Disclaimer: Apparently, I don't own any transitions either. Parker took them!
"A guy who kills people and lives in our city."
He can see in Nate's eyes that it ain't Nicky Moscone the man's thinking of. He doesn't know what Nate's mob ties are, but they're somewhere. You can't get that kind of fear from the outside.
He's got his own share of insider fears, but this ain't one of 'em. An' after the way Nate condescended from his high horse during that Castleman mess, Eliot ain't givin' him an out.
Criminal record aside, Hardison was too green and too clean to know that kind of fear. Assuming Parker was afraid of anything, it'd be crazy as she was. The girl jumped off buildings for fun.
He suspected Sophie'd been 'one of them' so often she didn't know what she belonged to enough to be hurt by anymore, but, whatever her fears, he'd bet they were what got them all killed. After all, mob trouble looked like her idea of romance.

A/N: I'm back, but still a little off. This started out a Nate drabble, but then Eliot hijacked it and I couldn't keep up.
