For those of you who requested a sequel to Bring Sally Up :)

After the Bring Sally Up challenge, Klaus had been keeping a close eye on Caroline and was getting increasingly more surprised by her performance and how well she did in all the tasks.

He called her back after one day of training and she walked lazily over to him.

"Yes Sir?" Caroline asked, batting her eyelashes at him. She had noticed that over the past few weeks Klaus had been paying more and more attention to her, so what ever she did she made sure to over exaggerate her assets and flaunt her curves. It worked.

"I am very impressed with what I am seeing." Klaus spoke.

"Well, if you let me. I could impress you with some other skills I have." Caroline purred, pushing him back into the wall and leaning into him.

"Let's see them then." Klaus growled, smashing their lips together in a passionate flurry.

And so began their… 1 to 1 work out sessions. They had managed to keep it hidden all until one day where there was a little slip up…

"Miss Forbes, do you understand why you are sat across me right now?" The sergeant spoke firmly.

Caroline had been sat waiting for him to speak for over 20 minutes now, which had completely put her on edge.

"I'm guessing it's not for recognition of my shooting skills?" Caroline joked before coughing to clear her throat and shaking her head in disagreement.

"I will tell you why. For destruction of government property." He spoke gravely, causing Caroline's eyes to widen in shock and her mouth to drop into a 'o'.

"I'm….. I….. Sorry, what have I destroyed?" Caroline stuttered before adding on a Sir to the end of it.

The sergeant responded by tossing a manila file to her which were filled with the so called evidence. She opened it and had to suppress the giggle that threatened to rise when she saw what it was of. There were several shots and close-ups of Klaus' neck which adorned her mark. She had given him a hickey earlier but must've aimed too high as it was visible above his uniform.

"This is not a laughing matter Miss Forbes." The sergeant snapped.

"You have harmed government property and this will not be tolerated." He spoke angrily. Caroline's eyes widened in fear and she nodded.

"I am sorry Sir. It won't happen again." She promised.

"You're damn right it won't happen again. That's why I'm moving you out of his troop and into one across state." He said finally before dismissing her, leaving Caroline no room for argument.

She nodded solemnly and left the office. She walked quietly and quickly to the dorms whilst trying to hold back the tears threatening to fall.

You stupid girl. The voice in her head hissed.

So much for making your father proud and following in his foot steps. The voice taunted.

A distraction, in the form of a boy. Mind you, you always did fall for anyone who gave you a challenge, or attention. The voice rang clear, she let out a whimper once she entered her darkened room. She turned and flicked the light switch on, swinging back around and letting out a startled cry when she found Klaus sat there solemnly.

"I'm sorry sweetheart." Klaus apologized, standing and striding over to Caroline who immediately fell into his warm embrace.

"It's okay, it wasn't your fault. I shouldn't have done it in the first place. What we've been doing is risky and I nearly cost you your rank." Caroline whispered, pulling him closer by the collar of his jacket.

"I heard you are being transferred." Klaus sighed, running his hands through her golden locks.

"Yeah but it doesn't matter. We'll end up together in the end. I know it." Caroline said optimistically, although her eyes held doubt.

"I promise. After this is all over. I'm coming for you Caroline. And we will live in New Orleans, where the culture and people are thriving but also where you can fulfil your dreams of a white picket fenced house with 2 ½ kids." Klaus promised, holding her close and wanting to never let her leave his embrace.

"That sounds amazing." Caroline sighed dreamily, picturing a little girl with her golden hair and Klaus' blue eyes and a little boy who would be a perfect mini-me of Klaus with his curly hair and cheeky grin.

"Until then, take this." Klaus tied one of his other necklaces around her neck and kissed her softly.

"Until then." Caroline agreed, reciprocating the kiss.

Caroline heard a knocking on her door from where she was in the kitchen. She put down the vegetable peeler, wiped her hands on the dish cloth beside her and made her way to the front. She swung the door open and her mouth dropped open in surprise at the sight of Klaus standing in the middle of the yard grinning impishly with his service dog next to him. Butch was the German Shepherd Klaus got to work with, and when Klaus' time was up so was Butch's as he was too old.

Without any hesitation Caroline hurtled full speed at him and knocked him onto the ground where she proceeded to cover his face in kisses. She sat back and ran her hand across his cheeks which had stubble growing on it, then up drawing circles on his temples then into his hair where she tugged and teased it.

The whole time Klaus lay there, letting her explore his face again whilst he explored hers. They hadn't seen each other in over 2 years and he couldn't believe his luck that he managed to track her down.

"See, I promised you we'd be back together." Klaus whispered, pushing a lock of hair that fell into her face back behind her ear.

"I can see that." She teased, looking into his blue eyes.

"You're still wearing it." He said, fingering the cord that the pendant was hanging from.

"Of course. It was our promise."

"I guess we have part of that dream of yours, and my part as we're in New Orleans. I guess the only part left to work on is those 2 ½ kids." Klaus said before chuckling when a wet nose nuzzled against the side of his face.

"This is Butch by the way. He's our dog." Klaus introduced the two.

"Who said a dog was part of my dream?" Caroline said but Klaus could tell she was teasing by the sparkle in her eyes.

"Hey, let's just call him our ½ a kid for now." Klaus defended before smiling and pulling her down for another kiss.

"God, I missed you." Caroline mumbled against his lips.

"Not as much as I missed you love." Klaus replied, kissing her again.
