Saki flushed slightly as Kisuke eyed her over. She tugged at the edge of her new school uniform, nervous. "Well?"
"You look great." Kisuke smiled. "Like a normal high school human student." He picked up a bag and handed it over. "All you need for school is in here, and don't worry about arrancars or soul reapers recognizing you by spiritual pressure."
"Why not?" Saki asked, just now thinking about that possibility.
"I created this gigia specifically to hide your spiritual pressure. Unless they recognize you by your hair, you'll be well hidden."
Saki touched her hair. "Should I do something about that?"
Kisuke looked at her and then walked over to a box. He pulled out a pair of scissors. "Shall I cut it?"
Saki nodded, she had no deep connection to her hair. If anything she felt angry at her hair because of the connection to Gin by color. "Bellow the ears."
Kisuke nodded and quickly cut the hair. "There you go." He stepped back to admire his work. "Good, now Tessai will be dropping you off."
Saki walked into the classroom, nervous. True to his word, Saki's spiritual pressure had been hidden. Saki moved to the back and sat down, hoping to stay hidden. She set her stuff down and shifted to look around the room. It was full of students. "HELLO!" Saki practically jumped out of her gigia as a brown haired guy popped up in her side view. "Are you new?"
"Uh… Yeah, I'm new." Saki looked the boy over. He seemed to be a complete idiot.
"I'm Keigo Asano!" He smiled. "And you are?"
"Saki Suzumi." Saki answered. "I just moved into town."
"Well it's nice to meet you." He smiled.
"Hey Keigo." Another teen boy walked in. He had short black hair.
"Mizuiro, hey buddy!" He smiled. "Come meet my new friend Saki! She just moved into town!"
"Nice to meet you." He bowed. "I am Mizuiro Kojima."
"Nice to meet you." Saki smiled. This isn't too bad…. I've already meet new people.
"Hey." Saki blinked as she looked up. Staring at her in shock was Ichigo. "You!"
"You know her Ichigo?" Keigo asked.
"Uh… Yeah… We've meet before…" Ichigo blinked shocked. "What are you doing here? Is Natsumi here?!"
Saki shook her head. "No… I had to leave and come here."
"ICHIGO?!" Keigo whined. "How do you know her? And who is this girl Natsumi?!"
Ichigo ignored Keigo. "Is she okay?"
Saki nodded. "She's fine… still angry at you."
"Ichigo? Who is Natsumi?" Mizuiro asked calmly while Keigo acted crazy. Saki was surprised the two were best friends when they were opposites.
"My girlfriend." Ichigo answered.
Keigo and Mizuiro stared at Ichigo in shock. "Girlfriend?" They asked together.
"But they are in a fight right now, so I don't know how much longer that will last." Saki smiled. "But I'm not worried… They are both just being too stubborn."
"I told her I didn't know!" Ichigo frowned.
Keigo and Mizuiro stared between Ichigo and Saki confused and wondering just what had happened. "Hey!" The teacher had walked in at that moment and hit Ichigo on the head with a book. "Sit down bleach boy." Ichigo grumbled, but the teacher's attention was suddenly drawn towards Saki. "Are you the new student?"
Saki nodded. "Saki Suzumi."
The teacher eyed her over and frowned. "What's with your hair?"
Saki flinched and fingered her hair. "I…It's natural…" Saki looked down, wondering if she should have dyed it instead.
"Oh?" The teacher blinked, and then headed to the front of the room. "Alright class, let's begin class now."
Saki watched as Ichigo moved over to his seat. She began to think about Natsumi and wondered if she would be able to handle living in the world of the living if she was in Ichigo's class. She shook her head and tried to pay attention to her teacher, she needed to pay attention since this would be her life from then on.
"What do you mean you left her with Kisuke Urahara?" Soi Fon frowned. All the captains watched Toshiro. Some were angry, others were curious. Byakuya frowned.
"I took her there because I didn't think we should leave her here in the soul society. The captains don't have the time to watch her and imprisoning her would turn her into an enemy." Toshiro said calmly. "Kisuke could protect her and keep Aizen and Gin from finding her."
"Do you really think Aizen won't be able to find her?" Shunsui frowned. "She's in the world of the living; he can send arrancars to find him."
Toshiro looked over calmly. "Then we should find him and take him down quickly, but until then we should leave her alone and trust Kisuke to keep her safe."
"He might be right." Unohana nodded. "If we leave her alone she might choose to just continue living as a human and avoid anything to do with hollows and soul reapers. If that is the case then she will not be a problem or someone we need to worry about."
"Very well." Yamamoto nodded. "We will decide what to do about her after we have defeated Aizen." He dismissed the captains.
Byakuya walked out thinking about Saki. He was worried about her… but he was also jealous of the possibility of some human man sweeping her off her feet. He could see it, a human boy sweet talking her and then marrying her. Byakuya knew that it wasn't his business now, but he still couldn't stop himself from feeling angry at it. He loved Saki, and wanted to have her at his side…. But right now that was impossible, and maybe it would never be possible. He closed his eyes for a moment and then headed to his squad to look into defeating Aizen and Gin.
