Together again
"Hm, doesn't look any different from the last time I was here." Shizuka muttered. "Oh this building his new. Aren't you going to say something?" Poking at the snake the demon uncoiled from her neck slowly transforming back.
"Its what my son set up when he became the ruler of Ikebukuro. He only lets the best and most interesting of demons in. I'm surprised he let your sons in." Kanra explained waspishly. "Come on then. We'll see what damage your brats have done. Looks like I'll have to come with you or you'll never get through."
Shizuka shrugged not really caring. Saika could cut through anything, even her if the blade touched her skin. "I wonder if he's still alive...should be." A single brow raised the snake demon looking at her like she was nuts. "In case you were wondering I was talking about an old friend, well an old fiancée." Even if the man was certifiably insane, obsessed with cheating death and was the father of her youngest child. If he was smart then he would have set up somewhere along the line of the barrier where all of her children could enter.
"Someone else's husband you stole?" Kanra sniped at her clasping a hand around her wrist. "Why aren't you writhing around on the ground?" Shizuka shrugged walking on ahead. The mark was still there trying to bind her to the demon but Saika was in her hand the sword's power active.
"I'm under Saika's influence. Don't worry, as long as you don't get too close I'm sure I won't accidentally kill you." It felt good to be in control again. "I need to get out of this damn dress. I hate dresses."
"First we're going to check on my son." The demon snapped walking in front of her. Shizuka shrugged pausing. "What now?" Shaking her head the blonde blinked feeling something familiar, very familiar.
"This city is going to be destroyed." She found herself saying. Taking the demon's hand Shizuka ran into what looked like a waiting room. "What is this?" The demon only sighed showing how bored she was.
"Processing. Any one who wishes to enter Ikebukuro must take a ticket and wait for an interview. Looks like you'll be here a while." Rolling her shoulders, Shizuka twirled the hilt of the blade slashing straight through the counter. "Barbarian. How can you call yourself an angel?" Kanra grumbled stepping forward to expose her mark. "We're not here to stay. I'm here to see my son Izaya."
A shaky finger pointed at the door to the far right. "See we didn't have to wait." She received a glare in return. "What's wrong with you?"
"For someone that doesn't feel anything, you look like you're having a lot of fun." Shizuka shrugged hurrying through the door. "In case you didn't know the tips of your hair are black."
"I thought so. Saika is trying to take over."

Against her better judgement, Shizuka allowed Kanra to lead them to Izaya's apartment. The fact that she didn't have a clue if her old friend was still alive or where he was, not to mention she had no money on her... Either way the demon had got her own way. In the lift she felt the same feeling again. Who or what was it?
When the doors opened she was yanked from the lift pulled along the corridor. Before they even reached the door, the door swung open, standing in the doorway was another demon identical to Kanra except for the cat ears. "Mother, what are you doing here?" Shizuka pushed past them following the gold light on the floor. "You must be Shizu-chan's mother. I'm afraid he's asleep at the moment."
The blonde waved their words away her eyes widening seeing the pattern. Her son was sleeping on the sofa a faint light surrounding him. Looking up she could see a gaping hole in what looked like it used to be a bedroom. Moving closer she could feel the resistance pushing against her. The gold patterns didn't want her near him. Shizuka bit her lip her hand snapping back unable to touch her son's hair. She did get closer enough however to see the changed mark on Shizuo's chest.
"What the hell did you do?" She growled storming over to the cat demon. "What the fuck did you do to my son?" From the corner of her eye she could see more of her hair turn black. Clutching tightly to Saika, Shizuka swung the blade slicing the wall where the demon had been standing only moments ago.
"Shizuka-chan, was it? Shizu-chan is my soul mate." Shizuka pivoted bringing the blade down in a arch. "After we were bonded he fell into his awakening sleep."
"Did you leave out the part where you're half brothers?" The angel aimed again only for the demon to dodge every strike. "That is not a sign of awakening for an angel." She snapped gasping in surprise when Kanra's arm wrapped around her throat.
"Hm, it might be that Shizu-chan didn't know we were related until it was too late. If it makes a difference, I lost one of my lives."
"No it doesn't. Why don't you lose a few more."
"Shizuka, why am I not surprised?" Hearing a voice full of mirth, Shizuka glanced up seeing a human with a gas mask and a white lab coat.
"Shingen." Shizuka smiled. "You're alive after all then?"
"Of course. I'm not ready to die just yet. Its down to your blood and a few dozen experiments. The only downfall is with blood, I get sick when I'm in the demon half of Ikebukuro. Never mind that. The reason I'm here is this one. He doesn't have a sense of direction."
"Tsuki!" Shrugging Kanra away from her, Shizuka ran to the door throwing her arms around her youngest son. "What are you doing here?" Her son hugged her back sobbing against her shoulder.
"S-sorry, mama. I-I couldn't control it."
"Don't worry about it. I'm glad you're okay. Tsuki, did you meet anyone strange?" She asked getting a strange feeling.
"I met Roppi-kun but he's my friend. I met one of your friends too."
"One of my friends?" Shizuka asked slowly. There shouldn't be a lot of people that knew about her. Tsukishima nodded a smile on his lips.
"Yep. He was really nice." Glancing up Shingen shrugged.
"Don't ask me, I found him wandering along the outskirts. Looks like there's a medical emergency. See you later, Shizuka. Do try to stay out of trouble." With that the door slammed shut.
"Tsuki, what have I told you about talking to strangers?" If they knew his secret then...She didn't want to think about it.
"B-but Mikado-kun said he was your friend." Mikado? Why did that name feel familiar? "He asked me to pass on a message." Shizuka's eyes widened seeing that there was a blue light glowing in her son's hand. Tsuki opened his palm showing the bright blue ball, a series of zeros and ones went around and around. Reaching out her fingertips sparked touching the ball. "Mama!" Shizuka clutched the ball flying back, slamming into the wall.

Delic shivered not because he was naked but because he felt someone familiar. His mother was in Ikebukuro. He wasn't sure how he knew or why a cold chill ran through him. "Hibiya-sama, my mother has arrived in Ikebukuro." The arrogant raven stretched out on the bed.
"You want to see her, is that it?"
"Not really. I'll probably get the scolding of a lifetime." The fallen angel sighed.
"I see, then we shall go. Get dressed in the attire provided." Pink eyes widened in shock.
"What?" All of his other requests had been denied. "Are you trying to make me suffer?" Delic grumbled slipping from the bed. Still if he could by chance see Shizuo as well, facing his mother's wrath might not be such a bad thing.

"Tsu-chan." He heard Psyche cry out. Clutching at his wing, Tsugaru hissed seeing the gaping hole. "Are you okay? Don't worry I'll find help." A pained smile touched his lips at the realisation that Psyche was seeing Ikebukuro for the first time and instead of looking around and being overly excited, the rabbit demon was more concerned about him.
"I-I'll get help." Quick as a flash the demon had his phone in hand, talking rapidly to whoever was on the other end. Tsugaru cringed seeing his blood seep into his clothes. "I know where Izaya-nii lives. Come on." Hooking his arm over the worried raven, the newly fallen angel slumped forward.
"Why is it, you're always saving me?" He muttered feeling his surroundings blur. The demon didn't answer clutching tightly to him muttering his name over and over in panic.

When Tsugaru opened his eyes he found Psyche staring down at him along with a demon identical to his soul mate and another female demon. "You're lucky I called Shingen-san back." The demon with cat ears explained. "Any more and we'll have to go somewhere else."
"Tsu-chan!" Glancing up he could see a futon underneath him, his wing wrapped behind his back. "You're awake. This is Izaya-nii and my mama." The blond nodded finding himself staring at the golden markings on the floor. Pulling himself up he could see Shizuo was asleep on the sofa. Tsuki was over by the wall sitting next to his mother who looked like she was sleeping. Judging by the hole in the wall that wasn't the case.
"Tsuki, you're here too?" His body swayed held up awkwardly by Psyche.
"Tsu-nii. I- I think I did something bad. Mama won't wake up."
"Looks like there's only a few more to go and then it'll be a full house. I guess we should be thankful for the barrier or else Ikebukuro would become a battleground." The cat demon Izaya headed over to the door with a sigh. "Hibiya and Deli-chan."
"Shizuo!" Delic went to run forward only to be tugged back.
"Where do you think you're going?" Both Izaya and the newcomer growled. That only left his twin wherever he was and whoever Tsuki looked like he was anxiously waiting for.

The temple again. Shizuka glanced up seeing the tall pillars. Everything was as good as new. Hearing laughter outside, the blond hiked up the hem of her white dress running down the stairs. What met her was a field of flowers in all sorted colours. There were two more figures playing among the flowers enraptured with each other.
Running forward Shizuka froze at the fountain catching a glimpse of her reflection. "Wha-" Her mouth fell open finding a child staring back at her. "This is-" Reaching up to touch her cheek she found her reflection doing the same. Why? How was she a child? She had no memories as a child. Her first memory was of opening her eyes staring up at the arch angel she would call father. Before that there was nothing.
Stumbling back in shock, the blonde fell back amongst the flowers. The laughter continued. Pushing herself up, she felt a stab of jealously running forward. Before her eyes the scene rippled just like the fountain surface. The two figures were sitting together but she couldn't see their faces. "Shizuka-sama." The pair hadn't noticed her, the three next to them had though. Glancing down she knew she had grown up. Not quite into her current body but pretty close. "Shizuka-sama." The boy called again.
A boy with blond hair, a girl with black hair and red eyes and the boy that had called her, black hair and blue eyes. She knew them. "Mikado? Anri? Masaomi?" She knew them. All three smiled back at her. Dropping to her knees she disrupted the pair that was ignoring her. Seeing their faces Shizuka froze. "Can't be..."
Shizuka shot upright reaching up to touch the lone tear. The blue ball remained in her hand looking slightly smaller. She remembered everything. How she had been cursed, why she had hurt those closest to her and what she had really been after. "Mama." Looking around the room she could see the number of occupants had increased.
Tsugaru had been injured. Only one of her sons was missing. "Where's Shitsuo?" Delic shrugged. Was that a collar around his throat? Tsugaru groaned trying to make his way over to her and Tsuki, well Tsuki probably blamed himself for her passing out. "Tsuki, thank you."
Her youngest son sniffled. "B-but it hurt you."
"Ugh." Shizuka groaned pushing herself up. "Heh, he grew up. I didn't expect him to gain a power like that. Tsuki, come here. Is there somewhere I can talk with my son's in private?"
"My room is through there." The cat demon answered warily.
"Good." Gently taking Tsukishima's hand she led him and the other two into the room shooting a warning glare at Kanra. Keeping the ball in one hand Shizuka in turn hugged each one of her sons. "Delic, no need to look so worried. Your crush on Shizuo isn't your fault. Learn to control your power. You're using it on yourself. Don't make the same mistake I did."
Being careful of Tsugaru's wing she held his hand in hers. "Tsugaru, I'm sorry I wasn't much of a mother. Because of my curse, I couldn't love you as I should have. Take care of your brothers."
Lastly was Tsuki. "Tsuki, I need you to grow up, okay? Be careful of who you trust. Your power isn't what you think it is. I became like this because I couldn't control my power. I know nothing about control, so I'll send someone to help you, okay?"
"Where are you going?" Tsugaru asked.
"This ball here, is full of an old friend's power. It has three uses. The first to break any memory locks. The second to break a seal and the third to put a small hole in a curse. I'm going to tell you something okay, it has to be a secret." One by one they nodded. "Good. Tell Shitsuo for me too, okay?"
x-x-x
Shizuka smiled bitterly knowing that deep down she wasn't feeling anything. Anything she did feel wasn't a sign of her curse breaking. No, it was an echo from her powers. The ones that had taken over and ruined everything. Her three sons stood by the wall, Tsugaru trying to calm Tsuki who was crying.
Walking around the sofa, Shizuka crouched down picking up Saika. "You demons might want to get out of here." She sighed. "This is going to get messy." Not a single one of them moved. "Suit yourselves. Ikebukuro is going to be destroyed but I guess thanks to those stupid prophecies you already knew that." Twirling the ball in one hand she watched as the numbers flickered quicker and quicker. Throwing the ball into the air she watched as it flew high landing on Shizuo's chest. A blue light shot out spinning faster and faster growing smaller. The gold markings on the floor turned blue and then black crackling away. The faint glow turned dark solidifying and crumbling away. "Looks like it worked. At least he won't be cursed."
Snatching what was left of the blue ball up. Shizuka stepped back watching as Shizuo twitched his eyes snapping open holding nothing but hatred. The sofa collapsed though the floor, everyone backing away. Crimson wings shot out spanning wide across the room. Anything that was touched crumbled away. The walls caved in, the sky clear as the roof ripped from the apartment. The god of destruction had awoken. Clutching hold of the ball Shizuka spread her own wings flying clear of the crumbling building and after her son.

Delic sighed leaping in the air spreading his wings. Swooping forward he grabbed Hibiya knowing he couldn't get far without him. "Shizuo." Right now it didn't matter about the humans seeing them. His gaze focused on Shizuo. Just a little bit more and he could reach them.
"Tsu-chan." Tsugaru blinked finding Psyche by his side. "You can't fly in that state." The newly fallen angel grimaced stretching his wings. With a sigh the hyper demon changed into his rabbit form. Clutching tightly to his lover, Tsugaru grit his teeth flying unsteadily through the sky.
Tsuki blinked spreading his own wings. He wasn't confident on flying. Clenching his fists his eyes snapped open hands glowing enveloping the cat and snake. When he opened his eyes he was on the ground being held up by the cat demon. Looking up he could see the sky explode raining down purple shards. "Looks like it was Shizu-chan after all." The demon muttered letting him go.
"W-what is that?" Tsuki asked nervously pointing.
"Its not normal for this to happen. I haven't seen it so I can't say for sure. I'd say that is what's left of the barrier. Shizu-chan smashed the barrier."
"Y-yeah." The blond lowered his head too afraid to see what was happening. "Mama said that only a g-god could break another god's p-power." The demon raised a brow, a cynical smile on his face.
"Gods don't exist. I'm going to stop, Shizu-chan. This time I'm not losing a life." Tsuki said nothing slumping on the ground. The purple shards continued to fall, in the distance the ground rumbled and buildings trembled as they fell. Humans screamed running in all directions whilst the angels and demons from each section stood at the threshold where the barrier once was. "R-Roppi-kun. I need you here." The angel cried his fingertips glowing.
A bright light flashed in front of him. Instead of him going to where his friend was, his friend was in front of him looking bewildered. "Did you do this?" Roppi growled ears twitching as he took in his surroundings. Tsuki grinned leaping to his feet.
"Roppi-kun!" He cried leaping at the demon and clinging tightly. "I-I was so scared. I-I did something bad but it was good. Shizuo-nii is d-destroying the city and and- I missed you!" Roppi rapped him on the head pulling him close.
