Impossibly Possible: Leah's Octuplets

Chapter 25

Author's notes: Sorry for the long wait. This chapter is written by my wonderful, amazing, astounding, terrific, awesome, cool, fantastic, marvelous, magnificent (well you get the idea now right?) co-writer pepisaliki.

Leah could hardly contain her excitement as they all placed the babies in their car seats. It was about time that she left La Push even if it
were for a moment. She needed some peace in her life and her childhood home sadly brought upon a lot of sadness and drama.
"So are you ready, She-wolf" a familiar voice asked behind her. Leah turns to see the Rosalie with a smirk and her hands on her hips. She was wearing a very fitted white tank top, jean mini skirt, and matching high heels. She was DEFINITELY ready for this vacation.

"Hell yes!" Leah exclaims giving her a smirk of her own. The women regarded each other. That was why she loved Rosalie. She was bitch, but then again, so was Leah. They were like two peas in the pod.

As Leah got into the van, Rosalie got into her yellow Ferrari. "Hey, Rose!" Leah called out before Rosalie could close the door of her car.

"Yeah?"

"Try not to drive so fast! My babies lives are in your hands"

"And if I don't, whatchu gonna do about it?"

"I will kick your ass, Bitch! Don't play with me!" Leah said seriously, but under that seriousness she had an amused on her face. Rose knew this and she gives a laugh.

"I would like to see you try"

"Man, that would be sight to see. Two of the sexiest babes getting in a mud fight! That's better than porn!" Paul exclaims from the drivers side of the van. This earned him a huge smack on the head from Rachel who sat next to him, "OWWW! BABE, I'm sorry! I didn't mean it!"

"WHATEVER, Paul! Just shut up and drive!" Rachel exclaims. Everyone laughs as Paul begins to curse under his breath. The three cars caravanned to a small airport in the Forks area. As they got to their destination, everyone's mouth was hanging. Awaiting for them, was their own private jet. The Cullens had a lot of money and with money they had the luxury of buying anything they want. As they boarded the plane, their excitement grew as Alice mentioned they were vacationing in Maui, Hawaii. The plane also much space for all of their belongings. All the chairs could recline and they had extra room to stretch their legs. Soon the plane took off and Leah found herself looking out the window. Good bye La Push, Good bye Forks, Good bye Washington! Hawaii here they come! Once they arrived, there were two shuttle vans who picked them up directly from the airport and dropped them off at the beach house they would occupy for their stay in Maui.

Once they were settled in, everyone changed into their bathing suits and headed over to the beach. The babies along with Claire, and Renesmee stayed alongside with Leah, Rosalie, Alice, Bella, Emily, and Rachel. Embry, Seth, Collin, and Brady, were busy kicking the soccer ball and horsing around. She could feel the sand in between her toes, the wind blowing through her hair. The sun beating down on her tanned skinned. The ocean was foam like and glistened a combination of blue-green brilliance. The waves crashed about like beating drums-it created a melodious sound to Leah's ears. The sight was truly remarkable. For once in a long time, she felt content. This was a way to escape all the turmoil that had been going on her life.

As Embry, Seth, Collin, and Brady continued to play ball, the babies got so excited that they phased and began to run in their direction. Leah was so engrossed in her thoughts that it took her a moment to hear her name being called. "LEAH!" She snapped out of her reverie to witness the scene unfold before her. Her babies in wolf form were running circles all around the grown boys. Rosalie, Alice, Bella, Emily, and Rachel were running after them trying to catch them, but they were too fast. Soon enough, Embry scooped three of them up in his arms. Seth caught one. Brady caught one and the other three were three were still running about. The ones that were caught were squirming about and itching to get free. Leah strode over to where the commotion was.

"STOP!" She commanded. At once, they all froze, "Phase back NOW!" Cries of babies filled the air as they kicked their small arms and legs about. Emily rushed back to the house to get extra pairs of clothes as they have destroyed the ones they had been wearing. When she got back, the children were seated in strollers. Leah was giving them a firm lecture. "YOU are NOT to phase UNLESS mommy says so. It is extremely dangerous. Anyone could have seen you phase and that would mean trouble for our family." The babies were no longer crying, but they were looking intently at their mother. Their eyes were a bit solemn, but they understood what their mother was saying. The oldest of the octuplets began to nod his head and starting saying, "Uhmm..mmmm" the others followed his lead as they were affirming they agreed to follow their mother's directions.

After the sun starting going down, everyone had decided to go back to the house. Food was prepared and they all had dinner. The babies were fed and they were busy playing in the playroom. Little Renesmee and Claire loved to play with them. They were constantly making them smile and laugh. They even watched movies with them. Emily decided to go outside and pick some mangoes growing outside. She wanted to slice them up and make a snack for later. As she crouched down to pick up her basket, arms engulfed her from behind. she stiffened, but began to relax as she recognized the young man who held her. His breath tickled her ear as he brushed his lips against her forehead. They hadn't said anything to each other, but they enjoyed the closeness in silence. Slowly, Emily turns to face Embry. She places her hands around his face and gives him a kiss. He deepens the kiss and brings her closer. They were too engrossed in that moment to not realize the door opening and an individual walking up behind them, until the individual cleared his or her throat. As they abruptly turned to face the intruder, embarrassment was evident on their faces. There stood Leah with a look of amusement on her face. Emily hid her face into Embry's chest as her face grew warm and red.

"So you and Embry, huh?" Leah said with a laugh.

"Yes." Emily replied in soft voice. Another moment of silence as Leah placed her hands on her hips.

"I hope to God that Sam knows what is going on?" Emily looked at her incredulously. Apparently Leah wasn't paying much attention to Sam's feelings for her. Sam could care less about what Emily was doing. His main focus was Leah. Leah had to be blind to NOT see that!

"He does."

"And...?"

"And what, Leah?"

"How did he take it?"

"He doesn't care." Another silence as Leah looked at Emily as if she had gone crazy. This irritated Emily to no end. Leah really couldn't be stupid. In fact, Leah was always good at reading people and figuring things out.

"I don't believe you!" Leah crossed her arms over her chest.

"What is so hard to believe?"

"You're his imprint! He should care!"

"Imprint?! Do you know how stupid that sounds Leah. You had an imprint! Did you forget about him? Obviously if imprinting was how it was thought to be, wouldn't you think I would be with HIM and NOT Embry! Come on, Leah! You of all people couldn't be that dense! Open your eyes!"

"Open my eyes to what? That he and I are FORCED to mate, FORCED to get married. Let's be real, Emily. If I hadn't gotten pregnant, you and Sam would still be together!"

"Maybe? Maybe not? Who knows?! He LOVES you. Imprinting never gave him a choice, but he has ALWAYS chosen you and I KNOW you STILL love him too."

"I don't want to hear this! I'm happy for you. If Embry makes you happy, then good for you, but DON'T expect me to take Sam back as if nothing has happened in the past year! He is my mate BECAUSE OF CIRCUMSTANCES, nothing more, nothing less! Love has done nothing but screw me over in the past year! This is none of your business! Stop trying to make a fairytale out of this whole situation! My life has been FAR from a fairytale!

1h agoI can't deal with this right now-" Before Emily could respond once more, Leah runs away. Her mind was boggled with thoughts and she needed to be alone. One thing that she loved to do when she was back in La Push was to go cliff diving. There were no cliffs in sight, but the water touching her skin would calm her down. Leah decided to go for a dive in the ocean. As she descended into the water, she couldn't help but feel comforted. It was just her-and sea life. NO ONE could touch her here or so she thought.

As she got deeper and deeper, a dark figure started to swim towards her. Leah froze. It's red eyes glowed in the dark. As it got closer, she realized it was a male. She couldn't recognize this unwanted guest. The only characteristics she could observe were his dishelmed hair, a devilish smile spread across his face, and he stretched his arm out towards her. Leah really wanted to scream, but she couldn't. This couldn't be a good situation. The only thing that appeared humanlike in appearance with red eyes that she knew of were vampires-the ones that drank from humans. Normally, Leah would stay and fight, but something in her gut told her to get away as quickly as she can. She started to swim away, kicking her legs as hard as she could to get to the surface. The dark figure was quicker, and grabbed her ankle and with a firm yank pulled her down towards him. Leah struggled against his strength. He twisted her around, until they were face to face.

She still couldn't see his face, but he grabbed her face and kissed her roughly against the mouth. She struggled against him. Who was this strange vampire that was kissing her? Leah could feel nothing but disgust. Soon enough as the vampire was there, he vanished as if he never existed. She turned in all directions to see if she could find any traces of him or any scent, but she found NOTHING. A feeling of intense fear came over her. Without thinking any further, she began her journey back to the surface. As soon as she pulled herself out of the water, everyone was waiting for her. Without any hesitation, Bella who was closest to her pulled Leah into her arms. Leah began to sob uncontrollably.

"Shhhhhh! It's ok. We're all here! We were so worried" Bella begins to sooth her as she stroked her hair.

"What happened, Leah?" Seth asked in concern as he approached his sister and stepsister. He embraces the both of them.

"A vam-A vampire! I saw a vampire! He had red eyes!" Leah whimpered.

"Alright! All the women go back to the house with Leah. We will patrol the area!" Paul barked out an order. For once, he was acting maturely and he looked grim.

The women went back to the beach house while Paul, Embry, Seth, Collin, Brady, and Jasper patrolled the area. They could find no trace of a vampire or a scent. Leah was so tired and exhausted from the whole ordeal that she fell asleep, but little did she know that her sleep would be far from peaceful.

Leah's eyes finally open and she finds herself on a large bed. Where in the world was she? She gets up from the large bed with and steps onto the cool floor. To her right, there was a window. She walked towards it and looks out of it to see if she could get an idea for where she was. The sun was starting to set and from what she could see, she was out in the country side and the building she was in was a dark castle. There were other wings that she could see attached to it. This still didn't answer her question. She was in castle, but where was this castle. As she looked throughout her room. She noticed a large mirror propped up on a table in front of the bed. She stared at her reflection. She was wearing a long flowing gown. The body of the gown was some sort of corset that was tied in the back, and made her b*** look even more ample. Her long her was much longer. Instead of ending on her mid back, it was now ending at her butt.

She opened the door to explore this large fortress she was in. Her bare feet padded across the ground as she was making several turns through the long corridors. The more she walked, the more hallways she found herself in. Soon, she heard noises coming from one of the hallways she found herself in. As she drew closer-the noises became more distinct. There were shrieks of terror. They sounded like humans! She ran as fast as she could and threw open the door to find dead bodies lying all over the face. Their mouths were agape and the color had been drained from their body. Blood was splattered everywhere. Leah began to back up, until she hit something-rather SOMEONE. She turns around and is me with red eyes. The person staring back at her was Terrance! Paralyzed with fear, Leah just stood there. He slowly began to caress her cheek.

"What is it my love?" He asked. My love? What did he mean? Leah was so confused. As if to answer her question, he spoke once more. "You seem a little flushed. Is everything alright, darling? How is the baby?" Baby? He wasn't making any sense. She placed her hand on her stomach and found that it was protruding. The next thing that happened made her skin crawl. The creature-the thing inside her kicked. Color drained her face. Where was she? Why was she here? More importantly, what happened to her babies?

Terrance continued to look at her with concern in his eyes. Leah was at loss for words. He picked her up and began walking through the hallways. "You must be hungry. Not to worry, the cook has prepared a nice dinner for you. She is familiar with how shifters eat.

"Where are we going?" Leah spoke quietly. Terrance looked down at her.

"To the dining room. Everyone is waiting for us." Who is everyone? Leah wondered. She wasn't sure if she wanted to find out. As soon as Terrance opened the door, her question was answered.

"Nice of you to join us, Leah Clearwater." a smooth voice admonished. Standing before her was Aro, Caius, Marcus, Jane, Alec, and the whole Volturi court. Her stomach began to lurch. she struggles out of Terrance and found herself kneeling on the floor. The contents of her lunch spilled all over the floor. No, No! This could not be happening. This wasn't right. Without thinking, she ran. She didn't know where she was going. She kept running until she hit a dead end.

"You cant run from me, my darling. I will always find you." She turned around abruptly to find him standing no more than 2 feet away from her. As he drew closer and closer, she kept backing up until her back hit the wall. She did the only thing she could of think of-she screamed and screamed. The mere thought of being with him frightened her. Agony and dread filled her. He was a monster! He was evil! She wanted no part of him. Her screams of terror echoed through the night.

Author's notes: I apologize again for the long wait. My muse has gone on vacation indefinitely. I was thinking of finding and re-reading the books and hope that that gives me some more ideas. And with my depression I loose interest in things that I once loved (like writing fanfiction). It's been hard and I almost ended my life on December 11th of last year; which was also my 19th birthday. But A voice told me to stop and that it wasn't worth it. Believe what you will; but I think it was my guardian angel that saved my life, and stopped me from making that terrible choice.
