Hey everyone, it's me and it's time for an update. I know I left you all in a cliffhanger because I had to. So now it's time for the ultimate battle. Hulk vs. Abomination. Who will win? Oh and to XShinkuKikinX, the reason why I chose Cole is because of two reasons, one he's strong and can have anger issues like the Hulk, and two is in this chapter if you see it. Chapter 24: Hulk Smash!
*Citizens screamed. Fires blazed. Shouts from the second Hulk filled the air as he caused destruction like all Underworld broke loose. Cole slowly climbed out of the rubble unscathed with as so much a torn shirt and the dark purple pants Betty gave him. He may have no control of his body from past experiences, but this time, he felt he had control. He turned to Blolasky's direction to cross his arms and stretched them out to roar the loudest like a lion almost. A challenging call.
Blolasky stopped on his tracks and turned on his heels to smirk. "Hulk." he growled and started heading for him.
Cole glared at him as he torn the remaining of his shirt off like it was wrapping paper on Christmas and rolled his shoulders. Blolasky growled and started sprinting towards him. Cars either flipped or burst into flames because of his new powers and the earth ninja saw the threat and started sprinting as well. Both the Hulk and Abomination sprinted down the middle of the road while citizens screamed and moved aside and jumped to spear each other. But Blolasky was more powerful to grab Cole in the air to make a loud eruption like breaking the sound barrier and both rolled on the ground and he threw Cole across the road.
The black ninja was tossed like he was a ragdoll and broke through a bus and bounced on the hard ground until he stopped rolling. He tried to stand on his feet, but felt woozy to stand and fell to one knee. It was almost like fighting his doppelganger at Darkly's Boarding School for Bad Boys when Garmadon made clones, but was much stronger than equal. He could see the lieutenant walking through the wreckage with the metal bending under his foot and the flames never bothered him. He chuckled while taunting him. "Come on!" he challenged.
Cole looked away to see a vehicle next to him and shouted as he drove his fist through the center and ripped it apart. Blolasky growled and ran towards him. The earth ninja saw him barreling through the streets and slipped his massive hands through the makeshift boxing gloves from the car and shouted.
He swung the first punch to him abdomen to make him flinch and swung again. He came around to strike his back from behind. Parts and pieces scattered after each strike on the second Hulk. Cole lost the first half of his car and tripped Blolasky to the pavement to tower over him and threw punches until he was making a crater in the asphalt and there nothing left of his other half. He tossed it aside and grabbed Blolasky by his ribs and struck a punch to his jaw. The lieutenant spat out. "Is that all you got!?" he barked. Cole drew another fist back to deliver another blow until Blolasky used both legs to kick Cole through a building.
Abomination recovered and ran to the building and jumped. He dug his massive fingers into the brick and climbed up to the fifth floor to observe the damage in the hole. He smirked as he kicked the Hulk clear through the next building behind it. But was unaware of a Special Forces helicarrier behind him.
Ross walked over to the soldier posted at the sentry gun on the right side of the carrier. "Use that thing and give him some cover fire, soldier!" he barked the orders over his shoulder while pointing at his old lieutenant.
The soldier looked at the general confused. "Which one?" he asked between the two Hulks.
The general looked at him, slightly annoyed. But couldn't blame him for there were two large giants fighting each other. "Help the green one, dammit!" he shouted, his voice booming over the rotor blades above them. "Which one you think cut the other in half." The soldier nodded and pressed the trigger to have the barrels rotate and fired.
Blolasky felt something strike his back and growled as he turned to the carrier. "Ross!" he grumbled and climbed up to the roof. He turned to see if the helicarrier was ascending with a spotlight on him and ran as he was being shot.
Cole laid on a dumpster that was crushed underneath him and looked up to see Blolasky on the rooftops with Ross' helicarrier following him. He growled and jumped up onto the wall to dig his fingers into the bricks and scaled up the wall like he was mountain climbing with the bricks broken by him and launched himself to the building behind him and climbed to the rooftop. Inside the helicarrier, he could Betty clutched onto a strap as she saw Cole running after Blolasky. The lieutenant hid behind an exhaust vent and looked over the corner to see the carrier hovering close and revealed himself to charge at the general and jumped. Cole shouted and sprinted after him and used the exhaust vent as an advantage to jump and grabbed his leg to pull him down, but Blolasky was quick and grabbed the wheel in the landing gear.
The pilots gripped onto their joysticks while having alarms blaring from the sudden weight. "We're losing altitude and have too much weight!" the first pilot shouted. "Hang on!"
Betty and the Ninja gripped onto their seats while clutching onto the straps that hung overhead. Lucas grabbed his cousin and pulled him into his lap and wrapped a protective arm around him while the small ninja held onto him tightly. Kai saw what he was doing and pulled Laurie closer to him and took one of the straps to wrap it around her and the wind ninja held to the fire ninja tightly like her brother was. Nya clutched onto Jay tightly and buried her face into his gi as she was scared while he held her tightly and to the overhead straps. And Zane planted his feet firmly while grasping a strap as the helicarrier was losing control. All were scared as the fight was literally underneath their feet.
Cole reached up to throw punches into Blolasky's ribs and back as he climbed up from his legs. He reached up to dig his beefy fingers into his spine and twisted. Bones cracked by the strength. Blolasky cried out in pain and swung his elbow to knock Cole off and struck him in the jaw. Cole felt his grip loosen and fell, but quickly grabbed onto the spiked bone of his ankle and held on.
The two pilots held on as the helicarrier was losing altitude to their weight. The carrier suddenly turned and the rudder blades struck a neon sign. Everyone was projected from their seats and laid in a heap on the floor. "We lost our rudder!" the second pilot shouted. "We're losing control and are going down!"
Cole and Blolasky held on tightly as the helicarrier spun out of control with them swinging around. The earth ninja refused to release his grip and shouted in pain after barreling through a water tower on a roof, but kept a tight grip on him. Blolasky tried to shake him off and both could see ahead where they were descending towards. An empty lot with remains of a building that was demolished with stone pillars and parts of the stone wall intact. Must've been an old museum.
The Ninja of Earth knew they were going to crash land if he and Blolasky didn't break loose. But the lieutenant kept a strong grip to pull the carrier down with its passengers aboard. The Hulk knew his family was going to get hurt or worse if he failed to remove Blolasky from the landing gear. Hopefully it'll give them a little altitude before landing and preventing less damage and harm to them. Cole started to feel dizzy but kept striking punches into Abomination's ribs to loosen him hopefully.
Alarms blared inside as the pilots tried to gain control, but couldn't. There wasn't any hope when they're about to crash. "Brace for impact!" the general shouted. Betty felt her grip loosen and screamed as she slid down the aisle with the Ninja screaming and sliding down with her as the carrier spun more hazardously.
Cole felt his feet collide with the rough, dirt ground and lost his grip to roll on the ground with the helicarrier falling over him. Blolasky was late as the carrier crashed and was caught underneath and was crushed. The helicarrier crashed and slid on the ground with sparks from metal grinding on the ground trailing behind and received puncture dents and the rotor blades broke off. Friction finally took hold to stop the carrier as the engine slowly whined. All was silent.
Lights flickered as power kept passing through in short periods of time. Static from the radio filled the air as the transmitters were ruined. A girl groaned as she opened her frightened eyes to prompt herself up slowly with fresh waves of pain washing her. She gazed around and noticed both pilots were unconscious as well as the gunner. She kept turning her head to hear multiple groans and watched the Ninja were waking up with as so much scrapes and cuts with blood caking on their heads or faces. She heard a deep groan underneath her and looked down to gasp she was on her father. "Dad?" she breathed, believing it was the first time she has ever called him that without spiteful in her voice.
The general groaned while holding his head, but felt sore to everything. He could feel his hand was warm and sticky and felt a thin line cascade down his cheek. "Betty." he groaned.
The raven-haired girl was scared for her father and gently grabbed onto his arms and noticed a gloved hand on his arms too. She looked up to see it was Zane and nodded to his help. "Come on." she said. "Let's get you to your feet." and softly began to pull him up.
Cole groaned and prompt himself to his elbows to gaze at the wreckage of the fallen helicarrier. He could see the damage it has taken and thought of the passengers inside. Kai, Jay, Zane, Nya, Lucas, Laurie, Lloyd, and even Betty were all inside there. Even were the general and his small team. He couldn't tell if anyone survived or not. He felt like he failed to protect his team. Especially with his Hulk form. He looked away from the carrier to sigh.
Suddenly, Blolasky sprung out to hop onto the wreckage to cause the unknown passengers inside to become startled. The lieutenant deeply chuckled while feeling his broken vertebrae realign themselves and wiped sickly green blood off his lips to smirk at Cole. The earth ninja looked at the Abomination to growl for what has happened to his family and Betty. It wasn't his fault. It was Blolasky's. Cole quickly jumped to his feet and charged at the lieutenant while he jumped off and charged too. The Ninja of Earth took the punch and flew to the stone wall and was pinned as Blolasky used his beefy forearm against his throat; strangling him.
Cole struggled to remove his arm to breathe, but no matter how much he pried the arm would still pin him. He continued to struggle but had no anvil as Abomination was much stronger than he was. He started to feel lightheaded like he was being squeezed by a Constrictai, like Skalidor in the Constrictai tomb. With quick thinking, Cole drove his left knee in Blolasky's ribs and felt his grip loosen. He then threw punches at him, but the lieutenant quickly recovered and pinned against the wall. "You don't deserve to have this power." he growled while Cole struggled. "Not once you're dead!" and drove his spiked elbow into the black ninja's pectoral muscle over his heart. And Cole cried out in pain.
Betty used her foot to kick the small flap of the door out and carefully peered out of the carrier. She heard something was leaking quickly by gallons and turned to gasp. The fuel from the carrier's storage tank was leaking with sparks from wire exposure over it. One spark could ignite the fuel and spread to the tank to create a combustion to destroy the carrier with its passengers. To that, the raven-haired girl began to panic.
Cole struggled to remove the cartilage weapon from his chest and managed to little by little. He could see his torn muscle with green blood dripping out but felt tremors of pain as the bone spike kept penetrating closer. He looked up to see Betty at the door, scared and alive. He couldn't believe it. She and his family and her father survived. He now felt his green eyes glowing brighter and new energy coursing his veins.
The black ninja could feel his anger growing stronger and grabbed Blolasky's arm and slowly twisted it and pushed it away. He grabbed his other arm and slowly pushed away. Both Hulks shouted in anger as the lieutenant struggled to kill Cole against his new strength and the earth ninja threw his head against his chest to push him away. The Ninja of Earth grabbed his shoulders and lower back and dragged him to crash his head into the stone wall and slumped to the ground. Cole was breathing and quickly turned to the wreckage.
A small spark touched the pouring fuel and ignited it to flames. The fire trailed up to the tank and soon the entire carrier was engulfed in a blaze. Cole shouted as he ran to the blaze and stopped to clap his massive hands. It sounded like thunder clapping and everyone fell to the floor as strong gust of wind struck the carrier and extinguish the fire. Cole saved everyone from death.
Betty looked of the door with everyone behind her to see Cole with a small smile. But it soon disappeared as she looked behind him to see her old teacher with a chain of massive links with concrete blocks swinging them behind him. "Look out!" she screamed.
Cole turned around too late to see the chains striking him in the jaw and was swung off his feet. Blolasky chuckled darkly and tugged the chain to bring in more length and swung it over his head at Cole again. The earth ninja got to his feet but felt the concrete slabs striking him again to roll in front of the carrier. He struggled to pull himself up, but slumped. The lieutenant brought the chains together to make the slabs collide and looked at the carrier to see its passengers climb out and all were scared to his appearence. "General!" he smirked and swung the chains around to knock over the carrier. Everyone yelped in surprise to the close attack and Cole was scared. "Any last words?!" and swung the chains over his head and foot up to deliver the final blow.
Cole growled and quickly jumped to his feet and raised both of his fists over his head. "Hulk!" he shouted. Everyone stood amazed to what they heard from him. He could speak. "Smash!" and brought both hands down in the ground. His strength caused a small earthquake with a long crack running on the ground and head for the lieutenant's leg as he took the step. Blolasky felt unbalanced and the chain was freed from his grasp to look up and both slabs fell on his head to stun him. Cole shouted as he ran toward him and snatched the chain from the ground and ran behind him to loop the links around his throat.
Everyone watched as Cole pulled the chains around Blolasky's throat while the lieutenant struggled to escape. Cole felt his hand reaching for his face to claw for his freedom and quickly grabbed the bone spike and wretched it from his elbow and drove it into his chest like it was a stake. Both Hulks struggled as Cole was being dragged but quickly retaliated and gain a chance to lock the chain around his throat and pulled to hear him gasping. Betty watched in fear as Cole was strangling him without mercy. Cole shouted as he felt his powers take hold to choke him harder and pulled. "Stop!" he heard Betty shout and looked at her.
He could see her scared, reddened face and loosened his strength on the chains to the winded lieutenant. He could see himself as everything in his form, but not a murderer. He released the chains while Blolasky tried to recover but was weak to do so, he could barely even breathe. Cole slammed his right foot on his chest to pin and jerked his left arm to hear bones break underneath him. He screamed to the top of his lungs and longest to show his victory over Abomination while Blolasky's head fell.
Hulk has won.
All were silent. The Ninja. Betty. The gathering crowd witnessing it all with the police keeping them at bay. They were silent and Ross simply lowered Samuel's weapon as it was aimed at Cole; stand down. The earth ninja looked at the general to huff and used his foot to punt Blolasky's body gently over to the general. Ross was stunned.
Betty slowly walked up to Cole while he turned to her and slowly relaxed. She began to cry happily to see him alive. Like when she visited him at the hospital after his sacrifice. She smiled and cried. "It's alright." she said to him with tears flowing down.
Cole looked at the crying girl and carefully brushed her cheek with a finger to catch the miniscule drop. "Bet-ty." he said in his deep voice and slowly felt himself shrinking. Steam evaporated from his skin with green liquid escaping from his pores and drip into the ground. His skin and body began to return to its normal state with his skin changing to its tan color and thick body turning back to his already muscular body. He opened his eyes to reveal amber irises and not the green orbs. Betty was amazed by his quick transformation and turned to Blolasky to see the same green liquid escape his body too, but barely moving and turned back to Cole. He was normal. "I love you." he said as he brushed her bangs and fell to the ground with his world turning black.
Yes, Cole has won! Abomination has been defeated. What did you all think? Was it exciting to have you all othe edge of your seats!? But I'm sadly to say that this story is almost over. Next week is the epilogue. But hey, it's one more chapter of Cole.
