Alright, five more to go! Again, sorry for any awkwardness. And a big thanks to those of you that favorited and reviewed! Also, if any of you guys can spot it, I did throw in an Aang quote from the cave dance episode.

"Your Majesty, are you sure you don't want anything to eat?"

She looked in the mirror at Gerda. "I'm positive. I feel sick as it is."

"At least have some tea then. It may soothe your nerves and stomach."

Elsa reluctantly agreed. She doubted it would work, but it was worth a try. Gerda sent a younger maid to do it and took her place behind her, starting to do her hair. After awhile, she spoke. "How are you holding up?"

She swallowed thickly, ice crackling under her palms. "I'm...fine."

Gerda rolled her eyes at the obvious lie, but didn't push. "Alright, now, let's get you into your dress."

Elsa followed her behind the changing screen and carefully slipped into the dress; her mother's dress. It wasn't a flashy dress, but still appropriate for her rank. Her mother wasn't a fan of the over-the-top dresses, either. After fastening it up, she turned her to face her. Tears immediately welled up in her eyes as she reached up to fix a stray lock of hair.

"Oh, my..." she took her hands and smiled. "You look just like your mother. So beautiful."

Elsa felt her throat tighten and blinked back tears; she couldn't cry, not yet. "Thank you." She bit her lip, then spoke again. "Gerda, do you think she would approve of...everything?"

Gerda carefully touched her cheek. "My dear, she would be so proud of you. Your father, too. And I'm sure they're looking down at you now, so happy with how far you've come." She wiped away a tear that ran down Elsa's cheek before pulling her into a hug.

She had taken her back to the mirror and was adding finishing touches when Anna walked in, already dressed in her blue gown. It was a bit different, a little more extravagant, than Kya and Rapunzel (who had arrived late last night), since she was her Maid of Honor. She looked at the mirror as her sister stood beside her with tear-filled eyes. "Oh, Elsa you look beautiful. And just like Mama."

Elsa ran her hands down the front of the dress. She had added a few things (nothing permanent), just little things with her powers. She managed a smile, not trusting herself to speak, and took her hand.

She took a deep breath as Gerda fixed her veil and tied her betrothal necklace around her neck. "Are you ready, Your Majesty?"

Despite the butterflies and frost at her feet, she nodded. "I'm ready." She had to be.

"I'm so not ready," Bumi fretted, pacing. His groomsmen, Kristoff, his cousin Suka, and Tenzin (who was shocked when Bumi asked him), watched him silently while Aang and the Best Man, Kenai, tried to calm him.

Aang grabbed him by his shoulders and turned him to face him. "Bumi, you need to calm down. Everything will be fine. And I promise, when you're at the altar, all of this will go away when you see Elsa."

"I bet you my sword that he drools," Kenai muttered to the other groomsmen. Kristoff and Suka snickered in response while Tenzin rolled his eyes.

Bumi nodded and took deep breaths. Then he looked at him intensely, suddenly vulnerable. "Dad, are you proud of me?"

Aang nodded and hugged him. "Of course I am. You've grown into a good man who's made something of himself. Your mother and I are so proud."

They parted when they heard a knock. Katara poked her head in. "It's time. Are you ready?"

"Yes?" he squeaked, in a manner he hadn't since early puberty. Katara walked up to him and embraced him.

"You'll be alright. She's nervous, too, if it makes you feel any better."

He swallowed and looked at his dad. "You're sure it'll go away?"

Aang grinned and reached for Katara's hand. "It did for me."

Bumi took a deep breath and straightened, rolling his shoulders back. "Alright, let's do this."

Elsa began to ice the floor as she waited. Anna pulled her into a hug. "I am so proud of you."

And with that, the ice melted as she hugged her back.

"I love you."

"I love you, too." She stepped back and wiped the tears on Anna's cheeks. "Oh, Anna, don't cry, or I'll cry."

Anna laughed. "Sorry. I can't help it." She took her hand. "Ready to go?"

She smiled and squeezed her hand. "No. But with you and Bumi, I can do this."

She tried to ignore the eyes on her as they made their way down the isle. She just focused on breathing and walking. When she did finally glance up at Bumi, she almost laughed at his awestruck expression.

They finally made it to the alter. She handed an already-emotional Anna her bouquet, then turned and Bumi took her hands. As the priest spoke, he never looked away and the smile never left.

They then exchanged vows and rings; behind her, she could hear Anna sniffling.

"You may now kiss the bride."

It was time for the kiss she had been worried for. But as he looked at her with loving eyes, she wasn't so scared anymore.

"I love you," he whispered, then, ever so softly, his lips met hers.

It was a short kiss, but it was one of the sweetest ones they'd shared. She didn't hesitate to respond, and at that moment, she knew she was ready. As soon as he pulled away, she whispered, "I love you, too."

His eyes lit up, and he looked like she had just told him the best news in the world. It was endearing. He was euphoric; he had waited for what felt like forever to hear that, and to hear it now...he just wanted to kiss her again and hold her and never let go.

And if they weren't in public, he would probably act on it. But, they were.

Later.

Right now, they were caught up in the embrace of emotional friends and family. Bumi was immediately caught in his mother's tearful embrace. She kissed his cheek, then he was passed on to his father, and so on. Kya and Anna both hugged him, Kristoff clapped him on the back, and even Tenzin squeezed his shoulder and smiled at him. His Uncle Sokka and Toph hade made it as well, so he got a handshake and a bruised shoulder from them.

Elsa was greeted first by a crying Anna and Gerda, then Kya and Katara, and the rest of her new family, for they were like family to her. Katara hugged her as tenderly as her own mother would have, and Aang's offer to whip his son into shape if he didn't behave made her laugh. Kya kissed her cheek in a very Anna-like manner, and Kristoff gave her a hug. Anna never let go.

Their little family had grown. And she loved it.

It took awhile for them to manage to get a little alone time before the reception, but Anna and Kya made it happen. They managed to hide in an empty guest room.

They didn't know what to say to each other, but the silence wasn't awkward. She, however, knew what he wanted to ask about. The four words she had uttered before they were swept away by their family.

But he was hesitant, so she took it into her own hands. She wove their fingers together and looked up at him. "Bumi?"

"Yeah?"

She sucked in a deep breath. "I love you."

He didn't realize how much he had wanted to hear that, until she actually said it. He cradled her face in his hands and touched their foreheads together. He kissed her, like he had wanted to at the wedding, a bit longer, but every bit as gentle. She kissed him back, in her usual shy way, and he wouldn't change that. He wouldn't change anything.

When he pulled back, he couldn't help himself. He kissed her forehead, her cheeks, her nose, then kissed her lips again. She had started to smile and laugh a little. "What was that for?"

He grinned. "I just love you, a lot."

She smiled warmly. "Come on, we'd better go."

They got there just as Kai was ready to announce their entrance. Anna grinned at them. "And what were you two doing?"

Elsa rolled her eyes. "Anna."

"Okay, sorry."

Kristoff grinned at him. "Welcome to the club, pal. Still think you can handle this?"

"I think it's a bit late to back out now. Wish you would've told me about this an hour ago."

While Kristoff laughed, the two received near-identical glares from the sisters.

"I'm kidding!" Bumi said, nudging Elsa with his shoulder. She shook her head. Then she heard her name called.

"Queen Elsa of Arendelle, with the new Prince Consort Bumi!"

"Let's go," she said, taking hold of his arm. The couple walked out as everyone bowed, while Anna and Kristoff ran to the other side to enter.

"Princess Anna of Arendelle and Ice Master Kristoff!"

Anna pulled Kristoff forward and positioned herself at Elsa's right. Bumi was on Elsa's left, Kristoff on Anna's right.

Everyone straightened and applauded. Anna immediately made her way to mingle, while the newlyweds remained on the dais, greeting guests. But when the music start, Bumi grinned at her and held out his hand. "Your Majesty, would you honor me with a dance?"

She gulped. "Bumi, you know I don't dance!"

"You have before," he replied.

"That was different!"

"Do you trust me?"

She looked at him hesitantly, then finally sighed. "Fine," she grumbled.

His smile somehow widened as he took her hand and led her out onto the floor. Slow music began to play, and they began to dance.

Elsa tried not to look around, but she could still feel everyone's eyes on them. Her hands grew colder, but Bumi didn't say anything. "Bumi, everyone's watching," she murmured.

He smiled. "Don't worry about them; it's just you and me right now."

She felt a warmth in her chest as he smiled at her with loving eyes; she couldn't help but smile back. "Okay."

Bumi was, in fact, a very good dancer, and even though she really didn't usually like to dance, she wasn't too bad at it, so the dance went smoothly.

But yet, as soon as she was done, Elsa pulled him off the floor to the side of the room. She saw the balcony a little ways away and nudged him, nodding towards it. He nodded back and they snuck out, Anna catching her eye and winking as they closed the door.

"Anna will keep them distracted for awhile." She took a deep breath and leaned against the railing. "I'm sorry, but I had to get out. It was getting too warm."

"It's fine," he reassured. "It's your wedding. I want you to be happy."

"It's yours, too."

"But if you're happy, I'm happy."

She smirked and rolled her eyes. "You're a hopeless romantic."

He laughed. "I can be, when the situation requires it."

He leaned beside her on the rail, and they stared at stars.

"The stars are beautiful tonight."

"They're not the only thing that's beautiful tonight."

Elsa blushed and nudged him with her shoulder. "Stop it!"

He grinned and kissed her cheek. "I mean it, though. You are absolutely stunning."

She looked down shyly. "Thank you."

Bumi tilted her chin up so her eyes met his. "I love you."

She gave him a shy smile, and he leaned in and kissed her gently. When he pulled back, she responded quietly, "I love you, too."

She was so used to only saying that to Anna. She loved Bumi, she did. But she was still so uneasy with making herself vulnerable by expressing her emotions. But the look on his face, the way his eyes lit up, made it all worth it.

She tilted her head again and leaned forward slightly. He knew what she was asking, so he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers once more, and was very happy when she slowly, hesitantly kissed him back. He couldn't help but smile into their kiss.

When they pulled away again, they heard soft music playing on the other side of the doors. He took her hand. "Will you dance with me again?" When she opened her mouth to argue, he quickly added. "Out here. Just the two of us."

Elsa relented, and Bumi gently pulled her to him again. They didn't really dance, they just settled with swaying side to side. But she allowed herself to sink into his embrace this time, since they were alone.

She rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes, letting his warmth surround her. She breathed deeply, taking in his scent of saltwater and pine. It was comforting. While he hummed in her ear, she let her thoughts wander. It had been a busy but wonderful day, and she was exhausted. She was ready to go to bed.

Bed.

Tonight.

Their wedding night.

Oh, no.

Bumi felt her stiffen and grow cold, so he leaned back. "Elsa, are you okay?"

"Y-yeah," she breathed, but there was a worried crease between her eyebrows, and she looked close to tears.

He frowned. "No, you're not. What's wrong? Did I do something?"

He grew alarmed when she started to cry. "N-no," she said shakily. "No, it's not you, it-it's silly."

"It can't be that silly if you're this upset. What's wrong?"

Elsa looked into his concerned gaze and sighed, her shoulders slumping. "It's, well, about t-tonight."

He paused in confusion. "Tonight?"

She looked at him meaningfully. "Our wedding night?"

It suddenly clicked in his mind. "Oooh." He didn't know what to say to that.

She took his silence as disappointment. "I'm sorry! I'm just worried, but I'll do it! At least, I'll try, but...I don't think I'm ready! I'm sorry, please don't be mad." She choked slightly and turned away from him.

"Whoa, hey!" He moved around so he was in front of her. He gently pried her hands away from her waist. "It's alright, we don't have to do it tonight."

She looked at him hopefully. "We don't?"

"No," he said soothingly. "We won't do it until you're ready. Okay?"

Elsa nodded and wiped her tears away. "Okay."

But she still looked scared.

Bumi took her hand in both of his. "Elsa." She looked up at him, and he gave her a comforting smile. "Not until you're ready, I promise. I'll even sleep on the couch for a while if it makes you feel better."

She visibly relaxed and smiled at him. "Thank you."

He smiled and she stepped towards him and hugged him. She felt him sigh and nuzzle her shoulder and smiled. How did she get so lucky?

She pulled back slightly and kissed his cheek. "We'd better go in, they'll start to notice we're gone."

"Okay."

He wove their fingers together and they snuck back in. Anna skipped forward to meet them. "Everything okay?"

Elsa looked at Bumi, who was talking to Kristoff, and smiled. "Yeah, everything's okay."

Anna smiled and hugged her. "I'm so happy for you, Sis."

"Thank you."

Anna pulled back. "Hey, you." She poked Bumi's chest. "You owe both me and your sister a dance."

He looked over at her, and she smiled and nodded. "Go ahead."

He grinned back at Anna and bowed. "Yes, Your Highness." And with that, he was drug away.

Kristoff turned towards her and smiled, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'd ask you to dance, but I'm terrible, despite all of Anna's lessons."

She laughed. "It's alright, Kristoff. I'm not too fond of dancing, anyway."

They stood and watched Bumi dance with Anna and Kya, who were all laughing. A few dances later, she watched him pull his mother into the middle of the room, and she grew sad. Traditionally, this is where she would dance with her father. But he wasn't here.

She saw a flash of orange and turned to see her father-in-law beside her. "Are you alright?" he asked softly, concern filling his eyes.

She gave him a small smile. "I'm fine." She looked down. "I just wish my parents were here."

"I'm sure they are, in spirit. The ones who love us, never really leave." He watched his son dance with Katara, both of them talking and laughing. Then an idea came to him. "Hey...I know this is traditionally a father-daughter dance, and I'm not trying to replace your father at all, but if you'd like..."

She bit her lip. "But I really don't dance."

"Oh, you did fine earlier. Besides, Bumi had to learn that dancing somewhere."

She finally gave in with a sigh. "Oh, alright." She followed him out onto the floor. She was nervous at first, but Aang took the lead and she didn't have to do much, so she started to settle down. He talked to her to distract her and even managed to get her to laugh. Though Bumi may deny it, it was obvious to her: Bumi was very much like his father, kind and charming and likable.

When the pair did pass Bumi and Katara, he winked at her and mouthed a 'thank you' to his dad when Elsa wasn't looking.

After the dance, they went through the usual wedding customs. Elsa really didn't care for it and was honestly feeling exhausted, physically and emotionally. But Bumi had already proven capable of stepping into his new role. He stayed at her side, his arm around her waist, his hand on the small of her back, providing support. And when things began to settle down, Anna took over while he led her into a small sitting room. One that was furnished for Elsa specifically.

He led her to the couch to sit and she collapsed into him in relief, letting out a sigh and relaxing her muscles. He put his arm around her and pulled her against his side, which she was happy to do. When she rested her head on his chest, he kissed the top of her head. "We're nearly done, Dove."

She nodded, but then his wording caught up to her and she frowned sleepily. "Wait-what did you call me?"

"Dove. I guess couples are supposed to have pet names for each other. So there's yours."

"Mmm, I guess it's alright." Actually, she didn't mind it at all.

"I mean, I guess there's others...babyca-"

"Don't you dare!" She knew where that one was heading. He laughed and squeezed her a little tighter.

"Don't worry, I'm kidding. I'll stick with mine."

"That's fine," she said, settling back into a sleepy stupor. She jerked herself awake. "Ugh, what time is it?"

"Midnight."

That really woke her up. "Midnight? Okay, I think it's time to put an end to things."

"Don't worry, Anna's working on that now. I think we just need to step back in for a moment and say goodnight to everyone. Oh, and I'm sorry."

"For what?"

She found out when they were saying goodnight to their families. Anna lightly jabbed and teased, but Elsa felt a genuine reassurance from her as she hugged her and kissed her cheek.

Sokka and Kenai were not near as subtle with Bumi. Thankfully, Katara shooed them out with an apology. After that it was much easier and they left a little more at ease.

"That. That is what I'm sorry for," Bumi said as they walked back. "It probably won't make you feel better, but they're like that all the time. And it was more at me than you, I promise."

"Bumi, it's alright. Someone was bound to say something." He pulled on her arm when they got to their new room, in the old King and Queen's quarters (not fun for the sisters getting it ready, though). "What?"

He waggled his eyebrows. "We still have one more wedding tradition, do we not?" Technically, there was still another one after that, but it didn't count.

Her brow furrowed. "I don't think so."

"Wrong!" He scooped her up into his arms bridal style, and she was so light it was easy. Elsa gasped and clung to his neck, completely taken by surprise.

"Bumi!"

"I'm just doing my job!" he teased and carefully opened the door and went in kicking it shut behind him.

"Alright, we're inside. Will you put me down now?"

"Hold on." He kissed her and smirked. "There. Now we're done." He set her back down and undid his tie and the top buttons of his shirt, then flopped on his back on the bed. "Ugh, what a day. A wonderful day, but tiring."

Elsa walked to the closet to change. "Yes, it was." After a moment, she walked back out hesitantly. "Can you help me unbutton this? I can't reach."

Bumi nodded and got up and came up behind her. She pulled her hair out of the way and shivered when his fingers brushed the bare skin of her back. For a moment, she worried he would try something, but Bumi, being the gentleman he is, walked to the other side of the room without further contact and no comment, so she could change in peace.

She changed into a more comfortable, but very modest, nightdress. When she came out, Bumi was in a plain white shirt and black pants. She was relieved to find he wasn't one of the men that insisted on sleeping with his shirt off.

She climbed into bed but paused when she noticed he wasn't following her. "Bumi?" Suddenly, all of his playfulness was gone, replaced with uncertainty. She suddenly understood. "Oh, I'm not going to make you sleep on the couch. Come here." She patted the bed beside her. He smiled and joined her.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes," she said, and took his hand to get his attention. When she got his attention, she spoke earnestly. "I trust you, okay? I know you won't do anything I'm not ready for."

He smiled thankfully and kissed her forehead. "I promise I won't. Thank you."

"No, thank you. For being so patient."

"I told Anna this once, and I'll tell you now. You are worth waiting for." He put a warm hand on her cheek and kissed her. "I love you."

A warm surge of affection filled her. She put her hand over his.. "I love you, too." She moved her hand to the back of his neck and gently pulled him down into another kiss.

She then settled down under the blankets with him following, already dozing off. "Goodnight, Bumi." Though she was still close to him, she wasn't cuddled up, even though he wanted it. But he knew she needed time.

"Goodnight, Dove," he whispered and pressed another kiss to her forehead before also falling asleep.
