"Mother!" I called, gesturing her towards me. "This is the one, I just know it." I said, pointing to it.
Almost immediately my mother patted my back, "Great choice." She said.
"I... just don't know when to do this... I'm trying to think of the perfect time." I closed my eyes, trying to think of when and where would be the perfect place and day... Before the baby? After the baby? I would prefer marrying her before, but that's also up to Haruhi... but even if I propose it doesn't mean there is a specific day we have to get married, it's up to both Haruhi and I and nobody else. My mother taped my shoulder once more.
"Tamaki, you said Haruhi likes spring right? Why not when the cherry blossoms bloom?"

Tamaki's POV
It was later in the afternoon when we had finally made it home. Everyone was here except for my father who had told Haruhi and Ranka that he had to leave for an important meeting about next years new Ouran High School students. Well, I really just needed to talk with Ranka, so that was okay. "Hey Ranka," I said, walking over to him close enough to whisper into his ear. "I have something I need to talk with you about, it's very important." He tensed up before looking at me, his serious face worn. I gestured towards the garden which Ranka gladly accepted. I decided to wait to start the conversation until we were more in the middle of the garden.
"Ok Tamaki, are you planning to walk us to China to tell me whatever it is you need to tell me?" I chuckled and shook my head, stopping at the gazebo in the garden.
"Well... I went out with my mother this morning because I wanted her help." Ranka cocked his head to the side in confusion.
"Help?" I nodded.
"Yes. I wanted her help to buy Haruhi an engagement ring." Ranka's eyes went wide. It was the kind of expression that expressed both shock and irritation, so I wasn't sure which emotion he was feeling. I stood there, literally sweating bullets. Would he say no? Would he not allow me to marry his daughter? Though my inner conscious was asking these questions I knew he would probably not just say "no." His face suddenly became serious as he pointed his finger at me.
"You listen here, I'm saying I agree to this wedding, but if you ever hurt her or your child, I promise I will hurt you. Kill you even!" I nodded and bowed.
"Thank You! I'll never forget this. And I promise, I could never hurt her, she is the love of my life." Ranka nodded and patted my shoulder.
"Thanks... idiot." I chuckled and nodded. "Well, now that that's been taken care of, what is your idea for proposing?"
"Well..."
Two weeks later, Haruhi and I were walking, exploring the beautiful cherry blossom trees in bloom. The park we had originally gone to had been bustling so we settled for a more secluded secret garden of cherry blossom trees. The air was potent with the scent of flowers and freshly rained on grass, it was a nice and comforting smell. The walk was calming, but I knew that if I didn't propose soon, I was going to end up feeling guilty, not sure why, but it was just a feeling inside. I stopped, looking at the sun through the flowers and leaves, feeling like now was the perfect time and spot.
Haruhi noticed my cease in movement and walked towards me, looking me in the eyes while holding my hands in hers. "Tamaki? Baby? You alright?" I blushed, brighter than ever.
"I'm more than alright... I've been thinking." I expressed. I stopped, taking in a deep breath before continuing. I swallowed hard and looked at her with a smile. "I... have been thinking about us a lot lately. About the love we share. About the life we want together. About the joys we wish to have together. And about the sweet little child that we have created that is still in "processing mode." Haruhi laughed, snorting a little at that comment. "Haruhi... I need and want to know, would you take my hand in marriage and make me the happiest, luckiest, and most joyful man on this planet?" Haruhi's eyes widened, a tear about to make it's way to sliding down her cheek. I was worried for a moment until she jumped into my arms kissing me on the lips.
"You are the man of my dreams. Of course I will marry you Tamaki Suoh." I breathed out in relief that she had said yes. Happiness spread throughout my body like a forest fire, staining all of my heart with the love that only we could exchange to each other.
"Oh my gosh! This is so romantic!" Said Misaki Takahari, the female reporter for Hot News. They were a news team that often targeted the Suoh, Ootori, Hitachiin, Morinozuka, and Mitsukuni families.
"Shh! You don't want them to know we're here do you?!" Akito warned as they ran out of the bushes.
"Sorry, but this footage is too perfect! We have to use this for our top story tonight."
"Agreed!" Akito quietly cheered until they were inside of their camouflaged car. Once inside they sped off undetected by Tamaki or Haruhi.
We were now home again and the atmosphere was different. Happiness, joy, and laughter was floating in the sound waves. Slowly we walked to the kitchen, Haruhi's craving taking over, begging for food. Once in the kitchen, the cooks offered to make something for her, but she just dove into the fridge, making it herself. In the end she had made a pickle and peanut butter sandwich. I honestly had to look away, I don't know why my baby was craving that nastiness, but so long as he or she was getting what they were hungry for, I didn't mind.
When she finished I took her hand in mine and we made our way towards the living room. There we found my mother, my father, Ranka, Kyoya, Kaoru, Hikaru, Honey, and Mori sitting on the couches. On the screen of the tv, it was paused on the "Hot News" station. "Hey everyone, what's going on?" Haruhi asked, sitting next to me. The twins looked at us, a large smile on both of their faces.
"Take a look." Kyoya saying casually as he grabbed the remote control and pressed play. The beginning of this show had an introduction that was very upbeat and happy.
Hello! My name is Satsuki Takai and this is Hot News. Today we have many stories to tell, but one of them is so important that there is not use in holding it back. Well ladies, I'm sorry to say that Bunkyo's most eligible bachelor Tamaki Suoh, age 20, is now engaged! Earlier this afternoon some unnamed reporters taped the adorable couple as Mr. Suoh proposed.
In the video I watched as I stopped, looking at the sun through the flowers and leaves. Haruhi realized I stopped and walked back towards me, looking me in the eyes while holding my hands in hers. "Tamaki? Baby? You alright?" I blushed, brighter than ever.

"You are the man of my dreams. Of course I will marry you Tamaki Suoh." I breathed out in relief that she had said yes. Pulling her into my arms for a passionate hug.
After some research we found out that his fiance's name is Haruhi Fujioka, age 18. She and Mr. Suoh have reported been dating since the beginning of her first year and his second year. Not only is Mr. Suoh getting married, but he's also going to become a father. Word is she is around two months pregnant with his child. Congratulations to the happy couple from Hot News!
Haruhi and I looked at each other, shocked that the reporters had gotten close enough to us that they were able to get all of that footage. "Well, as long as we're happy, it's all that matters." I said quietly, hugging Haruhi to my body.

Hi everyone! Sorry about the super long wait! I've just been really busy and I've been in a little bit of a depressed mood, so I didn't want to write this until I was in a happier mood. I know this is a little short, but I promise that I will try to get the next chapter done as soon as possible. Thanks! Love you all!
