25. Jack – Bright
Jack's POV
I was bored to death that closing ceremony. How odd. Since I'm the winner I usually enjoy these events more than anything. I don't know why I feel tired… I'm so sick of those stupid reporters and their silly questions about me.
I'm the King of Riding duels and one day I will beat Yuusei reclaiming my old title once and for all. What can't they understand when I say that no one will get into my way to the top? Why do they keep asking me how I feel about the next rival, or what I'll say about my next challenger?
I sighed, gathering my will to give them hell and leave. Right now I want to be alone to let my head take a break from this crowd that keeps getting on my nerves.
"Tired huh?" a female voice reached my ears, making my eyes go wide.
Am I hearing correctly? Is this even possible?
I turned towards her, seeing her familiar face and her bright smile, lighting up the whole room.
"Carly!" I thought I heard myself exclaim.
