Jaune teaches his 'students some new tricks of the trade and 'Cinder's' prisoners speak of how they were taken. I saw the RWBY volume two trailer s few days ago and i'm excited it looks like it'll be allot more action packed and a darker more serious version of the story, the one thing is that usually in darker storylines there's a lack of comedy that i feel is a little nessacary for things like this and i thought RWBY's comedy was a really great strong point the show had. We'll see when it comes out.
WITH ANOTHER JAUNE
Being in multiple places at once was truly a blessing when you're Jaune Deus Arc he was currently on his way to find Ren's Falcon was it? And also the dragon he and Julius had created together he'd gone to check on them what was this the third time now, it sounded about right he'd been true to his word when he said they had enough Aura to survive the conversion but against his better nature he was still worried about them. One Jaune was taking care of teaching elemental class another was personally training Ethan and the third, him was well on his way to making sure that the animals were okay or if they requested to make more of them. Many wouldn't or couldn't or shouldn't understand the concept of a reality warper listening to the request of animals but he hardly cared for such trivial things like shallow opinions of what was superior to what.
Instinct kicked in and his Aura wings flapped upwards shooting Jaune up just as the mouth of a Nevermore tried to swallow him whole. Jaune grunted his discontent at being slowed down, he had no time for this annoyance he focused his Aura and an Aura construct duplicate of the Nevermore its equal in size appeared made of glowing white energy. Jaune sat back at he watched his construct charge at its natural enemy the two beginning an avian dance of death. Jaune whistled impressed by his constructs genius in aerial combat, given it was a bird but still, then the unexpected happened his construct, he needed to name her yes her, slammed into the Nevermore from above but instead of the creature being hit his construct was absorbed into the creature and before he could call out a bright light blasted him back a few feet and blinded him.
Jaune opened his eyes staring in shock at the bird in front of him, it looked like a Nevermore but its feathers were more akin to a gray falcon and it had no bone plating instead it had a regular bird face and no extra eyes. It was a regular animal except for the fact it was huge, Jaune couldn't believe it his senses told him all he needed to know it was alive it had a soul and it was complete. He had theories about what would happen if a Grimm and an Aura construct pre-conversion had somehow interacted in this way but he'd never tested them, he could never do something that unethical in his eyes. "The others aren't going to believe this, i mean i see it and i'm still not sure if i believe it." The question was what to call this new discovery, so many names passed through his head till finally he snapped his fingers.
"Grimm born. Its a Grimm born and her name is Eve." Jaune flew up to Eve and sat on her head petting her head feathers making her coo in appreciation. "That way Eve go-oh!" Eve sped forward flying faster than Jaune knew a bird her size could manage if it was a regular one that was grown this size even a Nevermore similarly sized would have trouble keeping up. 'Note Grimm born seem to retain the Physics defying qualities as regular Grimm but are about as strong as their Aura converted counterparts.' Jaune put the notes away as he flew riding the giant creature thinking of testing this new development. 'This is either a really amazing accident, or this is going to revolutionize the world.'
THE SECOND JAUNE
Jaune smiled at the stunned and confused expressions on his students faces, the class was for anyone who could control an element with their Aura. Julius smirked as he held his hand out black lightning jumping and arching in his palm. "This is a technique made by my deceased teammate, Ayame Tsukuyomi. The Emulation of elements." Julius put his hand down and panted a little, Ayame had practiced that technique way more than he ever had so she was much better at it than him she could do it in her sleep. "This technique is about altering the properties of your element so that they behave like another one. In this case shadow into lightning, it sparks like electricity makes the same sounds and can even be used to power an electronic device but since at its core its still shadow it doesn't share the same logical weaknesses like needing to be channeled through a conductor."
Jaune leaned back onto the black board after writing it all down. "You can use this one way another or both, in these cases to add diversity to your plethora of abilities without needed to control another element or use it for a nasty surprise attack." Jaune was engulfed in white fire and turned into Weiss. "A demonstration might help." Julius put down a candle as 'Weiss' held out her index finger towards the wick, everyone watched as a small block of ice formed on the wick then the ice changed appearance not in color but in form. It was the same color as normal whitish blue ice but now it moved like a flame even gave off light and heat and started to melt the candle it was on. "It acts like fire but doesn't need a fuel source and cant be snuffed or blown out, it can even effect you like it would normally in this case touching it would still burn you but you'd also get frost bite."
'Wiess' lead her class to an open field inside the complex with several dozens of targets, she waited till all eyes were on her and pointed her finger at the farthest target across the field. "I like to call this the Blazing Tundra." She spoke softly but an inferno quickly shot out of her one finger and surged through the field destroying everything until finally even the last target was consumed. "Work hard Snow Angel, if any of you can do even a fraction of that with the time we have available, i can guarantee that you'll go far." Jaune turned back to Weiss, Blake, and Yang winking at them. "I know you can do it." Though he said it to everyone he stared at those three specifically, he sat up in the stands as everyone began to work on changing their element to emulate another, then came the hard part.
"For those of you trying for fire the trick to get the powerful effect you saw is to compress it right before firing, it in effect acts like an explosion adding allot of kinetic energy to the blast to increase its power." Jaune watched as Blake started creating black flames it was truly impressive how fast she was getting it but Jaune had surmised it was because she had the right qualities to the element she used. Same went for Weiss and Yang each was engulfed in whitish blue and orange lightning respectively. Others were following behind them by a wide margin but were making clear progress. Jaune smiled thinking they were truly the cream of the crop like he should have expected from Beacon.
THE FIRST JAUNE
Jaune was working on gun maintenance with Ethan and had to admit it, Ethan had promise. "You may not be the fastest of the strongest or even the smartest but you're very well rounded and versatile." Ethan smiled as his teacher praised him, he was a simple kid at heart and Jaune had enjoyed his time around him immensely. Ethan was something great and Jaune knew it, his overall abilities were very high, he was borderline B-Class if he had to guess and that was without his Semblance. NEHSHEK was its name Jaune thought it was appropriate, Ethan was a hebrew name after all so they'd named his semblance nehshek, hebrew for armory or weapons.
It turned out Ethan could shrink more than his sword, he could shrink anything and carry it with him Jaune had made all their gear so far not only collapsable but interchangeable. It also seemed to eliminate recoil and weight so no matter what kind of gun he used it would never knock him off balance. "Now put this one on." Jaune handed him a shirt that looked like it was covered in lines of various colors on it but primarily orange and black Jaune laughed at the irony of a wolf Faunus was dressed like a tiger. "Now then think of a weapon and it will appear." Ethan thought of a laser cannon and one of the stripes leapt off his shirt and onto his arm surrounding it like a blob and shifting to form an arm cannon. "We are going to have some fun with this, for now onto specialized combat training, i have a plan to get Adam back and you're a crucial part of it."
THE THIRD JAUNE
He couldnt believe it, it was working, it worked on every Grimm he tested it on Boarbatusk, Ursa, Beowolf, even a Death bringer and DreadNaught. This was good Jaune was ripped from his musing when a Legion appeared, Legion was a high A-Class/Borderline S-Class Grimm that you didn't want to fight unless absolutely ready. At first glance it looked more or less like a pack of about six to ten BoarBaTusk, though significantly less armored and with two eyes opposed to four but when the pack was defeated they combined into a Giant Boar that while large was often only about as tall as just under Jaune's chest that being said they were nearly half as fast as a Deathdealer but just as strong.
Really it was a battle of precision knowing when and where to strike to drop it fast and hard. The things even fought like Boarbatusk too Jaune teleported the giant knight to safety and pulled out his swords activating Jaeger mode as when he did so as the Legion's parts began to spin on their spines. They rocketed forward almost like lightning but Jaune was beyond ready for them. The first one attempted to hit him straight on but was slashed in half vertically while the others began to circle around him. Seeing one of its pieces fall made the Legion angry if the growl was any indicator and they all tried to hit Jaune at once but he simply let them hit before his Aura sent them bouncing away all of them landing on their backs.
Jaune mercilessly disappeared in a blur of speed faster than Ruby and stabbed the nine remaining pieces of Legion while they were stunned. Just as expected and anticipated the corpses all turned into dark shifty liquid and fused together forming a blob that reshaped itself into a giant warthog with two sets of eyes. Jaune paused not really understanding it, why did some Grimm have more than one set of eyes it couldn't be because of strength the black wyvern had only two eyes but a leviathan had two sets of eyes just like a Nevermore or a Boarbatusk. Jaune held his hand forward out from habit and blocked the Legion's charge stopping it cold without thinking about it or using Aura and grabbed it by the face plate lifting the massive creature off the ground and slamming it onto its back in quick succession then preformed an axe kick on its unprotected belly stunning but not killing the creature of darkness.
"You'll make a fine addition." An Aura doppelgänger charged the downed beast creating another Grimm-Born as Jaune detected a DeathDealer nearby. He turned to look at the new giant warthog than stood in the Legion's place. "Fancy giving me a ride Pumba?" Pumba nodded before lowering himself enough for Jaune to slip onto his back and pointed in the westward direction causing Pumba to sprint in that direction. 'Is there a Meerkat Grimm somewhere i could name Timon?"
THE FIRST JAUNE, THE BASTION OF ARC
Ethan grit his teeth as he was forced back by the android although forced back was more akin to being kicked away like a hacky sack then having a high powered laser cannon fired at your falling body. He landed with an ungraceful thud, which Jaune noted that it was more often than not how he landed, and cursed as the android put its cannon back into its chest, Ethan ranted in his mind about robot always carrying an ass load of impossible shit in their chest but got over it really quickly realizing that it was hypocritical considering he could shrink a sword that made the Buster Sword look like a toothpick and then put it on his necklace for later.
"Why are you training me to fight this guy again?" Jaune looked from Ethan to the Android the robot was covered in aesthetics that made it look exactly like the person he was training Ethan to take down, Adam. "Because this android is twenty times stronger than Adam fifteen times as fast can emulate his semblance, and has enough weapons hidden or otherwise to equip an entire army for an entire war campaign." Ethan's eyes widened realized the grab bag of crazy going on here. "Why are you making me fight something that much more powerful and versatile than my target!?" Jaune shrugged as he made sure the input for fighting was correct for literally the five thousandth time.
"Because while Sam and Blake's memories of Adam training and fighting are very recent and useful, we have no way of knowing if Adam's acquired any new skills or moves since then." Sam had been assigned her 'mission very recently and had worked closely with Adam before Blake became his partner, that and because they grew up together meant they had encyclopedic knowledge of each others fighting styles which was a god send when it came to making the robot fight like Adam. "You said it's only been a week and a half since Adam was last seen training by Sam, what can he possibly learn to give him an edge in a week?" Jaune smirked at Ethan's slight naiveté.
"Well in one week of training with my mom i learned how to do this." Jaune held up the arm cannon causing Ethan to look at his shirt in shock to notice the stripe gone. "I took it from you when i patted you on the back before the fight began." Ethan realized that was the weapon he reached for but couldn't find when the robot was about to kick him, Jaune held up his other arm to show a pair of jeans making Ethan look down in shock to see his underwear. "I also took your pants." Ethan turned and saw red. "bullshit!" Jaune ignored the bad language and turned on the camera feed of the fight to show a pants less Ethan getting his ass handed to him by the android, which was easier for the android because he wasn't wearing pants. "This is my favorite part."
Ethan watched as a slash caused him to be sent airborne before he was kicked away and a laser blast sent him flying back. "That last hit should have blasted your pants clean off, if you were actually wearing them." Jaune fired up the android as Ethan pulled out a broadsword longer than a car and a hand cannon of a gun as the robot advanced. "Wait can i have my pants back?" Jaune laughed as the robot punched Ethan in the face making him fly across the field. "No!"
THE SECOND JAUNE
The last of the students were finally getting the changing part of it down fast enough to change on the fly but they'd never be as fast as Ayame. That said Blake just might be but Ayame was obviously much more skilled and powerful, but in due time that would be a moot point. "So who wants to fight Julius?" The other students looked confused but Yang and Weiss looked excited while Blake was regarding Julius with an analytical eye. "I'll fight him." Jaune stared down Weiss a level of pride surging up into his chest, he knew she stood no chance, but he couldnt stop her, she needed to do this to measure herself to see how far she'd come. "Alright fine but first Julius i need to talk to you." He ushered his twin away from everyone as the two silently conversed.
"Alright no going over twenty percent okay, these people are tough but one misplaced kick could send someones head flying clean off." Julius nodded as Weiss took a fighting stance. "Alright i have something i need to do so for now so Julius will take you on one at a time for now." Jaune walked out the room at a hurried pace intent on finding Penny, he had a promise to keep. He found her talking to Nora of all people and they seemed to hit it off really well but that was a given, Nora was a strong willed axe crazy hot blooded maniac in a childish body and Penny was just a child. "Come on its time to go." Penny and Nora groaned like children going to bed but Penny made her way over to Jaune none the less. "Where are you going?" Jaune made a noise of surprise and jumped forward, he turned on his heel to see Claire Deus laughing at him Penny softly giggling at his side.
"You are one of the only people who can ever sneak up on me." Jaune sighed before leading Penny away from her grandmother holding her hand. "Allot of the girls you know are really nice and they're all really pretty." Jaune laughed quietly. "Yes they are Penny, all that and more." Penny's face scrunched up in thought. "Is one of them going to be my new mommy?" Jaune nearly swallowed his tongue in shock it was an innocent enough question but he'd never given it any real thought. "Who's to say they cant all be your new mom Penny, there's nothing wrong with that." It was true at least to Jaune as far as he knew each had something they could teach Penny in their own way certain things were obvious like Weiss could teach her grace and poise if they werent synonymous the more subtle things that someone like Blake could teach her like well, subtlety, and Nora could teach her to be hyper and crazy when needed.
He breifly mused that if he included Nora as a potential new mom maybe Ren could be like her second dad, Sun David and Julius were more like cool uncles, literally so in Julius case but if he could get Ren on board the hilarity would be through the roof especially if they were mistaken for gay, the ways Jaune could mess with Ren were numerous, speaking of numerous it seemed that the third Jaune had returned and was with several others that Jaune couldn't identify so he went to investigate, he tracked it down to an auditorium with music blaring. Jaune and Penny opened the doors to see the third Jaune and he was, dancing with a bunch of weird creatures all while shaking maracas and singing that one song by N,Sync?
"I know that i cant take no more it ain't no liiiieee. I wanna see you out that door baby bye bye byyyye" Jaune snorted in laughter and Penny laughed and clapped startling the creatures into trying to hide behind the third Jaune which was hilarious considering some looked like they could tear a man in half with a glare. "Soooooo, how was your day?" The third Jaune smiled awkwardly. "Please explain whats going on, and it's been going really well thanks for asking."
WEISS AND JULIUS
Julius stared at Weiss as he felt the temperature drop really fast and began to emit fire to counter act it a little and keep himself warm. Weiss charged forward in her usual style slashing at Julius's legs but he jumped over her attempt with ease, Julius landed in his previous spot only to slip and barely stop himself from falling over as he landed on the frozen smooth ground. Julius looked behind him to see that a large oval shaped like a mirror Julius tried to blast it with fire but it didnt melt even when he cranked it up to nearly thirty thousand degrees. 'So she altered the properties of her ice so that heat doesn't melt it. Clever girl.' Julius looked around as the temperature dropped back to freezing even as his massive burst of fire should have superheated the room as more and more ice mirrors began to pop up some even began rotating slowly around.
Julius exhaled slowly as the people on the stands held their breath a slight fog of frost filling the area. Weiss was going to lose, Julius was to powerful even at only a fifth of his full strength to make that anything but the absolute outcome, but she was going to make it as hard as possible for him to win. An icy fireball raced towards him and he ducked under it before sending a lightning blast at is origin only for Weiss to duck back and disappear into her mist and the grounds frost began to travel up his legs. He disregarded it as he looked around for Weiss. "How the heck did you come up with this little gimmick?" Julius exhaled as he felt a chill run through him and not from the ice. "You've heard of Bloody Mary haven't you?"
Julius swallowed hard. 'Perfect just like bloody Mary, and this time no incubus brother to strangle the bitch to death." Julius breifly stopped to reprimand himself for inadvertently calling Weiss a bitch but it cost him as a whitish blue lightning bolt blasted his back followed by a regular lightning dust spell blast hitting his front it tingled and chilled him but even without his Aura he was no worse for wear. Julius struck out with a kick that clipped whatever tried to launch past him and felt the good ole resistance of when you hit someone right in the skull. 'Thats one hit that counted for something.'
Julius sensed her retreat as he tried to focus on a strategy, Julius was far from stupid, reckless, unthinking, and book dumb but stupid no he was not, except for that November and the number six thing he did to piss off Sun and Roman that was for the L.O.L.S so he just had to figure out what to do. He looked left and saw Weiss' outline in the mist and saw her staggering figure disappear into a mirror. 'So thats how she does it she took what Jaune said about being able to use her semblance however she wanted to the logical extreme and is using her ice like it said bloody mary uses mirrors, like portals! She's good.' Julius would have to shake her hand later for such a not only a ground breaking use of power but a very tactically brilliant one as well.
but first things first he needed a plan a best he had two more minutes before Weiss' head stopped ringing enough to fight again so he needed to think. 'Can her portals be used by someone else?' Julius ran over to the nearest mirror and tried to put his hand through only for it to shatter and disappear. 'Well thats a no, better keep breaking mirrors so she thinks thats my plan.' Julius began touching more and more mirrors as his mind was elsewhere. 'Think Julius Diabolous Arc think she knows these mirrors give her a huge tactical advantage that helps even our playing field a lot but there has to be a weakness."
Just then when he was about to shatter another Weiss' image appeared in the mirror and tried to stab him but he caught her blade and yanked it out of her hand and smashed the mirror with the butt of the handle. "Whew gonna have to do better than that!" The sword in his hand shattered and Julius gulped his danger sense telling him Weiss just did better as he looked around to see tons of reflections of Weiss in the mirrors surrounding him and begin coming out of the mirrors. Julius gulped as he was looking all around to see at least fourty Weiss' a front line ready to charge and engage him while some looked ready to use glyphs and some setting Myrtenaster to fire dust spells at him.
Julius had only one word that came to mind as he sized up his opponents. "Fuck" Seven Weiss' charged him as he coated his hands in metal gauntlets blocking the fast moving duplicates. He winced feeling a few stray hits striking him even as his instincts told him when and where they were gonna strike as he was forced back. He noticed a Weiss make a Glyph underneath them and he abandoned blocking letting the swords chip at his Aura as he smashed his fist into the ground sending earth pillars shooting up shaking the ground and taking out a few of them as dust was kicked up canceling the Glyphs effect before it could start. One weakness of Glyphs was like the magic in those Henry Potter books they required a line of sight to use unless the person was using a Glyph on themselves, a rarely known weakness because normally Hunters fought up close and personally.
'Cinder first had trouble with the same thing when she realized she could use them.' Julius was cursing under his breath as the Weiss' regrouped he could tell that one was the flesh and blood one but he couldn't tell which with so many doppelgängers close by. 'If only i could make the whole place go boom then it wouldnt matter but i promised only twenty percent max power and an explosion big enough requires at least Twenty five percent power.' Then Julius remembered about Semantics and nearly slapped himself realizing Jaune had talked about this to him literally yesterday. 'Time to make things go boom!' Julius jumped out from his hiding place and began blasting large fireballs allover the place.
The Weiss' scattered as he shot like a maniac hitting everything the mirrors but they didn't melt the ground the copies making the place to hot to handle. Weiss the real one was growing visibly frustrated that Julius' fire power was overwhelming her copies and tried to retreat to a mirror to make more having her copies do the same to throw off Julius. "BOOM BABY!" Julius shout rang out less than an instant before the mirrors exploded blowing back Weiss and destroying her clones as she landed and skidded right to a stop at Julius feet. Julius put his foot on her head preventing her from getting up. "I win." He sang, Julius removed his foot and helped Weiss to her feet before shaking her hand. "The trick with mirrors was a stroke of pure genius Weiss."
Weiss shook his hand as she raised an eyebrow. "How did you make my mirrors explode like that?" Julius shrugged before laughing. "Jaune helped me realize i can use my semblance to make pure elements from the periodic table a while back and now he helped me realize i could alter things to be like an element, like making water like mercury. Later on he convinced me to try creating something entirely new so i made an element that explodes on my command." Julius held up his hand to show a glowing yellowish object in his hands. "This is explodium." Julius threw it at one of the earth pillars and it exploded on contact destroying it and the pillar. "So you altered my ice to behave like explodium?" Julius nodded. "Correct."
Weiss nodded honestly impressed. "You're allot smarter than you let on." Julius laughed before patting her on the back as they walked. "Yes i am i just don't use my smarts a whole lot but my team knows i'm not stupid, it probably what makes them so mad at me when i screw up." Weiss laughed lightly as Julius sweat dropped remembering how he constantly made the impression that he was a dumb ass. "Well its good to know you're not completely incompetent." Julius rolled his eyes as they walked towards the stands before he turned to Weiss mockingly sighing in relief. "And here i was worried that your head might be hurt from that kick to the head but it turns out that large bump is merely thy massive ego becoming to big for thy already swelled head."
Weiss gave him a ticked pointed glare but realized that as the rush of battle faded her head really did hurt she materialized a mirror of ice and looked at the side of her head only to see a giant purple bruise on the left side right where Julius had kicked her she even touched it and could feel a hairline fracture in her skull the pain really beginning to make it obvious, she'd had bruises before but this felt different. "You should really get some ice on that." Julius held his hand to her head and let his Aura flow fixing the giant whelp and healing the fracture somewhat but not completely. "You should go see Jaune just in case, i haven't practiced healing allot so i don't know if i fixed everything." Weiss nodded as she lowered the temperature around her head to numb the pain a little.
Julius watched her leave as he sat down in the stand legitimately impressed, she'd have won if he wasnt a Black Jaeger he was strong but Weiss had really turned the tables on him. "Whelp i'm gonna go see how the counterplan is working so see yah." Julius used his strength to jump all the way to the door across the large room amazing the people who didnt know of the Arc's physical prowess he may not be anywhere as strong as his brother but their training sessions were getting more intense as of late and the results were showing. Julius whistled to himself as he navigated the halls having memorized the layout like he was told. "So everyone hows it going?" Sun rolled his eyes and David nodded in his direction as Ozpin explained the layout of Beacons rebuilt sectors.
"And thats where the coffee maker went." Julius sweat dropped at Ozpin, the man was brilliant but he was a major caffeine addict. "Can we get back to talking about the plan please?"
UNKNOWN LOCATION
"How did she get you?" She sighed at her friends question it was a simple and innocent enough one but i irked her none the less. "I went to answer a knock an the door and there she was, i tried to react faster but by the time i could even think of bringing up my Aura she shot me in the skull and from the pain i felt i guess she shot me twice." She grunted in anger, it was only three days before the invasion began and who knew what would happen. "I cant wait to see Penny again." She sighed as she turned to her friend. "There's allot you need to know before you see her again."
Her friend turned around to face her. "I guess you have allot to tel me then huh?" She nodded and began to think of a place to start. "After we buried you, we retired to-"
THE BASE HOURS LATER
Jaune shot awake as he felt something he couldn't explain. "It cant be." Jaune sighed and tried to reach out to the feeling, it was week but he could feel the old familiarity the thing caused but he couldn't place. 'I cant help but worry about this, and whats to come.' As Jaune got up out of bed he began to get dressed realizing he couldn't pinpoint it no matter how he tried. He briefly felt it spike in power and ferocity like a mothers righteous anger but it was gone as quick as it came and left him no closer to figuring it out. 'Whatever.' Jaune abandoned the attempts as he stealthily left the room to focus on other things. 'Pumba and Altus are doing good.' Jaune had taken to calling the minotaur Grimm born Altus after meeting him.
So far Jaune admitted he liked him the most but he decided to keep that opinion to himself until he got to know the others better. 'I hope Penny's gonna be okay.' Just then he felt his senses slow to a crawl. A vision.
VISION
He saw himself kneeling and holding her tears of rage and sadness flowing as he lost control of his power and the landscape began to be torn asunder by the loss of control as war raged around him. Then before Jaune could react he was pulled into another vision this one of him staring down at her grave a device in his hands Jaune peeked over his own shoulder to realize it was a biometric scanner calibrated to Penny from the sounds in the back ground he could tell this was from some time later. "She's alive, i dont believe it!" Another pull and now he was watching as Adam helped him attach all sorts of medical equipment to her. "She's alive but her vitals have slowed to an absolute crawl, she's alive but who knows when she'll wake up."
Jaune watched as he sighed and slumped into a chair. "Just like with Ethan." Jaune raised an eyebrow at what was said but let it slide as the vision faded.
OUTSIDE OF THE VISION
Jaune shook his head as he tried to process what was going to happen. 'Okay okay okay, so first Penny supposably died but instead went into a coma, like that time with Roman!' Jaune paused to remember that time he'd been shot in the head twice but had lived through it his brother Sun and David saying it was like he was dead but his skin didn't pale nor did he bleed out like he should have. Then Jaune's eyes widened as he realized it was the same with Ayame, she was dead her heart stopped and everything but there was no blood and her face hadn't lost color. Jaune kicked himself for such a rookie medical mistake then he realized she might be alive. 'Its possible if the same thing that happened to Penny happened to Ayame then she could still be alive!'
It wasn't as big a long shot as it seemed as Jaune teleported away, after all a body with vitals slowed down that much and an active Aura could last decades. Jaune reappeared at her grave only to see something amiss, the soil wasn't nearly as set as it should be and the placement was different, someone had dug it up. Jaune reached out with his power levitating the earth away and bringing out the coffin eyes narrowing at the latches they were broken. Jaune set the coffin down and forced it open expecting many things, a decayed body, her to be the same as she was when she was buried, and a number of other things but he didn't expect this. Ayame's body was gone.
