(Author's note: Bear with me you guys. I unfortunately haven't written anything in well over a year. So yeah this could be really bad who knows let's jump right in. Again sorry for the hiatus. A raging storm was beginning to subside as the young ponies Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash trotted through the vastly vast forest of Sweet Apple Acres. With Applejack lying unconscious on Rainbow Dash's back her hind leg was bleeding blood ran down dripping off of her hoof onto the ground leaving a trail. Twilight panted heavily from lack of breath her face was plush red. "You okay?" Dashie concerningly asked whilst managing to twist her head around looking over Applejack back at her.
Twilight gasped for air as her horn glowed red hot she had been previously carrying Applejack with her magic alas she could no longer. "I'm sorry Rainbow I just feel really tired using my magic like that... Ugh... My horn hurts..." Twilight mumbled as she gently caressed her horn it felt warming to the touch. Rainbow Dash turned facing forward into the darkened dreary wet forest ahead she could hear her heart pounding from fear of Applejack's wellbeing and her ever growing exhaustion. 'This isn't good... I can't fly with somepony in the rain and if I leave to get help I might not be able to find my way back.' Dash thought to herself as she squinted her eyes shut tight.
The sun was beginning to set in the grassy valley where they had first found Applejack. A gentle breeze sent leaves spiraling through the air so peacefully... That peace was hiding danger as multiple pairs of glowing demonic eyes shined through the darkened forest. An orangish hue cast out by the sitting sun lashed out across the valley leaving ominous shadows from unwanted creatures on the ground. Lightning flashed...
Thunder roared as Applejack's eyes slowly began opening her eyesight was blurry. A flurry of pain rushed down her left hind leg causing her to squeeze her eyes shut tight as she lightly moaned out in pain alerting Rainbow and Twilight of her newly restored consciousness. "Applejack... Applejack you're awake... Applejack..." They both asked in great concern. All the injured pony could hear was ringing in her ears from the thunder after a moment of two adapting to the new found unwanted pain she slowly opened her eyes looking down unto the muddy forest ground seeing that she was moving.
Rainbow stopped suddenly needing to catch her breath she turned her head to look at Applejack who seemed confused to her whereabouts. Applejack turned looking up to Rainbow Dash seeing a soft smile on her face which was bright red from exhaustion she then turned to face Twilight seeing there smiles almost made the pain vanish. "Where... Where are we?" The confused earth pony asked as she looked around seeing the heavily vegetated forest she recognized it as the Apple Acres but it seemed different but familiar her head was still throbbing she couldn't remember well enough.
Applejack turned back to Rainbow Dash looking her dead in the eyes who had finally grasped ahold of her breath. "W-we carried you... Well I am carrying you. Twilight just used her magic until she couldn't anymore..." Twilight frowned angrily as she glared evil eyes into Rainbow Dash's soul she could feel the cold stare. "Just... JUST! I've been carrying her way longer than you... Do you have any idea what magically induced headaches even feel like... " Both Rainbow Dash and Applejack turned their heads seeing Twilight breathe steam out of her nostrils. "Uhh... How bad are they?" Dashie asked innocently and without letting a second pass. "They're like being bucked upside the head a hundred times... By Big Macintosh." Twilight replied plainly while Rainbow Dash merely gulped heavily.
"...Wait so ya'll two carried me all the way here through the forest." Applejack asked softly. "Yes!" They both yelled happily aloud with a smile across there faces. Rain gently drizzled down onto the three ponies as Applejack's eyes began to water. "Thank you!" Twilight and Rainbow turned looking at each other for a moment before turning back to Applejack. "For what...?" Applejack sniffled lightly as she raised a hoof to whip her face. "For being there for me, when ah was lost thank you, both of you!" Suddenly Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle broke out into light chuckles. Twilight walked up beside of Rainbow Dash and faced Applejack who was still resting on the pegasi's back. "We don't need a thank you Applejack we are always going to be there for you no matter what!"
Applejack looked back and forth panning between Rainbow Dash and Twilight as they smiled happily at her. The earth pony's heart pounded heavily the worry fear and pain she had felt was gone. "Yeah silly! We've always got your back!" Rainbow stated as her and Twilight leaned in gently planting a loving kiss upon each of Applejack's chubby little cheeks. They both pulled back looking unto her seeing her bright red face as she smiled happily knowing everything was going to be okay!
The trees surrounding the three ponies were thick and vast in all directions the sun had finally set. A slight chill ran down there spins breaking the most perfect of moods. They were wet from the rain weak from the travel but still so full of love enough to hold them together forever. A darkness quickly fell upon the forest from the obvious lack of sunlight of course. Twilight grunted angrily. "Oh... Just great...!"
Meanwhile at Rarity's Carousel Boutique. Spike sat in the middle of the floor sitting in a small puddle of his own pee brought on by a very close call with a metal weathervane that threatened to impale him into the ground. His life had flashed before his eyes he watched as all of his friends everyone he knew and loved faded from his sight over and over again. This would haunt him forever as it did Sweetie Belle. If she hadn't had gone outside when she did Spike would be dead right now. It had occurred to both of them it what was racing through their minds.
Spike continued to embarrassingly cover himself with his hands he looked up to see Sweetie Belle tip toeing down the hall to run him a bath. 'Sh-she sa-saved me... If it w-wasn't for her I-I would be... I w-would be...' Spike quickly squeezed his eyes shut as a few tears escaped him slowly running down his cheeks. Spike's heart pounded heavily he could hardly breathe he was so scared and confused his head was racing with thoughts of life and death thoughts of his friends and most of all her. 'Sweetie Belle...'
Sweetie Belle slowly trotted down the dimly lit hallway the only visible light was coming from a window down the hall guiding her way. Lightning flashed brightly outside causing the hallway to light up and then darken once more. Her hoof steps echoed loudly as she gulped heavily she too could barely breathe. The young filly could hear her own heart beat pounding in her ears she couldn't take this seeing Spike like that was very upsetting to her. She wore a small frown upon her face thinking about Spike's ordeal.
Sweetie Belle rushed into the bathroom flipping on the lights only to be met with a disturbing surprise. She instantly stopped in her tracks as she glared down at the floor and then to the side of the tub she raised a brow in utter confusion. "Eww... What is all this weird stuff...? It's everywhere..." She said as she panned between the tub and floor it kinda looked like dried up mayonnaise or lotion it didn't smell like it though. Sweetie Belle swiftly stepped over it moving to turn on the water in the tub her horn glowed brightly as the faucet's turned on and a towel rose up from as if out of nowhere it then began to vigorously scrub the floor.
Sweetie Belle gently rubbed her chin pondering the subject. "Now that I think about it. I think I saw some of this same stuff in the hallway a few hours ago, it's so weird!" Sweetie Belle stated innocently as she gently tapped some that was stuck on the side of tub. It was dried solid on the tub she tapped it again breaking it off causing it to fall to the floor. Her magic engulfed it she quickly threw it in the toilet then flushed sending it away. 'So gross...'
The little filly leaned against the side of the tub as she stuck one of her hooves in the water to test it's temperature. "Ahh! Not to hot or too cold... Perfect!" The bathroom warmed up rather quick the mirror on the wall fogged up as Sweetie Belle darted past it exiting the bathroom down the hallway she ran.
Spike sat on the floor whimpering he wasn't prepared for today not in the least. He suddenly felt something touch his shoulder he quickly opened his eyes looking up to see Sweetie Belle smiling happily at him. She sat down right next to him not even minding the pee not caring as she wrapped a hoof around Spike's back pulling him close. "Ar-are you okay?" She asked in a soft concerning tone at first spike didn't respond he just couldn't find his voice. "...Y-yeah... I-I'm... F-fine..." Spike mumbled somewhat embarrassingly as he looked away. Lightning once again flashed outside thunder roared loudly slightly startling Spike sending a chill down his back. The light illuminating the room revealed Spike's freshly tear stained face causing Sweetie Belle's smile to fade.
She wasn't in the least bit convinced that he was okay she continued to glare at him now just angrier. The storm seemed to be letting up but the rain proceeded to pound the Boutique. The weathervane falling onto Spike continued to play on repeat in his head. Sweetie Belle gently rested her hoof on top of Spike's right hand. "Spike please..." She muttered softly while he squinted his eyes tightly before sighing heavily giving in as thunder crackled loudly in the background. "...I'm-I'm sca-scared...!" He managed to whisper as he began lightly pouting into his hands he was so embarrassed so scared and so confused.
Sweetie Belle instantaneously without even knowing it without skipping a beat she leapt forward toward him wrapping her forelegs around him holding onto him. "I-I know Spike..." She mumbled while hugging him as tightly as she could trying to comfort him a tear sparked in her eyes. "You don't have to be afraid... I'm here for you Spike and I am not going anywhere." She said in a docile comforting tone. Tears continued running down the side of Spike's face. "I j-just thought I wa-was g-gonna die and it scared me s-so much!" He whimpered while slowly raising his head out of his hands regaining an ounce of his courage. A single sparkling tear slid down Sweetie Belle's face dripping down onto Spike's head.
Sweetie Belle's horn glowed brightly her eyes shot open realizing that she needed to change the mood her magic engulfed Spike. She suddenly bounced up moving him on to her back he leaned forward resting on top of her as she slowly trotted down the hallway. "I'm a d-dragon, you know... and I'm not supposed to get sc-scared like that...!" Spike stated a bit of sadness still present in his voice as he lowered his head in shame. Sweetie Belle chuckled softly trying not to seem rude. "...S-Spike everyone gets scared from time to time but it'll be alright we'll make it through this together, I promise..." The little baby dragon softly smiled a small smile. "...You know Spike... I was scared too bu-but you're okay and that is all that really matters!" Sweetie Belle stated cheerfully.
Spike still had this shadow of fear looming over him like a blanket packed to tight strangling you in the night with its overwhelming warmth. Despite all that he could feel safe and happy just by hearing her voice it'd suddenly sparked a change in him. Spike nuzzled into Sweetie Belle's furry back feeling her warmth he was somewhat amazed this little filly could carry him. "Th-thank y-you Sweetie Belle!" Spikey mumbled softly as a few final tears dropped down onto Sweetie Belle's back who suddenly stopped instantly coming to a halt. The little filly giggled innocently. "...For what? You have nothing to thank me for... I'll always be there for you Spike, always." She said happily whilst turning to gently rub her nose against Spike's soft moist cheek causing him to blush happily.
Elsewhere at Applejack's Farm House. Scootaloo and Apple Bloom laid in a bush of thorny bright red beautiful roses they didn't mind the little pricks whatsoever. Rain gently drizzled onto the two fillies as the storm for them was beginning to pass. A thick dew remained blanketing the roses giving off quite a delicate scent it was simply intoxicating. Scootaloo reached over to the side of the bush that she wasn't sitting on and carefully plucked a rose from it's root. She picked the thrones out before placing it behind Apple Bloom's left ear.
Apple Bloom smiled widely in great delight causing Scootaloo to blush lightly while she slowly leaned forward gently nuzzling her nose against Apple Bloom's. A fierce breeze unexpectedly brushed past behind Apple Bloom's back sending a chill down her spin and a shiver throughout her body. "Brrrr... Ah think we should go inside Scootaloo it's getting mighty chilly out here!" The little filly stated while looking around to see how dark it had gotten. Scootaloo without responding quickly bounced up shaking her booty slinging a few thrones and rose peddles out of her fur. Apple Bloom was about to get up when Scootaloo suddenly leant her hoof to aid her up. "Oh-h... Thank you Scootaloo!"
Scootaloo and Apple Bloom slowly began trotting around the side of the farm house through the muddy grounds heading toward the front porch. "Umm... Apple Bloom so I was wondering what do you think ab-about t-two mares lik-liking one another..." A question a seemingly random but important question Scootaloo asked with a bright red face and an unsteady tone she still unfortunately had this cowering fear holding tight onto her heart. Apple Bloom turned her head slightly looking over to Scootaloo giving her a soft warming smile it was much needed in these cold times. "Well ah don't know Scootaloo... Ah don't see anything wrong with it...! Ah mean it's not like an angry mob is gonna come and run us outta town..." Apple Bloom joked while chuckling softly. Silence unexpectedly befell the two.
Apple Bloom and Scootaloo stepped up onto the porch they firmly whipped there hooves onto a rug in front of the door the mat read as welcome. Echoing thunder raged on in the distance a flash of lightning illuminated the porch as the two fillies turned facing one another. There smiles had faded. "You-you don't think an angry mob with pitch forks and torches would come and run us outta town do yah?" Apple Bloom asked fearfully while glaring into Scootaloo's eyes searching for assurance the pegasus merely gulped heavily and not in a reassuring way.
Instantaneously the two fillies darted inside slamming the door shut behind them... A tumble weed randomly scuttled across the porch as the door suddenly cracked opened and out popped one of Apple Bloom's hooves quickly gripping the welcome mat she yanked it inside.
Scootaloo slowly trotted into the kitchen soon followed by Apple Bloom who quickly tossed aside the welcome mat she then noticed a few rose peddles remaining on Scootaloo's behind clinging to her damp fur. She blushed awing at how cute the little Pegasus appeared her heart fluttered at Scootaloo with her tail sticking up in the air and beautiful shiny red rose peddles covering her orangish booty. She almost didn't want to say anything.
"...Ha-hang on a second Scootaloo..." Apple Bloom stated with a light giggle causing Scootaloo to come to a quick halt she turned her head looking back to Apple Bloom seeing a strange look on her face. "Wh-what's the matter...?" She asked, Apple Bloom continued to chuckle innocently. "Y-you still got some rose peddles on yer butt... An-and it's so adorable!" Apple Bloom mused on and within a millisecond Scootaloo's face was tomato red as she swiftly moved her tail down covering herself.
"C-can y-you just whip them off pl-please..." Scootaloo mumbled in a grumpy embarrassed like tone. Apple Bloom slowly trotted up behind her gently lifting up her tail as she began brushing one of her hooves across Scootaloo's hindquarters whipping the rose peddles off sending them falling to the floor. "Ah-h! It's a shame you looked so cute too!" Apple Bloom stated the obvious in a squeakily squeal like voice. Scootaloo's body suddenly jerked in surprise to Apple Bloom brushing over her private parts causing the little pegasus to lose her breath. "Hey-hey c-careful back there!" The pegaus pleaded.
"Oops... S-sorry..." Apple Bloom muffled lowly fully realizing what she had accidentally touched her eyes distended seeing it she blushed vividly as she sluggishly pulled her hoof back while slowly lowering Scootaloo's tail. "Th-there a-all g-gone..." The earth pony mumbled as Scootaloo turned to face her seeing the look on her face was almost to embarrassing to bare. A question suddenly popped into Scootaloo's mind but she didn't even know how to ask it, she cleared her throat going to give it her best shot anyway. "Uhh... So d-did you... Umm... L-like wh-what you saw...?" Scootaloo stuttered in a very low unconfident tone of voice.
Almost immediately Apple Bloom looked away unable to respond as an image of Scoot's flank in all of its lustful glory flashed through her head causing her heart to skip quite a few beats she gulped heavily. A moment or two passed after not getting a response Scootaloo panned away regretting even asking. Apple Bloom without turning her head she looked over to her out of the corner of her eyes seeing the pegasus with a saddened look evident upon her face. She quickly shook her head scattering her dirty thoughts she stepped beside of Scootaloo. "Ah loved it!" Apple Bloom stated happily as she planted a gentle kiss onto Scootaloo's right cheek causing her face to brighten up mighty quick the little pegasus rapidly flapped her wings in utter joy. "Oh Scootaloo... Yer such a tease you!" Apple Bloom added causing Scoots to smile happily.
It had finally occurred to Apple Bloom after all of these flaunting distractions. She took notice as her eyes suddenly broadened wide she gazed upon the ruined kitchen gasping for air rather loudly. The table was a total mess with sticky cider dripping off the edge falling onto the floor. An entire chair was broken into pieces there was dirty dishes pots and pans everywhere. To top it all off there was a huge dark ominous stain where some pony had overused floor cleaner on the tiled floor. "Wha-what ha-happened here...?" Is all that Apple Bloom had to say in an astonishing amount of confusion she cautiously stepped forward toward the center of the kitchen she avoided the huge stain finding it very unsettling. Scootaloo simply remained silent...
Meanwhile up high above Ponyville. Princess Cadenza and Shining Armor very slowly descended toward the ground right in front of Twilight Sparkle's tree house thingy. The storm didn't seem to be letting up for them however as rain showered the town below fierce winds caused the balloon to shake. Shining continued to lean over the edge looking down upon Twilight's house seeing darkened windows a pit opened up in his stomach. "She's probably in the bed..." A tingle of fear ran down Cadenza's spin hearing him say that as she thought to herself. 'Yeah... But who else is in the bed with her... Oh this is killing me!'
Cadenza exhaled deeply it was hurting her having to lie to her new husband. However she desperately desired to protect her new sister from any harm she was at in impasse. "Oh what do I do?" Cadenza whispered sadly as she gazed up into the darkening sky knowing the truth about Twilight and having to conceal it from her lover to protect the filly she has known and cared for since she was in diapers. Shining looked back to Cadenza out of the corner of his eyes. "H-hey you okay?" Shining asked delicately as he moved beside of her pushing a few bags out of the way.
Shining gently rested a hoof upon Cadenza's back she turned her head looking into his eyes searching for comfort although it only seemed to cause her even more pain. "...B-baby... What if I told you something that you wouldn't like... Can you please promise me not to totally freak out..." Cadenza asked in a very distraught tone causing him to grow fraught with worry. "Honey you're scaring me what's wrong...?" Shining asked practically begging for an answer as he moved in closer toward Cadenza who simply placed a hoof onto his chest stopping him. 'I'm so sorry Twilight... I just can't lie anymore...'
Cadenza gulped heavily swallowing her self-respect. The air balloon had finally touched down galloping could be heard in the distance. Shining placed his hooves overtop of the one Cadenza placed on his chest as he took a short breath. "I promise!" Shining replied in a relaxed comforting tone despite that he was hiding his impatience well it was like an old clock ticking in his head he was on the verge of exploding. "Shining... Twilight, she has changed a lot over her years... She isn't a little filly anymore..." Cadenza muttered as an image of baby Twilight smiling happily flashed through her head. "She's... She is a grown mare... Who can make her own decisions..." Cadenza continued as the image slowly began fading.
A single tear slid down Cadenza's cheeks, if she had fingers they'd be crossed. She hoped that she wasn't making a huge mistake. Cadenza opened her mouth about to speak when all of a sudden Fluttershy and Rarity leaned up against the side of the air balloon. "Hello darlings we require your assistance Twilight and Rainbow ran off into this ferocious storm chasing after Applejack, would you two mind if we borrowed you air balloon to search for them." Rarity asked in a docile tone. Shining instantly turned facing the two mares with a fearful look on his face. "She's out... In this s-storm..." Shining mumbled his voice somewhat trembling in fear and right on queue lightning flashed brightly and thunder roared echoing throughout his mind. Cadenza raised a brow in curiosity. "Why is she and Rainbow chasing Applejack...?"
Shining's left eye twitched a few times before he fell back in the air balloon losing consciousness. Fluttershy taking a deep breath. "Oh well she Rainbow Dash and Applejack are in a relationship. It's like nothing I've ever seen before, three mares together... They all look so cute together..." Fluttershy blurted aloud. Cadenza's eyes suddenly broadened hoping Shining hadn't heard all that she quickly turned to face him only to see that he had luckily passed out. Rarity simply nodded in agreement. "Quite right they do look simply adorable together. What they're doing is bold, although something seems to have happened Applejack ran off in tears poor thing..."
Cadenza suddenly leaped out of the air balloon her horn glowed intensively as Shining Armor surrounded by her magic rose up out of the balloon. She trotted toward Twilight's home with her hubby hovering beside of her. "What are you doing, is he okay?" Fluttershy asked as her and Rarity quickly followed behind her. "I have to get him inside out of this storm and we can't take the air balloon either, it's far too dangerous." Cadenza stated as she reached for the door knob opening the door revealing total darkness within. They trotted inside Rarity's horn suddenly began glowing helping Cadenza illuminate the room. Rain dripped down from their coats of fur dampening the wooden floor beneath them.
Cadenza began gently lowering Shining toward the ground and suddenly it had finally occurred to her a look of utter fear consumed her face as her horn which glowed brightly faded. Fluttershy firmly closed the door behind them a very loud thud could be heard throughout the tree home. "Uhh... Wh-what was that s-sound?" The startled pegasus asked in a shaky voice. Rarity stepped next to Cadenza seeing the look of absolute terror on her face sent a chill down the unicorn's spin. "Are you alright what's going..." Cadenza had suddenly cut her off. "...On our descent down from Canterlot, I didn't see any pegasi in the sky at all... Usually we rely on the pegasi to create storms with rain clouds... However this storm it's different."
Rarity rubbed her chin pondering the matter her horn glowed slightly as her rain coat and hat levitated up off of her. "...Y-you're right I have noticed that this storm has been increasingly violent..." Fluttershy lighted a few candles around the room giving it an elegant yellowish glow. Cadenza placed a hoof on Shining's left cheek as he laid in the floor unconscious still. "I'm so sorry Shining I can't tell you the truth about Twilight not yet, I suppose I'll just have to lie to you a tad bit longer... Please... Forgive me..." Cadenza muttered. A singular tear slid down her face falling onto Shining's nose as she leaned down placing a tender loving kiss upon his lips. Rarity and Fluttershy smiled happily witnessing a love growing so strongly.
Suddenly Princess Cadenza eyes shot open wide in utter realization. "Wait a second... Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Twilight..." Cadenza stated frantically. Fluttershy and Rarity slowly backed away from the Princess. "I thought it was just Rainbow Dash and Twilight... I had no idea that all three of them..." Rarity raised a brow in absolute confusion. "Wait... So Rainbow Dash and... And Twilight... In my-my b-bathroom and that spot in the h-hallway..." Rarity mumbled as her eyes widened glowing bloody red with rage. 'I... I-I stepped in it...' Then quite suddenly a very loud and very angry scream echoed throughout Ponyville even the heavens marveled at the shockwave of sound.
Back to Carousel Boutique. Spike rested happily on Sweetie Belle's back. The fur on her back and running down her legs had a light color and a somewhat fowl smell. Although it didn't seem to bother her in the slightest she was happy even as long as Spike was. Sweetie Belle's hooves left prints of yellow down the hallway on Rarity's tiled floor she was sure to be upset. Sweetie Belle stopped in front of the bathroom door a faint sound could be heard within but neither of them payed it any mind as they looked back down the hallway seeing the small hoof prints. "I sure hope Rarity doesn't get too mad." Sweetie Belle whispered while chuckling softly.
Spike suddenly hoped off of her back he innocently twiddled his fingers while once more lowering his head in utter shame. "I'm s-so s-sorry that I..." Instantly the little filly stuck her hoof over top of Spike's mouth stopping him cold. "No Spike! This isn't your fault at all. You don't have to worry about it okay..." A look of wretchedness suddenly began appearing on Spike's face as he glared at Sweetie Belle's damp hoof covering his mouth the taste wasn't pleasant. He nodded understanding that he shouldn't beat himself up Sweetie Belle slowly lowered her hoof.
"Ugh..." Spike muffled as he rubbed his tongue off. Sweetie Belle turned carefully nudging her nose against the door pushing it open. Immediately both of the young ones eyes broadened in absolute fear as steam rushed out of the bathrooms smacking them in the face. "If she doesn't get mad about the pee she will this..." Spike muttered sadly as water began moving out of the bathroom in little waves forming a puddle underneath them.
