Chapter 25: Let's Go To Space!

Yes ladies and gentlemen I am back with a new Power of the Omnitrix! I know you've waited a long time for this so here you go. Enjoy!

After school one Friday afternoon, Marcus Wilcox is seen exiting the Bellwood High School building. As he is leaving he is approached by his girlfriend Natalie. They greet with a kiss. But Marcus notices the sad expression on her face. "What's wrong babe?" he asks, concerned.

"Can we talk?" she asks back.

He agrees and they go walking down the sidewalk together. He asks her what's wrong again and this time she answers. "I think we should break up."

"What?!" he stammers. "Why?!"

"Because we never do anything anymore. We never see each other. And even when we do you always have to go."

"I have to save the world! In case you don't remember that's what having this on my arm entails!" He gestures to the Omnitrix.

"I know, baby. But I can't do it anymore. What's the point of being with someone if you can't spend time with them?"

"Oh my God. Do you not love me anymore?"

"That's not it! I do! I just can't stand not having you with me all the time."

"You know what? Fine. I'm outta here." Marcus checks all around him to make sure no one is watching then he activates the Omnitrix and slams down on the dial. "Fasttrack!"

Fasttrack then zooms off. As he does so he barely catches the last word he hears Natalie yell, "Wait!"

But Fasttrack is already gone. In four seconds flat he appears at his house where he transforms back into his human form. Marcus storms into his house and up the stairs to his room. He lays down on the bed and contemplates where his relationship went wrong.

While he does this his phone rings next to his bed. He answers it, thinking it's Natalie, but instead he hears his mom.

"Marcus, honey, I have big news!"

"What's that mother?"

"I'm going to get a big promotion!"

"That's great mom!"

"Yea but the thing is I have to go out-of-town to a conference in order to secure it."

"Really? How long will you be gone?"

"Two and half weeks."

"What?! Seriously?!"

"Yes. So you'll have to stay with Azmuth."

"Uh ok mom."

"Ok sweet heart I love you bye!"

"I love you to mom. Bye."

Then they hung up. Marcus went to his closet, grabbed a duffel bag and began packing.

Marcus decided to walk to Azmuth's warehouse instead of flying or running. It took him awhile but when he got there he opened the door and stepped inside. Inside he found something he didn't expect. A giant chrome colored pod. Marcus wondered around looking for his mentor then he finally called out to him. When Marcus called out a door slid open on the pod and Azmuth walked out.

"Hello, Marcus."

"Azmuth what is that thing?"

Azmuth turned and looked at the pod and then back to Marcus. "It's a space ship."

"Oh wow. I've never seen a model like that before."

"That's because i just made it."

"That's awesome! Why tho?"

"Because I have to make a trip out into space. For business."

"Awe man. Who am I supposed to stay with?"

"Marcus. I want u to come with me."

"Really?!"

"Yes. I need to bring some muscle with me on this venture. Space is a dangerous place."

"I can handle danger."

"I know. So bring your bag we're taking off tonight."

"Sweet!"

Marcus follows Azmuth inside of the pod. The pod is contained one round room with comfy couches to sleep on, a compartment to store food (it was already stocked), a computer on one side for communication and controlling the ship, and room cut off from the rest of the pod used for a bathroom. After Marcus sat down on one of the couches the run along the walls, Azmuth tapped some buttons on the computer and pod blasted off into space.
