He knew he was going to win. He was a demon butler, she was a weak, human girl. Why did he torture her so?
As melodious as the music was, the moment it hit her ears, she screamed. She hated that song, with every single fiber of her being. She considered cutting her ears off to stop the sound.
His Butler, Elizabeth?
.
A/N: Alternate name, His Butler, Blank. Now, when I wrote this story, I had not read the manga (had I, the chapters would have been That Butler, as opposed to His Butler, but it's still good). If you'll remember it starts a week after season one, so, this chapter is partially based off events in episodes 11 & 12.
This chapter will be hair-raising fun. (You'll get the joke later.)
Also, at the bottom, I will purposely not mention it. You will know it is. It is not the joke, it is something else.
Last Time:
"I have dulled his powers. He moves much slower, and he can't hit quite as hard, however, his stamina is still above average for normal humans. Here," the immortal soul reaper handed her the teal sword, "the power is in your hands now, Lizzie."
Also:
"I am simply one heck of a butler." -Lizzie.
"Why are you doing this?" Elizabeth demanded as the large blade swung at the demon.
"Doing what? I am simply playing fighting music," he joked as he moved to the side, dodging the blade by a mile.
"L-L..." She couldn't even say its name, "This song is not fighting music! It's too slow!"
"Really? How disappointing," his faked worry made her angry, "Such a beautiful song isn't it?"
"No!"
"London Bridge is falling down..."
She grabbed her ears. That song was horrible.
"Falling down..."
She had...she had almost killed Ciel...the person she loves most...
"Falling down..."
They almost killed her.
"London Bridge is falling down..."
She loved her Ciel. She loved his smile.
"My fair lady," he finished. He looked at her. "Oh, you don't like that version? How about, Build it up with iron and steel-"
With one swift, slightly accurate move, she made a small cut on a Sebastian's face. But worse, long black locks drifted to the ground. The demon looked up at her.
"Oh, my," she filled her voice with fake concern as well, "Mother told you not to have such long fringes."
Hold on...did Elizabeth really just cut some of his beautiful, luscious, black hair off of his perfect head.
"My young master told you not to come into the house unexpectedly," he reminded, "Look where that got you."
"I admit, this isn't exactly how I imagined my vacation with Ciel," she stopped for a moment, "but, this has brought me much more excitement than if I had went to Poland with Mother."
"So you would rather be here, at you inevitable death, than with your mother, whom you'll never see again?" He cleared.
"I didn't say that," she noted, "I said it was more exciting, even though I'm going to die, at the hand of a demon. I know you brought Ciel back, so I'm not going to say I wish you never existed... I wish you didn't exist right now- Hey, why do you have kittens in here?"
The demon turned around, "Hm, kitt-"
She made a deep cut through his back. He turned around. He made that smile that made her stomach turn.
"That tickled."
"Elizabeth!"
Her head whipped around to see someone standing in the middle of the room. Her face lit up. Ciel saw it, but he couldn't see the other guy.
She walked over to him apperently, as she left his perrifreal vision.
"Thank God, you are alive," the boy with a familiar voice spoke with great relief, "I didn't know if I would make it back alive. Are you okay?"
"I cannot speak," she mentioned, "Wait, I-" her voice had suddenly stopped.
"What happened?" The boy asked, "Here, touch my hand and talk again."
"I can only speak when I touch you," she realized.
"Who is that?" Ciel had grown impatient wondering who she was talking to that he could not see.
"Ciel, this the Ciel I grew up with," she explained as she brought his counter part into his line of sight, "Ciel, this is Lizzie's Ciel."
"Hi! It's nice to meet you," the joyful one greeted with a smile.
"Um, it's nice to meet you, too," the depressed one replied awkwardly.
Ciel's eyes widened in realization, "I forgot, Lizzie told me you got really sad after your- my- our parents died? Are they our parents, because they're the same people, and they both died, or are they your parents, because you came from that specific Rachel? I think they're -"
Elizabeth sighed and smacked his shoulder and held on to it to speak, "We don't have time for this."
"Yes, where is my Elizabeth?" Ciel demanded.
"Well...last time I saw her, Grell was fighting Sebastian, and losing," the other Ciel added.
"Grell?" Both of the other two erupted, "How did he get here?"
Ciel put his hands on his head, "I don't know, this place is too confusing! I went on an adventure, and I tripped on a rock, and I stepped in bear excreta, and I fell in an ant pile, and a tripped on another rock, and I kept getting stuck in trees!"
"Calm down," she reminded, her words coming from her lips at a slow speed, "I don't need you all frenzied and frazzled. Breathe."
He nodded and took a deep breath and smiled at her slightly, "Your eyes are so pretty."
Her face lit up, "We-we don't have time for this. We have to go save Lizzie. Do you know where she is?"
He nodded, "But what about him, or me? I'm still not sure about how this works..."
"Well, when I touch you, I can talk, so maybe when you touch him, he can move," she proposed.
He nodded and touched the other's chest, "Can you move?"
Ciel wiggled and wriggled and jiggled, his body squiggled, until his body rolled onto the floor with a-
THUD!
Ciel grabbed the him on the floor and Elizabeth did so as well. The two from the opposing dimension looked at each other.
"We'll carry you."
She cringed.
Never before in her life had she seen so much blood, at least not so much of her own blood.
The gash in her thigh ached, gushing blood at a thousand gallons a second. Her head was stinging, her ears were ringing. She hurt everywhere. She could not stand, she could not speak, she could not breathe.
Then, his butler, Elizabeth, went blank.
