The room turned bitter cold the as S-Class monster's exchanged venomously like glances of their uninvited guests.
Moka had on her signature death glare like in any other fight this time however after watching Tsukune be stabbed for no reason what so ever, she had wished that her glare could've actually killed their opposition.
Ginei stood next to her large and bulky as a werewolf would be, his face angered with a deep fury that he wished to unleash on his enemies. Tsukune was a great friend, and he knew if something like that had happened to him, Tsukune wouldn't hesitate but to stand up towards his aggressors.
Yuki with the blood of Tsukune right on her hands, she didn't care at all about him. To her he was just a item in this whole conflict, an item that had no value nor no purpose to anyone but his harem. (A/N And Ginei :P)
As the eye contact went on eternally, Moka stepped up towards the enraged Yuki-Onna.
"You're quite unstable, Yuki. But hurting someone who really had no need to be harmed at any cause, makes you someone I can never forgive."
"Who said I wanted to be forgiven?" Yuki responded in a tone of malice. "I don't want your words of compromise, it's chump change at this point."
"It's better than having to waste my time and resolve these petty arguments of you and your past that Mizore had nothing to do with." Moka answered irritated. "Why can't you just give up and move on with your life while you have the chance? Instead of forcing me to end your reign of unnecessary terror."
"U-Unnecessary terror?" She stammered, choking on the anger that she held deep inside. "Unnecessary!? You still won't understand will you!" Her hand's instantly balled into to below zero temperature weapons of destruction. "None of you...none of you will understand what it's been like to be alone all your life. Being betrayed, ignored and blamedfor crimes you hadn't committed. But now...now I'll show you how it feels to have it all pile up into one emotion!"
A flash of white blinded everyone in the room, as Yuki went into transformation of her Yuki-Onna state. This transformation she had however was no where near the looks of how Mizore would transform.
The white light had went on continuously, before meeting it's end.
Tsukune's room once Yuki had transformed turned into a small version of the Land of the Yuki-Onna. Snow and ice everywhere reaching the negatives. Though this didn't cause Moka nor Ginei to have higher expectations of how hard it would be to defeat their enemies.
The room now in bliss with nothing but the wind, Yuki came front and center towards Moka and Ginei. Her appearance remained the same, with only her eye's in a devilish midnight purple color. She gave another one of her signature grins, gawking at her competition. Then to only giggle and turn into the laughter of a twisted physco beyond repair.
"What's so funny?" Moka dared to question.
"What's funny?" Her voice hissed like a snake anticipating for it's prey to die. "I can't help but to laugh knowing that you two actually made me come out in this form, you really want to experience death that badly huh?"
Moka smirked. "I've been helping to wonder why you've been holding back this whole time, really that scared your gonna loose? No wonder you tried those lesser distractions back there, all because you knew even if you had planned this out thoughtfully, you'd still lose."
Yuki's clenched her teeth. "As if i'd lose to the likes of you. Bring it you S-Class piece of trash!"
"I'd be willing too!" Moka darted straight at Yuki getting ready to bring a heavy kick right at her...
"Yuki!" Kenji ran in front of Yuki with a loud screech out at, Moka causing her ears to feel as if a needle went through. "What are you doing!? This isn't what we..."
"FUCK OFF!" She slapped him with enough force to bring down the whole house.
"Kenji!" Akido chased jumping from the window to his fallen comrade.
Moka uncovered her ear's and glanced at Ginei. "Gin, take care of those two. I'll take care of her."
The werewolf nodded jumping from the room, leaving the two for a battle of bitter upheavals.
"Tsukune! Tsukune!" The panicked yells of Kurumu from the alley had went on indefinitely. "Come on! Wake up for me like you did a couple days ago! Just don't die!"
Mizore watched utterly as Kurumu cried over knocked out Tsukune, she wanted to join and cry with Kurumu, but that wouldn't solve jack. She knew crying wasn't going to problem solve everything they've been through, it was time she had taken matters her way.
"Kurumu." Mizore called.
Kurumu's eyes slowly shifted to the yuki-onna in response, knowing her tears would cause her to choke in conversation.
"Keep Tsukune here, I'll be right back."
"B-But..." Kurumu scrambled to regain her voice. "T-Tsukune needs...you."
Mizore's eyes went sharp and alert hearing something Kurumu would rarely ever say.
"He's your husband..." She sniffed. "You need to take care of him."
All these event's caused by Yuki had a effect on drastic effect on Kurumu, Mizore now knew that she had cared for both Tsukune and her even if they had foughten countless times over who gets him. It was something that Mizore had wanted to hear, yet at the same time not have it forced out of her mouth.
This gave Mizore more rage through her icy veins.
"I mean it, watch over him." She flashed out of the scene leaving Kurumu to a unconscious Tsukune in need of major medical attention.
She gazed up at the night sky, spotting Mizore fly up from a far.
"Please." She whispered under her breath.
"Make them pay...for Tsukune."
Akido poked the limp Kenji as he fainted on the ground.
"Kenji, hello? Naptime is over gramps." Poking him endlessly with a stick, to be alarmed rapidly by his opponent from behind.
"Hope I'm not interrupting." Ginei's hoarse voice boomed. "You haven't forgot that you were just about to start fighting someone."
"The hell would make you think that?"
Ginei just eyed him and turned to the moon colorful moon above him. "Such a beautiful night, wouldn't you say?"
"What ever you say, pops." He answered. "Just cause gramps here is dead, doesn't mean shit. So if you were thinking this was an automatic win, your wrong by all means!"
Akido did a backflip into the silouette of the sky, performing his monster transformation. From what Ginei could make out from the light of the moon, Akido hatched wings out from his back, fur growing out all around his body except for his face and talons growing out from his feet and nails.
Flying in the air he gave a chuckle out of cockiness. "Weren't expecting on going against a male harpy were you?" His eye's had a sharp dark look of violence while eying the empty space below. "W-What?"
"Hey keep your eyes on me won't ya?" Ginei came from behind striking Akido straight in the back.
"Ah! You lucky bitch!" He grunted. "Bet that'll be your only clear shot for the rest of this fight!" Akido darted straight to Ginei backing his arm up for a deadly surprise. As the descending Akido came within a second from cutting Ginei into a sandwich, he moved straight to the side swiftly dodging his attack.
Ginei turned behind him to see a large dust cloud saying to him that he had made direct contact with the ground. Though, it wasn't true when he noticed a empty space after the dust had left the area. Ginei in an instant angled to his rear, feeling a sharp claw pierce through his chest.
"Haha!" Akido laughed after his successful strategy had worked. "You looked a bit paranoid, turning back and forth to that cloud and now to me. Scared you gonna lose?" He closed his eyes laughing away in a cocky manner.
"Now lets..." The harpy's laughter stopped when noticing Giei had vanished from the scene. "Huh...? Where'd he..."
"AH!" His voice screamed when Ginei had jumped on top of his shoulder, covering Akido's eyes. "G-Get off of me!"
Ginei wouldn't, he kept the harpy's eyes shut from seeing the world around him. The werewolf then lifted the heel of his foot away from Akido's shoulder and gave off a heavy blow to the ribs. The harpy tried to descend his flight, having now broken ribs with blood being spat out from his mouth like lava from a volcano.
"W-What part of get off don't you...!"
Just then, the harpy felt a pain to severe to even put in words. While he had struggled in flight, trying to remove the werewolf from his shoulders, Ginei had ripped a wing off from his upper arm, causing an immediate crash landing.
Ginei jumped from the young harpy's shoulder and onto the ground, where his opponent had seemed dead from distance. He moved towards the site of the harpy's downfall.
"Agh...! You bastard!" Akido called bleeding from head to toe. "You, you...!" Before his final words could resume, a shard of ice in the shape of a spear impaled the harpy's skull.
Ginei glared up at the direction of where it had come from, he had gotten the impression it was from Yuki and Moka's battle but he was wrong.
"Mizore?"
The snow mistress didn't comply, she faced Ginei for a moment hence instantly, she was gone.
Ginei gave a quick glance back at his decapitated opponent, and headed towards the main battle of bitter upheavals.
Moka dodged blow after blow as the Yuki-onna showed no mercy, hesitation or psyche through her eyes. It was clear what her true intentions was, it wasn't to reunite Mizore with her it was to kill everyone in her path.
Everyone, including Mizore.
"Why wont you...!" Yuki kept pummeling punch after punch, not even showing one piece of exhaustion. "JUST DIE ALREADY!"
The last punch Yuki had holed up in her was something specially made for Moka, and she could tell.
When Yuki had thrown that punch, Moka's block continued to stand guard but the last punch Yuki had caused it to fail, resulting in a fallen Moka.
"S-Shit..." Moka rose from the ground holding her arm, Yuki came forward and laughed in front of her.
"Are you okay Ms. S-Class monster? Do you need any help!" Kneeing Moka in the gut, with a response of blood coming from the vampire's mouth. "C'mon Moka, your a vampire!" She elbowed her in the back. "Your supposed to be..."
"Enough!" A cold yet bitter sweet voice was heard as it came from above.
"Hmph." Yuki scoffed. "Now I have two idiots to kill." She sighed shaking her head.
"Yuki, you wanted to fight me. Not her, so leave Moka alone!"
"Oh really now?" Yuki gave a unique grin filled with insanity. "I can play with Moka whenever I want, isn't that..."
Moka was instantly out of Yuki's sight. "Huh? We were just having some fun. Now I have to make my own fun with you now, Mizore."
"Just like old times?"
Mizore kept silent.
"Then i guess you do want to have fun, Right? Let's go!"
The two flew straight up in the air, gaining the attention of Kurumu tending to a wounded Tsukune. She watched the two clash together for seconds now minutes as ice spear after ice spear was thrown, as well as powerful punches and kicks.
Each time one of them would get off guard, they'd yell aloud in pain while the other would beat them senseless in their current state.
It kept on going repetitively is it were a broken record.
However, Kurumu noticed swiftly that Mizore couldn't keep up the pace Yuki was going. Everytime Yuki would rush in a kick or punch towards her Mizore would have a slight delay, causing a reckless evasion.
"If frosty keeps at this pace, she's destined to be beat."
Kurumu knew she had to get into the fight, even if Mizore had told her to scram. She couldn't carry the burden alone needless to say she was in danger of being killed in action. But that wasn't the only thing that held her back.
She stared at Tsukune, now looking as if some life had returned to him, he groaned weakly.
"Tsukune?"
"K-Kurumu..." His voice sounded weak as he moved his hand towards the open wound on his abdomen.
"Where's Mizore?"
"She's...she had to do something urgent." Kurumu turned back to the battle, watching as this time Mizore finally had the upper hand, for a moment of course. "Something really..."
"Kurumu." Tsukune groaned. "I need you too..." He coughed out crimson on the pavement.
"Tsukune!" She panicked trying to tend his wound.
"H-Help...Mizore."
"What? But what about..."
"I'll be fine...just go!" He coughed after finishing.
As much as Kurumu didn't want to abandon her wounded mate, it was crucial that she helped out Mizore as much as possible.
Kurumu let out a deep breath nodding towards Tsukune.
"I'll be quick Tsukune, I promise."
There she flew off in her succubus form to assist her lover's future bride. Tsukune continued to lay half-conscious in the alleyway. Thought's of dying soon came after, wondering if he'd ever get too see the day of him and Mizore walking out from a chapel, married.
His eye's soon faded, closing all sight of his surroundings.
All he heard once he zoned out of consciousness, was the voice of a boy and a young girl.
Mizore panted heavily as Yuki wouldn't give up.
The snow women both had scratches and cuts from head to toe, from the both of them having equal chances of opportunity to kill the other in a heartbeat. They stared ferociously in each others eyes, with the contempt of staying alive in the end.
"I haven't had this much fun." Yuki panted. "In all those five years. You really are special Mizore." Having enough energy to complete her sentence to grin.
Mizore went on and kept her silence, having all her concentration on defeating her rogue old friend.
"Now..." Yuki stopped her panting. "Ready for round two?" She asked not expecting an answer from Mizore, allowing her to dart at her in an exhausted state. As she sped indefinitely with her sharp frozen sword, she noted that Mizore continued to do nothing expecting a even more longer battle.
"Finally given up have you? Don't think that if you do this you'll save everyone's life, quit playing hero and fight for once!"
Yuki didn't hesitate, not slowing down at all.
With her threat now an meter away from her, Mizore knew she was dead.
"Gotch-" Yuki was silenced when a sharp pain had cut her sword in half. She searched around the area too see who had done this, yet her answer stood right directly at her.
"Y-You!?"
Kurumu stood in a defensive posture straight in front of Mizore.
"K-Kuru..."
"Don't ask." She whispered back to Mizore. "And don't worry, Tsukune's alright." Kurumu smiled in completion.
"What the hell are you doing here succubus? This is a fight for real monsters, not seductive types." Yuki lashed out.
Kurumu just glared deep into the eye's of the devil, staying silent like Mizore had.
Yuki was agitated with all the silence. "Do you know how to fucking speak? Your mom never taught you how to use your mouth? Cause if not, I'll teach you the proper way!" Instead of darting directly at her like Mizore, Yuki kept her distance and threw a barrage of ice spikes at the succubus.
Kurumu managed to dodge each one successfully, and countermeasure with an attack. She flew quickly to Yuki trying to cut her abodmen violently. Though Yuki the whole time flew back and threw another barrage of ice spikes at Kurumu's face everytime, in which she'd easily evade.
This time however, Kurumu knew Yuki's strategy. And lucky for her, a certain comrade was right behind Yuki.
After Yuki threw another barrage of ice spikes at Kurumu, she backed up quickly not watching or sensing someone awaiting her from behind. When Yuki backed up this time, she felt something another sharp yet dense hit be registered on her back. Quickly she turned, spotting a similar werewolf.
"Now you!? What did I say, this is a fight between me and...!"
While Yuki was distracted, a hefty sidekick to the stomach given by none other than Moka.
With a heavy kick like that, Yuki's body flew straight into the mid of a icy surprise. Before she could move or anything, in an instant her chest felt a chilling, bitter and permafrost like freeze. Yuki slowly turned to behind her, to not be surprised of who she'd really had been fighting.
"No...no!" She screamed watching her blood drop from all over.
"Y-You...all can't do this to me! This, this..."
"Enough!" Moka boomed at her. "I think Ms. Nakanowa, has enjoyed her visit here for too long don't you think Mizore?"
Mizore nodded, as Yuki lashed her head back and between Mizore and Moka.
"I think we should let her experience some minor turbulence." Moka grinned devilishly at Yuki.
"W-What are you...guys thinking?"
"Have a nice fall." Mizore smiled to her friend.
"W-What? What do you..." Yuki glared at the ground, it was pretty high up from where Mizore was flying and now that she had practically been outmatched and powerless, a fall from there would kill a wounded monster of her caliber.
"No...S-Sto..!"
It was too late, she was dropped from the sky and ontop of a nearby garbage bin.
Everyone then flew down towards the actual downfall of Yuki.
There at that trash can, they all surrounded her. Making it so there would be no means for escape obviously.
Yuki grunted in pain, being immobilized painfully. She managed to open her eyes and spot Moka, Mizore, Kurumu and Ginei circled around her with now a look of solace.
"T-This isn't fair!" She fussed out like a little kid.
"What? How we all decided to help a friend in need? How is that not fair?"
Yuki frowned disgusted at all of them. "Y-You! All of you! I hope you all...AHHH!" She screamed in pain trying to move with a hole in her chest almost the size of a basketball. "You'll regret this...! Espicially when Kenji..."
"When Kenji what?" A voice came from behind everyone, as the group turned around, they saw three figures being in the shape of Kenji, Minraku and...
"Tsukune!" Mizore exclaimed happily.
"Hey Mizore." Tsukune greeted with a smile, while being escorted by the little girl.
"What are you doing with them?" Kurumu glanced at Kenji and Minraku with a look of suspicion.
"Don't worry she healed me, see." Tsukune tilted his head over to the doll shaped girl, Minraku who smiled blissfully in thanks.
"Why?"
"Cause." Kenji answered to a curious Kurumu and stared at the injured Yuki. "I guess you can infer."
"What?" Yuki called out. "You help him just because I threw you aside? Kenji c'mon, you know that was an accident."
"Ha!" Kenji let out a laugh. "Was the fuck off quote a part of it too?"
"Yeah!"
Kenji laughed aloud. "Yuki, I'm just playing with you."
"Haha, now help me up!" She demanded.
"You know what? Maybe I don't want to."
"Why not!?"
"Cause." He glanced at everyone around him. "I'm not sure if my ex-fiancee, would fit in well with all of us being friends now."
"Friends?" Kurumu popped back into the conversation.
"Yep." Tsukune complied. "Me and Kenji talked it out."
"Friends? For real?" Yuki wide-eyed, asked.
"Of course, before you stabbed him right in the gut I was about to say something. In a matter of fact, same with Akido, which im taking it he just went on with your spectacular act back there."
"Where is Akido by the way?"
Ginei stepped up. "Let's just say..."
"Ah, I don't wanna know. He was dead before he even came into this battle."
"That naive little brat." He mumbled under his breath.
"So, uh since were all friends now can you please..."
"Nope!" Kenji denied the request before she could finish. "Listen Yuki, how am I supposed to marry someone who will go in a fit of rage over someone in a false incident back then."
"But...she stole you from me!"
"How?"
"You let the two other boys..."
"That wasn't me, that was the bully whom you and Mizore had made contact with back then. Would you really think I'd abuse you that much?" Kenji interrupted.
"Besides, i don't think you would want to know what would really happen to you and Mizore if her mother hadn't stepped in."
Yuki stayed quiet, allowing Mizore to ask a question.
"Wait, how do you know about that..."
"I was trying to bring Yuki home since she would always get lost whenever she had came home from school. That day, when those bullies came I was already on the search for her cause it had been an hour since she'd come home." Kenji cleared up.
"And after your mother came and dealt with those bullies, I took my chance to bring my fiancee, I mean ex-fiancee, home."
Mizore nodded with that being clarified.
"What do you mean...ex-fiancee?" Yuki looked as if she were going to cry.
"Yuki, I thought you had wanted to start a new life here in the human world, forgetting that small incident. Not start bitter rivalries that'd have no conclusion all over split milk. Mizore didn't desert you, she had to go to the Yokai Academy."
"But alas." Kenji sighed. "You stuck your nose out too far where it didn't belong, and now here you are. Losing to everything you could have known."
Yuki frowned deeply at Kenji with a massive rage that compelled her.
"Oh yeah, Tsukune."
"Huh?"
"Here." Kenji threw a small shiny object towards him, Tsukune caught and glanced at the item.
"The ring!"
"Yuki had lost her engagement ring back then. Causing another reason we moved here to the human world, so we could manage to gain enough money to buy a replacement. Now you can tell that Yuki had more intentions then reuniting a already dead relationship with Mizore again."
"I deeply apologize for what we've done." Kenji shook his head down at the ground. "I really hadn't want to do everything Yuki had ordered, even though she was playing a game of dictator. But anyway, much as I'd love to chat I have to go. And I bet the same goes for the rest of you guys."
Everyone nodded at that, before Yuki came back into their attention.
"Hang on! What about me?" She yelled trying to not sound petrified.
"Yuki, there has been one thing you've been missing in this whole charade." Kenji spoke vigilantly.
"Closure, and now you'll finally get it.
"As for the rest of you, I'll see you around."
Kenji waved off along with Minraku who seemed pretty cheerful leaving the almost bonedead Yuki.
"Kenji! Come back, don't leave me...please!"
"Ahem." Moka coughed. "I think it's time to wrap things up, Mizore."
As everyone was about to leave Mizore rotated back to Moka.
"Would you like too..."
In an instant, Mizore shook her head. Already knowing what the vampire was planning to do to her rampageous old friend. Moka nodded understandedly, and focused her attention back to Yuki, cracking her knuckles.
"I think it's time...you finally know your place!"
The sounds Yuki made afterword were to haunting and gruesome for Mizore to recall when everyone had left the vampire to perform the coup de grace. There behind Ginei and Kurumu, Mizore walked with her half-healed fiancee.
Their walk was silent neither wanting to speak a word about any of the following events.
Yet Mizore felt something strike her hard in the inside, something she couldn't make out making her spill tears on the pavement.
"Mizore?" Tsukune questioned in worry. "Are you..." He didn't continue, all he knew was asking was only gonna lead to more tears to be shed. There he opened his arms for a embrace, as Mizore cried her eyes on his shoulders.
She sobbed her eyes out on his shoulder unable to cease. Tsukune didn't care one bit if she cried a river or better yet the whole ocean, he just wanted one thing.
To not be apart from her, as much as she did from him.
He rubbed her back, before she pulled away. There Tsukune got a glance of his snow princess, who was about to wipe a tear from her eye.
Tsukune stopped her from doing this and wiped the tear for her instead, with a cheerful smile.
"T-Tsukune." She sniffed.
"Mizore." He answered.
She smiled at him shedding one last tear.
"Now let's..."
Mizore kissed him at that very sentence, giving Tsukune surprised eyes at first. But nevertheless, he responded positively with his tongue.
After their little kiss, they stared lovestruck at each other.
"I love you Mizore."
"I love you too, Tsukune." Mizore blushed red.
"Oh!" Tsukune jumped up. "Almost forgot."
He grabbed Mizore's hand and put the ring on her finger.
"There! Nearly forgot you were my fiancee."
Mizore laughed at his cheesy joke, even though it wasn't funny. It didn't matter, as long as they were in love, anything could be funny.
"Ready to head home?" He held her hand tightly with a glare.
Mizore nodded. "Whenever your ready."
Tsukune nodded in response with a peck on the cheek to a now completely red Mizore.
"Now, let's go."
The couple moved on out towards home to forget and move on towards a bright new future.
Sorry this took so long! Really wasn't expecting it to take nearly 3 month's to release, but hopefully this chapter repays this accidental hiatus.
Anyway that ends this small little arc with Yuki! Tell me in the review's if you liked it or not, or better yet, I'll just make a poll to see if you guys liked this little side story at all.
As for the rest of Cold Arrows, i'm thinking about going up to maybe 40-50 chapters, fingers crossed It won't take 5 years to get this done. But with summer nearby, it should be possible. The rest of the story will be focused on Tsukune and Mizore's relationship which I'm pretty sure a lot of you guys came here to read about so now the last couple of chapters will be a lot more linear.
Also for anyone who went back to read my remastered chapters as a I stated last chapter. Major apologies on not getting them done either, I'll try for the remainder of my spring break to work on those if I don't get distracted or forget.
So that's it for this chapter, thank you all for reading and please don't hesitate to write a review, follow or favorite as always!
I'll see you guys as soon as I can! :P
