Chapter 25
My Dad the Space Hunter
"Do do do dooo.." Felicity sang as she washed dishes, "Oh Raguna!" she called out to him,
"Yes!?" he responded from the second floor,
"Can you please check on Leona?" Felicity asked, "And can you bring him down here? He needs to be fed!"
"I'm kind of busy!" Raguna responded,
"What are you doing?" Felicity questioned,
"I'm in the loo!" Raguna yelled back, "I'll be with you in a moment!"
"Fine." Felicity mumbled as she set the last plate down, then turned to Lucia, who was laying in on a rocker on top of the dinner table,
"Goo goo.." Lucia said as she extended her arms towards her mother,
"Oh Lucia." Felicity said, "Mommy is very busy right now, she can't pick you up!"
"I'm coming!" Raguna said as he walked down the stairs, holding his son, "Here we go!" he set him down on the table, "He's yours now!"
"Where are you going!?" Felicity yelled as the Earthmate was heading to the door,
"To Spring Rabbit to meet the guys." Raguna answered, "I told you yesterday..."
"Oh, Raguna." Felicity moaned, "I need you to help me around here! I'm very busy!"
"Come on..." Raguna groaned, "I don't have another chance to do this!"
"Raguna.. Please help me." Felicity mumbled, "I can't handle all this work by myself!"
"Ugh..." Raguna sighed, "Fine... What do you need me to do?"
"Can you please sweep the kitchen and the living room while I nurse the kids?" Felicity asked,
"Alright." Raguna muttered and went off to grab the broom.

"Time to land this bad boy!" the Spaceman said as he rode his Spaceship around Mount Gigant, making a daredevil turn around the peak to face his landing area, "YEEHA!" he yelled as he dove straight down.

"What the?" Lady Ann, who was taking a stroll by the river, said as she heard the booming roars of the spaceship engines nearby, "AHH!" she screamed in pain and covered her ears,
SHWWWEEEOOOOM! The thrusters screamed as the spaceship landed nearby, then, after a few extremely noisy seconds, there was silence, and a hiss from the spaceship, which released steam.
BEEP BEEP! It locked when the Spaceman clicked a device as he exited,
"Why that-" Lady Ann grumbled, quite upset by the noise, and stormed to confront the Earthman, "Hey! You!" she yelled in anger,
"Huh?" the Spaceman turned to the voice, and when he saw her, he stood still, "Woah..." he mumbled,
"Can you put a silence on that thing!?" Lady Ann complained, "it drives the whole town mad! It's so loud and obnoxious and drives everyone ins- Are you even listening to me?" she asked the man,
"Yeah.. Yeah.." the Spaceman said, quite dazzled by her looks, "Sure.. I'll put it on silent next time... So, what's your name." he took off his helmet and pushed back his hair.
"That is Lady Ann of the Kardia Inn, sir." Hudley responded as he scanned the woman's face, "She's 37 and has two kids, her marital status is not in our databanks if you wanted to know."
"Why.. What is that?" Lady Ann asked, "How did it know that about me?"
"That's Hudley." the Spaceman responded, "From HUD, which is a display program. SO.. Lady Ann is it?" he asked, "That's such a beautiful name."
"Oh stop it you." Lady Ann mumbled, "I don't even know your name..."
"My name is-"
"Father!" Ivan called out to him, "What are you up to?"
"Son..." The Spaceman groaned, "I was having a nice conversation with this beautiful lady- That was until you interrupted me."
"What?" Ivan said in disbelief, "That's Lady Ann!"
"I know." The Spaceman responded, "Now... Lady Ann." he turned to the brunette, "Is there a Mr. Ann or what?"
"What is going on?" Ivan mumbled as he saw the sight unfold,
"No, there is not." Lady Ann said in discomfort, "He... Passed.." she mumbled,
"Oh! I am so sorry!" the Spaceman said in empathy, "Please forgive me for getting on such a subject..."
"It's alright." Lady Ann responded,
"By the gods!" Ivan screamed and ran off.

"Raguna!" Ivan yelled as he stormed inside his brother's house,
"What is it!?" Raguna stood up in worry, "What happened!?"
"Father! Father!" Ivan stammered, "He's- He's-"
"Get out with it, man!" Raguan urged him, "What's wrong!?"
"He's hitting on Lady Ann!" Ivan blurted,
"Oh my God!" Raguna yelled in shock, the two brothers started to jump in panic.
"Hey! Hey!" Felicity came running down, "What is all this chaos!? I just put the babies to bed!"
"Felicity!" Raguna yelled, "My Dad! He's-He's..."
"What?!"
"Trying to hit on Lady Ann!" Ivan answered, and the two brothers once again entered hysteria.
"What is wrong with that!?" Felicity yelled over them, "If your dad wants to meet another woman, why should you worry!?"
"Because-" Ivan paused,
"You know..." Raguna mumbled, "I don't know... Maybe because it's weird seeing a dad date!"
"There's nothing weird about that!" Felicity grumbled, "Maybe your dad is just lonely after your mother's passing that he needs to fill that love in once more... The same goes with Lady Ann- Maybe the two are good for each other."
"Do you hear the words that are coming out of your mouth?" Ivan shook his head, and at that moment, the man of the hour walked in.
"Hey, Ivan." the Spaceman said, "What's wrong, why did you run off screaming like that?"
"You cannot date!" Raguna came up and said with authority,
"What?"
"We forbid you to date Lady Ann!" Ivan added,
"Oh?" the Spaceman said, "Really? And who's the father in this relationship? Also, you're too late. We're meeting in the library tomorrow."
"Dad! You can't!" Raguna pouted,
"Why not!?" the Spaceman asked in confusion, "It's my life!"
"But why would you want to forget mom?" Ivan asked,
"Hey!" the Spaceman yelled in anger, "I will never, ever forget Lucia! Don't you ever think that! I just want a companion to fill the hole I have in my heart."
"Ah ha!" Felicity said, "I told you!" she taunted the two brothers,
"I heard Lady Ann likes to eat onions..." Raguna growled, trying to prevent his father from dating,
"That's a lie." the Spaceman grumbled, "I think she's a nice person, we're both in the same condition... She's not that young.."
"How old are you, dad?" Ivan asked in curiosity,
"I'm 40!" the Spaceman said in discomfort, "40... ish... Age is just a number!" he growled,
"You're 42." Hudley answered,
"You shut up!" the Spaceman yelled, "Are you really gonna blab my age out like that?"
"You don't look 42.. That's for sure." Felicity smiled, "Relax!"
"It's the suit..." the Spaceman mumbled, "And my increased longevity... I can reach 200."
"Damn, are you an elf or something?" Raguna said, "Sheesh.. You'll outlive all of us!"

"So..." the Spaceman said as he and Lady Ann sat in a library table, "What kind of books do you like?"
"I mostly like mystery-romance." Lady Ann responded, "Anything that keeps both my mind and heart at its heels.."
"Uh huh..." the Spaceman mumbled,
"And you?"
"Well, I like action and adventure." the Spaceman answered, "Like there was this new story I was reading... It's from this planet... I think it was called Destiny of the Earthmates or something.. Yeah, I found it pretty cool."
"Oh yes!" Lady Ann said, "I've read that one! It's very thrilling! Another question... Why are your sons here?" she asked as she saw Raguna and Ivan sitting next to the Terran, with arms crossed and eyes narrow.
"You know what they say..." the Spaceman mumbled, "Kids.. They're with you till one of you goes." he chuckled.
