You build me up and them I fall apart.
Kagomes leg bounced, was she really going to do this? she sighed and her leg stopped, no, she was being stupid.
By time the plan landed she was calmer believe it or not. Hojo was there with his dingy car and she smiled softly at him.
"Kagome is everything ok?"
"Yes, sorry to call you in a haste"
"No, its fine" He held the car door open for her and she got in.
They drove in silence for a bit "Hojo, I can't marry you"
He smiled a bit "It's ok Kagome, I kinda already knew"
She looked at him "You did?"
"Yeah, it's ok really"
She felt bad for leading him on "I'm still sorry"
"So, are you still working for Sesshomaru?"
"No, I think I want to go back to school"
He pulled up to Inu Papas house,
"What are we doing here?" She asked,
"He made me do it"
Kagome signed, she needed to get this all straight, she leaned over and kissed Hojo on the cheek.
Kagome didn't even knock, she just went right on in, Inu Papa was waiting.
"Hi"
He didn't look amused at all, in fact he looked a lot like Sesshomaru.
"That was very unwise of you, everyone was worried"
"I'm very sorry, but I needed to leave, I'm thankful to Sesshomaru I am, but I don't think this is going to work"
"I told him that"
"you did?"
"I did, once I found out he was taking a liking to you"
"Wait, what, he does not"
"He has always had a thing for you"
"Have you hit your head sir?"
"He indulges you, spars with you"
"I don't think that means he likes me"
"It does"
She shook her head "Inu Papa, your very sweet, but I think you are dreaming, as much as I would love to be part of this family, its not going to happen"
He frowned,
"I think I need a beach trip, no Sesshomaru, no work"
He sighed, then allow me to arrange that, as a parting gift"
Could she deny him?
"Maybe after school"
She said her goodnights, and went home.
She let 3 men down that night, but it was her who was falling apart. It would take a few weeks to get her affairs in order and with a scholarship from, you guest it, Inu papa, she was decided.
Kagome packed her room and said by to her family, she was off to Paris, to fashion school, with a side of history. She was happy but alone. 6 months into it she started to missing everyone, Inuyasha would call and soon and she would travel back for the birth of his daughter, which she was sure Sesshomaru was happy about, he would want to be the first to have a son.
She built herself up for the visit back. She would have to see him. She could only hope she would not fall apart at the sight of him.
She pack her best outfits, and two months later she was headed back. She had not looked Sesshomaru up, or read any news, she really had no idea what was going on with his life, what she didn't know could not hurt her, right?
She got a call an hour out, Kikyo was in labor! Kagome changed into her blue dress, sleeveless but covered her shoulders, fitted up top, with a drop waist bottom that was blue and white chevrons with a white small bow belt. Her hair was down with bouncy curls that laid just past her shoulders and she carried a medium size ju ju bag that was pink and floral. Her shoes were simple slip on blue ballet like flats that had bows on the top. A car was waiting for her and she quickly got in and sped to the hospital.
Inu Papa was very happy to see her, and she made it just in time, the baby was arriving! She did take note Sesshomaru was missing but said nothing. Mioku and Sango where waiting and hugged her tight.
Inuaysha came out and looked like he was going to pass out "Shes here!"
Everyone smile and soon, they where able to see the little human child. Inu Papa held her first and then turned to Kagome "Do you wish to hold her?"
"Oh, yes" Her cheeks turned red as she held the tiny bundle, it was a amazing feeling "Oh wow, she smells so good"
She wondered if she would be a good mother one day. "You look natural with her, your going to make a fine mom one day" Miroku stated,
She smiled bigger, and turned only to be met with his burning eye, but then she noticed the blond female holding his arm.
"One has to give up their virginity first" He spoke, and her smile went away.
She turned away and handed the baby to Sango "I'm going to see Kikyo" And she walked away.
"Sesshomaru, that was uncalled for!" His father snapped.
Inuyasha knew by the look on Kagomes face that Sesshomaru had arrived.
