by the way, in the last chapter I made a mistake about Two-Bit's kid sister Lizzie, I forgot I already had Kat so make it that Lizzie is their ten year old cousin who had started to live with them
"So Dallas is gonna come over?" Cherry asked Madeline.
The two Valance sisters were in Madeline's room; the older of the two in front of her mirror and the younger of the two lying on her sister's bed, helping her sister decide what to wear. Madeline was doing her hair in front of the mirror while Cherry helped her to decide if the outfit she had on- which was the fifth outfit she tried- looked good. She currently had on a skirt that ended a little above her knees and was made of denim. Her shirt was a button up that had short sleeves and showed a bit f cleavage.
Madeline nodded. "Yes he is. You're gonna be out with Sodapop tonight, right?" she asked her younger sister.
"Yeah, I am. A double date with his friend and his girlfriend… hey Madeline, do Mom and Dad know you have those clothes?"
Madeline smirked a bit at her sister. "Nope, I bought 'em in Norman while I was shopping with Leyna and a couple other friends once. Don't tell them though, ok?"
Cherry nodded and sat up on her sister's bed. "Don't worry, I won't tell."
"Thanks, Cherry."
Cherry nodded, got off her sister's bed and eft the room and went to her own. She changed into the clothes she had laid out on her bed for her and Soda's date: blue jeans where the waist was high and covered up to just above her belly button, a red button up blouse with no sleeves that was loosely tucked into her jeans, and her shoes were red canvas Keds sneakers. She also had a cream colored cardigan, knowing it could get cold at night when the sun went down. Her hair was let down but she had two small braids at the front of her head that were tied together at the back of her head with a very small hair band and two bobby pins.
Cherry wasn't really sure where her and Soda would be going, but she did know it was a double date with Two-Bit and his girlfriend Kathy. She also knew that Soda had given them permission to choose the date, and while Cherry had happily agreed to let the other couple pick what they were doing, Two-Bit had told her, "You'll get the full Greaser experience." She wasn't quite exactly what he meant when he said that, but Soda had told her to expect anything involving going to a party to his friend suggesting they all go skinny dipping at two in the morning in the lake. Her only reaction was a laugh.

"Please tell me you didn't choose nothin' too extreme for tonight?" Soda asked, more like pleaded to his friend.
Soda and Two-Bit were on their way to pick up Kathy then to pick up Cherry. The redhead wasn't too fond of them picking her up at her house- not that she was embarrassed by them- she was just nervous for their safety while being in that part of town, especially since Kathy would be with them and was a girl. After they had asked a few questions, it was established that there weren't too many families on her street that were home and were away on some sort of summer vacation out of town. Not to mention that her own parents weren't home and were out of state for two weeks.
"Relax," Two-Bit answered, "Kathy helped so it ain't too extreme."
"What's the plan, then?" Soda asked him cautiously.
"You said Cherry ain't never been to a rodeo, right? Its summer and it just opened last week so we figured, grab a bite to eat then head to the rodeo. Maybe after that's over tonight, catch a party over at Buck's, cause you know he has one every night in the summer."
"You remember what happened at Buck's last time, don't ya?"
Two-Bit rolled his eyes. "Soda, will you relax, man? Kathy and Cherry are cool now, Evie's out the picture, and Kat's cool with Cherry too. I know what I'm doin', alright?"
Soda let out a small sigh. "Alright, fine. I give."
"Thank you. Now was that so hard?"
"Harder than you think."

After picking up Kathy, the three headed over to the West Side. Neither Two-Bit or Kathy had really ever been into the West Side of town; Two-Bit was a bit excited while Kathy was a bit nervous. The fact that she had never been there, not to mention all the stories she had heard about nice girls from the East Side- which were hard to find- getting beat or raped or something if they were alone and went into the West Side. Sure, she had met Cherry and had established that not all people from the West Side were so bad, but there were still some of those people that were. The whole thing made her heart pound a little faster and a little jumpy, though she guessed Cherry was the same way when she came into the East Side.
When they got to the West Side of town a few minutes later after picking Kathy up, Soda got out of the car when they pulled up to a large house. As Soda walked up to the house, Kathy moved up to the front seat next to sit in the passenger's seat next to her boyfriend. A minute or two later, Kathy saw Soda quickly kiss the girl who came out from the house and walked with her toward the car.
Kathy smiled at Soda and Cherry as they got into the backseat of the car. "Hey Cherry," she smiled. Cherry smiled back and said "hey."

"So what's the plan?" Cherry asked Soda as Two-Bit drove off.
"Since you never been to the rodeo and it just started last week, we're goin' there," Soda answered, "Then after that, depending on what happens, maybe go to a party at Buck's."
Cherry nodded and smiled, "That sounds fun."
Soda gave a confused look. "It does?"
"Yeah. To be honest, I was thinking of asking if we could go to the rodeo since I've never been to one. My parents would never take me or even let me, and I think it would be fun to go so I was gonna ask if we could while they're away."
"What about Buck's? I thought you didn't like it there."
Cherry shook her head a bit and chuckled. "No, I didn't like what Evie did that night to me. How she kept playing around and everything else. I did want to go back sometime."
"You did?"
"Of course I did. I wanted to give it another try before I actually said if I liked it or not. The first time I was there wasn't a good first time-"
"Still sorry about that, by the way," Kathy said from the front seat, causing the two to laugh.
'But I wanna see what it's like to be there and not have any games or tricks played on me," Cherry shrugged.
Before Soda could say anything, Two-Bit spoke up. "You aren't gonna start spooning back there, right? Cause I got a sister and a cousin, both girls, who sit back there, ya know," he said from the front driver's seat.
"You make Kat sit in the back seat? She's our age," Kathy said with a confused tone.
"I don't make her sit back there, my little cousin does."

Dallas walked up the street and to his girlfriend's house. It wasn't dark out yet since it was summer, so if anyone else was out, they'd probably freak out that Dallas Winston was within twenty feet or so. They'd probably call the cops since he was walking on the West Side, and with his reputation, they probably thought he was gonna break in to some house.
Thankfully for both him and Madeline, no one was around. With the exception of a few people, Madeline and Cherry were the only ones on their street who weren't away with their parents. Only about half of the West Side had homes where the family was not on vacation, but by the end of the summer, the current half still home would be just returning from their own vacations.
Dallas walked up to the house that Madeline had told him where she lived. He knocked on the front door, hoping he hit it hard enough that she heard the knock. He raised his hand to knock on the door again but stopped himself and left it fall back at his side when he heard footsteps coming from inside the house and heard the doorknob start to click as it turned. When the door opened, there stood Madeline, who smiled at him. "Hey babe," she smiled. She had been his only girlfriend who was allowed to call him "babe".
Dallas was anything but a romantic. The first time he had ever told Madeline that he loved her, it felt weird. But not a bad weird, he kinda liked the feeling. He always thought he'd never be able to love anyone or anything. When he had first realized he loved her, he got himself into a fight with the Shepard gang just to make sure he wasn't dreaming or something. The first time they broke up, that was the first time he ever felt heartbreak- but he still loved her. When he found her again and they started to go out again, he felt happiness. It was weird, but that same good weird when he figured out he loved Madeline.
"Hey Maddie," he smirked a bit- Madeline had only saw him genuinely smile once, and that was when he had told her that he loved her, and she had said it back. Otherwise, it was always his signature smirk. "You wanted me to come over?"
She nodded and let him. As he walked in, she closed the door and led him to her living room. "Yeah. My parents aren't in town so I figured, why not?"
"What about Leyna?"
"She's on a date with some guy she met in town the other day."
"So, we're alone?"
Madeline chuckled. "Yeah. At least until you have to leave to compete in an hour."
"You're gonna come to watch, right?" Dallas asked her.
"Of course I am, are you crazy?"
He smirked again, which caused her mouth to form a small smile like always. "You know I am," he said quietly.
Dallas leaned toward his girlfriend and pressed his lips against hers, and she returned the favor. He cupped her chin with his hands and she placed hers as the back of his head and played with the edges of his hair. Madeline would be lying if this wasn't one of those moments where she thought about breaking her promise to herself. She wanted to stop, but continued to let herself fall in love with Dallas all over again. They got closer… closer… closer…
Dallas pulled away from the kiss, but not hastily, rather gently; Madeline was actually disappointed that he did. He wanted her, but not in the way she wanted him for the moment. He looked into her eyes like he only had a few times in the total amount of four years they had been going out. Madeline ran her hand through his hair, "Dallas, what's wrong? Why'd you stop?"
He kept silent as he felt his heart start to beat faster in his chest.
His silence worried her and she sat up and pressed the palm of her hand against his forehead. "Dallas, do you feel alright?"
He stayed silent.
"Dallas, stop this. You're scaring me, now what's wrong?"
"Marry me," was his answer.
CLIFFHANGER YOU BUMS!
No I'm kidding, you're not bums- at least the bad kind cause I only insult the people I care about but that's when it's called "busting" and I'm just playing and I'm not serious… but I'm not kidding about the cliffhanger.
Is it a good cliffhanger? I kept going back and forth on what kind of thing I should do for a cliffhanger and I decided on that.
Anyway, how are you all?
My birthday was this past Wednesday and I'm finally sixteen! In the state of new jersey (where I live) I can legally get a driver's permit and I can finally get a job! I have been looking for a job for the past two summers ever since I was fourteen you have no idea how happy I am
Oh and guess what- I started watching days of our lives. Do I have a little shame? Yeah a little bit, but not enough that I won't keep up with the show. To think, it just started cause my friends Alex and Sara told me about the show so I was kinda already brought up to date, but James Read is in the show so I wanted to see him in it but his character kinda scares me XD it's weird thinking thirty years ago he played George Hazard, Orry Main's (Patrick Swayze) best friend in North and South.
Anyway, hope you liked the chapter! Peace from all the hippies of the world! =^-^=
