Here we go:)
Sorry if some parts are confusing...
"Today is the day" Tony reminded the children for the sixth time.
"Great" Bruce muttered sarcastically under his breath before taking a spoonful of 'Lucky Charms'.
"So when are we going to be adults again?" Steve asked as he picked up a slice of toast.
"We can do it after we've finished eating" Tony ensured the boy before taking a sip of his coffee.
"And cleaned up" Pepper added. Tony looked her and raised his eyebrow. "What? I don't want them to become adults and then have to clean up their mess from breakfast."
"Fine after we've cleaned up." Tony announced.
They finished eating their breakfast and began to clean up the kitchen, when the floor started to vibrate slightly. "Do you feel the tower moving?" asked the concerned Tony Stark, in which everyone agreed.
Suddenly the windows were in shatters on the floor, and the Red Skull stood upon them. "Sorry was I interrupting something?"
"You had almost 2 months to think of a genius plan to do something evil and all you did was break my window?" Tony shamed the Skull.
"Oh and this" the Skull grinned as the HYDRA robots started crawling up the tower using the eight metal legs.
"Get Pepper out of here" Tony instructed Phil, Maria, and the two fled with Pepper. Tony then called his suit and it started to assemble on his body.
"Awesome!" Clint shouted as he admired the complete Iron Man suite Tony was now wearing.
Tony saw the robots draw closer to him and his young teammates. "Quickly run into that room over there, the heavy doors should protect you from the robots." He instructed.
The children started to run to the room Tony had instructed them to hide in, however the Robots had started to attack Tony (who was fighting back with his repulsor rays) and we closely drawing in on them. The children were nearly there when all of a sudden Natasha tripped and fell causing her to scream, however Steve picked her up and carried her into the safe room. "Is everyone okay?" Steve asked.
In the Robot Infested part of the tower...
"Hey" Tony greeted Rhodey over the phone.
"Tony where have you been the last two months?" Rhodey asked.
"I need you to get to the tower now. I'll explain everything when you get here." Tony instructed his friend as he destroyed more robots with his repulsor ray.
"Okay I'll be there is 10 minutes tops."
"Oh yeah wear your War Machine suit it's way more awesome." Tony hung up and attacked more of the mechanical creatures however the more he fought, there was more fighting back.
"You don't mind I use your tower to set up a bomb do you?" The Skull walked towards the elevator that would send him to the roof of the tower. Tony tried to stop him but was overtaken by a swarm of HYDRA robots.
Back to the children…
"What room are we in?" Clint asked.
"I think we are in the uniform room." Steve informed Clint as he analysed the Avenger's uniforms, his shield, Hawkeye's bow, and various guns for Natasha and Thor's hammer in the corner of the room.
"Awesome, this bow has way cooler arrows." Clint announced as he admired Hawkeye's bow.
"Thank you for helping me back there" Natasha thanked Steve in a slight whisper.
"No problem, we are like family so we need to help each other." Natasha gave Steve a small hug before standing back up and observing her surroundings.
Back to the fighting …
"Hey what is going on here?" Rhodey asked as he entered through the smashed window in his War Machine suit.
"Red Skull, evil robots, a bomb." Tony forced some of the robots of his body. "Well help me." Rhodey started to help destroy the robots and Stark continued to do what he was doing. "Make sure none of these things get into that room." Tony pointed to the room the children were currently in.
"Is Pepper in there?"
"No the team."
"Shouldn't they be fighting with us?"
"They got turned into kids" Tony grabbed another robot and crushed it in his hand.
"How…"
"Rhodey shut up and fight."
Back to the children…
The robots could be heard scratching their metal limbs against the heavy door and the sound of Tony and Rhodey struggling. "We can't just stay here when they are getting attacked by those things out there" Steve faced the group.
"What do you propose we do?" Thor asked.
Steve thought for a moment before an idea hit him "The lightning." The others looked at him before turning to the God of Thunder "Thor I need you to call the lightning with your hammer," Steve told the God.
Thor's face struck with fear "I do not want to hold it, what if I hurt one of you."
"You don't have to. I just need you to get the tiniest piece of lightening to touch me." Steve explained.
"You will kill yourself," Natasha warned Steve.
"I will be fine" Steve reassured Natasha before turning to Thor "Will you do that for me?" Thor nodded and Steve smiled.
Steve walked over to the Captain America uniform and started to climb in the very large suit. "What are you doing?" Clint asked as Steve dressed himself.
"Well if I become an adult again, my clothes are not going to fit me." Steve finally finished dressing and looked down at the suit that buried him. "Hopefully it won't be as lose in a couple of minutes."
They all walked over to the hammer and Thor started to focus onto the hammer, nothing happened at first however, after a minutes a few sparks started to flicker. Steve braced himself before touching the hammer, which sent horrific electrical shocks throughout his body. His body hit the floor and his body twitched for a moment before going perfectly still.
The children ran over to his body and sat beside him. "Steve?" Clint asked worryingly. There was no answer from Steve who laid motionless on the floor. Bruce checked his pulse before looking up at the children in sorrow and shaking his head. "Steve?" Clint's voice squeaked before bursting into tears. Natasha hugged the crying boy and tears started to roll down her cheeks.
"It's all my fault" Thor shouted in anger before bursting into tears.
Bruce sniffed and put his hand onto Thor's shoulder 'It's not your fault Thor".
"It was my lightening" Thor sniffed. "Why does everyone I care about die: Steve, my mother, Loki" the young God cried harder.
"Thor, Steve asked you do it, we warned not to" Natasha sniffed.
"NOW LISTEN HERE THOR, THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT!" Bruce shouted, tears bursting down his face. "IF IT IS ANYONE'S FAULT ITS THAT RED SKULL GUY'S. HE IS THE ONE THAT STARTED THIS MESS AND LET LOOSE THESE GOD DAM ROBOTS. IF IT WEREN'T FOR HIM THOR, STEVE WOULDN'T HAVE DIED BECAUSE WE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN IN THIS MESS IN THE FIRST PLACE!" He turned to Natasha in rage "DON'T YOU DARE MAKE IT SOUND THAT IT WAS A STUPID DECISION FOR STEVE TO TOUCH THE HAMMER BECAUSE HE WAS ONLY TRYING TO BE WHAT HE IS A HERO. HE DID IT TO PROTECT US FROM THOSE ROBOTS BECAUSE HE TAKES CARE OF HIS FAMILY. HE WAS THE BRAVEST PERSON I KNEW AND HELL I DON'T THINK ANY OF US COULD HAVE DONE WHAT HE DID." Bruce dropped to his knees and more tears poured down his face. He removed his jacket and placed it over Steve's face "Goodbye Steve."
Suddenly the window smashed and a man rolled into the room. He scanned the children's crying faces before shaking his head. The man walked over to the body, which had caught his eye several moments before. He peaked under Bruce's jacket to find Steve's young and now pale body motionless on the floor. After replacing the jacket back over his face, he looked at the children "Who did it?" Silence. "I asked who did it" he angered as he walked closer to the children.
"It was I," Thor told him nervously, his eyes red from crying.
The man went to grab the God of Thunder but Clint jumped in front of him. "Wait don't hurt him, it was an accident. Steve wanted Thor to electrocute him so he would become an adult again but it didn't work. We tried to stop him but he is so stubborn." Clint pleaded tears rushing down his face.
"I've heard" the male muttered before glancing back at Steve's body.
"Who are you?" Clint sniffed..
"Bucky… I think."
Okay so the action has started and Bucky has finally returned :) and Steve is dead :( or is he?
