Hello everyone! Thanks to everyone who kept with this story since May 2013. Can't believe it's been that long! This chapter will take place in the future, 2017. Italics will be in the past, flashbacks or memories per se. Enjoy!
The cold office was silent. A few noises made from the pen of the woman sitting across from her, writing down on a large notepad. Ziva tapped her foot impatiently on the tiled floor, looking constantly at her phone for the time.
"When did you start to notice a change?" The woman across from her at the desk looked up, over her eye glasses.
"Excuse me?" Ziva asked, annoyance in her voice.
"When did you first start to notice a change with everything?" The woman asked again.
"I didn't. We had just gotten married, everything was fine, more than that even. Flash-forward four years and we were happy…"
"Dad! Are you listening? You aren't listening!" The brunette little boy almost four years old whined and squeaked, the TV remote in one hand.
"I'm listening, buddy! You said the Michael Keaton Batman was going to be on tonight!" Tony replied, smiling at the screen.
"Yeah! Will you be home tonight?" The little boy, features alike Tony looked down sadly at the phone.
"I'll try…" Tony looked at his watch and back at the screen, "Either way, your mommy needs more education on the original batman. She still refers to the cartoon," He joked.
"Isabella!" Tony heard his wife's yell in the background before the screen went upside down and turned a faint pink. "Isabella Marie Rivka Dinozzo! You do not slobber all over Mommy's phone!" He chuckled.
"I am sorry, Tony." His wife appeared on screen, wiping off the spit that his daughter projected onto the screen with the hem of her shirt. The skin of her waist and lace from her panties showing, allowing him to stare freely at her. "Stop googling," She smirked, returning the phone to her daughter.
"I would like to search your engine right now, Zee-vah" Her husband smirked back and she gave him a look warning him "not in front of the kids." Tony kept talking however, "Bella! Daddy misses you too. I leave for the airport in the next hour."
"Let us give your father time to get his things together, yes?" Ziva smiled, lifting Bella into her lap. "Come on, Ty…" She called out to her son who then proceeded to crawl into her lap.
"Alright. I'll see you two kiddo's in the morning cause you'll be sleeping when I'll get home. I love you all, so much." He blew a kiss towards the screen of the phone.
He could hear giggling on the other end before the screen turned horizontal to show Ziva on the couch, both children on her lap, smiles ear to ear. They all three blew kisses in between laughs and Ziva shut off the Facetime app. Tony felt warmth in his chest, his heart heavy. He finally had the family he dreamed of having since Marie Dinozzo passed away.
The woman looked over her glasses with a stern look, "Did Mr. Dinozzo return home that night?"
Ziva sighed, "Yes, he returned home later that night. I was sleeping…"
A faint breath whisked across the skin of her neck, a giggle slipping from her dry lips once goose bumps formed on her skin and lips caressed down to the crook of her neck.
"Tony…" Ziva groaned out, a smirk playing across her features. She angled her neck to the left of her, sinking into her pillow more and otherwise, give him better access to where he was committing his assault on her.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty." His voice was muffled by her skin. He brought his arm around to hold her waist, bare skin creeping out of the pajamas she wore.
Ziva threw her head up, looking at the clock over his shoulder. The sudden pout on her face made him chuckle, "It is three o'clock in the morning, Dinozzo. Are you just getting home?"
"Flight was delayed. God, I'm so happy to see you, baby." Tucking his head back into the crook of her neck, he placed sloppy kisses along her skin.
Ziva moaned, his hand traveling slowly down her leg and brushing against her thigh, "Dinozzo, I am going to murder yo-" Her joking threat was interrupted by another moan when he flipped her over, their hips colliding.
Tony kissed her forehead then nose, working his way down to her lips. "I can't keep staying months away from you guys," He kissed her breathlessly.
"I have missed you so much. So have they," She sighed, looking up into her husband's hazel eyes.
He dropped another kiss onto her lips, pulling her pajama top off slowly. She shivered, the coolness of the air hitting her breasts, causing them to harden. Tony smirked, before looking back into her absorbing chocolate pools.
"No matter what," He started, "This always stays the same. You and me. Nothing ever changes."
Ziva brought her palm up to his cheek, brushing her thumb over his chin. "Always."
"Till death do us part," Leaning his head down, he joined their lips back together as she worked on the buttons of his shirt.
"Was that the last time you and your husband had sexual intercourse?" The woman asked, writing notes profusely into the notepad.
Ziva scoffed, "That is quite a personal question, is it not?"
"Well, in order to get a better understanding of everything that happened, I need to know."
"You do not need to know any of that," The tension grew visibly in Ziva's shoulders.
"I'm going to take that as a yes, by the way your body language is giving your answer away," The woman replied.
Ziva rolled her eyes, "I do not like talking about personal things. What happens- has happened to my body is a personal matter." Her arms crossed over her chest in a protective stance.
"I can see you're not going to cooperate today. We'll call this session done for the day?" Ziva nodded when the woman spoke.
"Gladly." Picking up her purse and phone, Ziva quickly walked out of the door and finally out of the building she presumed as hell all over again.
