Gohan POV:

Gohan woke up on Sunday morning shocked and confused. For you see, he found a sleeping Videl in his arms, the two of them holding each other on Videl's couch. Gohan vaguely remembered the night before- the two watching TV and then falling asleep in each other's' arms. Gohan could feel the blush on his cheeks, and he was so glad that Videl wasn't awake at the moment in fear of embarrassment. Gohan carefully craned his neck around in attempt to see a clock. The grandfather clock by the stairs read 10:27. Wow! We slept in…hehe…I like the sound of that…we slept in...Oh who am I kidding?! She'd never like me! Although, she did dance with me on Halloween… But that's it! She'd never even consider me! Gohan mentally deduced as he remained on the couch.

Just as Gohan was about to begin his mental rant once again, he felt something- or someone- move in his arms. He looked down and saw Videl gripping Gohan's chest tighter, a smile clear on her face. Aww…She looks so peaceful…But it is getting a bit late. Maybe I should wake her up? Yeah…I have to get home soon and attempt to explain to my mother how 'sick' I was yesterday. Gohan slowly started to rub her back in an attempt to awaken her.

"Videl…Videl, come on it's time to wake up now." Gohan whispered in a sing-song voice. She struggled around, obviously not liking the sudden noise.

"Come on…Videl it's time to wake up…we have stuff to do today…" Gohan said softly, continuing to rub her back. She moved around a little more before her eyes fluttered open. She looked confused, and then she looked up at Gohan. Her eyes widened and she immediately let go of Gohan, and as a reaction she started to back up, which led to her falling off of the couch. She landed with a thud.

"Are you okay?" Gohan asked, peering down at her. She didn't answer, but instead jumped up onto her feet.

"Gohan?! What- How- When…" Videl asked incredulously, throwing her arms up in the air for exaggeration.

"Hey, shh, it's okay. We were watching TV and we fell asleep. No biggie- relax." Gohan said, getting up and pinning Videl's arms to her sides. Videl stayed silent and Gohan let go of her arms. She looked up at him and he smiled at her- a smile that she reciprocated.

"Now, it's 10:31. I have to go now, okay?" Gohan asked her, making sure she was going to be okay.

"Okay, Gohan. I'll be fine. I'll go make some breakfast or something- today's a pajama day, no crime fighting or anything." Videl said yawning. Gohan chuckled and he walked over to the back door- Videl following in tow. The two went outside and Gohan began to float.

"Bye, Videl." Gohan said slowly taking off.

"Bye, Gohan!" Videl yelled after him. Gohan smiled the whole way home.

The rest of the week went amazingly. With the miracle Videl worked on Chi Chi, Gohan got off scot-free- receiving only a warning to call her next time. Gohan trained with Goten, helping him get stronger. That was until, on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, Goten asked Gohan a question.

"Hey Gohan? When are you going to teach me how to fly?" Goten asked his brother, pausing their spar.

"Well…hmm…I don't know. Soon, maybe?" Gohan answered. He honestly didn't know when he was going to teach Goten how to fly.

"Can we do it now?" Goten asked, bringing out the puppy dog eyes.

"No, you want to be at your best when you first learn how to fly…how about tomorrow?" Gohan asked him. Goten nodded furiously. Hey…Videl's coming over tomorrow…and she asked me if I could teach her how to fly, too…Sweet! Killing two birds with one stone! Gohan thought to himself.

"Hey, Goten, how do you feel about having a training partner?" Gohan asked with curiosity.

"Who?" Goten wondered.

"Do you remember that girl, Videl?" Gohan asked Goten. Goten nodded. "Her. I told her I'd teach her how to fly about a month ago."

"That's okay. I liked her." Goten answered simply. Gohan laughed. Well that's good, I guess

The next day, Thanksgiving, Gohan woke up at 8 AM, only because his brother wanted food and Chi Chi refused to serve him without Gohan being up. An hour later, after Gohan had ate his food and showered, he put his purple gi on and walked up to his mom.

"Hey mom? I'm going to go and pick up Videl." Gohan told his mother.

"Why Gohan?" Chi Chi asked confused.

"Did I forget to tell you? When I was sick over there, we were talking, and she said her dad had left for the week on business. So then I asked her what she was doing for Thanksgiving, and she said she wasn't doing anything. I said that wasn't acceptable, and I invited her over for dinner, which she accepted." Gohan explained to his mother.

"Oh, well that's fine. But why are going to get her so early?" Chi Chi questioned.

"Because I'm also going to teach her how to fly. She asked me if I could te-" Gohan was cut off.

"She knows that you can fly?!" Chi Chi asked incredulously.

"Did I forget to tell you that, too? Wow…I've been forgetting a lot of stuff. Well…Mom…you see…Videl…she…she knows everything." Gohan said slowly.

"Define everything." Chi Chi said.

"Everything." Gohan said, looking her straight in the eye. Chi Chi was shocked to say the least.

"Ev-every-everything?!" Chi Chi stuttered. Gohan nodded. "But-but-but why?"

"Because I trust her." Gohan said truthfully. Chi Chi's mouth went slack, looking like an 'O'.

"Gohan…" Chi Chi finally said, standing up to hug her son. Gohan accepted the hug, although he didn't understand why she was acting this way. Chi Chi shed a few tears, but then she let go of Gohan saying, "Go. Go get that girl and teach her how to fly." Chi Chi wiped away her tears as Gohan flew into the skies, smiling to herself.

Gohan arrived at the Satan Mansion, 15 minutes later. He walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell. Gohan heard a few people scurrying over to the door. Uh- oh. What if she's not alone. What if Sharpener and Erasa are over? How am I going to get out of here Gohan worried as he waited. When the door opened, Videl, Erasa and Sharpener smiled at him.

"Hey, Gohan. What you doing over here?" Erasa asked him, eyeing Videl.

"Came over to pick up Videl for Thanksgiving, of course." Gohan replied, smiling.

"Oh, I thought Videl was coming over to my house for Thanksgiving." Erasa said, looking pointedly at Videl.

"Did I forget to tell you that? Gohan invited me over the other day he had that hangover." Videl said, looking sheepish.

"Well that's fine, just tell me next time…But Gohan, it's only like 9:30. Why so early?" Erasa asked him.

"Oh…because, I have a surprise for her." Gohan smirked.

"What type of surprise, Nerd Boy?" Sharpener asked, looking at Gohan oddly.

"Yeah, Gohan, what type of surprise?" Videl chorused.

"The best type of surprise…a fun one." Gohan said, smiling. Videl stepped up to Gohan asking him, with a soft glare, "What's the surprise?" Gohan leaned down a little, and whispered into Videl's ear, "Remember when you asked me how to fly?" Gohan backed away, and the look on Videl's face was priceless.

"No way." Videl said.

"Way. Now go get an extra set of clothes, if you would Ms. Satan, and our journey will commence." Gohan said jokingly. Videl bolted from the door, and up into her room to get some clothes.

Meanwhile, Gohan stood at the door waiting.

"What's the surprise, Gohan?" Sharpener asked.

"Sorry, pal, it's a secret." Gohan said, smiling.

"But you told her?!" Sharpener complained, throwing his arms into the air. Erasa laughed next to him.

"Sorry, Sharpener." Gohan laughed. At that moment, Videl came running up.

"Just lock up the house when you guys leave. Don't break anything." Videl told her friends as she and Gohan left. The two sort of walk-jogged until they couldn't be seen anymore. Then, Videl jumped into Gohan's arms and the two flew off to Gohan's house.

When they landed back at Gohan's house, Videl was giddy-which was something Gohan didn't see too often.

"Come on, let's go put your clothes somewhere." Gohan said, leading Videl into his house. Gohan saw his mom, cooking lunch- that was until she turned around.

"Hi, Gohan. Hello there, Videl." Chi Chi said welcomingly.

"Hi, Chi Chi." Videl said smiling.

"Say, mom, where's Goten?" Gohan asked.

"He's in the back. Have fun." Chi Chi said as she returned to her cooking.

"Thanks, Mom. Come on, Videl, let's put your extra clothes in my room, and then we'll get Goten." Gohan said leading her down the hall.

"Why do we need to get Goten?" Videl asked as they walked into Gohan's room. Gohan took Videl's clothes and set them on his bed. Gohan then turned around and the two walked out.

"We need to get Goten, because he is learning to fly today, as well." Gohan answered her as they walked outside. Goten was watching a butterfly, while sitting under a tree. He looked up when Gohan and Videl cast their shadows over his face.

"Gohan! Am I going to fly today?" Goten asked excitedly, standing up.

"Yes, and so is Videl." Gohan told him.

"Yay!" Goten shouted happily.

"But listen, Goten. It will take me a little longer with Videl, so you're going to have to be patient, okay?" Gohan told his little brother. Goten nodded, understanding that Videl was new to this stuff.

"Why is it going to take me longer?" Videl asked, confused.

"Because, Goten has been working with ki for a long time now. And, sadly, I can't use the same methods I used on him, to teach you- even though it would be so much quicker." Gohan said, sighing a little.

"Why can't you use the same methods you used on him?" Videl asked, a little annoyed.

"I threw him at a mountain and told him to blow it up. He did." Gohan said, laughing on the inside.

"You threw your little brother at a mountain?!" Videl yelled. Both Gohan and Goten started laughing.

"Yeah, and it was FUN!" Goten said, giggling.

"And I knew he'd survive it. After all, when I was only four, the same thing happened to me. I waited until Goten was six." Gohan explained, still laughing. Videl was shocked, but she then remembered that her friend was half alien. Once she remembered that, she loosened up a bit.

"Alright, let's get to work. Goten, do mind waiting an hour or two, while I teach Videl about ki?" Gohan asked.

"Sure. I'll go find Mr. Butterfly again." Goten said, running off into the other direction.

"Okay then. Let's get started." Gohan said sitting down.

An hour or so later, and Videl was about three quarters of the way there. She had to stop and go on occasion, because she kept aggravated and tense. She had Gohan quietly cheering her on, and correcting her mistakes.

"You're so close." Gohan said quietly. Videl breathed in and out, her eyes closed. And slowly but surely, a medium sized yellow ki orb appeared in her hands.

"That's great, Videl! And you did it so quickly! I suppose it's because of your extensive martial arts background, and well…you normally do pick up on things pretty quickly. Videl smiled, and then asked, "Now what?"

"Now you have to learn how to control it. Try moving it around with just one hand." Gohan told her. She slowly moved the ki ball into the palm of her right hand and slowly raised her hand up, and then back down. But, its power was fading. And eventually, it disappeared.

"Where'd it go?" Videl asked.

"You lost your concentration on it, so it died down. But don't worry, that was very good for a first try." Gohan told her. Videl smiled. Just as Gohan was about to say something else, Chi Chi came out from the house.

"Lunch time! Get it while it's hot!" Chi Chi yelled. Goten came running out of the woods at the sound of those words.

"Come on, it's break time." Gohan said, standing up, offering Videl a hand. Videl accepted it, and they walked back towards Gohan's house.

Good? Bad? I'll admit, not one of my best chapters, but I need Videl to know how to fly already, it was like a nagging thing in the back of my mind. REVIEW! VOTE IN MY POLL! New chapter in a few days, maybe Monday/ Tuesday.
