Chapter XXV

My Name is …

Birds twittered. Wind blew through the open windows. Sunlight streamed in.

Sora opened his eyes.

He rose slowly from a soft bed. He was wearing a white cloth shirt that was pretty big on him and brown, cloth trousers that were also slightly big. His necklace was still on him and he blinked a few times.

"Where and the hell am I?" he asked aloud. He heard a stifled moan escape a body next to him. He looked over and there was Kairi. She was in attire just like his, her necklace, too, was still on. He got out of bed and felt refreshed. His wounds were completely healed. Hers had been too. She opened her eyes and looked at him. They both smiled. He crushed her in a hug as she sat up. Their lips met each other and they continued to hold one another.

"Where are we?" she asked.

"I don't know," he replied.

They were in a simple room, bare of everything but their two beds, a stand in between them, and a chair in a corner that faced them, as if someone had been keeping watch. A dazzling sun streamed into the room, warming it. Sora breathed in the fresh air.

"Wherever we are, I feel safe," Kairi told him. Then, a door in the room opened. In walked a female wearing a cloak, concealing her features, yet even then, Sora felt like she was familiar somehow. She walked over to them.

"Hello? Where are we? Who are you?" Sora asked, staring at the newcomer intently. His mouth hung open as her eyes flashed to his for a second beneath the cowl. He remembered those, he just couldn't place them. "We've met before, haven't we?"

"Hello Sora, Kairi. Yes, we've met, when we did … I told you my name was One, but I think you deserve more than that now. You deserve a proper introduction and an explanation," she answered, calm and gentle was her voice. She pulled back the cloak and revealed herself to them for the first time. "You are in the world of I'ltorien, in the base of our organization and my home. My name is Tina Branford, and welcome to the Harbingers."

TN: So, it's finally done! Book one is complete!

TUH: *Walks around in Terra pajamas and with a plushie* I missed you soooo much.

TN: I can't wait to start becoming an intricate part of I'ltorien! This is gonna be SOOO awesome!

TUH: Just don't spoil anymore. Let's start with the thank yous.
