Guess who's back! Sorry this took so long! I realized I've been trying to get it perfect but nahhhhhh. I hope you enjoy!

Wren felt a wet flick on her face. She groaned and rolled over. It touched her on the nose and she waved it away.

"Micky, stop it."

There was a long stroke on her cheek and she wiped it away, "Glorpak… Fine! I'm up. I'm up." Wren opened her eyes and looked, no Micky.

Wren shrugged too tired to care and started getting dressed for the day. She stood up and accidentally bumped Tamai with her head who was sleeping above her. Tamai's tail flicked Wren in the face and she batted it away.

Pulling on her shirt and pants she rubbed her face and yawned. Groggily Wren reached out for her shoe but it hopped away. She blinked and reached out again, the shoe bounced just out of reach. Wren's irritation mounted and she growled.

"Morph, it's too early for this."

The shoe giggled and hopped off down the hall.

"Morph come back here."

It merely turned and blew raspberries at her much to her annoyance.

Wren grabbed at her boot but her shoe avoided her jumping in ecstatic glee. Getting up with a groan Wren followed morph as he turned into the records room. Wren turned the corner just as she saw Morph ducked into a large open chest.

"Come on Morph, this isn't funny." She leaned into the chest searching for Morph, "Give me back my jorking shoe." Wren dug through some paperwork on the bottom looking for Silver's newest adopted pet. She tossed out several books and had to lean in more so that she could reach the bottom, why did it have to be my shoe?

Suddenly something kicked her butt and she let out a yelp as she fell into the chest. The lid slammed shut and locked with a click. Wren opened her eyes to darkness.

"Merp? Merp?" Morph squeaked.

Wren tried to push it open but it was stuck fast. "What the hell?" She rattled it once again.

Morph looked concerned at the locked chest.

Wren pounded on the sides, Morph! Morph! You opened this thing right now!"

Morph hesitated, the gold eyed beast sounded awfully angry.

"Open this thing up right now! Or I'll lock you in a box and throw you over the side of the nurenbagen ship! Morph! Do you hear me? MORPH!"

Morph screamed and ran away leaving Wren in the locked chest.

Wren heard Morph run away screaming and she cursed continuing to pound against the side, "Morph! Come back here!" She listened and didn't hear anything, "Morph!"

Silence.

"Damn it." Wren felt around in the darkness, she ran her hands over the sides of the box it, there was about an inch or two of space left lengthwise if she tucked her legs up. She reached up and felt the top of the chest a short distance away. It was very dark. And hot. She shifted on top of the papers and putting her hands against the lid pushed. She tried again rattling it some but it remained solid. She kicked it once for good measure with little success. She pushed and pushed hitting it with her small hands. Turning over she put her back to the lid and tried to force it open. She strained gritting her teeth hoping that she'd be able to crack it. No such luck. She collapsed panting, finding it hard to catch her breath. She took in another lung full of air and stopped, the breath getting caught in her throat.

Shite.

Wren ran her fingers along the box again trying to find the seams. Seeing the smallest fraction of light she pushed the lid up and a minute crack opened at the edge of the cover. It wasn't nearly enough though. She pressed her face against it breathing in the cooler air.

The chest she was currently trapped in was a space chest, as such it had to be nearly air tight. This one was old so it had some cracks, luckily for Wren.

She pounded against the sides hoping someone would hear her. Realization dawned upon her, she was in the records room, almost no one came in here, certainly not of their own free will. If she was unlucky she could be trapped for days and she doubted she had enough air to last for even a few hours. Desperation fueled her hits and she even risked calling out.

"IS ANYBODY THERE?"

Wren stopped herself from panicking, panicking would do no good. Wren calmed her nerves. She forced herself to lay down on the bottom of the box. Wren propped her feet against the lid, her knees tucked to her chest wedging the lid open so the crack could let in more air. Taking shallower breaths she slowed down her racing heart. Calmly she felt around in the papers hoping to find something to aid her escape. Of all the chests she had to be trapped in she was trapped in the one full of useless paper and books. Her hands alighted along something that was smooth and leathery. She almost laughed, it was all very ironic. She finally found her shoe and here she was about to suffocate. She grabbed it and put it under her head. She might as well be comfortable if she was going to be stuck here. Closing her eyes she relaxed pretending she was just sitting on a beach. She counted to ten and pounded on the side of the box. She counted another ten and hit the chest again. Hopefully, someone passing by would hear her. Even more hopefully they would come looking for her, before she up and died of stupidity.

What a lame way to die. Wren mused to herself. She hoped Silver didn't find her first cause then she'd just die of embarrassment anyway.

Tamai awoke suddenly, sweating. His shirt was soaked and he sat up in his hammock. Maybe a bad dream? Which was preposterous, he didn't dream. Tamai looked down at the hammock below him hoping Wren hadn't seen. She was gone. He breathed a sigh of relief, if he did have a bad dream she would've been grinning at him first thing in the morning, like the evil munchkin she was. He turned over to go back to sleep but then stopped. He looked down again. Her bed was not tidied, the blankets were strewn to the side and he saw she had forgotten her belt and knives.

Strange.

Wren always kept a neat hammock, she said it was because she was leading by example. So far no one else had followed and just threw their things to the side, much to her exasperation.

Tamai's ears twitched, he was much too curious to go back to sleep. Hoping down as gracefully as his heritage belied, he touched her blanket. It was cold, so she'd been up for a bit.

Tamai was compelled to fold her blanket for her. So he picked it up did just that. Tamai neatly smoothed all the creases and plopped the blanket down on her hammock. He looked around, some of the crew had already gotten up and must've been eating breakfast.

He remembered Wren bumping his butt with her head earlier this morning which was rare, what time was that? He tried to remember. It must've been an hour or two ago.

"She really needs to sleep more." He muttered to himself.

Tamai went over to Micky and shook him awake.

"Bwa- I didn't do it!" The brown haired teen sat up bleary eyed, his brown hair sticking up in all directions.

Tamai sighed, "Micky, do you know where Wren is?"

Micky yawned, "Of course not…" He smacked his lips, "What time is it?"

"Never mind, go back to sleep."

Micky frowned, "Is there something wrong?" he said still not one hundred percent all there.

Tamai shook his head, "No, it's fine."

Micky lay back down not worried at all, "Okay…" and drifted back to sleep.

Tamai got up and looked at Dante sleeping above Micky and had a sudden urge to draw a mustache on the other teen's face. But he didn't.

Tamai left his Guandao against the weapons rack and walked down the hall. Wren will show up whenever he… she feels like it. He knew the kid's weird ways. Tamai passed the records room about to go to the kitchen.

I have to finish the book keeping from last night.

Tamai suddenly remembered and wanted to smack himself in the face.

I'll grab the books quickly and finish over breakfast.

He turned around and went into the records room wishing he had finished his work last night instead of indulging Wren with her newly invented board game. She called it monopoly, or something like that, but it took forever. He walked to the desk that stood ostentatiously in the center of the room. He dug around for the account books and stopped.

There were books on the floor.

Now for the rest of the ship, that wouldn't have been anything to stop for, but only he came into this room. Occasionally Silver or Barney too, but they were always careful to put things back where they found them. Tamai's ears stood straight up. There were books and papers strewn haphazardly across the floor. He knelt down and picked one up. Maybe they had an intruder, a stowaway? Tamai got up, book in hand intending to go to Silver and tell him straightaway. He raced out the room wondering where they had picked up the stowaway and how nobody had noticed. He was at the door when he heard a faint rustling noise. Tamai froze and slowly turned back into the room. He heard it again, the faintest sound of rustling paper, like someone was breathing on some loose sheets and they fluttered for a moment.

There's someone else in here.

Tamai was instantly on guard. He suddenly wished he had taken his guandao with him. He crept back into the room, feet completely silent. He moved into the room looking around and as he got closer to the center he could hear the breathing better, he swiveled his ears trying to find the direction it was coming from.

There was some shifting and he heard a tap.

And another.

And another.

Slow labored taps.

The chest!

Tamai turned to the chest and ran over to it. He suddenly realized there must be someone trapped in it. Shite. There was no way someone could survive in there, it was sealed shut. He had never worried that someone would fall in because no one could fit. Maybe a child had accidently gotten on board and gotten locked in.

"If you can hear me don't worry, I'm going to get you out." Tamai said looking around desperately for a key.

Whoever was inside kept tapping slowly and Tamai raced around looking for the key. Where is it?

He pulled down books and looking for the key. He threw open drawers and flipped through books hoping someone had left it in them. He swept through corners searching. Desperation fueled his actions and he tore through entire shelves of records and books. The tapping grew fainter and weaker. The time between the taps growing longer until Tamai realized they had stopped.

He dropped the books he was holding and dropped down next to the chest.

"Hold on. I'm coming." He tried to stay calm, his bangs plastered to his forehead from sweat. Adrenaline fueled his entire body as he thought of some poor kid trapped in there. He listened and couldn't hear anything. No breathing, no moving, nothing. He clenched his jaw.

Looking around Tamai hastily grabbed a lamp from the desk and raising it above his head he swung it crashing down against the wood right above the lock. It left a dent and Tamai continued to hammer against the wood.

"Stay with me. I'm going to get you out. Just hold on." He grit his teeth and swung the lamp down again. The lamp broke in his hands and he cursed. Looking at the hole he made he grimaced and grabbing the wood with his strong hands he broke the lock clean off the chest. Leaving a hole where it once was. Tamai threw the lid open hoping he wasn't too late. He stood panting looking down into the box and nearly fainted.

Wren lay curled up on the bottom of the chest. Her hair was splayed out like rays around her pale face. Her hand just barely touching the side of the box where she must've been tapping for hours.

Wren suddenly awoke and took in deep shuddering breath. She breathed shifting on the papers and looked up. Above her Tamai stood panting, purple eyes looking at her like she was a zombie.

"Wren!" He reached a hand down to help just as Wren leapt out of the box into his waiting arms much to his surprise. She stumbled tripping over the rim and Tamai caught her sitting down hard as she clung to his neck. Wren sat where she fell leaning against his shoulder taking in deep lungful's of sweet air. Tamai put a hand on her back just feeling her take every single breath. Her small back trembling with the exertion.

Tamai shuddered to think what would've happened if he had been a second later. If he had forgotten about his books. If he had gone straight to breakfast. He couldn't help but hold her a little tighter when he thought about Wren gasping out her last breaths alone in the dark and he only a few feet away. She could've…

Wren's breathing slowed just enough for her to gasp out, "Thanks Tamai."

Tamai continued to hold her upright, "You really are an idiot." He muttered.

Wren laughed painfully. "Yeah I am." She gripped Tamai's shirt and using his shoulder got her legs under her to stand. She took a deep breath and stood up.

"You need any help?" Tamai asked from his spot on the floor unsure whether or not to help her.

Wren looked down at him and grinned, "Nah, I'm good." She let go of his shoulder, "But there is a certain little blob that I need to have a word with."

Silver was walking around looking for Morph. His new metal arm pulled at his shoulder and he grimaced.

"Purp!" Morph squeaked and chirruped when he saw Silver.

Silver grinned, "Ah! Morphy! That's where you are!" He reached out to hold the blob and suddenly knives flew from the adjacent hallway sticking in a circle around the screaming blob. Silver jerked back and looked down the hallway.

Wren came running up and she tried to snatch the blob from within the ring of blades. Morph screamed and ran away.

Silver blinked at Wren's rumpled appearance and she pulled one of the knives from the wall and ran after the blob.

"Morph! Come back here!"

Silver shook himself out of his shock and ran after her, "Wait. Wren. Wren!"

Morph fled down the hallway looking for a place to hide before the furious girl could stab him again. Morph turned to watch the gold beast chase after him and shrieked as a silver blur came at him. He ducked out of the way and the knife stuck in the wall. Morph screamed again as another five or six knives spun at him.

"Wren! Be careful!" Orange yelled, "Leave the blob alone!"

"He stole my Jorking shoes! No one steals my shoes!" Wren yelled back.

Wren chased Morph onto the deck. She cocked back her arm and threw her last belt knife. Morph had to shriek to a stop as it flew right past him. Before he could run off again Wren darted forward and snatched him out of the air.

Morph cried out shaking in the girl's fists.

"Got you, you little turnip!" She snarled.

The crew had heard the commotion and came on the deck just as Wren stuffed Morph in a box and slammed the lid on it.

"Wren! Let the blob go! He didn't mean no harm!"

Wren tied the box shut and was about to crush it when Dante ran up and put her into a headlock.

"Hey! Hey! Let go of me!" She fought, the box dropping with a clatter to the deck.

"Stop it!" Dante held her back.

"He stole my shoes!" Wren kicked her feet. She dealt a swift kick to Dante's shin and Dante let her go with a curse.

Wren ran diving for the box. Zeus was able to intercept her, diving himself he grabbed the small girl mid-air and rolled holding her around the middle.

"Zeus! Put me down!"

"No."

Wren drew a knife and threw it at the box. Luckily Chris scooped it up just in time and he yelped as a knife stuck at his feet

"It's like holding onto an eel!" Zeus complained as Wren nearly squirmed out of his grasp.

Tamai came out onto the deck and looked at the chaos the little demon had caused.

"Tamai! Tamai!" Barney said pointing, "You have to stop Wren!"

Tamai froze when everyone not busy trying to keep Wren from murdering a blob looked at him.

The cat boy shrugged, "You think I can stop her?"

Barney wrung his hands, "Can't you say something?"

"Why would I? If she thinks the blob needs to die, the blob needs to die."

"TAMAI!" Barney wailed.

Everyone watching just sighed, Tamai really was like a doting parent when it came to Wren.

Wren managed to wiggle out of Zeus's grip and she snatched the box from Chris who was scared enough to back off. Wren held the box over the edge of the ship as Morph screamed and shook inside.

"Don't take my threats lightly." The girl said.

Finally Silver appeared on deck and pointed, "WREN! DON'T YOU DARE!"

Wren whipped around and instantly blushed. Silver ran out limping and glared at the girl who was now holding the box sheepishly.

"What did I say about trying to toss my pets into space?"

Wren sighed, "You're not allowed to throw things overboard whenever you nurenbagen want to." She droned, "But Silver!"

"Don't butt Silver me!" Silver admonished, "No more! Do you understand me?"

Wren held out the box, "Yes…"

"Good." Silver opened the box and Morph flew out and licked Silver's face. He giggled, "Who's a good little morph? You are! Yes you are."

Wren rolled her eyes and scowled, "Morph."

Morph looked over and shrieked in fear trembling on Silver's shoulder.

"You do anything like that again and I will end you." Wren threatened.

The blob started crying into Silver's ear and Silver shushed him assuring that Wren would never hurt him.

Wren sighed and then to everyone's relief turned and walked away.

Micky ran up to Wren and hooked an arm around her shoulders, "you're a funny one Wren."

Wren stuck her tongue out at him, "Is there something wrong with your head?"

"You guys keep on hitting me, of course there's something wrong." Micky complained rubbing his head.

"That's because you keep being stupid." Wren replied.

Dante joined the two, "Here Wren." He held out Wren's knives.

Wren grinned, "Thanks Dante! Sorry about the shin." She took them and started putting them back where they belonged.

"It's cool." Dante watched as she shoved a knife into her boot. "I still think you carry too many."

"No such thing." Wren pointed a knife at him and sheathed it on her belt.

Tamai came up last and didn't say anything only walked behind them carrying his guandao. Wren noticed him and grinned. Tamai nodded back.

"Do you guys wanna…" Wren started.

"No we don't want to help you throw the blob overboard." All three boys said in unison.

"Damn."

I know this one's short but don't worry! There is a lot more. A ton more. Like 50 pages more. I've just been writing and not posting. Then I realized it was too long to do all at once so I'll just cut it up into shorter pieces. Sorry again!
