"So you've been giving Jaune tips have you?" Pyrrha sat down opposite Kai, who had been studying quietly in the library.

"Maybe," The Ninja replied as he continued to write out his work, "Also keep it down this is a quiet study area."

"Seriously…" Pyrrha responded before lowering her voice as she was hushed by a passing librarian, "That sneaky move from yesterday was obviously your instruction…"

"Maybe…"

"And what is that supposed to mean?" Pyrrha hissed.

"Jaune's a good Huntsman give him some credit." Kai replied as he put his pen down.

"Don't give me that crap, you obviously taught him that." Pyrrha responded angrily.

"Come on Pyrrha it was one move how can you conclude that I've been teaching your teammate?"

"I didn't have to Jaune was very forth coming with the information after some encouragement." Pyrrha smiled.

"I don't want to know but I feel like I'm obliged to ask, what do you mean by encouragement?" Kai asked.

"Nothing to bad I just told Nora and Ruby that he was stashing cookies under his bed, so they busted in while he was asleep and when they couldn't find any Nora put him in a headlock and questioned him while Ruby started to tear through his stuff. I promised to get them to leave in exchange for the information." Pyrrha explained.

"And when he coughed up the information?" Kai asked sceptically.

"I gave them a jar of cookies labelled 'Jaune Arc's Super-Secret Stash' and sent them on their way." Pyrrha smiled.

"That is possibly one of the most imaginative yet cruel and unusual forms of torture I have ever heard of." Kai laughed, "So you busted me what now?"

"I can't believe you!" Pyrrha yelled exasperatedly throwing her hands into the air, "We promised not to reveal each other's weak points when we became rivals!"

"Look maybe we should take this outside…" Kai whispered as the other students and several librarians were staring at them.

"Good point." Pyrrha grinned nervously at the closest librarian, "Sorry…"

"Ruby!" The small girl and the Valkyrie jumped out of their skin as Weiss entered the room catching them red handed as they enjoyed the spoils of the previous night's escapades.

"Ahh Weiss where did you come from?"

"Tell me where you got these?" Weiss demanded as she snatched the cookies up from in-between the two girls.

"Hey half of those are mine!" Nora exclaimed spitting crumbs everywhere.

"Not now Nora, Ruby you're meant to be eating healthily where did you get these?"

"Pyrrha gave them to us in exchange for us helping her get some information from Jaune." Ruby explained.

"That's not a very nice thing to do to your friend." Weiss chastised Ruby, "Or your team leader." She continued turning to Nora.

"Hey that's not exactly fair!" Nora replied.

"Yeah she tricked us." Ruby added.

"Tricked you how?" Weiss asked sceptically.

"She said Jaune had a secret stash of cookies…" Ruby replied meekly, "And we kind of tore through his stuff…"

"I might have also put him in a headlock as well…" Nora admitted.

Weiss examined the label on the jar, "Seeing as you received your payment Jaune obviously gave up the information, what did Pyrrha want to know?" Weiss continued.

"Whether or not Kai had been training him." Ruby replied.

"And has he?" Weiss pressed.

"Yeah…"

"Why would he do that?" Weiss asked no one in particular.

"So, care to explain why you're giving out my secrets to my team leader?" Pyrrha asked as she leaned against the corridor wall.

"I was trying to help the guy out." Kai explained as he leaned against the opposite wall.

"Help him how? I'm helping him train."

Kai sighed heavily, "Look I'll level with you, Jaune is trying to impress you…"

"Impress me?" Pyrrha asked confusedly.

"Jaune is going to kill me…" Kai muttered to himself before continuing, "Jaune explained what was going on between you two before I rocked up…"

"Oh…" Pyrrha's anger petered out, "So he asked for some help training?"

"Well not exactly… He was beating himself up not being a good fighter and I-I… Well I gave him a push in the right direction… " Kai finished with a nervous smile.

"Jaune didn't give up…" Pyrrha whispered.

"I think I should leave you to it." Kai finished with a grin and walked away before quickly adding, "You should probably go talk to him he put on an impressive display yesterday there could be any number of girls trying to get to know him."

"Not funny." The Spartan grumbled.

"I still can't believe Jaune managed to pull that move off." Yang muttered still amazed by the Knight's performance.

"It was very impressive." Blake agreed as the pair wandered down the hallway.

"I wonder where he learned to do that."

"I guess Pyrrha's training is paying off." Blake suggested.

"I don't think so…" Yang replied thoughtfully.

"Why not?" Blake asked surprised by Yang's contemplative state.

"It's just not Pyrrha's style... It's too sneaky…"

Yang wasn't the most insightful person, but when it came to combat styles Blake trusted her teammate's judgement. "So who's been teaching him?"

Yang thought about the question before answering, "If we assume that Jaune is being taught by someone we know, that suggest three people to me but that can be whittled down to two instantly."

"Why's that?" Blake interjected.

"Because you haven't admitted to teaching him," Yang replied. "Is it you?" The Brawler asked leaning in close to Blake.

"No." The Faunus replied flatly.

"Right, anyway that leaves two…" Yang paused and scratched her chin, "The second option is Ren but I think we would have found out about it from Nora, I don't think she could survive that long without him…"

"So that leaves?" Blake asked trying to encourage the blonde girl to her conclusion.

"Your boyfriend… But why would he be helping Jaune train?"

"I don't know, I think I might have to ask him…"

"So how long have you been helping Jaune?" Kai looked up from his work as Blake walked through the open door into his dormitory.

'How does everyone know?' Kai thought to himself 'And why don't people want me to finish this work?'

"Hey Kitten," he smiled as he stood.

Blake rolled her eyes as he pulled her in to big hug, "So about Jaune."

"What about him?"

"How come you're helping him with his training?" Blake asked.

"You know helping a guy out… Hang on how did you find out?"

"Yang had a hunch." Blake shrugged.

"A hunch?"

"It was more of an educated guess." Blake explained.

"Based off what?"

"The fighting style of the move Jaune pulled off it was your style… Apparently…"

"She's good…" Kai replied nodding.

"So when did you and Jaune start hanging out?" Blake asked as she disentangled herself from the older boy and began to walk around the room.

"Well…" Kai began as he sat down on his desk, "There was that thing we probably don't want to talk about…"

"Oh…" Blake replied.

"Yeah…" Kai laughed nervously, "I was just kicking about after that… And I just started talking to him…"

"I thought Pyrrha was helping with his training."

"Well yeah, but he was beating himself up about his abilities… So I gave him a couple of tips."

"It looks like you gave him more than a couple of tips…" Blake replied.

"Not really just one really good one." Kai grinned.

"You showed him one move and that was it wasn't it?" Blake grinned.

"Yep, it's an absolute fail safe against Pyrrha." Kai laughed.

"Won't Pyrrha be angry about you showing Jaune her weak point?" Blake asked becoming more serious.

"Yeah she was furious…" Kai muttered.

"She's already had a go at you about it?"

"Yeah…." Kai sighed, "But I explained a few things and she dropped it, I think she probably has something more important on her mind."

"What's that?" Blake asked curiously.

"Promise you won't tell anyone else at the moment." Kai paused before adding, "Especially Yang…"
