Energy Shot

This was by far the worst she had ever seen her little sister, in fact, it had to be the worst she had seen anyone ever! What was wrong, you ask? Well, that was what she was going to find out.

"Ruby...what are you doing hanging upside down in that tree, with Blake's ribbons no less." Yang asked, a hand on her hip as she cocked an eyebrow.

"Ahhh...my head is pounding." Ruby whined, her eyes closed as she lightly swing back and forth from the tangled ribbon she was caught in. "That was such a bad idea."

"What was and why didn't you invite me?" Yang asked, chuckling as she watched her little sister's eyes begin to droop. "Hey! Helllllo~! I'm talking here!" As the younger began to slowly close her eyes, Yang straightened her posture, a tad worried about the sudden shift of energy. "Ruby? Ruby? You in there?"

A loud snore erupted from the hanging girl, deep asleep even though she still hung from the tree. This made the older blink, not used to hearing her sister make such a noise before. She would have jumped into action too, but seeing her team, team JNPR, as well as Sun and Neptune approach her, she knew then something was up.

Big time.

"There she is!" Weiss snarled as she rushed up to the base of the tree. "And asleep of all things! What nerve!"

"I'll get her down." Sun laughed as he climbed the tree and began to try and untangle the spinning leader. "Oh man! That was a grand time! I'm so happy we came here!"

"Yeah, because having a hyperactive, fifteen year old hanging off you and stealing your firing goggles is just a treat. I'm already looking after one monkey thief, I don't need two." Neptune sighed as he listened to his partner laugh.

"Oh man! That was the funniest shit I've ever seen!" Sun gasped for breath as he loosened one knot, making an arm dangle. "And then she started acting like a race car driver and you were her fucking car!"

Neptune let out an deep sigh, though a small smile was on his lips. "Well, we both know I would make the better car."

"Says who?" Sun huffed, "I'd make a great car!"

Neptune ran a hand through his hair and flashed his pearly white teeth as he gave his hips a little cock to the side. "...dude."

"Good point."

"Can someone just tell me what the hell is going on here?!" Yang roared, her semblance flaring up for a moment. "And hurry up and get her down!"

"I'm afraid this is all my fault, Yang." Blake admitted, Weiss huffing as she crossed her arms and looked down her nose at the taller girl. "It was the energy drinks I had bought her."

"The ones I told her not to get her." Weiss added.

"They were still sitting in the fridge and I told Ruby that they were going to go bad if she didn't drink them. I didn't think she'd drink them all in one sitting." Blake explained. "And at first, she was handling it well, a little jittery but well nonetheless, until she suddenly just...bursted into motion!"

Yang sighed as she slapped an open palm against her forehead. "Oh Dust...I'm sure this is just gonna be a freakin' story."

"I was blinded by rose petals and found that she had taken my ribbon, shouting that she needed it to fight and destroy evil. I tried to keep her in the room, but she jumped out of the window."

"That is where she found me." Pyrrha explained. "I'm not sure why, but she rushed up to me, petals just molting off her, calling me a 'fair and honest knight'. I knew something was wrong, but I decided that trying to disrupt such an illusion would be futile. While being dragged through most of the school grounds, we found Jaune and she...threw me at my 'prince' and told us to 'rule over the lands with a fair and gentle fist.' though I'm sure she was just kidding around." Pyrrha nervously chuckled, a blush staining both of her and Jaune's cheeks.

"She then found us." Ren sighed, making Nora giggle. "I was forced to have a dance party with her and Nora."

"That doesn't sound so bad." Yang mused, tilting her head to the side.

"...with glitter." Ren sighed, Nora laughing as she reached up to ruffle up her friend's hair, glitter shook from the dark locks. "Our room's a mess."

"And then we played dress up and forced Ren into a dress and he looked so cuuuuuute~!" Nora laughed, bouncing up and down as she recalled the memory. "But Ren started to get mad when we tried to take pictures and started yelling, making Ruby cry and run off."

Ren tried to keep Nora from telling the last bit of the story, waving his hands and shaking his head, but the growl that erupted from the blonde sister signaled his failure to do so.

"That's when Little Red found us! She ran right into me, knocking me down and covering us in petals." Sun grinned. "So I asked her what was wrong and said she was feeling sad, no reason why, so I knew we had to cheer her up!"

"Of course, Sun's way of cheering her up was going to town and stealing things, but she said a knight never steals what it protects, or something like that. Anyway, I guess she saw my goggles and wanted then, stole them from me, and then climbed onto my shoulders and started making car noises." Neptune smiled pointing up at the suspended girl, who Sun was almost done freeing. "She still has them around her neck actually."

"So after we had her laughing and smiling again, she said she was on a high enough level to defeat the boss, whoever that is, and took off." Sun shrugged as he untied the last knot, making her fall into the awaiting arms of her sister.

"That would be me." Weiss sighed, holding her head in her hands. "And I'm also the reason why she was in that tree, though it was a grave accident." The deep blush that crept from the heiress' cheeks and ears told everyone that whatever happened was a quite a tale. "I was studying under a large tree, trying to keep away from any distractions, when I was suddenly pounced on by Ruby. Seeing a glitter covered, ribbon wrapped, goggle wearing, hyperactive girlfriend was enough to make me throw up a barrier glyph, but she was far too fast and side stepped it easily. Once I was in her grasp, she proceeded to try and 'kiss the coldness from me'."

"Okay...while I'm not mad that you used one of your glyphy...things, how did that put Ruby in the tree?" Yang asked, making the heiress blush all the more.

"I...well...normally, I only allow Ruby to kiss me on the cheeks, forehead, temple, or lips but...she...well, she kissed my neck and I-"

"Wait, wait, wait!" Yang laughed. "You did all this because she kissed her neck?"

"I'm sensitive there, okay?!" Weiss yelled. "It's ticklish and rather odd, so I may have freaked out and used an air step glyph to send Ruby flying! I've been looking for her since. We all have!"

"Though now, it seems she has finally crashed." Blake mused. "It seems that she burned through all that caffeine and sugar rather quickly, which might be a blessing in disguise."

"What do you mean, disguise?! It's a miracle and we all know it! That girl is a demon when she's on a sugar high! I say we banned the substance from her permanently." Weiss snarled as she pointed to the slumbering girl.

"You're just mad that she found a ticklish spot." Yang huffed as she started walking back to the dorms, everyone following her. "And that she didn't get to 'kiss the coldness' from you completely."

"YANG XIAO LONG! I WILL MURDER YOU AND THEY'LL NEVER FIND YOUR BODY!" Weiss screeched, making everyone laugh at the red faced heiress, though when they took off running, everyone knew that Ruby wouldn't be the only one that would crash this day.
