Both Jen's parents were still in shock to see Michael here but didn't know what to say neither did Michael.

"It can't be him." Mr. Scotts said.

"It is him dad, he's back." Jen said.

"I can't believe your actually here Michael." Mrs. Scotts said hugging her son.

"I'm glad to see you have missed me mom." Michael said.

"Honey, don't you want to say anything to our son?" Mrs. Scotts asked her husband, he didn't know what to say to him.

"Dad. Aren't you happy that he's home?" Jen asked and could tell her father didn't want to look at him.

"Dad. I know this hasn't been easy for you, it hasn't been easy for me either. Ever since I moved out, I didn't know what to do anymore I was a complete mess for the past two years, you haven't thought I had forgot the only family I have, I always thought you would someday try to find me telling me to come home saying that you missed me. If you think I'm still drinking I'm not, I have been sober for a couple of months now, I haven't even touched a single drink ever since I came back, I already got some help and I fully recovered I don't blame myself for what happen anymore. Look dad all I want is for us to start over again, let's forget about the past and let that all go, I want us to be close like use to. What I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry for everything, will you forgive me?" Michael tried to let his father to say something to him. "If you want I'll leave and you won't ever see me again." Michael was almost heading towards the door thinking his father won't forgive him.

"Michael." Michael stopped when he heard his father calling his name. "Please don't go, you are home where you belong." Mr. Scotts said, when they both hugged.

"I am home and this time I'm not going anywhere, I'm staying." Michael said.

"I forgive you for everything." Mr. Scotts said.

"I'm glad your staying Michael or else who am I going to find someone to watch over Sky while I go back to work." Jen said.

"Huh! You want me to babysit him?" Michael asked.

"Of course, I already told Captain Logan I found someone to babysit Sky and I can finally go back to work tomorrow." Jen answered.

"Jennifer are you sure he can handle taking care of a baby?" Mrs. Scotts asked.

"Yes, and he's great with him." Jen answered.

"Don't you think he needs a real job?" Mr. Scott asked.

"I know he does, but I'll come home and watch him while he goes out looking for a job don't you think?" Jen said.

"Well I can see why not." Mrs. Scotts said. "What do you think honey?"

"As long as he can find a job then yes." Mr. Scotts said.

"Thank you dad, I won't let none of you down." Michael said.

"Now come on, let's set up the table and eat as a family." Jen said, as everyone was setting things up preparing for dinner. Jen was happy that her family was complete and that her parents had forgiven Michael.

3 Months Later

Three months have passed since Jen's brother returned home and Jen could finally go back to work. Jen was relieved that she can go back to work and could take of her son too after work while her brother goes out looking for a job, though she hasn't heard from anyone when Alex was going to return. Michael had been taking good care of his sister's son, and was started to become close to his father again. Things couldn't have gone better for everyone.

"I'm home. Anyone here?" Jen came home from work wondering where everyone is.

"Hey Jenny your home." Michael said while he was in the kitchen. "I was just making something to eat. How was work?"

"It was fine you know same old same old." Jen answered. "How about you any luck?"

"Nothing, I've been through every part of the city and there are no openings available. It's like no one is going to hire me." Michael answered.

"Don't worry, you will just be patient okay." Jen said.

"Okay." Michael responded.

"How has Sky been?" Jen asked.

"You know, sleeping, crying, changing his diaper and feeding him his formula, other than that he's been fine." Michael answered, when he looked at Jen a little sad. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, it's just a lot in my mind." Jen responded.

"Jenny you know you can tell me anything." Michael said.

"I've asked everyone around at Time Force when Alex was going to come back wherever he went and nobody knows, it's been at least six months and no one has heard from him." Jen said.

"Your worried about him aren't you?" he asked.

"Well yes, I mean he is my friend." she answered.

"Why do I get the feeling that there's something your not telling me." Michael said.

"Something kind of happened between me and him." Jen said.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"I really don't want to remember but I'll tell you." Jen took a deep breath and was ready to tell her brother. "While I was nine months pregnant, I didn't know what dad and Alex were doing in your old room they always kept it locked not wanting me to see what was inside. When Alex came he wanted to see him I asked him what have they both been up to not wanting me know, so he had no choice but to tell me and opened the door which was nursery room they have been working on, it was actually going to be a surprise for me, but I kind of ruined it, I really did love it, though I was still thinking about Wes, he was trying to make me feel better and that was when he...kissed me."

"He kissed you?" Michael said surprised. "Why would he kiss you?"

"It meant nothing okay, I don't love him anymore. Wes would always be in my heart." Jen responded.

"But why would he do that? A friend doesn't just kiss you for no reason." Michael said.

"I don't know why, he just did, even if he said he didn't mean to kiss me, but I don't know if I should believe him." Jen said.

"Sounds to me he's still in love with you." Michael said.

"Like I said I'm not in love with him anymore." Jen said.

"Let me ask you this if he still loves you, would you give him a chance?" Michael asked.

"I don't know if I could." Jen answered.

"Is there anything else you want to tell me?" he asked.

"Before I had to leave the hospital I had to fill out Sky's birth certificate, he asked me if he could sign his name on it, I was going to tell him it wouldn't be a good idea, but the doctor came in and didn't get a chance to tell him so I had no choice but to let him sign it." Jen answered.

"Did the doctor thought you two were married?" he asked.

"Yes, and wondered why I gave Sky my last name, Alex told the doctor that we were only friends." she answered.

"Were your friends upset when you told them?" he asked.

"They were because I didn't tell them the truth, but they eventually forgave me and knew they couldn't stay mad at me." she answered.

"Don't worry so much he'll come back, I'm sure nothing bad has happened to him, okay." Michael said.

"Okay, but you haven't met him though." Jen said.

"I know I haven't like I said whenever he comes back I'll get a chance to meet him." Michael said when they both heard Sky crying. "You get him, I'm busy with dinner."

"Since when do you know how to cook?" Jen asked.

"I learned while staying at the clinic." Michael answered.

"I can cook too you know." Jen said.

"I've seen the way you cook and it's terrible." Michael said.

"It's called trying, not my fault I can't get the hang of it." Jen said.

"I'll teach you whenever I have time, but right now check on your son." Michael said as Jen went to go check on her son.

"Hey it's okay mommy is here. Did you miss me? I know you did." Jen held her son trying to calm him down. "Let's go see what your uncle is cooking." She walked in the kitchen where her brother was setting up the table.

"Mom and dad are going to be home a little late, it's only going to be you and me for dinner." Michael said.

"I'll just put Sky on his high chair so he can join us." Jen said.

"Sounds okay. Just help me out a little." Michael said.

"Sure." Jen responded, as she helped her brother around.

The Next Day

It was morning, Jen was getting ready for work and was about to leave.

"You need a break from job searching, but keep trying, don't give up." Jen told her brother.

"I won't, you know I never give up." Michael said.

"I know but hopefully you will find a good job." Jen said. "I have to go I don't want to be late, take good care of Sky."

"Haven't I always." Michael said. "Bye Jenny have a good day."

"Bye." Jen responded and left out the door.

Jen arrived at Time Force and headed towards the locker room when she suddenly bumped into someone.

"Sorry I didn't mean to-" Jen paused for a minute and was surprised who she bumped into.

"Alex." Jen said.

"Jennifer." Alex said. "You know it's strange how we just bump into each other like this."

"Where have you been for the last couple of months?" Jen asked.

"I was away, I just needed some time off." Alex answered. "When did you finally came back?"

"Three months ago, I finally found someone to watch over Sky." Jen answered.

"You did. Who?" Alex asked again.

"It's kind of a long story, you see-" Jen was interrupted when she heard someone calling her name.

"Jen, there's a call for you." said a Time Force Officer as Jen went to the front desk to answer the phone call.

"Hello." Jen answered.

"Yes this is her." Jen was listening to who was calling, when hearing this she started to panic.

"What happened? Is he okay?" Jen tried to calm herself down while still listening. "I'll be right there." she hung up the phone and was about to leave when Alex stopped her.

"Jennifer what's wrong?" he asked.

"It's Sky something happened to him." Jen felt tears rolling down her eyes.

"What? Is he okay?" he asked again.

"I don't know, he's at the hospital." Jen answered.

"I'll take you, let's go." Alex said as they both ran out the doors and started to drive their way to the hospital.
