AN: I don't own D-gray man or Inuyasha

I'm sorry

I'm sorry I haven't updated so much and left you guys hanging for over a year or so without anything new. I apologize most for anyone who still cares or likes this story and would want to see more. I'm thankful if anyone is even reading this message. Really I am. But I guess I should tell you guys why I haven't updated in while. Now before anyone leaves and thinks: 'this is stupid I'm not reading this I know where's this is going' Please hear me out.

During the year of 2016 I was getting ready and doing my proper exams. Not only that but I was going to start a new school. So I decide for that year that I would take a break from fanfiction and focus on my studies and getting used to a new school. I hope you all can understand that but there's more I have to say. So please bear with me.

I lost my spark, my passion to write this story. It's not that I have writer's block. No, far from it actually. I know exactly what I want to do until the very end. I know what events I want to take place, the challenges the main heroes will take, even the final battle, everything. I know I'm not the best writer and this is probably not a very good story. But it's my first and I'm proud of what it has become even with all those annoying grammatical errors, some of the cheesy scenes and time line issues that can be fixed later. Mikoyasha is probably not the best written character but she's my first and will always have a place in my heart. I would love it that one day I will finish her tale but I'm sorry to say that won't happen for a long time.

I hate using the word HIATUS. It makes me think that this story is never coming back. Never have a proper ending. But I also hate it when writers don't speak to their readers that they're not going to do anymore and just stop updating all together. Now I know I'm being hypocrite since I kind of done the same thing but I swear to you guys I thought it I would return to this no problem. I didn't think that I would lose my will to write this. I don't know why. Is it because I got bored? Is it because I feel like no one care about this anymore? Maybe that's it. I don't even think anyone would bother to read this all. They might not even read to the every end in fear it's one of those dreaded AN where they say their ending the story. But this is not it. I will continue this story. I will get it done some day: even if no one cares, even if I lose favourite, follows whatever, even if no one will be willing to read this story anymore. I will get it done. For the sake of myself and for readers that do somewhat care. I promise you that I will continue but for now I'm taking a break from this story. In favour of my other two main projects: Never smiling princess and Assassins, Hitmen and an Octopus Oh My! I decided to focus on them mainly. Why? Because I'm having too much fun writing them and my best work happens when I'm having fun.

For those not in the know, Never smiling princess is a crossover fanfic between Assassination Classroom and Yu Yu Hakusho. It stars a new OC of mine Yuko Yukimura and she's a fun character to write about. I feel she's a better written character than Mikoyasha. She shows little to no emotions most of the time, can come off as cold but will be willing to help just in her own weird and extreme way and I think she's just overall more interesting. I was actually the first to come up with a crossover of these two animes so I don't think it's known well. Never the less, I'm having a blast writing out Yuko's tale as she interacts with the E class students. That and things have gotten pretty serious so I really don't what to stop. If you what to have a read then go right ahead. The first chapter isn't that interesting just some expostion but the rest are a lot of fun. If you haven't seen Assassination or Yu Yu Hakusho I highly suggest you do. They are two great and amazing anime that I adore.

As for Assassins, Hitmen and an Octopus oh my! It's a fanfic between Assassination classroom and Katekyo Hitman Reborn. It's basically about Tsuna, Gokudera and Yamamoto getting expelled and then transferred to E class at Kunugigaoka junior high. How will they cope in a class of trainee assassins while trying to kill their octopus teacher? You can read it to find out if you like. However, by the time I've posted this there's only one chapter out. However I can tell you for sure the next chapter will come out on Feb 12. Now I'm working with a friend for this. She's the reason why I've written this that and why I watched Katekyo Hitman Reborn at all. In the past I watched the first episode then dropped it imminently. Then she kept bugging me to continue and so I gave in and watch the whole thing. It's pretty good. Not my favour but a good anime none the less. I would recommend it but it will take 20 or so episode before it gets anywhere interesting. But I say it's worth it.

Finally, all I have to say is that I'm not giving up on this story. I refused to. I might have just wasted my time writing this message but oh well. If there even the slightest chance that someone would read this note then I'll post it. Now as a reward for reading this far, and proof that I will return to this someday, I will now present to you what I've done for the actual chapter. I hope you enjoy this little piece because since it finally introduces a character I've been keeping in the dark for a while. I don't know if anyone even remembers him but here he is:

Last time...

An armada of akuma threated to kill them all. However, with the combine hope of the people, Mikoyasha and her friends were able to defeat them. Then they saw quite a horrific display. They Earl was stuck down but not by their own but by the black hooded man who started this mayhem. Just who is he?

Her precious other half

Trumpet-horns played as the crowd grew anxious. Today was the day of the re-sighing of the pack to being. The lords and young lords were gathered as well as 8 high ranked officers of the Black Order. However, Shippo had to stand in for Mikoyasha since she was unable to attend. They stared each other down in lines of two. In pairs they walked up to the simple but professionally set table. Each pairs wrote their signature in the line to agree with the following: the demon world will remain a secret to all except for the members of the Order. Also if there is blood shed from either side those responsible shall be punished. In return the demon realm will give their support in anyway they can until the Noah is no more. Each person left their mark and bowed. "We look forward working with you."

The crowd cheered for joy. "So we'll be working with demons," a finder said nervously.

"Hey if they're anything like that Mikoyasha character I'm sure we'll be fine," another said.

"Speaking of Mikoyasha I heard she's still in a coma," one said worriedly. "I hope she's ok."

"Don't worry about her." Her exorcist friend Miranda assured them, "She's a lot tougher than she looks. I'm sure she'll be just fine."

As the event continued the hanyou in question slept soundly. Next to her was a sleeping swordsmen worried out of his mind. Ever since the incident in Barcelona he refused to leave her side. His thoughts were plagued by the images of that dark cloaked character. Who is he? What is he? And why did he want Mikoyasha? These thoughts become twisted nightmares he can never escape. He saw the darkness spread throughout the world and destroyed all light. There was nothing left but the skeletons of his commanders. The events were sometimes change. His friends were casted in a realm of shadows. He was killed multiple of times or something more sinister. But they all ended the same. The man took the miko away in his realm of darkness and did whatever he wanted with her. "No!" smash! The dream disappeared to nothing. There was only darkness around him.

Then a light shone behind him. "Hey," greeted a familiar voice.

Kanda turned. "Aramitama," he said quite happily.

"Yo," he greeted again. "Still having nightmares?"

"Yeah. They keep getting worst."

"Then don't have them."

"I can't."

"Sure you can just don't worry so much." Kanda augured back but Aramitama stopped him. "You can't do anything right if you worry. So don't. This will all end one way or another."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Because I believe," he replied with a smile under that mask of his, "So long as theirs hope there will be a way." He placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. "I may not be able to create a body and help you in battle but can still guide and give you advice when I can. Right now I think you should stop worrying and get on with life." He grabbed him closer and hugged him tight. "That and you look like you need a hug." Kanda accepted it with no arguments. That's when a shock came through the angel's body. "Something's up."

Miranda and Krory were happily chatting until Chi-rin called out to her. "Hey Miranda."

"Chi-rin?" she whispered and looked around. "Where are you?"

"Oh right you're new to this whole thing. Well let me fully introduce myself. I'm Chi-rin a furure teller as well as your guardian angel."

"So you were the butterfly?"

"Yup," she said happily. "It's one of the forms I can appear it as well as human but ever since that battle I'm not able to use those forms." Miranda nodded in understanding but her face showed some fear and confusion. Her angel giggled at her expression but he look soon turned serious, "Oh the way I'm here to warn you something is going to happen. I don't know what it is but it's something big. A great change is coming."

A change? Allen questioned as he had a similar conversation with his angel in his head. What sort of change?

"I'm not sure if it's good or bad," Kio replied, "But it's coming soon and through the front door no less."

Allen's eyes widen as he gaped. And so he slipped through the crowd and ran off to the entrance way. Miranda did the same brought Krory along with them. They soon bumped into Allen. He boy looked up at them with a serious expression. "You heard?"

She nodded with an equally firm face, "yeah."

"What's going on?" asked the clueless vampire. Sadly then never gave him answer as they told him there was no time to explain.

Then Kanda dropped in. "I'm guessing they told you to guys too?" Miranda and Allen nodded and so together raced to the entrance. A great change was coming but the question is what? The waited until the door slowly opened up. They prepared themselves for battle just in case something was going to happen. Although, since Krory didn't really understood what was happening, he just glance at his friends completely confused. In their minds, the door appeared to be slower than usual. They gulped down their fears and told themselves they'll be really for anything. When the door did finally opened they weren't ready for this.

"Don't just stand there help us out!" Lavi yelled. He and Lenalee were dragging in a beaten up body. It was a young man in baggy clothes. They were the colour of charcoal much like his long spiked pony tail and had painted red lines that spiralled round the limbs. They rushed to help.

"What happen?" Allen asked shocked about this unexpected development.

"I don't know. We found him in the bottom of the chasm. He must have not seen the edge and fallen off," Lenalee said worried. "I hope he's ok."

As fast as they possibly could they get the man in bed and examined his body. He had bruises and scares all over his skin, some of them pretty old, and his left arm appeared to be broken. They rapped the arm up and tended to his other wounds. After further examination they noticed two stand out features. A pair of sliver dog ears and a blue crescent moon on his forehead. Lavi gazed at his ears almost tempted to touch them. "Those ears look just like Miko's," he commented.

However, Miranda was more focused on his forehead. She knew that mark well. They all do. "And that mark looks a lot like Sesshomaru's," she pointed out.

Krory though for a while as he squinted his eyes, "He kind of looks familiar."

"He does?" They questioned him.

"Yeah but I don't know why." He thought harder as he tried to scratch up the memories, "I can't put my finger on it."

Soon there was a groan and the man's eyes twitched a long with his animal like ears. They opened to reveal a pair of golden eyes. "Where the f**** am I?"

Lenalee greeted him with an awkwardly sweet smile. She though it would be best to excuse his language for now. After all he must be so confused. "You're in the Black Order sir. Are you ok?"

Slowly, he sat up. "Yeah I'm fine. Huh?" He then noticed they crowd around him. "Who the f****ing hell are you? And what's with the skimpy skirt?" he asked. Lenalee looked at her skirt and didn't think it was that short. Was it? "What are you a prostitute?" he said with no shame.

The exorcists paled and grew silent. "Miranda, what's a prostitute?" Krory wondered.

"You don't need to know!" she screamed in panic.

"Is my skirt really that short?" Lenalee shirked as she tried to pull the fabric drown embarrassed.

"Don't you dare say that to Lenalee!" Allen yelled as he deafened her with his body.

The boy humph and lifted his chin up in a smug way. "Said the guy with a cursed eye. How did you get that? Cheat on a witch?" Their mouths further dropped as they continued down the road of depression and shock. "And seeing how protective you are a guess you cheated with that prostitute."

Allen blushed, "I did no such thing!"

"Sure you didn't," the man said sarcastically as he rolled his eye. Not wanting to stick around, he jumped off the bed and raced out but his was blocked by Levi.

"You can't say that to my friend!"

"Too bad pirate redhead." The rude man hopped on his face and jump off as if he was a diving board. He turned and saluted a two finger salute using his unbroken arm. "Later mother f******'s!" With that he raced down the hallway.

"Get back here!" The angry mob followed.

The man cursed to himself as he ran down the stairs as he held his broken arm. Lenalee flew above him to catch him faster. He smirked. "So you can fly Miss prostitute. A bet you love the fact everyone can see under that mini skirt while you're up there. Don't you?" Lenalee became bright red. She screamed and came crashing down with her leg tight together while pulling down her skirt down. "Sucker." The next thing he knew a massive armoured hand grabbed him. The man turned to see the cursed boy. He laughed, "So what you got your arm cursed too. How did you do that? Impregnate the prostitute?"

Allen boiled red, "I did no such thing."

His grip loosed and the man used it as chance to escape before another attack hit. Skilfully, he dodged the blade coming at him and so the swordsman missed and hit Allen instead. Allen screamed in pain as his hand defored back to normal. He held it close and rubbed it trying to smooth the pain. But nothing would be more painfull than another trip to seeing Komui again after this. The though alone was more than frightening. While he was crying in fear and pain, the man jumped on to Kanda's head and leaped forward out of reach . "Out of the way pretty boy!"

With a growled of annoyance Kanda yelled, "Hey get back here!"

"Kanda that hurt," Allen winced.

Kanda looked back at him apologetically, "Oh Sorry about that." He really had no idea what else to say.

The man escaped with a wicked laugh. "You can't catch me losers!" he yelled as he ran down the stair case.

"Want to bet," said a duo of voices. Down the ramp came sliding down Krory and Miranda. They jumped on the shocked man and rolled down the stairs. As they made there's way down the others dropped into the mix and fought in a dusk cloud.

The noise was so great they awaken the miko. She yawned and winced as the shock of pain. She wrapped an arm around her stomach. "It still hurts," she moaned. Soon her black ears twitched at the loud ruckus. "What is that?" She slowly made out of bed and walked to where the noise was coming from.

"That's it!" she heard a male yelled. She looked down and saw something strangely familiar. Her eyes widen as she held her breath. Could her eyes be deceiving her? Is this a dream? Such thoughts raced in her head as she watched. "Shadow tentacles!" the man yelled as the shadows around him formed octopus like tentacle that captured her friends in a tight grip. "Ha ha didn't see that one coming did you…" His words silence as he looked up. His golden eyes gazed into her's. They were lost in each other's gaze.

"What's going on here!" Sesshomaru yelled as he slammed the door open and froze at the sight.

The Miko's spirit companions walked by looking really tried and for some reason they had bed heads. "What's going on here…" Magatsuhi jumped in surprise at the sight. "Is that?"

"It can't be," Midoriko whispered.

"But it has to be," said Tenseiga with a wide smile.

The man's shadow tentacles dropped the exorcists then disappeared in the ground. "It's been awhile," he said with a happy grin as he lifted up his unbroken arm to her, "Sister."

Her eyes widen and shored in joy as she grinned ear to ear. "Inu-kage," she cheered as she jumped of the railing and in to his arms.

"Hey don't do that damn you," he complained with pure joy in his face. Although he did twitched in pain a bit as he held one of his arms, "I think my arm's broken."

She held him tightly, carefully avoiding his injured arm, and cried tears of joy, "I'm just so happy."

"Inu!" the other young lords jumped on top of him.

"Where have you been man?" The dragon asked as he gave him a noogie.

"I was on one of those soul searching journeys," groaned the mildly annoyed dog.

"For the last few centuries? Yeah right," the cat laughed unbelieving but happy.

"Yeah." the bird shoved him into her oversize chest. "Don't you miss us?"

"Get your tits off my face b****!" he yelled, "Dang you guys really haven't changed."

Confusion grew as a crowd formed around them. Mikoyasha stepped forward, "Oh right you all don't know." She gestured to the dog eared man, "This is Inu-kage my twin brother."

"Twin!"

Krory banged his fist in his palm. "Now I remember he's the young boy from the photo. You know the one we saw in that photo album the young demon lords got for Mikoyasha's birthday?" Those who understood what he was talking about nodded in realisation.

Those who didn't yelled: "You have a twin!" or "You don't look anything alike!"

"Just because were twins doesn't mean we have to be identical," they said in perfect sync. They laughed together.

A dark presents snuck up behind Inu-kage. Strong arms gripped around him in an air tight grip. "Never worry me like that again young one," warned a deep threatening voice.

"Yes uncle," he swore short of breath. "Now will you please let go I think I see a light." Eventually, the lord let go of the suffocating male and he dropped to the floor. He glared at his uncle. "Was that really necessary?" He then noticed his hair was a tad bit smaller and questioned it bluntly.

The lord nodded as he stroked his shortens hair, "Yes, it is and you have your sister to thank for that." He pointed to the young miko. "She has completed all the trails."

His eyes sparkled. "Really? That's great." He hooked on to his twin and ruffled her hair roughly, "Way to go sis! I think you deserve a prize." He scrimmaged for something underneath his robes. Then he took out a shimmering blue medallion in the shape of a six pointed sun. It looked much like Mikoyasha's demonic mark only blue. "Here take it."

Mikoyasha was speechless as she took the item. "My medallion. I thought I lost it."

"Inu!" Shippo saddened appeared between them. "You were the one who stole the medallion. We've been looking all over for that!" Playfully, he knocked his little brother on the head. "You could have at least told us before disappearing and what not." The fox pinched his little brother's cheeks as stretched the out so much it looked like they were made of rubber. "You're big brother has been worried stick about you for all these centuries. Why the hell didn't you call us? I was beginning to think you died too!"

"Will you just get the hell off of me! This fricken hurts damn you!" Inu-kage was able to yell although his speech was slightly distorted with his mouth being stretched to his limits. Eventually Shippo let go of his face. Rubbing his pained cheeks Inu-kage growled at the fox, "The f****ing hell man was that for? It's not like I wanted to make you guys worry it's just I wanted some time to myself! I mean for all these centuries I thought…" he words were lost as his anger melted away and was replaced with a type of suddenness. His head dropped as he clenched his fist tight. "Damn these emotions. Why must they be so stupidly complicated."

Lavi leaned to the side wondering what's with the change of attitude. It was then he saw something he thought was rather unusual. "Hey, dude, are you crying?"

"So what if I am!" he screamed at the redhead now lifted up to show off his tear stained eyes. "Real men shouldn't be ashamed of showing emotions! You got a problem with that you f****ing pirate!"

"Hey! Just because I have an eye patch that doses mean I'm a pirate!"

"Why don't you just go screw yourself and leave me the damn hell alone!" The two of them were going to go at it with each other if it wasn't for someone interrupted them.

"Inu!" He soon felt a calming warmth over his back as gentle arms wrapped around his waist. He turned his head and spotted his dear sister close to tears as well. "It's ok I'm here," she reassured him tightening her grip as if telling him she real. "I'm so happy. You're ok. For a while I was beginning to think you were gone too. Thank the gods you're alive," her voice got weaker and weaker as she spoke.

"Miko," Inu-kage whispered. He couldn't help it anymore especially seeing his sister like this and so he twisted his body around and held her in a tight embrace. "I'm so glad it turned out to be a lie. I'm so glad that you're alive," he cried as he barried his face into her shoulder.

Mikoyasha did the same only it was slightly more difficult for her since her brother seemed to have out grown her by a few inches. "I'm glade too," she wept. The two of them shared this intimated moment . No one dared interfere and instead watched on at a distance their hearts felt enlightened. Mikoyasha rubbed her face on her brother's shoulder enhaleing his almost forgotten sent. Soon she opened her mouth and sang: "You're my moon."

Inu-kage's ears twitched at the familiar at her lyrics. A smile appeared across his face and he lifted his head up to face her. "And you're my sun," he sang in responded.

They looked into each other's eyes deeply as they sang the next line together: "And I hope to see you soon because you're my precious one ~"

" You're the moon light in my night."

"And you're the sun light in my life."

"You're the moon that guides my way."

"And you're the sun that chases the clouds of grey."

"Oh-oh~ You're my precious other half~" they ended together. The crowed clapped at their sweet little performance. However they took no hid to them. It was like they were the only ones in the hall. All the twins could see were each other.

Inu-kage smiled brightly at his sister as he presented her a crimson red crescent moon medallion at was wrapped around his neck. He held it out to her and said, "We're like pieces of a puzzle."

Mikoyasha could help but smile at his actions. And so she copied his action and held out her sun medallion close to his moon. "And we're destined to be together."

"Now and for eternity," they chanted together as they connected to two medallions. They were a perfect fit as if they were made for each other. The twins leaned into and touched foreheads. They stared as each other lovingly as they said: "I love you my precious other half."

"Awe," went the crowd. No other word can describe their feelings for this.

Inu-kage let go of his sister and scuffed up her hair. "So when's the coronation?"

She smiled at him, "As soon as we are done with the battle in this world." Inu-kage stopped and looked at her questionably.

Kmuoi stepped forward, "Allow me to explain. A grave evil lurks in the shadows of our world and although their leader is no more they will no doubt try to get back on us. Thankfully, you're demon leaders have agreed to help us in this crisis by resigning the pack with our…"

"Wait what." The new hanyou hissed bitterly. "Resigning the pack after what they've done. Are you f****ing stupid?" He screamed at the top of his lugs. His knuckles turned white as he clutched them tight. "They don't deserve our help," he spat, "There's no way we can ever trust them again!" He stormed off.

"Inu!" His sister yelled as he chased after him. The other young lords followed screaming his name. The lords bowed and ran after their children.

Silence loomed until Lavi broke it. "Wow he must be bitter. Could it be because of what has happed last time this pack happened?"

Miranda nodded. "That has to be it." She remembered the story she was told about what happened in the past that caused such a rip between demons and humans. "The scars of the past must run deep. After all most of demon world believed that humans killed Mikoyasha one of their young leaders. It's a miracle that she and the other young lords were able to convince the other lords to help us in the first place after everything that happened in the past."

The others nodded. "But there has to be a way to make him feel better. Maybe if we contact with him in a positive way he'll be able to trust us," Allen suggested. "But what can we do?"

"Well he likes art," Krory announced, "Remembered all those paintings he made. Maybe we can contact with in an artist way. But who can do that?"

Kanda coughed. "I have someone in mind," he said as he eyed his old team mates. "He's a bit of a weirdo."

Daisya joined in with a grin, "But he's not bad for an old timer."

Marie rose behind them, "And his one of the Order's best generals." They all knew who it was at that point.

AN: And so this ends. I will post the full chapter when I return. Although I have a feeling that whenever I return it will be a really long chapter. I have big plans. Any how I do surprisingly have reviews. Haven't have any of them for this story for a while. I'm thankful.
