Something was touching my shoulder but I was so lost in my dream that I barely felt it. Seth was really hyped up yesterday after the whole Cullen family went to the ice skating rink in Central Park. I suspected that Emmett had probably given him more ice cream when after Edward and I said no. Seth was really excited to go back to forks tomorrow, or was that today? I couldn't tell.

All I could tell was that there was something make my shoulder tingle and now my back to the other should. I felt myself groan in response. The tiredness fighting with the tingling feeling. I felt a finger slowly caress my right side and go lower and lower. My eyes shot open and I saw Edward smiling on his side caressing me. I smiled back at him unable to stop. Edward flipped me over and started ravishing my mouth.

I didn't even have time to think about my morning breath because the way Edward's tongue felt against mine was like no other. I felt the tingle in my mouth travel all over my body as Edward flipped me over and held his weight above me. I didn't like that because I want to be able to feel all of him, every last piece.

Edward skimmed his hand down my front and quickly thrust a finger into me leaving me breathless. I moaned but Edward silenced it with his mouth. I felt his tongue thrust into my mouth just as his finger did. First he added one finger teasing me, circling me, but it never did take long for me to become wet especially with Edward above me like he was going to devour me.

Edward used his other hand to pinch my nipple between his fingers and I felt the coil in my belly really start to throb. It was like a shock to myself as Edward moved down to my breast taking it in his mouth. It felt so good I couldn't help but moan at the feeling.

"Because something's wrong." I observed and he sighed laying on his pillow face up.

"Tell me." I said leaning towards him.

"I'm just nervous about later." he said shrugging.

"You've met my Dad and it's just New Year's Eve. Charlie already knows we're engaged and he's happy for us. Sue will be too." I said turning his face to look at me. Edward didn't say anything else just traced some imagined design on my hand. I knew that sometimes it was better to let Edward talk to me in his own time.

"You had a whole life there...with other people." he said choosing his words carefully but I knew what he was referring to.

"Jacob was in my life but he's gone now, he doesn't mean anything to me." I said and he nodded.

"History is history though." he sighed.

"I guess but why does it matter if it's not meaningful." I pointed out to him and he smirked. "I love you Edward, I wouldn't want to marry you if that wasn't the case." I pointed out to him as a reminder.

"It's not that I just don't like that he had you at all. Don't get me wrong I love Seth but Jacob... He's an ass." he huffed.

"I agree with you there. Last I heard Leah and Jacob were going to Las Vegas for New YEars so they won't even be at the party and it's also in celebration of my Dad's 30th year on the force so. I have to go but you don't." I said though I knew I really wanted him with me.

"No, of course I'll be there. It's irrational I know." he sighed.

"I love you." I said pecking him.

"I love you." he said simply and I knew I would never get tired of hearing that. I slipped on a robe and made it to the bathroom. I was turning on the shower just as I felt him come up behind me.

"We should shower together to conserve water." Edward said leaning against the wall.

"Oh should we?" I asked licking my lips as I looked at him. Edward just nodded before picking me up. Round 2 was even better than Round 1.

There weren't many decorations up as was Fork's custom since not many people lived here and it wasn't a big city like Seattle. My hand resting in Edward's on the top of the middle console. I looked in the mirror to see Seth still sleeping. Riding 1st class was something out of a dream. Seth went to sleep easily instead of being cranky like he did on our plane to New York.

"Are you okay?" I asked squeezing Edward's hand and he turned and smiled at me.

"I'm the luckiest man in the world of course I am." he said simply.

"That would make me the luckiest woman in the world." I answered him and he glanced at me before bringing my hand up to his mouth and placing a kiss. It was still odd seeing the diamond ring on my hand, watching it gleam under the upcoming sun.

"I love you." I said and he just smiled this time and nodded quiet in his thoughts. I thought I had made him feel better but probably not. I could understand, if he had a connection with someone like the one I had with Seth I would probably be a bit...that's the thing I wasn't sure what he was. Edward seemed almost unsure which was unthinkable to her. There was no question when it came to her love for Edward because she didn't even know what love was until she met him.

"I use to come out here a lot." I mentioned as we drove by a small park. "I used to go there a lot because Charlie was working and you know my mother. I didn't have many friends except Angela and Jacob." at the mention of Jacob, Edward squeezed my hand. But I continued. "Even then I felt like I was alone like there was no one who cared about me. Now I feel so loved every day that I can only hope to give you even a fraction of what you gave me Edward." I felt the car slowly pull over to the side of the road.

Edward wiped the small tears that had fallen down my face and just stared at me so softly it was hard to stop from crying more.

"I love you so much Bella. I….I'll spend the rest of my life showing you how much." Edward said before kissing me with so much love I thought I would burst. Edward smirked pulling back knowing exactly what he was doing to me before he started the car again.

It wasn't long before we ended up at Charlie's and I knew he was disappointed that Seth and I weren't staying with him but we need our own space so Edward reserved a room in the only motel in the area. Of course he had to get the biggest one that we didn't need. When I told Charlie this he just muttered something before talking about how excited he was I was coming home.

As we parked Charlie was out the door and opening the door to Seth. Charlie was very upset to see Seth was sleeping and he rubbed against the seat sleeping. Charlie pouted and tried picking him up but Seth squirmed away.

"Daddy." Seth said quietly squirming away from Charlie. Charlie looked at me in surprise and I just shrugged. Edward just moved past Charlie and picked Seth up who snuggled into him.

"Grandpa here's." Edward whispered to him.

"Grandpa C?" Seth moved his face trying to look.

"No we're in Forks remember?" Edward laughed.

"Grandpa Charlie!" Seth giggled turning towards Charlie and reaching towards him. Charlie then smiled the only smile that Seth could get from him. Edward rubbed his back before taking out presents that we brought for him and Sue.

"Hello, hello." Sue said coming out of the house. Sue immediately dragged me into a hug and dragged me into the house dishing about the decorations they made. We spent most of the time talking about that and I was catching them up on what work was like.

"You could stay here." Charlie said as we were leaving.

"We'll be here for New Year's dinner tomorrow." I said about to pick Seth up but as of lately Edward beat me to it and snuggled him before walking to the car. I would never tired of seeing him with Seth but also for all the help. It took my breath away every time.

"You have a good one." Sue said almost whispering but Charlie heard her and said nothing which was how he agreed with something.

"I know." I smiled walking out. "See you tomorrow." I waved getting in the car. Edward waved and we made our way to the hotel.

"It's almost midnight." I said as Edward put Seth down in the adjoining room. Edward smiled at me almost prowling towards me. I fell back on the bed.

"We better make this quick then." Edward said licking his lips then he pounced at me making me laugh until I felt him kiss me neck and then my laughter turned into moans as Edward moved his hands down towards the apex of my thighs rubbing me until I was thrashing on the bed begging him for release. Edward was right, it was quick. Edward slammed into me until I was coming around him and so hard I thought I saw stars. Edward released into me and then collapsed next to me.

We laid there for what could have been two minutes or five but we laid there catching out breath before Edward rolled me into him resting his head on the top of mine. Then there was a moment of silence as we just basked in the love we had. Which sounds corny I know but it was one of the best feelings in the world besides when Edward says

"I love you." He said nuzzling me. Besides when Edward says that.

"I love you too." I said kissing him and I looked up at the clock and Edward turned his head seeing how close midnight was coming. Edward rolled until I was on top of him and we just looked at each other until he kiss me. I was in such a blissed out state I didn't notice anything until Edward leaned close to me and whispered.

"Happy New Year my love."

"Happy New Year." I said kissing him just as he thrust into me at the same time. And we brought in the New Year in the best possible way.

The next day I helped Sue in the kitchen as Edward and Charlie discussed various basketball teams that I had no idea about. Sue and I talked about Seth and she asked me various questions about Edward's family.

"I'm glad you're happy and that you have others to call family but never forget we love you too." Sue said. "And Seth of course." She said hugging me and I hugged her before bringing food to the table. I found Seth sitting in Edward's lap sleeping.

"Dinner's ready." I said and Edward picked him up walking towards the dining room but I stopped him.

"Why don't you put him down in my old room, he's still jet lagged." I said brushing his hair with my hand. I brushed over Edward's lips as well and he placed a kiss on my palm before heading upstairs.

"You've got a good one Bells." Charlie said as Edward disappeared.

"I know Dad." I smiled.

"Has Sue figured it out?" Charlie said looking at my ring.

"Not yet." I giggled. "It was your idea to surprise her."

"We had a bet how long it would take after you came to visit me in the hospital…I won." He chuckled before kissing my forehead and walking to the dining room.

I looked around the house that I had known my whole life. It seemed foreign to me. It was unlike the penthouse that we had with Edward and it was unlike Carlisle and Esme's house. There was a certain amount of family present in each one. There were some photos here but not nearly the same as the other places. The small time I'd spent at Alice and Jasper's condo and Emmett and Rosalie's brownstone I realized they loved family. I felt like family no matter where I was with them. As I looked at Edward walking down the stairs I realized why that was.

"Hi." He smiled taking my hand.

"Hi." I replied squeezing his hand before we sat down. Edward held out my chair for me and I sat down smiling at him.

"This looks amazing Sue." Edward smiled.

"Aw thank you. Such the charmer." Sue winked at me and Charlie rolled his eyes.

"How's Seth liking daycare?" Charlie asked.

"It's a wonderful place, they have multiple early learning programs so Seth now points out colors, numbers, and letters. He's going to be the most prepared kindergartener."

"Where's he—" Charlie was interrupted by the doorbell. I looked over in confusion.

"Are you expecting someone?" Charlie asked Sue and she shook her head looking in confusion like me.

"Someone from the station?" Sue offered and Charlie nodded and walked over to the door. The door opened and we heard muffled voices.

"Tell me more about what your company does." Sue asked and I rubbed Edward's back as he caught my hand on his shoulder kissing it before rubbing my hand.

"Well there are many aspects but—" he stopped as we heard Charlie's footsteps coming back. Edward stopped rubbing my hand as Jacob and Leah came into view. I squeezed his hand and he held my hand tighter.

"Leah." Sue smiled. "I thought you two were out of town." Sue said hugging her daughter. Jacob smiled at Sue but she just turned around and sat down.

"I didn't know you had company." Leah said and she looked at me. "Hi Bella. Edward nice to see you again."

"Hi Leah." I beamed.

"Leah, it's nice to see you as well." Edward smiled and I couldn't help but to see blush come across her face. Jacob pursed his lips looking at Edward but Edward was looking at me and I leaned in and kiss his cheek. Edward smiled at me with a devilish smirk on his face and as I pulled back he captured my lips and kissed me deep making my toes tingle.

"Dinner and a show." Sue chuckled and I pulled back blushing narrowing my eyes at Edward who sat back with an innocent expression holding my hand.

"We can go…" Leah said biting her lip. Sue and Charlie looked at me and I snorted.

"No please stay we made more than enough." I said and Leah sat down and Jacob stood there for a second longer looking around before sitting down next to Leah across from me. There was an awkward silence until Leah spoke up.

"Where's Seth?" Leah asked getting food. Jacob didn't touch anything but looked at me when Leah asked.

"He's upstairs sleeping, I think he's still jetlagged." I laughed. "Remember what he said on the plane?" I asked looking at Edward.

"Planes! I love sleep…I mean planes." Edward chuckled with the memory.

"Must be cramped with Seth." Leah commented.

"It was nice, we could walk around but I slept through most of it to be honest." I laughed.

"Seth and I played candy land at least twenty time." Edward chuckled.

"How'd you manage that? Weren't the other customers upset?" Leah asked.

"I have a private jet there was no need." Edward nodded before start to eat. Leah just blinked in surprise at him. I looked over to Charlie who was smirking, as I looked back it was hard to ignore Jacob just staring at me. Leah seemed to notice to before I heard something hit under the table and Jacob started putting food on his plate.

"You know Edward I heard your company on the news yesterday." Charlie said. Edward looked over in surprise and nodded.

"Recently we made an important acquisition in nanotechnology. We're very hopeful for next generation technology for hospitals in all places over the globe." He said happily. I smiled proudly of him.

"I bet that cost you a pretty penny." Charlie whistled. Edward frowned and then shrugged his shoulders.

"I guess but that's business." Edward replied.

"I saw it changed your net worth too." Charlie said. Edward looked at him in confusion but as I saw Charlie take a quick glance at Jacob I couldn't help but laugh.

"Yes Edward is worth a lot so don't go threatening him." I said placing my hand back on his shoulder. Edward brought up my hand and kissed it before putting it back.

"How much?" Charlie asked.

"Dad." I groaned.

"It can't be too much right?" Sue said smiling at me. "handsome, smart, charming, and rich?! It's too good to be true."

"I wouldn't say that." Edward winked at her and Leah and Sue started laughing. "But I'm worth roughly around 500 billion." Edward shrugged and continued to eat but everyone just stopped. I looked at him in shock.

"Are you serious?" I asked after a second. Edward looked up and stopped eating.

"What?" he asked.

"That's…um…a lot." I said.

"Well then…" Charlie said before eating and slowly everyone one else started. I didn't notice Edward as he leaned in towards my ear until he was whispering.

"What's mine is yours. So you also are rich." Edward said and I jumped in surprise spilling over my water. Edward pulled away laughing.

"Not nice mister." I pointed at him and Sue got up and helped me clean up. I was just about done with Sue screamed. I looked up scared wondering why she was screaming until I saw her zeroed in on my left ring finger.

"Mom, mom what's wrong?" Leah asked standing up. Sue started jumping up and down.

"You're engaged?!" Sue screeched excitedly.

"What?" Leah and Jacob exclaimed at the same time. Charlie chuckled and Sue shot him a look.

"Oh you knew?! You won the bet?! Oh I can't care I'm so happy for you." She said taking my hand in hers. Her and Leah looked at the ring together.

"That's huge!" Leah smiled. "It's beautiful congrats you guys."

"Thank you." I smiled looking at Edward who was relaxing in his seat with his arm slung around my chair.

"Bella can I talk to you for a second?" Jacob asked standing up. I looked at him as a silence came across the dining room. I saw Edward clench his fist together and I placed my hand on his thigh trying to pacify him.

"Sure." I said getting up. I kissed Edward's cheek before following him into the small foyer. I sighed crossing my arms in front of me ready for whatever he was going to say. There was a certain sadness in seeing him angry because he was my friend and also because I didn't deserve that from my once called best friend.

"So you're marrying him?" Jacob asked.

"Yes, and I'd ask you to be happy for me but I don't see that happening." I sighed.

"You've known him for all of ten minutes Bella." Jacob said sternly. "You don't know him."

I thought honestly about what he said just so I can say I did. I knew his favorite soda, I knew his favorite movies, his fears, his hopes, his favorite childhood stories, his family, and most importantly I knew his heart.

"I know him better than I know myself." I said honestly.

"It's too soon." Jacob said. "I'm just worried about you." He said and I could almost believe him if he wasn't coming closer to me with every sentence.

"I love him more than anything, more than I loved anyone, and more than I ever will." I said and Jacob took a step back like he was slapped.

"So what we had was nothing." Jacob said angrily. I shook my head.

"It's just nothing in comparison." I said and I bit my lip as I saw the hurt and shock cross his face. Jacob turned away for a moment and then turned back.

"And what about Seth?" he asked a new look I couldn't identify coming across his face.

"What about him?" I asked.

"So I'm just supposed to trust that this guy that you've known for a minute with my son?" Jacob asked in a scathing way.

"Excuse me? Since when is Seth your son?" I asked feeling my stomach twist with anger.

"Since always, he's my kid and you think it's okay for him to what? Take over as his father?"

"You know nothing about Seth, he's my son not yours. You gave up all rights." I said trying to process.

"And I can get them back. You know what they say about Edward Cullen that's a ruthless business man, he's had many female "friends" never settled down. You think a judge would grant you custody with the likes of the former playboy? I think not." Jacob said.

"Are you threating to take my son away from me?!" I yelled unable to contain the rage I was feeling.

"He's not safe with you!" Jacob yelled back. I saw red and lunged at him but I felt cool, calm hands wrap around my waist holding me to him but I couldn't stop the anger as I reached for Jacob to hurt him.

"Get out." Edward said behind me in a scary calm voice.

"This isn't your house." Jacob glared at him.

"But it is mine so get out." Charlie said coming out of the room. Jacob just glared at Edward before leaving calling Leah's name. Leah sighed looking like she was going to say something to me before following him out. I felt tears come down my face.

"Shh." Edward said rubbing my back.

"I can't lose him." I said crying.

"We won't." Edward said. "It's impossible, Jacob is fighting a battle that's already lost." He said reassuringly and even though I knew that. Even though I knew there was no way Jacob was going to take Seth, just the idea was enough to bring me to the floor sobbing with Edward cradling me whispering reassuring words.
