Hi guys! If you remember this story, or even me at all, I hope you enjoyed this story. There is a sequel, called Repaired, but guess what! I've decided I'm going to rewrite this story to make it better and more realistic. So I decided to post a sneak peek, before I release the real story. Also, if you haven't already, check out my current ongoing fanfic, We Keep Our Secrets To Ourselves. Anyway, hope you enjoy.

Oh yeah, one more thing: I got a Wattpad. My name on there is callmebianca1, and some of my original works are on there. Sorry to advertise, but I just want to tell you that. I'll stop distracting you now, and you can start reading.

Shattered:

Percy doesn't want to get held back, but his teachers and family have decided already. He is sent back to ninth grade, and assigned a tutor named Annabeth Chase, who is smart enough to have skipped ninth grade anyway. But she's nice enough to help him, and while they're working together, they form a bond closer than anyone would have expected. But when the world comes crashing down, will their bond be strong enough to hold their remaining pieces together?

Chapter One: One

"Hey, man, what's the matter?" My science partner, Luke Castellan, asked, taking off his lab goggles to look at my angry expression. When I didn't answer, he said, "Look, an 82 is a good grade."

"Didn't you hear Ms. Addison? You got an 82. I got a failing grade," I spat. "You didn't let me do any of the work, she saw that, and failed me. It's all your fault." My whole body started to shake in anger. "This is our final project. It's, like, twenty percent of our entire grade. And you made me fail!"

"Whoa, slow down," Luke said. "Why would I let you do any of the work anyway? You're too stupid to even write neatly." He grinned, and I felt the urge to slap the grin off his face. "So why do you care so much? You were failing anyway."

"Shut up," I told him. My hands clenched into fists. "Just shut up!" He shook his head.

"Just stating the truth," he said. I couldn't take it anymore. I raised my fist, and punched him in the nose. He punched me back, but I dodged it. But Luke glared at me, and everyone started chanting, "Fight, fight!"

And that was how I ended up in the principal's office on the last week of school, when we were supposed to be having fun.
