Around three weeks later Carla had a doctors appointment. Peter was still unaware that she was pregnant, although a little bump had started to show she just hid it well, she didn't know how far gone she was but knew if she had a small bump she was a little far gone.

Carla was spending a lot of time with Peter during the evening's but he would never stay over. Carla was actively trying to hide her pregnancy from him and any form of nakedness would result in him noticing the slight change in her figure.

They would still be affectionate with a kiss or a cuddle, as Carla could not keep her hands off of him and it was beginning to get harder not to have sex with him. The more time she spent with him the more she was forgiving him.

Carla made her way into the factory on a monday morning. She had her appointment on the wednesday of this week and was a little nervous to be honest. It was a sizing scan to see how far along she was and to check everything was ok as she was an older mum.

Aiden was sat at his desk, typing away at his computer he hardly noticed her walk in.

"Morning brother" Carla said placing her bag on the desk and her phone on the side.

"Morning" he said not exactly trying to hard to take his face away from the screen.

"Ok, i'll leave you to it then" Carla said a little put out.

A couple of hours later and kate entered the office. "Hello how's it going in here?" she asked with a smile.

"It's ok, Aiden has been so busy all morning he hasn't even spoken to me" Carla said but Aiden was still busy he didn't even look up.

"Has he been like that all morning?" Kate asked Carla.

"Pretty much"

"Well I wanted to take my older brother and sister out to lunch" Kate started "but I see i'm not going to get my brother so how about my sister" Kate asked.

Carla didn't really want to go because the smell of food made her nauseous but she didn't to let her down.

"Ok, let's go" Carla said picking up her bag.

On the way to the bistro the girls bumped into Peter.

"Hello" Peter said placing a kiss on Carla's cheek "Where are you off to?" he asked.

"We are having a spot of lunch in the bistro" Carla told him "girls only"

"Ok I get the hint" Peter said laughing "I'll see you later though"

"Yes" Carla said placing a kiss on his lips, small but affectionate.

The two women then continued to the bistro "he loves you, you know" Kate said.

"I know" Carla smiled, letting Kate through the door whilst she held it open.

Kate and Carla took a seat and looked through the menus.

"Kate, I don't think i'll have much today to be honest, maybe just a salad"

"Carla, that's boring, lets get something better than that, it's on dad" Kate said waving his credit card around.

"No, I just fancy a salad" Carla said.

"Well at least get a bottle with me, i'll even make it red because that's your favourite"

"No, I don't want wine thanks" Carla said casually making Kate laugh.

"You always have wine with lunch" Kate probed.

"Ok, Kate I have something to tell you" Carla said looking around from their booth to make sure no one else could hear.

"What? What is it?" Kate asked waiting for her sister's news.

"You are going to be an aunt" Carla said with a smile "I'm pregnant"

"Congratulations" Kate said excitedly throwing her arms around her.

"No one apart from Michelle knows and I would like it kept that way" Carla said quietly.

"That's fine, I won't tell anyone. I'm just so happy for you"

"Thanks Kate, it means alot"

"How did Peter take it" Kate asked.

"He doesn't know yet" Carla said shyly knowing the response she was going to get.

"Carla, how could you not tell him?" Kate asked shocked.

"I just haven't been able to face him" Carla started "When i found out we were in a fight over the whole Tina situation and it felt just like last time, I was transported back"

"Carla" Kate said taking her hand "you are in a completely different place this time, Peter and you are not the best right now but if you are honest with yourself i'm sure you are hating it and that it has something to do with your hormones and emotions"

"I suppose you are right" Carla said "I have a doctors appointment wednesday so I will tell him by then, besides this whole having no sex thing is doing my head in" Carla laughed.

"I'm confused" Kate said "you can definitely have sex whilst pregnant"

"Yes kate you can" Carla smirked "but I am showing the smallest bump and I didn't want Peter to see"

"Excuse me" kate smiled.

"Well that man knows every inch of my body…"

"Ok Carla too much for a little sister to hear" Kate laughed.

The two women continued their very happy lunch. When they were finished Carla went back to the factory to help Aiden.

Rob had wanted to catch Carla and saw her going in. He ran over and through the doors.

"Oh hello Rob" Carla said shocked to see him here.

"Hello, I just wanted to check on you, haven't seen you in a while" Rob said.

"True, so how are you?" Carla asked

The two of them had a pleasant conversation whilst Aiden just sat and listened. When they had finished Rob made his way out of the factory.

Carla thought about telling him about the baby, but if Peter knew he knew before him then it would start world war three.

Johnny walked through the office door half an hour after Rob had left,

"Full of little visitors today aren't we Aiden" Carla said with a cheeky smile.

"Yeah it's like a revolving doors in here today" Aiden said.

"I just came to check on my children, is that such a bad thing?" Johnny said.

"No I suppose not" Carla said.

Whilst Johnny was in there talking about family and how things were good at the moment Carla had an idea.

"Can we arrange a family celebration on wednesday?" Carla asked.

Johnny and Aiden shot her a look.

"I'm sure Michelle and Robert would host for us" Carla said.

"Have you got something to tell us?" Johnny asked.

"No I just agree with you, our family is good right now so we should have a nice family dinner or celebration to mark that"

"Ok, we can do that, why not" Johnny said happily.

"Ok i'll be there" Aiden said.

Carla smiled, she was happy. She was going to tell Peter tonight and by wednesday she would have seen her baby for the first time. She could then tell everyone that didn't know on wednesday at dinner.

She took out her phone

Meet me at mine in ten xx

She jumped out of her chair "Sorry i've got to go" and with that she was gone leaving Johnny and Aiden confused in the office.

As she arrived home, she quickly re done her makeup, this was the night, she was going to do two things.

One was that she was going to tell Peter about the baby and two she was going to have sex with the love of her life and the father of her baby.

Carla just finished redoing her makeup when there was a knock on the door. Carla took a deep breath.

She opened the door to a very good looking Peter standing there with a bunch of flowers and a silly grin on his face.

"Hello" Peter said.

"Get in here" Carla said pulling him in by his shirt and placing a long loving kiss on his lips.

"You are in a great mood" Peter said taking a breath and smiling at her.

"I am" Carla said.

"Well can I ask what has you in this good mood" Peter asked. Carla nodded and smiled.

She pulled him by his hand over to the sofa.

"Take a seat" she said.

"Ok Carla what is going on?" Peter said suspiciously.

"I need to tell you the reason we haven't had sex in a while" Carla said.

"Ok" Peter said very confused.

"I haven't wanted you to see me naked" Carla told him shyly.

"Car, i've seen you naked more times then I have had school dinner's what's going on" he said taking her hand in his.

"Ok, here it goes" Carla started, she took a deep breath in "Peter, I'm pregnant" she looked him dead in the eyes as she said it with a gentle voice.

She waited around three seconds before she got a happy reaction from Peter.

"Are you serious?"

"Yes, a doctor has confirmed" carla said with a big smile on her face.

"You're pregnant" Peter said in disbelief.

"Yes Peter"

"I can't believe it"

"Are you happy?" Carla asked.

"Carla am I happy?" Peter said jumping up, grabbing her on the way up throwing her up off of her feet and pulled her in close, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"I take this as a yes" Carla smiled, she also let out a tear which Peter noticed once he put her down.

"What's wrong?" Peter asked.

"Nothing i'm just so happy that you are happy" Carla said.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"I don't know, I just didn't know how you would react"

"Carla, losing our baby was the worse thing to possibly happen to us, you know I blame myself, so for us to have another chance at this, I am just so happy" he placed a soft kiss on her hand.

"It wasn't your fault" she kissed him on his forehead "but I agree this is our second chance and I'm so happy" Carla said.

"So how far gone are you, what did the doctor say" Peter asked taking his seat on the sofa again.

"Ok, so we have a dating scan tomorrow" Carla started.

"Does that mean we get to see the baby?" Peter asked excitedly.

"Yes" Carla started "Ok so I have to tell you something and I don't want you to worry or get mad"

"Ok" he said curiously.

"I found out about the baby at the hospital" Carla said.

"What why were you there?" Peter said worried.

"Ok, when you had that argument with Rob, I hadn't eaten all day and was making my way to dinner when you were fighting" Peter took Carla's hand "So I collapsed and Michelle took me to the hospital"

"Oh Carla"

"I was fine but the doctor told me then that I was pregnant..." Carla told him.

Peter jumped in before she could continue "you have known about the baby since then?"

"Yes"

"Carla, that was weeks ago"

"I know but we.."

"Carla, that's longer than last time" Peter said a little angry. "I'm guessing Michelle knows"

"Yes, she does but only because she was there" Carla said gently not wanting to tell him that Kate knows too.

"Carla why didn't you tell me"

"Well we were in an argument and it just felt so much like last time" Carla said with her head bowed.

"Carla, I don't understand even though we were in a argument I am still the father you should have told me"

"I know but I'm sorry and you know now and we will see the baby in the morning and nothing else will matter" Carla said smiling "So can you forgive me?"

"Of course I can but you need to be able to tell me this stuff Carla"

"I know and from now on I will" Carla placed a kiss on his lips hoping to butter him up.

"Ok so" Peter started with a cheeky smile "Does that mean I can see you naked now?"

Carla laughed and kissed him passionately "Definitely" she said in between kisses.
