... I have nothing to say.

-And ya know that I think about ya.-

Tavros and Gamzee were playing a board game, at Tavros' insistence. Almost every time it came to be Gamzee's turn, he would be staring off into space again. Tavros tried to not let it bother him too much, but after the thirty-fifth time, he had to ask.

"Gamzee? Uh,,, Gamzee?" He waved his hand in front of Gamzee's face.

"Hm? Oh, well look at that. It's all up and my turn again." Gamzee quickly busied himself with rolling the dice and moving his piece (which was a baseball cap) around the board. "Community Chest!" He picked a card.

"So, uh, what were you thinking about?"

"It's nothing, Tavbro."

"It must be something. I mean, you're hardly paying attention to the game at all." He frowned. "I-if something's wrong, you know you can tell me about it."

Gamzee smiled warmly. "There ain't a single motherfuckin thing wrong in the world. The world has too many miracles in it for there to be enough room for anything bad."

"What were you thinking about if there's nothing wrong?"

"You've got beautiful eyes."

Tavros blushed. "W-what?" Is this seriously a thing that's happening?

"That's what was all up and occupying my think pan. You."

Tavros remained in stunned silence. "I'm always thinkin about you, Tavbro." He moved his piece to "Go" and collected four million as the Community Chest card had said to do. "It's your turn."

Tavros numbly took his turn, trying to wrap his mind around what his best friend had just said.

Eventually, they had to give up on the game of Monopoly because neither of them was able to focus on the game long enough to remind the other to take their turn.

This is completely one of my favorite headcannons for pb&j. Not necessarily the part where he tells Tavros what he's thinking about, just the reasoning behind his lack of focus on games with Tavros.
