Last Hurrah
Naruto slashed his condensed blade, smashing the beam of energy skyward. The Forbidden had been firing beams of energy at him and Hinata rapidly out of the tail-heads it now had, keeping them from getting anywhere near it. While Naruto blocked the beams, Hinata was trying to hit it with blasts of her own chakra but so far she had yet to even come close because the Forbidden was using his own blasts to block hers.
"This guy's starting to piss me off!" Naruto growled. "Let's fight a dragon with a dragon."
He extended his chakra chains from his right shoulder, the chains wrapping together and forming his Chakra Chains Dragon. The dragon shot forward, Naruto channeling his chakra through it and making it exhale a massive and highly powerful Pressure Damage at the Forbidden. The Forbidden blasted straight through the jutsu with a beam of chakra that blasted Naruto's Chakra Chains Dragon which reformed and lunged forward, biting the Forbidden and deconstructing, wrapping around the Forbidden and driving the individual chains through it for a better grip. Naruto dragged the Forbidden back toward them and he and Hinata flew forward, avoiding the blasts the Forbidden fired at them. Just as they neared the Forbidden, however, creatures began to leap out, taking flight and flying at Naruto, each of them looking like black Version Two Jinchuriki. Naruto cursed, forming his compressed chakra blade again as Hinata did the same and the two began to tear into the creatures, each slash blasting a group of them. Finally they finished the creatures as the Forbidden broke free, flying away, much faster than before. Naruto and Hinata followed, able to keep up, if only barely, and firing blasts at him rapidly. The Forbidden began to flip and swerve between the hail of blasts as he fired his own back.
Naruto and Hinata avoided the blasts, continuing to fire their own regardless of what happened. As they continued, the Forbidden's blasts began to explode around them, making it much harder to dodge them. They continued as they were, Naruto also beginning to fire spectral swords, now enhanced with Nature Energy, at the Forbidden. Still the Forbidden continued to doge everything. Finally Naruto sped ahead of Hinata and ascended into the sky, causing most of the Forbidden's head to follow him, leaving Hinata with less than half the danger. Naruto began to fire downward at the Forbidden, his blasts causing massive explosions below them but they were over the water now and his blasts were better than the Forbidden's. The Forbidden avoided both Naruto's blasts and Hinata's for a time before Naruto switched to full speed, appearing in front of the Forbidden and firing a blast at full power. It met its target directly in the face, exploding into a massive ball of fire. The Forbidden fell out the bottom, Naruto appearing below it as Hinata flew downward at it from above. Just before they reached it, its power spiked, its wounds healing and hurling them both away as it took off, flying much faster than before. Both Naruto and Hinata followed as best they could but soon, they stopped as they followed it into a cloud. They both formed their condensed swords. Just as they did, blasts began to flash toward them out of the cloud from all sides. Naruto and Hinata batted as many as they could away, redirecting them into other blasts. As they did, Naruto looked through the cloud for the Forbidden, seeing it flying around them in a blur, firing blasts almost at random.
Finally, Naruto redirected a blast into the Forbidden, hitting him mid-torso and it fell out of the cloud, the blasts stopping. Naruto and Hinata chased him, seeing him crash down on the ground below them. Rather than follow, they began to rain blasts of their own down on him, the explosion this caused growing bigger and bigger until they finally stopped and flew down into the dust. Just as they neared the Forbidden, it streaked up past them, one of its tail-heads catching Naruto and swallowing him as it did. Naruto waited until he reached the Forbidden's stomach, which had seven throats reaching it and one tunnel leaving it, then pulled out a bag filled with hundreds of the same kind of food pills he had killed Danzo with in it. These were much more potent, designed for a much, much more powerful target. He emptied the bag into the stomach acid below him then flew up a throat, extending his blade and cutting the throat wide open, spilling the acidic blood into the stomach as well. Finally he blasted his way out through one of the tail-heads and flew ver to Hinata, turning to watch his work.
The Forbidden shrieked out of all seven of the intact heads as its stomach acid began to eat a hole in its abdomen. Then, the hole began to spread, where the heads had all began to vomit from the amount of pain. Within seconds the Forbidden had been completely dissolved. The water below them was filled with its entrails and the now harmless acid enhancer for a moment before the entrails reformed the Forbidden, which roared in rage, all of its heads firing a spray of blasts and Naruto and Hinata. Naruto formed his full-sized sword, reinforcing it with Nature Energy and began to slash rapidly, deflecting all of the blasts back at the Forbidden. When the explosions stopped, the Forbidden finished reforming and turned, flying away again.
"He's running out of chakra," Naruto grinned. "Looks like regenerating is a lot more tiring than we thought. We may not need the seal."
"Right," Hinata snorted. "Shall we?"
Naruto nodded and the two flew after him, both causing a sonic boom as they jumped to Hinata's full speed instantly. The Forbidden had actually slowed down a lot, allowing them to gain on him rapidly and allowing Naruto to speed up and get ahead of it. He spun around flying at the Forbidden as Hinata did the same from behind. The Forbidden began to spin like a horizontal saw blade, blasts firing at the far too fast to see. Naruto and Hinata began to avoid the blasts, slipping between them as they neared the Forbidden. It stopped its spin, shooting upward as they neared it and they flew upward after it, gaining again. It fired a wall of blasts at them at the same time as it leveled out, shooting away from them. They followed, the wall of blasts following them.
"Fuck off!" Naruto shouted firing a blast backward and detonating the entire wall at once.
Naruto and Hinata began to gain on the Forbidden quickly as it fired a single blast skyward. A moment later, the sky turned blood red and dozens of meteors as big around as the entire Leaf Village and Rain Village together began to fall toward them.
"Those'll destroy the planet!" Hinata shouted.
They both stopped, Naruto forming his blade and slashing at the first one and blasting it into rubble, destroying several others. More continued to fall and Naruto swore, flying up at the meteors, beginning to blast them with golden beams of energy, destroying them rapidly while also extending his chakra chains to smash them. The rubble that fell past him Hinata destroyed with blasts of her own chakra. Finally they finished just in time for the Forbidden to successfully blast Naruto in the back with eight blasts. Naruto shouted in pain, falling but righting himself, entire body lightning up green as the symbol on his hand glowed green. Naruto stared at it for a moment before grinning, his irises glowing green. A moment later, Hinata's symbol began to do the same, both of them feeling Gelel Energy coursing through them.
"Looks like the Gelel Stones want us to win to," Naruto grinned as the two shot after Forbidden.
The aura around Naruto disappeared, leaving him fully healed and they both began to fire blasts at the Forbidden again, the blasts now glowing green and much, much stronger. The Forbidden began to avoid them but just as Naruto began to pull ahead of Hinata, who stopped firing, he began to fire them too fast to track. At the same time, he began to fly in a circle around the Forbidden. The Forbidden was unable to avoid the blasts and for several minutes he was surrounded by explosions. Finally Naruto stopped, hovering beside Hinata. When the smoke cleared, the Forbidden was healed and angry. It roared in rage, the force of its power from the roar alone kicking up gale-force winds. Then, the dragon heads all turned upward as they all roared and Dark Chakra exploded off of the Forbidden, throwing Naruto and Hinata away. It lowered its head, its tails morphing into blades as it flew at them. Naruto formed his sword and flew forward, Hinata firing blasts at the Forbidden. It avoided her blasts while dueling with Naruto, barely fending Naruto off as they did. Then, Naruto slashed its blades all sideways and shot forward in a blurred line, right hand crashing into the Forbidden's face hard. He did not, however, use the seal. Hinata had not been ready. And he had known that. Instead, he had used a perfect Tailed Beast Ball, finally. The Tailed Beast Ball shot away from Naruto's hand, forcing the Forbidden high into the sky before it exploded into a massive ball of fire, one that was even larger than the moon.
The blast expanded outward, saving them from being hit, but it did clear the ocean below them, sending water flooding onto land all over the planet. Naruto winced as he sensed millions of people killed by the effects but he then sensed Nagato revive them, surviving only because of the others who had Gelel Stones. Naruto looked up to see the Forbidden's regenerating but nearly destroyed body falling toward them.
"Let's go Hinata," Naruto growled.
The two of them flew up at the Forbidden, slamming their hands into his sides and activating the seal. Instantly, the moon above them shattered, being drawn toward the Forbidden and crashing down on him as the seal, the same that the Sage of the Six Paths had used to seal the Ten-tails inside the moon, encased the Forbidden in all of the stone around it. The new moon shot out of the atmosphere as it formed, taking the moon's place in the sky as Hinata and Naruto flew to the others, landing beside Sasuke as Nagato finished reviving those killed by Naruto's Tailed Beast Rasengan, also transporting their bodies away from the coasts. Naruto looked around, taking inventory of who was present. Sasuke, the Jinchuriki, the Uzumaki, Hinata, and the Kage were all standing around him. Naruto held his hand out, and all of them, minus the two Hokage, held their hands over his without him needing to say so. As they all funneled their chakra into the space within the circle of hands, Naruto shaped it, also adding his own chakra. They finished just as they felt the Forbidden's power spike again. The moon above them literally exploded and they could all sense it coming. They all got out of Naruto's way as he held up a Rasenshuriken much, much larger than anything he had formed before. All of them were out of chakra, leaving all of them, Naruto included, in their base forms with no way to fight if this jutsu failed. Fortunately, none believed it would.
The Rasenshuriken had a Tailed Beast Rasengan in the center with a Kirin and Amaterasu dragon chasing each other inside, coiling around and around inside. The blades of the Rasenshuriken were all different and with more than the standard four. One was made entirely out of Gelel Energy, courtesy of Naruto's Mine, another out of Tenseigan Chakra, courtesy of Naruto and Hinata, another was made out of lava, courtesy of the Mizukage, another blade was made of the Tsuchikage's Dust Release, four blades made out of Chakra Chains, one blade that was actually a Sage Mode enhanced spectral sword, and there were four blades and the ring they were all attached to made out of Naruto and Hinata's Tenseigan spheres, all pitch black. The Rasenshuriken also had three layers of Chakra around it. The first was from the Raikage, made entirely out of lightning Style Chakra. The second was Naruto's and was a cloud of ever-shifting Nature Energy Wind Swords, and the last was Hinata's and was a single, massive lion-head-shaped chakra shroud the size of a building to surround the gigantic Rasenshuriken and the other two layers. As Naruto held it up, exhaustion began to get the best out of him, for the first time during the entire war. His legs began to shake, the considerable weight of so much chakra beginning to force him to the ground. Hinata stepped forward, raising her hand and helping him hold it up. Naruto smiled and nodded and they looked up as they pulled it back.
"We won't be able to run from the explosion this time," Naruto stated.
"I don't care," Hinata stated. "I'm not going anywhere. And I'm not losing you again."
Naruto nodded as the Forbidden flew into their sight, pissed and with Dark Chakra rolling off of him like Amaterasu. They both nodded and together they hurled their last hope at the worst threat the world had ever seen. The Rasenshuriken streaked through the air, moving even faster than the Lightning Style Rasenshurikens Naruto and Sasuke had formed in the past. The Forbidden roared, firing eight massive beams of chakra at it, the blasts all hitting but being cancelled by the raw power inside the Rasenshuriken. The Forbidden roared in surprise and turned to flee only for the Rasenshuriken to slam into its back, the blades bisecting it before the Chakra Chains blades latched onto the halves, pulling it and wrapping it around the ring of blades as the Rasenshuriken shot out of the atmosphere and then out into space. Everyone watched as the night sky suddenly lit up with the explosion, first a wall of white Amaterasu and lightning raced across the white, forming a massive spiderweb-like design before the explosion began to spiral around the point of origin, begin dragged in. After a moment, the flow reversed direction, first turning blue, then blood red, then green, then orange, then gold, then pitch black, then white again before finally fading, leaving the sky completely black and everyone that had watched the explosion blind.
"Anyone else able to see?" Naruto asked.
"Nope," Sasuke sighed. "Anyone got enough chakra for Naruto to start healing us?"
"No," A snorted. "We all used it up on that Jutsu. Are we sure it's over?"
"It's over," Naruto nodded.
"Naruto and I were able to see it during the explosion," Hinata stated. "There's nothing left of it."
"How do we know your vision wasn't compromised during the explosion?" A demanded.
"Then what about your senses?" Naruto asked. "You can't tell me you didn't sense its power before the blast."
"I did," A nodded.
"Well it's gone now," Naruto stated. "Right Karin?"
"Just a second," Karin said and everyone was silent. "Yes. It's gone. Finally."
"Good," Fu sighed. "Naruto, I have enough chakra to use the Gelel Stone. Though, I'll pass out after."
"Do it," Naruto sighed.
Fu healed Naruto, Naruto's vision returning instantly. Naruto looked around, seeing a very large amount of blind people around him, as everyone present had been watching. Temujin was nearby so Naruto healed him first and together they passed out Gelel Stones, agreeing that the stones would heal everyone's vision over time and that with peace finally having been won, the Gelel Stones wouldn't be used for evil. Then, Naruto, with the help of both Kurama and his Tenseigan, began to heal others. The Kage and Jinchuriki were first and once someone with a Gelel Stone was healed, they moved to help as many others as they could. And soon enough, everyone was healed. When Naruto got to Hinata, however, her Tenseigan had reverted to Byakugan.
"Hinata, your eyes," Naruto blinked.
"I know," Hinata smiled. "I could feel them change back after we threw the Rasenshuriken."
Naruto healed her and she blinked for a moment as Naruto sighed, not having enough energy to heal anyone else, fortunately, everyone else was healed.
"Your eyes," Hinata breathed. "They're..."
"I know," Naruto nodded smiling. "Looks like they've reach their limit too."
Naruto drew his Sword of Kusanagi and looked at his reflection, smiling and staring at his new pale lavender eyes.
"Byakugan," Naruto smiled. "Well, I guess that's better than going blind permanently."
"I agree," Hinata smiled. "Besides, I don't care if you have Tenseigan or not. You're alive. So I'm happy."
Naruto smiled and kissed her before she pulled back and smiled even wider.
"Oh, and, before I lost my Tenseigan, I used to to check something," Hinata smiled.
"What?" Naruto asked and Hinata's eyes glanced downward for a moment before returning to his as she blushed slightly. "What, you're...you're...really?"
Hinata nodded, smiling. Naruto's mouth fell open before he shout happily, hugging Hinata and spinning. Hinata hugged him back, laughing at his reaction. After a moment, he set her down and kissed her. She kissed him back before resting her head on his chest.
"Are we missing something?" Sasuke asked.
"Is she sure?" Minato asked grinning widely as Kushina and Tsunade both did the same.
Naruto nodded and Kushina squealed in delight sprinting forward and and hugging both her son and daughter-in-law.
"I'm confused," Neji spoke up. "What's everyone so happy about? It's obviously not the Forbidden being dead."
"You're right," Sakura nodded grinning.
"Hinata's pregnant," Karin stated.
Instantly a cheer erupted from anyone that could hear then spread outward with the news. Hinata's face darkened a bit but she simply tucked her face into Naruto's chest and smiled. It felt like forever ago that she could just enjoy being with him.
