She was scared of him. Couldn't get past the fact that he was a killer. Couldn't comprehend how someone so destructive could ever feel the need to protect or even feel love towards her. She was weak and fainted at the sight of blood. He cared. Didn't dare admit it, but she knew by the way he looked at her and she hated it. She didn't want to love a killer.

A/N: This is going to be the last upload for the next couple if weeks. My Grandmother passed away Tuesday and I'll be leaving for the funeral next week. I just wanted to let you know that I'm not abandoning this fic or anything- I'm just going through some things right now. I'll also be leaving for basic training the beginning of September so I will try to get a chapter out before putting Calignous on hold.
