Chapter 25 – Realising The Truth
There was fresh blood coming from her now reopened head wound but she ignored it as she fell into a protective stance in front of Chi-Chi and Gohan.
It didn't matter that she was badly injured. It didn't matter that her legs were shaking and threatening to give out on her. Bulma knew what she had to do, what she needed to do. One look at Gohan only made Bulma more determined as she moved to glare at the warriors. As she panted for air and watched the warriors approach her, Bulma tried to think of a plan that could save Kakarot's family.
"I will protect you both with my life!" She promised the two as she strengthened her stance and glared at the new fifty or so warriors smirking at her.
Just as she was about to charge forward however, a voice stopped her.
"That won't be necessary." A familiar deep voice told her as reinforcements finally arrived.
Bulma almost cried out with joy as Vegeta stood beside her, glaring at the men. He did not like seeing so much damage on the woman and he especially did not like that she was about to give her life to protect Kakarot's brat and mate.
As Bulma looked Vegeta over, it was more than obvious he had been in battle. There was so much blood on him that it was almost impossible to see his armour. Whilst the sight made her a little nauseous, Bulma was more than grateful that Vegeta and other reinforcements had arrived. "I take it you defeated them?" Bulma smirked weakly as she wiped the blood away from her lips and tried to keep standing.
Vegeta looked at her out of the corner of his eye and nodded once. "There are still many more, but we took out most of them." The state Bulma was in made him inwardly growl. Where the hell was the clown who was supposed to always protect her? As he looked around the room, Vegeta saw why Kakarot hadn't been able to help them; it was because he was preoccupied with at least a hundred of Frieza's men. "Take Kakarot's pack somewhere safe." Vegeta told her as he looked back at the men who were now cowering in fear.
Bulma's eyes widened. "What?" She yelled in disbelief, despite the fact that it felt like needles were cutting into her lungs as she did so. "Vegeta, you can't just expect me to leave you-"
"Shut up and do as I say!" Vegeta shouted right back at her, making Bulma narrow her eyes at him.
Chi-Chi picked Gohan up and held him close to her chest. "Bulma, please, I think you should listen to Vegeta. We need to get Gohan out of here."
At the sound of the little boy's name, Bulma quickly nodded before going to pick Chi-Chi up. However, just as she did, her back screamed in pain and her legs threatened to give out. She cried out as she fell towards the ground, but something stopped her fall. As she looked up, she saw Vegeta's tail wrapped around her upper arm as he glaring murderously at the crowds of men.
Just as she was about to thank him, a hand grabbed her. Her eyes widened for a second before she saw Turles standing in front of her with an emotionless expression. She gave him a small smile of appreciation as he helped her up and put her arm over his shoulder whilst he wrapped an arm around her waist. Turles looked at the two warriors following him and ordered them to grab Chi-Chi and Gohan. Before they left the room, he stole a glance to his nephew, who was obviously feeling Bulma's pain and being affected by it.
He just hoped it wouldn't stop his ability to fight any time soon, especially when they were already pretty much fucked.
"…Turles." Bulma gasped as she tried to breathe.
It was becoming harder for her to breathe the more they moved and it was scaring her. As she stole a glance at Chi-Chi and Gohan, she could see that they were also feeling the same things as she was. What was happening?
"Don't panic." He said in a low voice as they moved through the deathly silent hallways.
Things seemed to be calming down the closer they got to her lab, but Bulma knew better. She knew that it was because Frieza's soldiers were attacking in large groups and going straight for the strongest warriors. In other words, they were all heading to Vegeta, Nappa, Kakarot and whoever else was in that room with them. Bulma frowned.
"Turles, what happened… to the ship? I thought… I thought my dad set up the force field?" Her broken ribs were not helping her breathe any easier. It hurt every time she breathed in and the lack of oxygen was making her head feel lighter. Bulma tried to remain calm for Kakarot's sake since he could feel her pain and emotions, but it was so hard when it felt like she was suffocating.
"He did." Turles said as they turned a corner. "But the ship suffered damage so the air feels… strange, lighter?" He couldn't find the right word. He wasn't a scientist like his brother, Bulma and her father. He was a warrior.
Bulma nodded once. "As long as the… force field is up, t-there shouldn't be any danger."
"I know." Turles nodded.
Just as he was about to say something else, Bulma went limp in his arms, making his eyes widen a fraction. He contemplated slapping her to wake her up, but he knew it would do no good other than making his ears bleed when she did wake up.
Turles growled as he and the other warriors sped up. "We don't have time for this!"
"What's happened to Bulma?" Chi-Chi demanded as she watched Turles swing Bulma's legs up to hold her bridal style.
He didn't look back as he answered, he merely pushed himself faster. "She's lost a lot of blood and has been beaten badly, so it's no surprise that she's passed out."
Chi-Chi's eyes widened. "What about Kakarot? What will happen to him?"
Thankfully Bulma's lab came into view and the doors opened for them immediately. When Mrs Briefs saw her daughter lying unconscious in Turles's arms, she cried out and fell to her knees. She knew that the fight would be dangerous, but just the sight of her daughter was enough to make her sob, especially when Turles was moving so hurriedly.
"Stay calm," Dr Briefs told his wife as he set the tank up for Bulma. "Bulma needs us to be calm for her and get her to full health."
Bardock took Gohan from the warrior's arms and thanked him before sending the man out to go and help more civilians. The other man did the same as he put Chi-Chi onto the ground and followed him out.
"What happened to my daughter?" Mrs Briefs demanded, ignoring her husband as she pulled herself to her feet and glared at Turles.
"She was in battle, Bunny." Bardock said as he passed Gohan to Chi-Chi. "You can't expect her to be unharmed."
Gohan smiled up at Mrs Briefs, "Miss Bulma saved us."
Their eyes widened as they all looked at Chi-Chi and Gohan. "What?" Mrs Briefs gasped. "Bulma… saved you both?"
She couldn't believe it, especially after everything that had happened earlier. Mrs Briefs looked at her daughter as Turles placed her into the tank. A second later, Dr Briefs was placing the mask over her mouth and nose just before the door shut. From just one glance, it was obvious Bulma had taken a vicious beating. Would she really do that for Chi-Chi and Gohan? Gohan… yes, since he was only a child and there had always been a maternal side to Bulma, but Chi-Chi? Mrs Briefs just couldn't see Bulma risking her life to protect the woman who stole the man she loved.
Chi-Chi nodded. "Yes and she didn't have to either." She then smiled sadly. "When she saw that we were in danger, she told Kakarot to keep fighting the others and that she would protect us. When we were all surrounded, she took blows that were meant for Gohan and me." Chi-Chi's lip started to tremble as she looked at the blue haired woman in the tank. "She said… she said that she would protect us with her life."
Bardock stared at Bulma with wide eyes, as did everyone else besides Turles, Chi-Chi and Gohan. Who would have thought that Bulma would go as far as to put their lives before her own? Especially after saying to Bardock earlier that day that none of them meant anything to her. Mrs Briefs's chest swelled with pride as she watched her daughter. Even though her face was twitching with pain every couple of seconds, the way her hair was floating around her as she herself floated in the liquid, to Mrs Briefs, her daughter looked very much like an angel.
"I don't doubt that she would've." Raditz shrugged.
Dr Briefs frowned as he looked over at the Saiyan. "What do you mean?"
Again, Raditz shrugged as he walked further into the room. "It's obvious that she still cares for Kakarot, but I heard her talking to Vegeta whilst we were travelling back here. I'm not going to tell you everything she said…" Raditz frowned as he remembered her words. "But she more or less said that she accepts the fact she and Kakarot will never be together.
"Also, from what I observed from my time with them, Bulma thinks highly of Kakarot and his pack. She would give her life to protect those he loves, even if he doesn't return her feelings." Raditz then looked beyond their astonished faces and at the blue beauty that was floating in the tank. "However, since Prince Vegeta joined us… Bulma has been changing." He smirked as he shook his head a little. "She thought none of us noticed the change… but I did, maybe even Nappa too because of the bond between him and Vegeta. I may not have known her for long, but since I slept with her, I've been able to read her better."
Bardock's features twisted angrily. "Raditz, I told you not to touch her!"
Raditz looked bored as he looked at his father. "Would you have turned a girl like Bulma down if she appeared in your room wearing barely any clothing, practically begging for it?" He raised an eyebrow and when he got no answer, he smirked. "Yeah, I thought so. Besides, it only happened once."
Chi-Chi looked confused as she watched her son place his hand on the glass and look up at Bulma with admiration obvious in his eyes. "I don't understand though… how has Vegeta changed her?"
Again, Raditz shrugged. "I guess he's shown her somehow that she's not the only one who feels the way she does. Prince Vegeta may not be bipolar, but he has suffered a lot and possibly even feels the same way as her." Raditz frowned slightly as he looked from his family and then back to Bulma. "I heard her say something that made even me feel a little angry with you all, especially when I noticed it myself."
"What did she say?" Mrs Briefs asked as she tried her hardest to wipe her tears away. Hearing someone talk so highly of her daughter even after everything she had done, literally made her day.
His frown was still in place as he looked at everyone in the room. "She was right. You all treat her differently now."
Everyone in the room froze at his words. Was it true? Had they really been treating her differently?
Raditz continued. "She said before that she used to receive looks of admiration, envy, adoration and in some cases, lust." He said the last word whilst looking at Turles. Raditz then turned back to the others. "But now, even I have noticed that she only receives looks of pity and disgust. You may not think you look at her as though she is someone who needs to be protected, but you do. I think that when she went up against Prince Vegeta, she was trying to prove herself. She was trying to show you all that she didn't need protecting.
"But then Kakarot had to go and make her scream for Prince Vegeta's help, which completely undid any respect she may have gained from him. Whilst she may be trying to prove herself to you, she's trying even harder to prove herself to Vegeta, even if she won't admit it to herself." Raditz sighed again for what felt like the hundredth time that day. He didn't mind talking, but talking about sentimental stuff was annoying. Perhaps he had been spending too much time with Kakarot?
Bardock looked back at Bulma. "So what you're saying is that we've pushed her into doing what she did today?"
Raditz nodded once. "Not entirely, but yes."
Mrs Briefs sobbed as she clung onto her husband, who patted her back soothingly as he looked at his daughter.
"Spending an entire year with Bulma and Kakarot on their ship has made me see these things." Raditz stated. "Despite the obvious signs, I could tell that Bulma wasn't taking her medication."
Chi-Chi's eyes widened comically. "What?" She screamed at him as she hit his arm. "Why the hell didn't you say anything? Do you know how serious something like that is? Do you even know what Bulma is capable of?"
Bardock glared at his eldest son. "Chi-Chi is right, Raditz. Not only is she a danger to others around her, but she can be a danger to herself. Why didn't you say anything?"
Raditz shrugged. "She seemed like she was able to handle it. Although after what happened with Dodoria… I wasn't too sure and I was prepared to say something to Kakarot."
Mrs Briefs clenched her fists at his pause. "…But?"
"But nothing," Raditz said with an empty expression. "To me, Bulma proved that she could handle it."
Chi-Chi's glare intensified as she went to hit him again, only to have her wrist caught. As she looked up to yell at whoever caught her, Chi-Chi was surprised to see Kakarot by her side. Her eyes widened before she threw herself into his arms, crying happily. However, Kakarot merely patted her on the back as he kept his eyes on Raditz.
"Why?"
Raditz rolled his eyes. "Vegeta has changed her, brother. I'm surprised you haven't noticed."
Kakarot frowned in confusion as he looked over at Bulma. That was the reason why he was here. Although she was no longer in any physical danger, her pain was still extreme and it wasn't helping him at all in the fight. In the end, Vegeta had more or less told him to fuck off. So he did. Whilst on his way to Bulma's lab, however, he took out as many of Frieza's men as possible, which was why it took him longer to get there than it did the others.
Bardock's eyes widened a fraction. "You didn't notice, Kakarot?"
"No." He answered quietly.
Raditz shrugged. "I'm not surprised; you were one of the many people who changed how you look at her."
Kakarot growled at Raditz as he took a step forward. "I didn't!" He denied angrily. "I was looking out for her, I have always been looking out for her and doing what I think is best for her!"
"By looking out for her… you mean treating her like a weakling?" Raditz raised his eyebrow. "She is not weak, Kakarot. Even you should know that. Look at what she went through to protect your pack!" His voice started to rise as he glared at his brother. "You haven't noticed anything because you're too busy looking at her as mentally ill! For an entire year on that ship, you were hoping that she would just snap back into 'your' Bulma. Kakarot, she will never be that Bulma again." Raditz said the last sentence seriously as he lowered his voice. He could see the effects his words were having on his younger brother. "You have been suffocating her with your possessiveness and you have failed to observe what I have."
Kakarot's teeth clenched. "And what is that?"
Raditz looked bored as he spoke again. "You have failed to notice that she has been involved with Vegeta for just under a month now."
Bardock's eyes widened. "How can you tell?"
"I watched Vegeta grow up, father. I've been by his side since he was four years old. It's not hard to miss the fact he's less cold now. That and the fact that the second Bulma needed his help, he came to her side. Vegeta doesn't help anyone unless they're his own people."
Chi-Chi gasped as she remembered something. "Bulma even admitted it right in front of me! When one of those creeps was getting a little too close and clearly touching her inappropriately, she said something that made him almost wet himself!"
Mrs Briefs looked wary. "What did she say, Chi-Chi?"
"Miss Bulma said she's with Vegeta, the Prince of all Saiyans!" Gohan smiled happily.
The others looked down at the young boy in astonishment. How long had he been stood with them, clinging onto Chi-Chi's leg? Even Chi-Chi looked surprised that he was there! The dark haired woman ruffled her son's hair lovingly as she nodded at the others.
"It's true," Chi-Chi smiled, "Bulma said she's in a relationship with Vegeta."
Kakarot frowned. "She can't be! I haven't picked up on any changes in her. Vegeta's scent isn't on her and her scent isn't on him."
Raditz rolled his eyes as though it was obvious. "That is because they haven't…" His eyes drifted to Gohan before he looked back up to Kakarot and grimacing. "They haven't done 'it' yet."
Everyone grew silent. Not a single one of them had any idea what to say or how to reply. When the ship shook again and groaned, Bardock quickly walked over to the emergency control panel. As he typed in some commands, the ship started to change its course. Since most of Frieza's warriors were now on board of their ship, it meant that the enemy ships were empty and easy to hack into and move.
The lights in the room started to flicker as the ship shook and groaned again. Kakarot's eyes snapped up to Bulma's tank as it started to tip forward but both Raditz and he were quick to catch it before it fell. His eyes darted over to his father and Bulma's parents, who looked shocked.
"Do something!" He yelled at them and they all immediately got to work.
Again, the ship shook and groaned but this time, the entire ship blacked out.
"What's happening?" Gohan whimpered as he clung onto his mother's leg. Thanks to his Saiyan senses, he could see perfectly fine, but it still scared him.
Bardock's eyes scanned the room and he quickly rushed over to the control panel and switched on the emergency lights. A second later, the lights flickered to life once again. "Just stay calm." Bardock told them before looking at Bulma's tank. "Take her out of the tank."
"What?" Chi-Chi demanded.
Dr Briefs put his hand on his wife's shoulders as she went to stop Kakarot from releasing Bulma. "Bunny, Bulma needs to be taken out of the tank. Even though the lights are working, nothing else will be functioning properly and if we keep her in the tank, she'll suffocate from lack of oxygen."
"Well take her out then!" Bunny screamed hysterically and Chi-Chi quickly nodded in agreement.
With the help of Kakarot, Raditz placed the tank onto the ground and then ripped the door off of its hinges since it was no longer working. As soon as the door was off, Bulma sat up, ripped the mask off of her face and gasped for air, surprising them all. How long had she been conscious for? Was it because the tank switched off?
Bulma grabbed the sides of the tank as she panted for air. "Damn it!" She sounded breathless as she spoke. "And you all wonder why I hate those things."
Despite the situation, they chuckled. With the help of Kakarot, Bulma was lifted out of the tank and placed onto the table where she led back and took deep breaths. Not a second passed before both Dr Briefs and Bardock were beside her and checking her injuries to see how much the tank had healed.
"How is he?"
Bardock looked up from Bulma's stomach and almost froze at the amount of emotion that was burning in her eyes. Since when did she show so much emotion? "Prince Vegeta is still fighting."
Bulma bit her bottom lip as she looked away and down at the ground. With her free hand, she ran her fingers through her hair before pushing her father and Bardock away and sitting up. There was still a lot of pain, but she ignored it as she put her hair up and stood. "I'm going back out there."
"No you're not!" Mrs Briefs yelled, but her daughter ignored her.
When a hand grabbed her shoulder, Bulma stopped and looked up to see Raditz behind her. "Let me go, Raditz. I can't just sit around doing nothing, I have to help him. You just said you can read me and have learned a lot about me, then why can't you see that I can't stay here? I can't stay here when I know that Vegeta needs me."
"You won't be any help to him right now, Bulma." Raditz said honestly as he shut the door and pulled her back into the room. When she was about to argue, he silenced her. "If it looks as though Vegeta is having trouble, Nappa will intervene. Didn't you learn that from your arguments with Vegeta on the ship?"
Bulma frowned. "Yeah, but Nappa didn't get involved earlier when Vegeta and I were fighting."
Raditz shrugged. "Perhaps it was because he knew that your fight wasn't serious."
The look Raditz was giving her made Bulma furrow her brows and look away again. Maybe he was right; maybe he really could read her a lot better now. After all, Raditz was a very observant person. "Whatever." She muttered before pushing him away and going to the control panel. "If I can't help him out there, I'll help him in here. Everybody, grab onto something."
They did as she demanded and not a second passed before it felt like the entire ship was shaking.
"What have you done?" Turles demanded as it continued to shake.
Bulma rolled her eyes. "I only sent off some explosions towards the other ships."
Everyone looked out of the window as the enemy ships seemed to blast off into the distance before blowing up. As the aftershock wave reached them, Kakarot grabbed onto his family whilst his tail wrapped around Bulma's waist, refusing to let go until he knew it was safe.
Bulma said a quiet thank you as she pulled out of his hold. She then spoke louder to the others. "That took out over half of their ships, but we can't risk sending off anymore, especially with our own ship being in the condition it's in."
Kakarot nodded. "What should we do?"
Bulma looked out of the window once more. "We should land on the closest planet like Vegeta told us to. We need to find a big planet that'll be able to hold headquarters but if not, we will start by sending the civilian women and children down to the planet with a couple of warriors first. We don't know what sort of planet we will be landing on, so it's better to be safe than to be sorry."
The group nodded; silently surprised that Bulma had managed to come up with such a plan so quickly.
"And what should we do with the ship if we have to abandon it? We can't just leave it to float around in space." Raditz said as he folded his arms.
Bulma rolled her eyes. "Nobody said anything about abandoning headquarters, Raditz. Think of it as parking it just inside of the planet's atmosphere. If we switch the reflectors on, then no passing ship will find us."
"Good plan." Bardock nodded before turning back to the control panel and typing in some coordinates. "We will be landing in about half an hour. Until then, we will have to sit tight. Kakarot, can you fight?"
Kakarot frowned and shook his head. "Bulma's still in quite a lot of pain and it's too much of a distraction whilst I fight. That's why I stopped, Vegeta told me to get lost and protect you all instead."
She couldn't help but feel bad. Fighting was one of the very few things Kakarot enjoyed and now, he couldn't even do that because of her! Shaking her head, Bulma rid herself of the thoughts. It was his own fault that he could no longer fight until she was healed. If he had not done the ritual, he wouldn't be in this mess. Again, Bulma shook her head. She had to stay focused! It was dangerous to get caught up in her thoughts, especially when they were under attack. How could she-
"Bulma," Bardock repeated himself as the ship shook again.
"What?" She snapped at him. She didn't appreciate his tone of voice.
Bardock narrowed his eyes. "Stay focused! I need both you and your father to help me keep the ship on the right course."
Bulma quickly nodded before rushing over to the control panel once again. Just as she started to push buttons to keep the force field engaged, Kakarot was by her side. He wasn't looking at her, but he was glaring at her hands instead.
"There's something I need to ask you."
Her eyes narrowed. "Can't it wait until after this?"
He shook his head. "No. It can't."
"Fine," She sighed, but never took her eyes off of the control panel as she continued her work. "What do you need to ask me?"
Even though he could see she was busy, he couldn't wait. Ever since Raditz had mentioned it, Kakarot hadn't been able to get it out of his head. Since he returned and reacquainted himself with his mate, his memories came back. It hadn't been until Chi-Chi returned his bite that their minds were reconnected and she showed him everything that had happened. He had been shocked, saddened, angered and happy all at the same time and it confused him. Truth be told, it took him a while to get his head around it, but now, he needed to know Bulma's side of things. "Did you sleep with Raditz and Vegeta?"
Bulma's eyes widened and for a second, her hands paused, but when Bardock yelled at her to stop daydreaming, she got back to work. Her cheeks held a light blush as she kept her eyes on her hands. "I only slept with Raditz." She said quietly.
"Why?"
"He was the only one at the time who didn't pity me." Bulma told him honestly with a shrug. "He told you and the others that he reads me better than you guys… and I believe that he does. He grew up with Vegeta, so he kind of understands me, even if it's only a little. Vegeta and I… we both had to go through such dramatic changes, even if they weren't exactly the same kind. He truly knows what it's like to feel as though you're all alone with no way out."
Kakarot lowered his voice so that the others wouldn't hear him. "Do you regret sleeping with him now that you're with Vegeta?"
Bulma quickly shook her head and looked around the room to see if anyone was listening. When she found no one was looking at her and Kakarot, she spoke. "No, I don't regret sleeping with Raditz." She then gave Kakarot a small smile. "He made me feel wanted. Sure, I think Vegeta might not be entirely happy that I slept with you and Raditz, but… I don't know. I just can't bring myself to regret being with either of you."
"He made you feel wanted?" Kakarot repeated with a frown.
She nodded. "It's not one of my proudest moments, but Raditz was telling the truth. I did turn up at his apartment and practically beg him for sex. I felt ashamed of my actions when I got home, but I didn't regret it, not a single second of it. I-" She shook her head as she tried to find the right words. "I don't know… that night that I spent with Raditz, the feeling of being alone and worthless eased up a little."
"What about Vegeta?"
A smile brightened her face at just the sound of his name. "When I'm with Vegeta, I don't feel like I'm just wanted, I feel like he needs me just as much as I need him."
Kakarot smiled down at Bulma. "Then you should be with him."
Her eyes snapped up to his face in shock, "W-what?"
"It's obvious that it is more than just lust between you both." Kakarot shrugged as Bulma went back to helping Bardock and her father with the ship. "And you won't find someone more worthy than a Prince who will always be able to protect you."
Forgetting completely about the ship and her injuries, Bulma giggled happily before throwing her arms around Kakarot's neck and hugging him tightly. "Thank you!" She yelled at him, despite the fact he was right next to her, in her arms. "I'm sorry for being such a pain in the ass," Bulma then said quietly in his ear when she felt him return her hug. "And your approval really does mean a lot to me."
Mrs Briefs's heart warmed at the sight before her and even Chi-Chi gave the two a small smile. Even though she still didn't like the thought of them being close, she was no longer as insecure as she had been. Seeing Bulma reject her husband despite her feelings for him, and then going on to risk her own life to protect his family, made Chi-Chi see that she didn't need to worry about Bulma stealing Kakarot away from her. No, Bulma had Vegeta now.
"Bulma," Bardock growled. "As touching as it is to see you two have finally made up, we need to keep control of the ship."
Bulma nodded once before letting go of Kakarot and getting back to work. However now as she continued with her work, there was a bright, happy smile on her face.
Perhaps things were finally starting to look up for her.
A/N - I know, I know, it's a day late! I'm sorry about that, but my laptop was in repairs and then it wouldn't connect to the Internet. I've finally got it to connect, but not to our wireless... I'm using the neighbours and they tend to switch it off before leaving or going to bed. So most of the time, I'm left without Internet. I think I just need to buy a new laptop to be honest.
Somebody told me that they want more Vegeta and Bulma moments and now that I've read back on my previous chapters, I've realised that it's more of a GokuxBulma fic! Sorry about that haha, I didn't even notice. When I write, I tend to just go with it. Anyways, in the next couple of chapters, I promise there will be a lot more Vegeta and Bulma moments and chapters.
Oh! I watched the Battle of Gods movie, you know the new DBZ one? It's amazing! It won't be dubbed for the next couple of years apparently, but I watched the English subbed version on animeget. I think one of my favourite moments was when Vegeta was all like 'MY BULMA!" haha, that made me laugh. You should all go and watch it!
Preview to the next chapter:
Just as the last escape pod left, headquarters started to shake again. In an instant, both Raditz and Kakarot were by her side.
"It's not the battles, is it?" It sounded more like a statement as Raditz spoke to her.
She shook her head. "No."
"Then what is it?" Kakarot asked with wide eyes. "What is happening?"
Bulma looked back over at the control panel, the flashing lights were continuing to grow as more of the ships engines started to give out. "The attack was a distraction for whoever got into the ship's main control system. If we don't get everyone left to evacuate now, then we're all going to get caught up in it and we might not make it."
HOPE YOU ALL ENJOYED AND DON'T FORGET TO REVIEW! :-)
