods. I have a feeling it's all connected to the person who abused Ace in the past." Damian said.

"Where did you get that lead from?" Jason asked full of sarcasm.

"I've been doing this a long time Todd. It runs in the family."

"Even if that were true we really don't have anywhere to go with this." Tim said.

"What if...what if we don't find him?" Dick sobbed.

"We'll find him kid. I think this is a perfect opportunity to say I'm staying with the family for the summer. Get to know my new brother a little." Terry stated before Bruce could try to protest.

"Wonderful sir. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to prepare lunch." Alfred said and left for the kitchen. Tim then picked up his brother and set him on his hip.

"I'll meet you boys in the cave. Terry we're not done with this conversation." Bruce said as he started to walk towards the cave entrance and walked into the elevator.

"I think it is Wayne." Terry said as the entrance to the cave closed up. Dick was then heard starting to whimper.

"Alright Dick you have to calm down now. Ace knows that he has to come back home as soon as he can." Tim said.

"How do you know? What if he ran away on purpose?"

"Hey we're not talking like that! Ace has to come back so he can make sure anyone bad doesn't get close to you. Remember why he was growling at Petsmart? Ronnie Boxer was too close to you and he didn't want you to get hurt. That's why he chased after him last night."

"You think so?

"I'm positive."

"So why don't you guys go analyze the tags for fingerprints. I'm going to get to know Dickie a little more." Terry said causing Dick to put his arm around Tim's neck and squeezed it tight.

"Easy Birdie!" Tim said hacking.

"Great job McGinnis. You're scaring him."

"I am not! Aren't I Dickie?" Terry asked expecting an answer but never came. Terry looked at Dick who refused to even look at him. "What can I do to have you trust me?" He asked.

"It may take time. He didn't trust us at first either." Bruce explained.

"I don't blame him. I get that he doesn't trust me, but Jason?" He said making Tim laugh.

"Who knows?"

"Uh…I'm still here!" Jason said waving making Dick smile a little. Terry suddenly had an idea.

"I still don't know why I trust you period!" Terry said grabbing Jason and roughly digging his fist into his head.

"I don't trust any of you." Damian said.

"That's because the demon doesn't trust anyone. Tim said.

"I trust you Damian." Dick said.

"Told you Drake;"

"Dickie has been put under some type of spell. We have to save him!" Tim said and put him on the floor while tickling him.

"Timmy…ha-ha…stop it…OW!" Dick shouted. Tim stopped suddenly when he heard his brother cry out in pain.

"Dick are you alright?" Tim asked.

"What happened?" Terry asked coming over to inspect him. He then lifted up his shirt to see a now faded bruise start to gain its color back.

"Sorry Birdie, I forgot you're not technically healed yet."

"S'okay." Dick said whimpering.

"I think we should put some medicine on it." Jason suggested.

"Good idea." Tim said and the group went up to Dick's room where the medicine was.

"Okay now how do you do this?" Jason asked now holding the cap.

"Uhhh…just rub it on the bruise. Are you as stupid as I thought Todd?" Damian said.

"No! But I don't want Dickie to be in any pain."

"Let me do it. I have a steadier hand then you do anyway." Terry explained.

"You've got to be…I mean be my guest McGinnis." Damian said only to be hit by Tim. Terry then took the tub of lotion medicine and as gently as he could, rubbed it on Dick's chest.

"T-thanks Terry that feels so much better now."

"No problem kid." Terry said. "Think I'm so mean now?" He asked shaking his head but still found some mistrust in his eyes. "That's okay. You and I can work on that all summer. Now what do you say we go get our dog back?" Dick nodded and the brother went downstairs to join the cave with Bruce.

I don't know what it is but I've felt uninterested in this story for a little bit. I don't know if I'm just out of ideas or I've got a major case of writer's block. I've had a few ideas but not too many. I've been thinking about redoing some earlier chapters and just fix a few things that I didn't like when I read it again. I guess most of my thinking is on Batman vs. Robin and what I'm doing with that story. I have a good idea but I still have a few holes to fill in. So I hope you like it and will let you know what I decide to do whether it's redoing the whole story or just certain parts. Thanks for all your support.
