Part twenty-five

"Tifaaa … TIFAAAA!"

Jerking her lips away from Cloud's, Tifa stared at their closed door. It burst open to reveal Marlene running towards them. Stopping dead in her tracks, Marlene cocked her head aside and her face turned from an hyperactive, overjoyed little girl into a confused one.

Tifa and Cloud were interrupted halfway through their making out session. Tifa was lying on Cloud with the covers half covering their bodies. Cloud had been holding her firmly by her waist but had released her the moment Marlene stormed in.

Luckily for them, they still had their sleeping attire on.

"Tifa? What are you doing?" Marlene asked with a confused look at the woman she saw as her mother.

"Heum, I was just crawling out of bed" came her lame excuse.

"Over Cloud?"

Staring down, she found Cloud looking at her with raised eyebrows.

"Yeah Teef, over me? That's not smart is it!" Cloud played along with Marlene. If he wasn't so Goddamned sexy with only wearing his boxers Tifa would have had an answer ready, but she was way too distracted to come up with something.

Hearing a giggling sound from next to their bed, they both turned to found Marlene staring at them. Her tiny hands held behind her back with Mr. Buggles dangling from them.

"Well, Marlene, why did you come here?" Tifa asked while she maneuvered herself from Cloud and sat down.

"Sheela is on her way! She called daddy a few minutes ago, soooooo I have to goooo and get ready! And I want you to make my breakfast because daddy doesn't know what I want and Cloud doesn't either. I didn't want to wake you but auntie Yuffie is still snoring! And and Cid and Shera are downstairs working in the basement and and and … I'm scared of Vincent …"

The both adults were staring dumbfounded to the little girl in front of them. Taking their time to process what had just left the little girls mouth it was Cloud who spoke first.

"I do know what you want!" Cloud said raising his head up high.

"Oh yeah? Tell me then!" Marlene demanded while placing her fists on her tiny waist.

"Chocolate milk!"

"Good guess … what else…"

"Cereal!"

"Duh! Which one?" Marlene asked with one of her eyebrows raised, she knew Cloud always forgot which cereal she wanted.

"heu … the one in the box?" Cloud asked with a confused look on his face.

"Seeeee! That's why I want Tifa! So come on Tifa! Sheela will be here soon!" Marlene yelled while going towards Tifa and started dragging her towards the door.

"Okay okay, take it easy sweetheart, can't I go and change first?" Tifa asked pointing towards her sleeping attire.

"Okay, but then I want breakfast! I'm hungry!" Marlene whined.

"Sure, just let me grab my clothes while you get yours and we can get ready together. How does that sound?" Tifa asked sweetly when picking up the little girl.

"Deal!" Giving Tifa a kiss on her cheek, she jumped out of her arms and ran towards her bedroom. When Tifa was starting to take her clothes she felt Cloud's arms wrap themselves around her waist and pulling her closer.

"I thought WE were going to get ready together" Cloud said seductively into her ear when Tifa felt his hardness pocking in her lower back. When his hands started traveling dangerously south, she let out a gasp and laid her head on his chest. Cloud took the opportunity and started sucking on her neck.

"TIIIIFFAAAAAA!"

Interrupted yet again, Tifa giggled and stepped away from Cloud's embrace.

"Sorry stud, next time is yours." Tifa promised him when she walked towards the hallway to meet with an eager little girl who was waiting at the bathroom.

"I hold you to that!" Cloud yelled after her leaving form.

After everyone was up and had their breakfast, they all gathered their stuff and were all waiting in the bar for Rufus, Reno and Rude to arrive. Sheela had left a few minutes ago with Marlene who had took her time to say goodbye to everyone. Cloud had just finished putting his and Tifa's stuff into fenrir when he walked into the bar and what he found was off course complete chaos.

What did you expect? Putting everyone from AVALANCHE in one room before a big journey filled with danger was bound to turn into disaster.

"Ya infuriating little piece of NINJA! Get'back here!" Cid yelled running after Yuffie who was jumping on and over the tables. She was holding Cid's pack of smokes and clearly he didn't like that one bit.

"HUSBAND! Stop it! you know that doesn't help!" Shera yelled while she was trying to stop Cid from running around.

"She started'it and I'm finishn it!" he yelled back.

"Ya freaken piece of shit!" Barret yelled who was standing at one end of a table with Zack standing at the other side.

"What's up fatty! Can't catch me!" Zack dared him while taunting him with his fingers.

"THAT'S IT!" Barret barked. Picking up the table, he threw it aside and dashed straight forward towards Zack.

"Ohoh …" Zack reacted and sprinted away.

"Don't ya run'way from me!"

"It's good for you! Get some exercise! That way you will lose some much needed pounds!" Zack laughed when he reached another table and grinned at Barret who was already covered in sweat from head to toe.

"Oh Zack, just apologize to him!" Aerith tried to negotiate with Zack.

"No way! It's not my fault he is fat!" Zack grinned before running away again, barely missing Yuffie in the process.

"Oh for goodness sake …" Aerith sighed while shaking her head.

"Let me GOOOOOO!" Yuffie yelled when Cid finally got a hold on her. She was kicking and punching him hysterically but Cid held onto her tightly trying to grab his smokes from her hand.

Cloud just stood there dumbfounded when he felt a gentle hand on his back. Turning towards his girl he silently asked for an explanation.

"Don't ask…" Tifa sighed while staring at the people in front of her. The only one not moving around besides the both of them was Vincent who was again staring at Yuffie the entire time.

When Cloud heard the door open, he saw Rufus and his men standing in the doorway. All frowning at the scene in front of them. Taking it that it was time to leave, Cloud stood up straight and yelled on the top of his longs,

"FREEEEEEZE!"

In an instant everybody stood perfectly still, all eyes towards their leader. Cid was still holding Yuffie up with Shera behind him, pulling at his shirt. Aerith was standing next to Zack with Barret only a few inches away from them.

"Yuffie give Cid's smokes back … NOW!" Cloud ordered while looking at her with anger and demand in his eyes.

She quickly lowered her arm and held out Cid's smokes towards him, who grabbed them swiftly to place them in his back pocket.

"Zack, apologize to Barret! Loud and CLEAR!"

"… sorry…" Zack whispered while looking at his feet.

"Say that again?" Cloud said while placing his hand at his ear.

"I'm SORRY!"

"Good, now Barret apologize to Tifa for breaking her table."

Looking confused Barret looked around and found one of the tables lying on the floor with two broken legs. Scratching himself behind his back, he looked apologetically towards Tifa and immediately apologized.

"Sorry Tifa, didn't mean to do'that."

"It's okay Barret … just … hold it the next time okay." Tifa smiled sweetly towards them.

"Well this was certainly entertaining." Rufus said with a grin on his face.

"Rufus." Cloud said while nodding his head in sign greeting him.

"Cloud, Tifa, I take it you will need some more time to get everything organized?" Rufus asked while looking around at everyone in the room. Cid had released Yuffie, but was still glaring at him. Meanwhile Shera was talking to her husband but he was clearly not paying attention.

Aerith was talking to Zack who was standing in front of her like a little boy who was being told he was grounded and could not go outside to play with his friends. Barret was replacing the tables in the bar and picking up the scattered pieces.

"No, that's fine, we're ready. It's always like this when we leave." Tifa said smiling while hopping towards the bar to grab hers and Cloud's goggles.

"Oh … Is that so…" Rufus looked confused before turning around and heading outside again.

"HOLY MOTHERF*CKN' GAIA! Look at that f*ckn beauty!" Barret barked when he came outside. Parked right in front of Seaventh Heaven there was a brand new truck. Barret's mouth was hanging open and there was literally drool hanging from its corners.

"You miiiight wanna wipe that oooof Bighead!" Yuffie sang when she came standing next to him while waving a handkerchief in his face.

Taking it without looking at her, Barret wiped his mouth and gave it back to her, not letting his eyes leave the monster parked in front of him.

"One wooord, Ieuw!" Yuffie said while holding the handkerchief in front of her with two fingers.

"Does she pleases you Mr. Barret?" Rufus said while rolling towards him.

"What the hell do ya think!" Cid laughed when he came to stand next to his partner. Taking a smoke, he lit it and watch the truck together with Barret.

"I'm glad then, because she is yours." Rufus explained getting a surprised look from both Barret and Reno.

"What the hell?" they both yelled in unison. Looking confused towards one another they couldn't decide who to watch.

"Reno … we've been through this …" Rufus sighed while looking at his trusted bodyguard.

"Well yeah but … but I thought you were joking boss!" Reno whined.

"Reno, I told you before, I wasn't joking!"

"But … But BOSS!

Sighing loudly, Rufus made his way towards Reno who was standing there like a child who had dropped his ice-cream and it was like the end of the world.

"Reno, after … after my ending, you and Rude will inherit most of my personal belongings. The both of you have been my most loyal guards and I am very grateful for that. I intended to inform you both on my last evening … but … you being you I had to tell you now, else you would be completely unbearable the rest of the journey ..." a few snickers could be heard coming from the people who were listening to Rufus his confession. Reno just looked at his boss who was soon going to die but there was absolutely any sign of emotion visible on his face. He just kept staring and it was quite for a few minutes.

After what seemed like an hour, Reno took a step towards Rufus and sat himself down on his knees in front of him.

"It was an honor working for you Mr. Shinra." Reno said in a voice nobody had ever heard. It was seriousness filled with pride and a hint of sadness.

When Rude saw Reno making the gesture, he hurried himself down next to Reno and laid a hand on his partners shoulder. Looking up he found Rufus looking down at him.

"For me as well Mr. Shinra. A great honor it was."

"No my friends, the honor was mine."

"All right, all right! Enough of this shit! Let's hit the road!" Cid barked when he walked passed them while swinging his bag over his shoulder.

"HUSBAND!" Shera yelled at him with her hands on her hips looking enraged towards him. Turning around, Cid raised both his eyebrows and his shoulders with an uninterested look on his face.

"What?"

"A little humanity wouldn't hurt you once in a while you know?" Shera barked while walking towards him and smacking him on the chest.

"Hey! Don't ya…" Cid started to protest Shera but was interrupted by Cloud's voice.

"ENOUGH! Let's go!"

Rufus saw everybody walking towards the new truck and placing their belongings in the trunk, but Tifa and Cloud were both walking the other way, frowning he cleared his throat to get their attention.

"The both of you can easily join us in the truck, it is big enough for everyone."

Looking confused Cloud switched looking from him to Tifa a few times before he started to speak but was interrupted by the lovely, sweet voice of Aerith.

"Didn't you know? Cloud and Tifa always ride on fenrir." When she saw Reno opening his mouth she quickly held her hand over it and started speaking again,

"And no you can't ride it, Cloud would kill you before you even touched it and you can't ride with him either, that spot is Tifa's and no one else's." When she was done speaking to a baffled looking Reno she turned to look at Cloud and Tifa over her shoulder, giving them a wink she started making her way towards the truck and sat herself on the backseat next to Zack.

Tifa smiled proudly at Aerith before looking at Cloud. He was also smiling but only she could see it. She knew Cloud like no other. When Cloud felt her stare on him, he turned towards her and placed his arm around her waist, pulling her close to him. Reaching up his hand, he gently brushed away a strand of loose hair and tucked it behind her ear. Cupping her face with it he started pulling it towards his but when their lips were about to touch they were off course interrupted by no other than Zack.

"Heya Godman! Didn't you just ordered to get moving! THAT isn't moving you know! It's not because you are a God that you …" he couldn't finish his sentence because now it was Barret who interrupted him.

"Shut it ya stupid moron!"

"Hey! I'm right on this!"

"No ya not!"

"Yes I AM!"

"OKAY SHUT UP ALL OF YOU!" Tifa yelled. Surprised, everyone looked towards Tifa who was leaving Cloud's embrace to put on her jacket.

"Let's go, Cloud and me up front and you guys follow us."

"Kay" "Jup" "Goooo Tiiifaaaa!" It sounded from within the truck.

"Good." Turning around, Tifs sat down on fenrir behind Cloud and placed on her goggles. Wrapping her arms around Cloud's waist she looked at him and smiled.

"Let's go honey"

Frowning, Cloud shook his head and turned his attention towards fenrir. Just before he started the engine he silently said,

"Don't call me that."

After a few hours of driving the group arrived at the calm lands. He felt Tifa loosening her grip on his waist, turning around he pulled her closer to him with his arm. Nudging his nose against hers, he placed his forehead against hers and stared deep into her eyes. He truly had never seen anyone with more beautiful eyes then hers. They held everything she was feeling. She was an open book to him and right now, he could see her love for him and her friends, her determination for bringing their mission towards a good end, but he also saw that she was scared.

He couldn't blame her.

They were heading off towards a dangerous place and it was going to be hard on all off them.

"Hey baby, it's going to be okay." Cloud tried to reassure her. Pulling up one corner of his mouth, he tried to smile for her. But it was also hard for himself. He felt himself getting weaker and weaker over the past days.

And she knew it.

"I don't know… I just have this awful feeling something bad is going to happen." Tifa confessed while wrapping her arms around him to hold him close.

"I won't let anything happen to you, you know that. You are everything to me, and anyone who tries to hurt gets to meet my temper. And you know how bad that is!"

Giggling, Tifa shook her head before looking at him and showed him her special smile. Enjoying the vies, Cloud just watched her for a few seconds until he heard the sound of the truck coming closer towards them. Leaning in, Cloud placed his hand on the back of her neck and pulled her face towards his. Crashing his lips on hers, he kissed her fiercely. Parting her lips on his demand, Tifa moaned in his mouth and let his tongue duel with hers. The kiss became more passionate with each passing second and Tifa couldn't get enough of him. Repositioning herself, Tifa sat herself on his lap with her arms around his neck. Clouds arms were securely on her back, pulling her as close to him as possible.

"HEY If I want to see porn, I'll just turn on my laptop! I don't need a freaking life show!"

"Who said you have to WATCH?" Cloud grumbled against Tifa's lips towards Zack before crashing his lips on hers again.

"Did he growled at me? ME? His best friend?" Zack said towards his friends in the truck looking playfully shocked.

"Oh don't be such a baby!" Aerith said while playfully smacking him on his chest.

"And here I was thinking you liked it when I was acting all cutelike and babylike!" Zack whined before looking towards his best friends making-out session for everyone to see.

Moaning one last time, Tifa slowly pulled back to gaze into her lovers eyes. They were a fierce neon green and she loved them. Nobody had eyes like him and he was all hers. Everything about him was hers and she felt like the luckiest girl in the world. Letting her tongue glide over her lowerlip she felt it was a little swollen from their kiss. Smiling, her cheeks turned into a soft shade of pink.

"I just love it when you turn all mushy and love-struck like that!" Cloud chuckled when he observed her.

"I'm not mushy!" Tifa defended herself.

"Oh yes you are! Look how cute you are! All red like a little tiny tomato!" Cloud said with a playful voice while he pinched her in her cheek.

"STOP IT!"

"You love it when I do that!"

"No I don't!" Tifa objected but she couldn't hide the smile that was forming on her face. She was throwing her arms wildly in the air, trying to get Cloud too stop pinching her.

Just when he was about to push her down onto fenrir, Cloud saw something move behind them. As fast as the lightning, Cloud turned around and grabbed his sword witch was attached at the side of his bike. Swinging his sword high in the air he sliced a wolfos in two equal pieces. The fell on the ground on each side of him. Letting the breath escape that he had been holding he stared across the plains.

"There are a lot of fiends on these grounds. We have to be careful." Cloud said in a rough voice. He knew Barret and the rest were now standing beside him and Tifa staring across the lands.

"Right! Let me'at them!" barret barked loudly.

"No, Me and Tifa take the lead, you and the rest protect Aerith and Rufus at all costs." Cloud commanded his team.

"You guuuys aaaaalways get aaaaall the fun!" Yuffie whined while stomping her tiny feet on the ground.

"I'm sure they will leave one for you Yuffie." Vincent said out of nowhere. Everybody jerked their head towards the mysterious man who had recently joined their group but almost never said a word.

"Do you reeeeally think soooo Vinnie?" Yuffie said while leaning over towards him with her hand on her back.

"Vinnie?" Cid asked with a disgusted look on his face.

Shrugging, Vincent looked completely uninterested and started walking towards the truck with Yuffie closely on his heels.

When everybody was heading back towards the truck, Cloud called Zack back to him.

"What is it mate?" Zack said while leaning against fenrir.

Raising his eyebrows Cloud just looked at Zack's ass that was touching his fenrir. Getting the hint, Zack slowly pushed himself off again and waited for Cloud's answer.

"Keep her safe." Were the only three words that left Cloud's mouth before fenrir burst to life and they sped off towards the calm lands.

"Sure thing bro." Zack whispered before he jogged towards the truck and jumped in.

"Here they come!" Cloud yelled to Tifa who now was looking over Cloud's shoulder to see three other wolfos running towards them.

"Finally it's playtime!" Tifa smiled while pushing herself up to stand on her feet behind Cloud.

Smiling to himself, Cloud shook his head before pushing the playbutton on his bike and their song 'Ridin'dirty' was bursting through the speakers.

Two fiends pushed themselves off of the ground and headed straight towards Cloud. Smiling he grabbed his sword and let it fly through the air like a boomerang. It sliced the fiends neatly in half before it returned towards its owners hand. Just after the sword had sliced the fiends, the last one had jumped high into the air and was heading towards Tifa. Grabbing Cloud's shoulders , Tifa pushed herself up and swung her legs fiercely through the air, hitting the fiend perfectly between its eyes. Coming back down, Tifa made a 'V'-shaped sign with her fingers and yelled "VICTORY".

Chuckling Cloud sped up his bike when he saw two other fiends heading towards them. One of them was clearly a gold element, knowing neither he or Tifa could hurt it with his sword or her combat skills, Cloud called up a watera spell and casted it towards the fiend. Tifa meanwhile had her eyes fixed on the flying bird.

Tapping Cloud's shoulder, she gave him the sign to make fenrir stop abruptly so she could fly through the air to knock it down. She knew those sons of bitches were way to fast to just kick them in the air. She had to speed herself up so it would be caught by surprise. Just when Cloud had casted the spell, he stopped fenrir, causing Tifa to fly through the air. The bird was just getting itself together after his partner had been hit by the spell when Tifa sold him a nasty right hook. Landing on her feet, Tifa smiled and looked towards Cloud who was sitting on his fenrir looking proudly towards the woman he loved.

Smiling, she started jogging towards fenrir. Reaching it her ears picked up some rustling leaves from their right. Looking towards the bushes and trees, both Tifa and Cloud saw a Chimera coming towards them.

"Oh boy …" Cloud mumbled while watching the three-headed beast walking towards them.

Cracking her knuckles, Tifa placed herself in a defending position. Cloud stepped off his fenrir with his trusted sword in hand. Placing himself before Tifa , he turned himself half towards her and looked her sternly into her eyes.

"I take this one, go to the others and stay there."

"No way! I'm not leaving you alone with this … this thing!" Tifa objected and placed herself next to him again.

"Teef! This thing is nasty! It's going to cast several spells on us which we can't protect ourselves from, now be a good wife and listen to your man." Cloud said before turning his attention towards the fiend in front of them.

"Well, then you have to read the wife-guide again because in the first chapter is written that wives never listen to men! And the second chapter says that there is absolutely no way a man can change a woman's mind ones it's been set up and in the third chapter it says that all men should just give up the fight and let the wife do her bidding." Tifa stated proudly before giving him a peck on his cheek.

Looking baffled, Cloud just stood there for a few seconds but was brought back to reality when the chimera roared loudly and swung it's large arm towards the two of them. Jumping over it the both of them landed perfectly on their feet again. Jumping into action, Cloud dashed forward to strike it with his sword, Tifa followed quickly and kicked one of its head right in its jaw. When they both stood side by side again, the chimera threw a fire ball towards them. Taking the blow, Tifa and Cloud both stumbled a few feet backwards.

"Teef? Are you okay?" Cloud yelled in panic when he had found his balance again.

"Yeah yeah I'm fine. Watch out!" Tifa screamed when she saw the fiend throwing his arm towards them again. Rolling towards the right, Cloud cursed under his breath when he took a hold of Tifa her arm to help her up.

When they were back on their feet they saw Aerith running towards them, with Zack and the rest of AVALANCHE close on her heels. She was yelling something towards them when suddenly Cloud felt a fire-protecting shield surrounding him. Looking confused he eyed Aerith with a questioning glanse.

Shrugging, Aerith came to stand behind him and spoke sweetly,

"I learned some protecting spells a few days ago, thought they might come in handy."

"Neat!" Tifa said smiling.

"Can you cast Lightning and water protection too?" Cloud asked looking hopefully.

"Yeah, why?"

"Because a Chimera always switches it's magic attacks from fire to water and lightning." Cloud explained.

"Oh, okay, just a sec." Aerith said before concentrating herself on casting the requested spells.

While Aerith was casting her spells, the rest of AVALANCHE started their fight against the Chimera. Tifa had jumped high into the air, to distract one of the heads away from the others. Both Cloud and Zack had taken their swords in hand and ran towards the fiend, slicing it at both sides at the same time.

"Goodie, fiiiiinally some aaaaction for meeeeeeee!" Yuffie sang and took a hold of her new daggers. Throwing them towards the fiends tail, they cut of the head which made it dissolve into nothing.

"Get piece'f this ya piece a shit!" Barret barked before shooting a rain of bullets towards the fiend. Taking down its arm, Barret cursed happily before making his way towards the fiend to retrieve Yuffie's daggers and throwing them back towards her. Catching them, she immediately threw them back, one of the heads hitting its straight in the eye. Seeing that, Tifa rushed back down and kicked the dagger deep into its head, killing it instantly.

Cloud and Zack both swung their swords at the same time, cutting the last head of its neck. After all heads were gone, and the fiend was defeated, the body and other parts dissolved into nothing, leaving an empty spot where it had been standing a few seconds ago.

Breathing heavily, Cloud looked around and found Tifa standing on the other side of the field. Catching his gaze, she smiled sweetly at him. Rushing towards her, Cloud opened his arms for her to fall into them. When he had her in his arms, he pulled her close to himself and inhaled deeply. Savoring and enjoying her sweet, sweaty scent. His fingers were cupping the back of her head, her hair strangling itself between them.

"Are you okay baby?" Cloud whispered in her ear.

"I'm fine, just a little hot … you?" Tifa asked him while nestling herself in the crook of his neck, enjoying the safe feeling his arms gave her.

"The same I guess. I'm sorry I couldn't prevent it from happening." Cloud whispered again while wrapping his arms tighter around her.

"Cloud … It's okay, I'm not made of wax." Tifa giggled.

"That's good, else there wouldn't have been anything left!"

"Idiot!" Tifa giggled again.

"Let's get out of here so I can take care of you, how does that sound?" Cloud asked when pulling himself away a little so he could see into her eyes.

"Mhm, that sounds wonderful, only one question though." Tifa asked looking playfully towards him while letting her fingers glide over his chest down towards the waist of his pants. Grabbing them, she pulled his waist closer towards hers and whispered in his ear,

"How exactly are you going to take care of me?"

"Aerith?" Zack yelled when he couldn't find her amongst the people surrounding him.

"Yeah?"

Then he saw her sitting down against a tree in the shade. Walking towards her, he bent down and sat himself down next to her. Nudging her shoulder with his, he smiled down at her when she looked up at him.

"Are you allright?" he asked her with concern in his voice. She looked kinda pale and normally she had this beautiful shade of pink covering her cheeks.

"You look kinda white right here." He said while stroking her left cheek, "and here." Stroking her other cheek gently with his rough fingers.

"It's fine, it's just hard to cast so many spells on such a short time. I just need to catch my breath." Aerith said with her sweet voice.

"You know, the next time I say to stay in the truck, you better stay in the truck."

Laughing, Aerith shook her head at him,

"And let my friends suffer when I could help them? No way!"

Breathing heavily, Zack rested his head against the tree and closed his eyes.

"Hey, I'm sorry okay? I just wanted to help."

"I know, I know, I wanted to go and help to but …" Not finishing his sentence, Zack looked back down towards the brown haired princess sitting next to him. Gently lifting his hand, he slowly brought it to cup her cheek. Carefully he watched her reaction towards his gesture. When she placed her own hand over his, she leaned into his palm and smiled up at him.

"But what?" she whispered at him, never breaking eye contact.

"I just … I can't … when you ran of like that, towards that fiend. I just got scared you know? I just … I don't want anything to happen to you … That's all." His eyes showed horror and … love.

"That's sweet of you Zack and I'm … I'm sorry if I scared you." Aerith apologized.

"It's okay."

The both of them had been closing in on each other slowly during their conversation and were only inches apart. Their lips were touching the others feathery-like when they heard a barking Barret.

"Leave the guy alone for one freaking second ya stupid ninja!" Barret yelled storming towards a frustrated looking ninja.

"It's none of yoooooour business ya big fathead!"

"Stop callin me that!" Barret barked when he stood in front of her.

"Ooooor what?" yuffie dared while poking her finger in his chest.

"What is with you two? A few minutes ago you two were fighting side by side and now you are all over each other? What the hell?" Reno came walking over towards them.

"SHUT IT!" Both Yuffie and Barret said at the same time.

Stopping a few feet away from them he looked at the duo in front of him.

"Don't ya dare to interfere with'us!" Barret barked.

"Yeaaaah! Staaay out of thiiis!" Yuffie yelled while pointing from herself to Barret and back again.

"Well said ninja!" Barret said looking proudly towards the tiny ninja in front of him.

"Yeaaaah!" Yuffie sang while jumping up to meet Barret's hand in the air.

"Ooookaaaay." Reno mumbled before turning around and walking towards Rude who was leaning against the truck with his trusted glasses positioned on his nose.

"Do you get them Rudie-boy?"

"No." was his simple reply, not moving an inch.

"Good, me neither! I thought I was going crazy!"

"I thought you already were?" Rude said before disappearing in the truck.

Raising both his eyebrows, Reno couldn't believe what he just heard!
