Okay, so the past 24 hours (Oh, wait, actually it's more like 30 hours.) made me realize how much I really HATE busses. Especially in a big city I do not live it. I seriously and absolutely hate busses.

Anyway, this chapter was ready a little while ago, and I was about to publish it last night, but after walking about three kilometers for nothing, I was really exhausted and I almost fell asleep on my keyboard. So it had to wait until now.

ATTENTION: THE RATING IS CHANGING FROM T TO M FROM THIS CHAPTER ON, BECAUSE THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS CONTENTS OF SEXUALL ASSAULT AND RAPE.

Chapter 25

"You can get up." Donna said as she pulled up at the end of the driveway, right in front of the big entrance door to the warehouse.

"Can you please tell me why he wants to see me in person?" Christie said. She tried her best to keep her voice steady, but it was obvious she was terrified.

"Ain't got a clue. Get out." Donna said coldly and stepped out of the car. She signaled Bella to stay in the car until she's back and took Christie inside, holding her tight in her wrist. When they were in front of the door to DiAngelo's office, Donna knocked before opening it and stepping in with Christie.

"Here she is." Donna said, closing the door behind her.

"Christie Robbins, haven't seen ya in a while now." Marco's voice was filled with fake empathy. "You can go, Lombardi, but stay near the car."

"You owe me something before I go."

"Oh, right. I forgot about that attitude of yours. You and your brotha', you two are the same." he muttered the last part of the sentence as he took a pile of one hundred bills wrapped with a rubber band out of his top drawer in his desk and handed the pile to Donna. She took it, counted the bills and then said quietly half to Marco half to Christie "Call me if you need me." before leaving.

She stayed near by his office for a little while. At first, she couldn't hear anything, the two of them were very quiet inside. A little while later she heard DiAngelo getting angry, yelling "I don't care you lost your job! I don't give a fucking shit about how the fuck you're gonna get me that money! Be a fucking whore if that what you need to do! You owe me four damn grands, you fucking little bitch, and you're gonna pay up your debt one way or another!"

Donna heart quiet sobs from the other side of the door. Christie was obviously crying, and Donna's guts told her something bad was coming. For the next fifteen minutes she heard DiAngelo yelling and screaming at Christie, and then Christie's voice trembling voice, doing her best but failing not to cry.

"I don't give a shit about your 'financial problems', got it? I want my money and I want it now!"

"Please, Marco, I'll pay you soon - "

" - No you won't pay soon, you'll pay right now!"

"I don't have even two hundred right now, please - "

" - I told you already I don't give a fucking shit about it, pay up."

"Please, Marco... - "

" - Shut up, you little bitch."

"I'm sorry..."

"You owe me four fucking grands. I'm not giving up my money, you get it you stupid little whore? I don't care how you're gonna get it, but you will." he said. This time his voice was a bit more steady and quiet than before. "But you're still going to pay me now with something. Even if you get the money tomorrow, you need to learn right now to give me the respect I deserve."

Christie wasn't talking. She was too terrified to let any voice besides her sobs slip out of her mouth. DiAngelo was quiet for a moment, and then he had the same voice he had when he welcomed Christie to his office. "And I know exactly how you're gonna learn it."

"W-w-what do you mean?" Christie's voice was trembling.

"Oh, you'll see."

Donna heard the sound of a zipper being opened, and only a few seconds later she heard Christie starts to scream, begging Marco not to do whatever he was doing.

'Rape.' Donna thought, terrified, and frustrated. She knew she was using every bit of her ability of self-restraint to hold herself from barging into DiAngelo's office and save that poor little girl. She was frustrated more than ever, knowing it's either saving Christie from a brutal rape or saving her and her brother's cover, it's either causing this girl to experience the most traumatizing moment it her life, or putting both herself and her brother under a major, serious life threat.

She couldn't take it anymore, and made her way as fast as she could back to the Porsche. She saw Bella waiting for her outside, leaning against the passenger's door.

"What took you so long?" Isabella asked, smiling a flirtatious smile to Donna.

"Had something to straighten up with your brother." Donna said. She had to pull herself together as fast as possible, not to expose the tornado that was aching her heart and stomach.

"It's 'kay, I forgive you." Isabella said and waited for Donna to lean against the car, right next to her.

"Hey, Bella, I need you to stay here when I drive that girl back to Southie. I have someone I have to meet, in private, before I come back over here." Donna said, avoiding eye contact.

"Uhm, o-kay..." Bella said, a bit confused, but was still smiling.

"Thanks. I'll be back to pick you up when I'm done." Donna said.

"Only if you promise to look at me when you're talking to me." Bella said.

"I'm sorry, I have a lot on my mind right now. You're right." Donna said and looked at Isabella.

"Thanks." Isabella chuckled.

They were silent for a moment or two. Donna was the one to break the silence. "Come here." she said, pulling Bella by her waist off the car so she was now facing her.

Isabella glared in Donna's chocolate-brown eyes, almost going lost in them. She felt her heart beating a bit faster than usual. 'What the actual fuck is going on with me?'

She leaned closer to Donna, pressing their lips together. Neither of them had deepened the kiss for a while. When they pulled apart Isabella looked right in Donna's eyes, and whispered "You still owe me an answer."

Donna chuckled, throwing her head back a little. "You're right. And you'll get it, I promise. But not now."

"I'm not giving this up, Lombardi."

"I know."

"Good." Bella said. She gave Donna one more kiss before saying goodbye and entering the warehouse. One minute later Christie almost ran into Donna as she left through the the bit entrance door. DiAngelo was soon at the door as well, looking at Donna.

"You. Take her back to Southie." then he pointed at Christie. "You got time 'til next Monday. If you're late this time it won't end up as good as this time."

Christie didn't answer. Donna moved to let her get in the car and went to take her seat at the driver's seat. Within a few seconds they were on their way back to Southie.

When they arrived the quiet street corner where Donna picked Christie up earlier that day, it was already dark outside. No one was there, and Donna decided to do what she has to.

She got out of the car with Christie, who was a bit confused about it. She grabbed her by her wrist and pulled her closer before she could disappear into the darkness of the night. She put her lips a few millimeters away from Christie's ear and whispered "Go to Beth Israel hospital, right now. Don't take a shower until after you're discharged. Do a rape kit, and do it now. Ask the nurse to call a detective to take your statement. Do not waist even a single second, and no matter what they ask you, you've never seen my face, heard my voice, and most important – you decided on your own to do the kit and press charges. Take a deep breath now if you understand everything I said."

She heard Christie taking a good, deep breath. "Good. Now go, this talk never happened." Donna said. Then she turned around quickly and got back inside the car before Christie could say another word she drove off back to DiAngelo's warehouse.

'You did the right thing.' Donna thought to herself of her way back to the warehouse. 'You did the right thing. You did what Jane would have done.'

So? What'cha thing? Did I do well with this one? Let me know!
