Disclaimer: I do not own Ouran Highschool Host Club!

But I DO own Madeline (Lizzie), Edward, Alex, and all my other OCs!

Chapter 25!

I'm not dead!

I know, I'm a terrible person for leaving you guys hanging for so long. Honestly, I've lost much interest in this story. But, the good news is, I'm not giving up. We've come this far, so I'm not going to throw it all away for nothing!

There shouldn't be too many chapters left, by the way. This story is coming close to an end. And since this was my first fanficton, I'm pretty proud we even made it this far.

By the way, in case you haven't noticed, Madeline's country doesn't have a name (because I'm bad at names). So if anyone wants to leave a suggestion for a name, please do so. I will pick one and use it when I post the next chapter.

Anyways, enough of my rambling.

Enjoy!

Recap:

"Alex!" I yelled, overjoyed. His cheek was red where I had slapped him. "My God, I'm so sorry!" I said, holding a hand to his cheek. "I'm so glad you found me!" I cried, throwing my arms around his neck. I hugged him tightly, thankful to be with someone that wasn't out to get me.

"Edward!" I said happily as I turned to the driver's seat to see the man driving the car. I leaned forward and hugged his arm to my chest. The car only veered to the left in the slightest. I let go of him and turned around to the back, seeing the joyful faces of the Host Club.

They were all piled into the back, Haruhi and Tamaki both on the floorboards. Kaoru was in Hikaru's lap, Honey in Mori's, and Kyoya's laptop in his lap.

"My God! I'm so glad to see you all!" I said happily. Tamaki had a huge smile on his face, and his pale cheeks wet from crying. I leaned forward and held my arms out to him. He grabbed me around the middle and pulled me into his lap.

The next thing I knew, his soft lips were on my own. His kiss was desperate yet kind and joyful. I was so glad to be in his arms. I pulled away and pecked him on the cheek. I did the same to the rest of the members as I hugged them and tried not to cry. I was so happy to be safe.

Little did I know, the feeling wouldn't last very long.

. . . . . . . . . . . . .

The happiness we all felt hardly lasted for even a minute. The car came to a screeching halt, and we all lurched forwards in our seats. When I dared a peek, I was terrified to see a huge military truck blocking our path. There was a squealing of tires as a truck came up from behind. Armed soldiers marched out of the nearby woods and surrounded us. We were trapped.

"Dammit!" Edward cursed under his breath. He banged his hand on the steering wheel in frustration. Pierre emerged from the swarm of soldiers, an arrogant smirk playing on his lips.

"Come out with your hands up and no one will be harmed!" he called to us. Despair and defeat flooded the vehicle. Just when we thought we were safe. . .

"I think it's best we do what he says." Alex said glumly. "They've got us surrounded with at least a hundred bloody guns." Edward nodded in agreement.

"We have no other choice." he said. "I'm so sorry we failed you, Princess." he muttered, hanging his head. I had no time to respond since he and Alex had already began to step out of the car slowly, their hands raised. The rest of us did the same, and we were quickly put in the hands of soldiers. I was marched over to the ominous Pierre.

"Well, well." he said, his grin growing wider. "I will admit, that was fairly smart what you did back there; using that storage room to your advantage. Too bad it didn't work out for you in the end." he said, a mocking pout on his face. I scowled at him, but refused to speak.

I stood tall and looked him straight in the eye. "You won't get away with this." this only made him laugh.

"You're so adorable, you know that?" he said teasingly, cupping my cheek. He bent down so he was level with my face. "But I already have gotten away with it." he removed his hand and stood back up, towering over me. He turned to his forces and gave them orders on how to handle us.

We were tied and gagged and thrown in the back of one of the military trucks, soldiers standing guard by us to make sure we weren't misbehaving. We eventually reached the airport once again, and we were transported onto a plane and flown all the way back to my home.

As a grand entrance for my capture, Pierre decided to make a parade of it. Hundreds of thousands of his minions marched through the entire capitol on the way to the palace, were my parents hopefully awaited me. I was tied with my hands behind my back on a large military tank with two armed men at my side. I was surprised at how everything had changed buildings that were last there no longer existed, and most of everyone was starving on the streets looking on with horror as I passed. Pierre decided to remain hidden with the Host Club instead of showing his face.

I just hoped they were alright.

Tamaki's POV

I was terrified as we were thrown into the back of a truck once we had arrived at our destination. The man Lizzie identified as Pierre was with us. He was sitting on one of the seats, his arms crossed and a pistol in his hand. There were five soldiers there as well.

Pierre had brought a small radio with him, which he had fiddled with for a moment before finally sitting back and listening. He had turned it to a channel which was about his troops marching through town and the Princess's return. The shocked and dismayed voices of the reporters gave every detail of the event. They couldn't stop talking about Lizzie, whom was not far ahead, and it only made me miss her more. I felt so helpless that I couldn't do anything.

Pierre suddenly turned the radio off, apparently bored. He tapped a finger on the side of the gun and eyes us all. He said nothing for a long time.

He suddenly reached out and pulled down my gag, much to my surprise. Before I had the chance to give him an earful, he held a hand up.

"Tell me, what makes you all love Madeline so much? I'm asking because I'm curious." the question caught me off guard. Why would he care? I hesitated, and Pierre looked at me expectantly. There was an odd look in his eye, but I couldn't place it.

"Well, she's very sweet and kind to everyone, and she cares a lot about us, just like we do her. But that's only to start. Lizzie is a wonderful woman and I love her more than my own life! She's the best thing that ever happened to me! And I won't let you take her away from-" I was cut off as he yanked the cloth back over my mouth.

"I didn't ask for your whole life story." he grumbled. "But that's very interesting. Why do you call her 'Lizzie'? Is it some sort of codename?" he wondered aloud. "Oh, it's probably the alias she used. Am I right?" when I gave a curt nod, annoyance itching at me, he hummed. "Interesting."

When we suddenly came to a stop, we all lurched forward. "It's about time!" Pierre said exaggeratedly. He gleefully hopped out of the vehicle. We were in front of a large palace. I stared up at it in amazement. We were brought inside and thrown into cells. Me, Mori, Hikaru, and Alex were in one cell, Kyoya, Kaoru, Honey, and Edward in another, and Haruhi in one on her own, since it was discovered that she was a girl.

I sat glumly in a corner with my knees pulled to my chest. I did my best to hold the tears back. Everything would be fine.

Right?

That's it for this chapter! I know it wasn't as long as usual, but at least it's something! I'll do my best to have the next chapter up soon. And in case I don't get to say this later, Merry Christmas!

Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!
