Hello! So sorry! When was the last time I wrote another chapter? All I can say is that I've been procrastinating. Cause you know me, I put the pro in procrastination.! Ayyye! Lolz. The college life has been fun. Tiring but fun. Also I have a cat called Hamilton so I just call her Hammie for short and then sometimes people are like if she's a girl why is her name Hamilton and then I replied with "Don't put gender stereotypes on my cat!" Same with my dog when his nails were painted. Whoops. What can I do?

The quietness in the air was disturbed by men running into the building.

"Something's happening!" I heard Kurapika. "There's armed guys." He told us.

"Let's warn the boss!" Melody replied. Kurapika nodded and got out his phone. Dalzollene answered and he ordered us to head to the building. We nodded and I jumped down the building surprising them both. "I'll see you there." I called out and rushed away down. I focused my nen to the soles of my feet and grabbed onto the wall and ran down. When I was within an area of where I could land safely I jumped. I rushed into the building and it was empty. There wasn't a single person inside the building, my teammates were nowhere in site. I opened my pocket and woke up, Pip. He had taken a liking to me when Kurapika was training. He was like a gray mouse, with a shade darker mane and large ears, but he was a bit larger than any mouse. He woke up grumpily. Pip glared at me but I smiled at him.

"Pip can you find out where they went?" I asked him. He sat in my hand and turned away. I sweatdropped. "What if I gave two extra seeds?" Pip looked at me and shook his head. "Look here! You decided to follow me! I didn't force to follow me! I need to know what happened to my coworkers. So can you please sniff them out?" I asked him. He gave me a look and finally jumped off my hand. He sniffed and sniffed and looked around. He came back to me stumped. "What do you mean there's no trace? You mean they just disappeared?" Pip nodded.

"Mitsuki!" I heard Kurapika. I turned around they made it to me.

"Where are they?" Melody asked me. I shrugged.

"Even Pip can't find them." I told them. Pip sat in front of me looking at the other two.

"Pip?" Melody questioned. She looked at the long eared mouse.

"This is Pip. He sorta became attached to me. And he's fairly good company." I told her. "He can't locate the others."

"That's bad." Kurapika began to think. He would have to inform Dalzollene. We walked out and he called him. I put Pip in my pocket and he went back to sleep. We waited til his called was done. Melody and I waited patiently. There wasn't anything we could do. Chaos was everywhere. People were running in and out and calling and talking to whoever. It was a riot.

"Okay we are going to find the thieves." Kurapika told us. I nodded. We walked away from the scene. "There's going to be a second reward. The reward will create a second effect. The pride and the glory to gain will incite organizations not to cooperate." He told us.

"Our boss seems to think like this." Melody told us. We met up with our other teammates, they had a car. We all got in and followed everyone else. We ended up driving into a canyon.

There was a huge explosion. The driver sped even more. He stopped and we jumped out. There was another explosion.

"This way." Melody told us. We went to her and Kurapika pulled out the binoculars. He gasped at what he saw.

"He's also a nen user! Moreover he's particularly strong." He told us. "Those who came before us were beaten badly. It seems firearms don't affect him."

"Let me see!" I told him. He handed me the binoculars and I gasped. It was a familiar face.. The blood drained out of my face and I just.. I remembered the massacre. My heart began to beat wildly. I felt sick. There was an urge to run away and hide and then I felt a calming hand. I looked and it was Melody. Even Pip had came out of my pocket. I smiled and handed Kurapika the binoculars back. Even if I wasn't well on the inside, I would be able to fake it til I make it on the outside.

"I want to take a look, it'll be faster. With such a terrifying aura, we understand why. Also look at the number of bodies on the ground." He hand the binoculars to Dalzollene. He was visibly shaken up.

"Who is he?!" He cried out.

"Wha!? He mad confetti out of their bodies!" Squala yelled. "You wanna stop him!? Don't count on me this time.

Same here. I don't really think I can beat him." Basho agreed.

"That's true.. but we can't run away and leave without saying a word." Dalzollene answered. Everyone else was in shock.

"I'll be going with him if that helps." I told them.

"You!? But you're a tiny girl! Stay at the sidelines." Basho told me. I huffed.

"No. I'm going and there's no way you can stop me. You're a hundred years to early to be telling me what I can do." I repeated and then some. I gave him a nasty glare that wasn't well received. Kurapika didn't say a word, he knew I was capable. Suddenly I noticed Melody jump.

"What is it?" Kurapika asked. He had noticed it as well.

"Heart melody.. I don't know when but it went a step onward" Melody informed us. Just as she said, something was coming at us at an alarming rate. It was coming from underground when it stopped in front of the group and out popped this weird looking freaking creepy head which included his creepy as hell body too!

"Oh hell no! It's a bug! A monster!" I cried as I hid behind Kurapika, as it was unexcepted, Pip fell off my shoulder and landed with a thud. He gave me a glare and I shrugged, there was no way in hell would I work with someone as creepy as that thing! I crouched Kurapika and I could feel the judgmental stares from our fellow workers but I didn't care, I was 98.73% sure I was stronger than them. So what if bugs in general freaked me out. I hated them with a passion.

"I'm Worm from the Shadow Beasts." The creepy thing rasped. "What about you? Which organization do you belong to?"

"We're the bodyguards employed by Mr. Nostrad from the Ritz clan." Dalzollene answered.

"I see. I sense you know a bit of how to use nen. But if I were you I would renounce.. Especially the girl hiding." He rasped. Wait what did he say? Those were fighting words. I think Kurapika sense my intentions and he patted my head to calm me down, like that was suppose to calm me down!? Okay.. Maybe it did a little but I was still ready to fight that hideous creature whenever he wanted a fight. I sensed more bodies approaching. and unhid myself.

"He's no mere thief." Said this guy with spikey hair and unusually large teeth.

"Killing is a large part of his life. If you prefer, he's a professional." This short bald one spoke.

"He's a specialist." Another big one came. Everyone one looked confused on where they came from.

"Let the Shadow Beasts work." The spiky hair one spoke again. The scary one went back into the ground. And they walked off to fight the thieves. They went up to Uvo, he was the tall one with muscles and long spikey hair. The scary one went behind him and landed a hit on Uvo. His fingers looked odd after the punch. Then Uvo landed a hit against him and I knew it was deadly. Somehow the scary Worm was still alive and dragged his arm into the ground. It looked as if he was trapped but I knew better. The other three went to go attack him but he used his nen and and engulfed it into his fist and punched the ground. With that his spider tattoo was revealed, something I already knew. The others around me where in shock. I scoffed. This was nothing, he hadn't even started yet from what I gathered. Then I flinched.. What about Kurapika? I turned to look at him and he was frozen, his eyes were colder than ice. I saw anger engulf him. I wanted to comfort him but I was at a loss. How do I comfort someone when I an't even comfort myself? I decided to look back to the fight. There's nothing else I could do.

The other three attacked him at once. Uvo punched one of them and it was the short bald one.. except he wasn't bald? How did that happen? I looked and it appeared as if there was hair everywhere on him and he was attached to Uvo's fist. While he was occupied by the sudden turn of events the skinny one ran behind him and bit him like a dog. Uvo appeared to be frustrated and tried to punch the other big one but for some reason it didn't hurt him. I couldn't tell since he was so far away. They kept fighting him when suddenly Uvo stopped. While he was frozen the big one went and put his mouth near Uvo's wound and things spilled into it. They really were freaky. While I was shuddering, Uvo quickly bit into his head. It was so fast, blink and you miss it, fast. With that, that was two dead, and two left. I guess something happened but his aura overwhelmed the area once more. He then spit something out, bone, I assume, at the tall lanky one. It went through his head and he was dead as well. Then he yelled and it hurt my ears. I was thankful that I wasn't anywhere near him with his yell. The one attached to his fist let go and blood spurted out of his ears and even he was dead. Uvo plopped to the ground like nothing. Another one joined him down, I guess to inspect him.

Kurapika started to walk towards him, his mind made up.

"Kurapika! What are you doing?!" Squala yelled at him.

"What do you think? I'm going to stop him." He ignored them all and continued walking. I followed along. He wasn't going to leave me behind, I vowed to protect him.

"Are you kidding?! You saw what's he capable of, didn't you!? Are you following him too Mitsuki?!"

"So what?" Kurapika turned around. His bloodlust was in the air. His face was cold. I shrugged.

"Wherever he goes, I go." I told them smiling. I had trained day and night. I've done things, questionable things. It all led up to this moment. I could feel it.

"Kurapika! Wait! Are you in such a hurry to die? And you're dragging Mitsuki with you!?" Squala yelled at him. I huffed. Kurapika wasn't making me do anything.

"We'll ask for information and come back! It's an order!" Dalzollene yelled. I looked around. Everyone was freaking out from what they saw, Melody looked frightened and worried at the same time. The air around us all was tense, I felt that maybe a fight would break out soon. Then I saw a field of flowers. I heard a melody. It was calm and soothing. It was nen again.

"Field of Spring. The best melody to relax." Melody told us. "I think this calmed you, didn't it? Let's think before we attack."

"Ah.. Yeah." Dalzollene answered a bit stunned.

"Melody. It's okay. I've recovered my mind. Thank you." I heard Kurapika whisper. Melody did have amazing hearing. "But I'm still going to stop them." I saw her freeze.

"Boss. I have a good plan to stop them. Let me do it." Kurapika told Dalzollene.

"I'm going as well."

"No. Stay put. This one will go more smoothly if I go alone." Kurapika told me.

"What!? You aren't going without me and that's that!" I shouted. I will not put him in danger ever.

"I'm going to use the chains. But if you must you can watch." He answered trying not to show his irritation. I nodded. He told us how he was going to get his chains to grab him and that we would drive off. He made his chains appeared and they went after Uvo, the still injured one. The chains grabbed him and we quickly put him in the car and drove off. Everything went according to plan.

I sat in the front seat with Melody sitting on me. Kurapika was driving and he drove like a bat out of hell. Everything happened so fast. I looked over him and saw a nen wire. I instantly cut it. For once I was glad of my training.

The car ride was tense.

"You think you can retain me with these chains? I warn you, in a little bit-" Uvo started.

"Shut up!" Kurapika cut him off.

"You don't understand? You won't have this chance twice. If you don't kill me right now, you're going to regret it you know." Uvo answered confidently. I couldn't stop my heart from thumping, I would stop the shaking but right now, I wasn't angry.. I was terrified. Memories of the day kept replaying. The screams of agony and pain replayed in my ear. I saw red. My eyes were probably red. I was using every ounce of my will power to seem normal but I knew Melody knew I wasn't okay. I would never be okay.

Uvo realized he wasn't able to get out. He looked shocked as the chain kept tightened around him.

"I told you to shut up!" Kurapika growled at him.

"Kurapika! Look in front of you!" Melody shouted. I grabbed the wheel and swerved to miss the oncoming vehicle. Kurapika didn't let off the gas. I knew Kurapika was angry, no furious, no he was filled with rage.

"Kurapika stop picking a fight and start driving correctly! I don't know how to steer!" I shouted at him. I didn't want to be the reason we died! He knocked out Uvo and finally turned around and drove. I sighed in relief.

"Kurapika! Speed up!" We heard Dalzollene through the walkie talkie. "They're going to catch you!"

"Followed? Already?"

"I cut off the wire but that means they were already following us.. I can jump out and try to take them-"

"No." Kurapika cut me off. "You are not risking your life."

"I can stall them and then escape." I tried again.

"No. I'm not going to lose you." He told me. I finally nodded.. Maybe it would be safer to stick with him. To keep an eye on him. I knew Kurapika was underestimating me but I could handle them.. I wasn't on Hisoka level, but I was pretty damn close and Hisoka was around the same level as them.

"Kurapika it's time to change your itinerary an go back to town." Dalzollene told him.

"Understood."

"Direction change. To the place of plan C."

He kept on driving. We finally made it to our destination. It was a building owned by the Nostrads. While Uvo was still knocked out, we restrained him. I didn't feel like it was enough.

"Wake up!" Dalzollene shouted at Uvo. He did wake up. "I think you understand what's going to happen to you right now. Where are the objects from the auction that you stole?" He questioned.

"..What time is it? Have I slept a lot?" Uvo asked. He wasn't worried at all.

"I don't think you understand. Here, the questions are asked by me!" Dalzollene shouted as he tried to stab his knife into Uvo but his body was covered in aura and the knife wouldn't be able to penetrate his skin. His concentration was incredible. Dalzollene was in shock.

"You don't want to release me? I'll let you live, so untie me right now." Uvo told him.

"What.. How?" Squala asked a bit shaken.

"He's serious." Melody confirmed to us.

"Are you kidding!? You should be the one hoping to be spared!" Squala shouted angrily.

"I'll say it for the last time. The only things we want are objects from the auction. But since you don't look like you know any more than us, you don't interest us." Uvo said simply. His words rang through my head. He had no clue where the auction items were at? They didn't steal it?

"Wait! You mean you aren't the ones who stole them?" Melody asked coming to the same conclusion as me.

"The chest was already empty. The ones called Shadow Beasts took everything away. It seems you didn't get this information." Uvo answered.

"He's.. Not lying." Melody confirmed for us.

"Everyone can make mistakes. We haven't stolen anything yet. So you just have to release me and ignore what happened and I guarantee we'll spare your lives." Uvo's words chilled the room. I was in the back trying to calm myself down and yet with each sentence he kept making me angrier and angrier.

"What happened to the clients? Our teammates were among them. Answer." Kurapika demanded. He was trying to not let it get to him..

"I see.. It's a shame to say but we killed them as it was planned." Before another breath could be taken, Kurapika punched him in the face.

"You.. How many must die to respect 'your plan'?!" Kurapika asked, his voice held nothing but anger. He broke Uvo's nose and blood was coming out.

"Calm down Kurapika." Basho told him. He held down Kurapika to prevent him from hurting Uvo more.

"If the objects are safe, his part stops here. We'll deliver him to the community." Dalzollene told him.

"A prisoner by mistake?" Uvo joked. I had enough and left the room. Kurapika followed soon after. We walked to the living room. He stood near the hallway waiting for Hisoka. I decided to turn on my phone. Soon enough my phone was filled with messages and voicemails. There was so many!

I saw a few from Gon, Killua, Leorio and most of my inbox was filled with Hikaru. I sweatdropped for a moment. I listened to my voicemails and it was mainly Hikaru too. Turns out she has already met up with Gon and the gang. They were already together. Sadly what was going on around us took priority over them. Well at least to Kurapika. It was tough. As I read the messages I felt a pang of nostalgia. They were wondering where we were and when to meet up. Killua's was funny as he asked why the hag was with them and if she had any friends and such. Hikaru had sent many picture messages and I giggled at some. It lifted my mood up a bit. I showed Kurapika and he gave a small smile.

"So are we still waiting for the word?" I asked standing next to him. He nodded. "I see. I wonder what's holding him up."

"Who knows. Maybe he lied to us." Kurapika replied.

"You think he would?"

"It's a possibility but if he has information, I want to know." Kurapika replied. He petted my head for a moment and all felt well. I was thinking about sending them a message but before I could reach a conclusion, Hisoka messaged Kurapika. "Speak of the clown." I commented dryly.

"Let's go." Kurapika was in full on business mode.
