Guess what, guess what, guess what? I'm back! I'm officially off for Christmas Break as of yesterday afternoon and finally pulled out this fic to start back on it! So, here's more! I am officially pulling this fic off hiatus to finish it in the next couple months with updates every week or so. Before getting to the chapter, I'm almost at 10,000 views, which makes me so happy that people have still gone to read this story even though I fell off the wagon with it. Let's try and get this story to 10,000 views before I go back to school the first week of January. Think we can? I think so!
Without further delays, here's the chapter!
The next day, I stayed home from school since I was exhausted from letting Maud back into my head. It was almost noon before I woke up that afternoon, but I didn't mind when I found Tyler downstairs waiting for me to get up. "How're you feeling?" He asked, handing me a hot cup of coffee. "Better. I guess everybody's coming after school to talk about what I found out?" He nodded in response. "Well, the guys have practice and the girls will probably stay, so we have a little longer." I said, glancing at the clock on the stove.
"So what do you wanna do until then?" He asked, finishing his coffee and looking over at me. I shrugged my shoulders. "I'm so tired, I really just want to veg out for the rest of the day." I replied, looking at the bottom of my empty cup. "Just don't veg out completely, because then I'll be by myself." He chuckled, which made me punch him in the shoulder.
"No, Ty! Stop! No!" I screamed as I felt his hands reach over and his fingers dance over my stomach as he started to tickle me. "Sorry, you were mean. Pay back's a bitch." He said with a smile. I pushed up from the stool and leaned over to him, planting my lips on his to stop his tickling. "You cheat." He said as I pulled away. "It's a bitch." I muttered.
His hands slid over my stomach and wound around my waist, pulling me closer to him as he leaned closer and gently kissed me. "I thought you said I cheated?" I whispered, leaning away. "I did, but cheating isn't bad all the time." He said with a smirk. "Oh, says the one with the powers to do anything he wants." He laughed before he pulled me close again. "Shut up." He muttered before he kissed me hard on the lips.
As he moved down my neck planting kisses, I felt his hands hook under my knees, lifting me off the stool before he moved out of the kitchen. I had the vague awareness of him carrying me up stairs, but I didn't fully comprehend we had moved so far until my back touched my mattress. "I will say-" I gasped as he moved down my collarbone. "You work for what you want, Mr. Simms." His lips vibrated as he let out a chuckle. "I'll take that as a good thing." He muttered before he moved back up to my mouth, his hands sliding under my tank top and over my stomach, which sent shivers up my back.
"Definitely." I huffed out as he slid my tank top up and moved down to kiss my stomach and the skin over the top of my hips. My fingers tangled in his hair as I bit my lip, trying to hold back a gasp.
~AMC~~AMC~~AMC~~AMC~
"Who knew Shy Boy was like that when he's not around other people?" I asked with a smile, earning a chuckle from him as he peppered my shoulder with kisses. I looked over my shoulder and saw him smiling at me. "I hang out with Reid way too much." He replied, which had me burying my face in the pillow, holding back a fit of laughter. "That is the God's truth!" I said, rolling back over to face him.
"When you told us you would go to get tattoos a lot, I figured you'd have more." He said as I laid my head on his chest, his arm wrapping over my shoulder and drawing invisible symbols on my shoulder blade. "I got 'em kinda big and detailed that I went back for a couple times to get one done." I replied.
I thought back to the tattoos I had compared to the list. My back had about half my list. I called back the memory of the last time I was in a tattoo shop. The molecular shape for caffeine on my left ribs; a Claddagh with a triquetra inside the heart at the joint of my neck and my back with an equilibrium symbol and pisces zodiac symbol higher up on my neck closer to my hair line; an anatomical skull on my left shoulder blade; a lotus flower and clover on my right shoulder blade; a stack of books down the left side of my back; a barn owl on the right side; and a dream catcher down my spine between the books and owl.
"You sure you're okay?" Tyler suddenly asked, making me look back up at him. His eyes told me that he was scared and worried about me. "I'm fine, Ty." I said, running my fingers through his messy curls. "I'm just worried, especially with your and Reid's birthday coming up." He said, pulling me closer to him. "We'll be fine. I promise. If anything, it's my idiot brother you have to worry about with his Using." I told him, trying to get him to smile. He cracked a smile and let out a chuckle. "It's his fault. We've told him, but he doesn't listen. I think he's lightened up with you around, though." He told me. "Well then it looks like I'll have to stay around to keep him under control." I joked, pushing against his shoulder and straddling his waist.
"Is that the only reason?" He asked with a grin. "What other reasons would there be, Mr. Simms?" I asked, leaning down. "Maybe to keep me under control too?" He asked in a whisper. "We'll have to see about that." I muttered before he pulled my head down to kiss me. I guess he was still on a high like I was.
Guess what else? It's as double update! Haha! Enjoy the next chapter guys! You're all awesome!
