Isabelle looked up at Ratigan from her pillow in confusion.
"Eh?"
"I never meant to fall in love with you."
She sat up with a smirk.
"Oh really?"
"Yes, relationships are distracting and I knew no woman would have a man like me, both for being a criminal and a rat."
Isabelle's ears flattened at that comment.
"So, I just gave up on that and then I met you. You literally burst into my life and refused to let me go. You held on harder than a barnacle."
Isabelle blushed at that, knowing her brash attitude gets her in trouble.
"You always tried to show the good on me and you also respected me as an individual. You have given me new goals ad given me everything I needed, free of charge."
He then chuckled and strokes her cheek.
"And you are a delightful distraction."
Isabelle laughed and tackled him to the med, their laughs radiating around the room.
