the exams begin
Sora pulled Naruto and Yota along as they ran into her house barley kicking off their shoes as she pulled them along
"Sora can you please explain what you're so worried about" Yota asked the shimura girl who ignored them and continued to drag the two boys into her bedroom once there Sora rushed over to her desk and started frantically searching through papers "where is it"
"Sora will you please tell us what you're looking for" Naruto asked "a book Yui gave me" Sora said without even looking back at Naruto "Ah ha I found it" Sora held up a brown book "a bingo book we have those two" Yota said
"those are Konoha Bingo books and they're out of date if you and I have bounties Yota Kun but this one is an Iwa bingo book" Sora explined while turning pages mumbling names 'Hiashi Hyuga Inoshikacho Mei Terumi Kurokaminari no Darui Sharingan No Kakashi' and various others "ah ha I found him" Sora held the book to Yota onthe page was a picture of Gaara

Yota clenched his fist "Naruto you know who he's like right" Naruto nodded "yeah he's another Orochimaru"
in the Hokage tower Minato a large group of Jonin and Chunin had been gathered sitting on either side of Minato were Sarutobi or Danzo "as you know it is the eleventh month of the year which means that the bianual chunin exams are about to begin" Minato said to his gathered ninja "and this time it is Konoha's turn to host them let us begin the nominations Kurenai Asuma Kakashi Shinji step forward"
the four named Jonin stepped forward each was held in great renown for their deeds and achievements in their careers but the reason the Hokage summoned them first was because they were the sensei' for the rookie shinobi
"If you feel that your genin have a strong chance to become chunin then recommend them if not no one will think less of you as a teacher shinobi or citizen of Konoha" Sarutobi said Guy nodded he had waited a year before even thinking of recommending his team
"Hokage Sama I Kakashi Hatake teacher of Sasuke Uchiha Sakura Haruno and Tobio I nominate all three for the chunin exams" Kakashi said before stepping back into line
"Hokage Sama I Kurenai Yuhi Jonin sensei of Kiba Inuzuka Hinata Hyuga and Shino Aburame I nominate these three for the chunin exam"
Asuma nodded and then stepped forward "I Asuma Sarutobi student of the fourteenth Inoshikacho formation nominate all three for the chunin exams"
Shinji then stepped forward "Shushi wa seichō shi, hatsuga shi hajimete iru Hokage Sama I Senju Shinji teacher of Sora Shimura Yota Tenko and Naruto Namikaze I recommend my three genin for the chunin exams"
"incredible rookie teams are participating in the exams" a jonin said "I know it hasn't happened in five years" another said
"Hokage Sama if I may" Iruka said stepping forward Minato nodded "Thank you sir four months ago the twelve mentioned were my students in the academy I know them and I belive that they could get hurt or worse in these exams"
"True enough" Shinji said Iruka looked at his former teammate "they could get hurt they could die we're soldiers shinobi it's an occupational hazard in our world the strong survive and the weak don't I use to think you were weak Iruka"
"Yes I remember all the times you called me Dobe your point Shinji"
"you are my point I thought you were going to die or slow down Yugao and I but you didn't you kept up with us and in sme ways surpassed us you held your own in the exams and you beat the girl who became an Anbu captain you became a chunin before us and you could have become a jonin so do what Seishin Sensei did for you belive in your students"
Iruka nodded and stepped back "Iruka as a former sensei I sympathise with you but you must learn when to place faith in your students and let them go" Minato said "I approve all nominations the rookies will be participating in these exams"
in a training field three kunai flew through the air hitting a target in it's head heart and neck from a tree across from the target a girl leaps down with her brown hair in buns iron grey eyes she wears a white long sleeved shirt sandals an black pants on her hips are two scrolls she's holding two more kunai by their rings
"so I hear from sensei that rookies will be partcipating in the exam with us" she said twirling the kunai a bit before throwing them one is intercepted by another kunai the second thrower has neck length brown hair and white eyes of the hyuga clan wearing a khaki shirt dark brown shorts, blue shinobi sandals he also has bandages wrapped around his right arm and leg this was Neji Hyuga
"I didn't think you cared so much for rookies Tenten" Neji said Tenten laughed "please they are fated to lose to us superior genin" Tenten said in a bad imitation of Neji's voice Neji and Tenten leaped ino the air dodging a new projectile "my voice does not sound like that" the projectile wedged itself in two treew revealing itself to be a kunai knife cut down the middle
"Dang it Lee that was one of my new kunai do you think they grow on trees" Tenten shouted at Lee Rock Lee came out a bowl cut boy with very bushy eyebrows wearing a white tanktop green pants with orange guards black chinese slippers and a red belt a konoha plate on his right hip
"Yosh many apoligies Tenten but I am engulfed in the flames of youth for the upcoming exams"
"it doesen't matter Lee I highly doubt there is a genin team in this exam that can stand up to team 9" Neji said
and this is the chapter yes team nine mostly looks different
