Ok so here it finally is. The last update for From the Inside Out. This one took longer than normal because honestly, I just didn't know how to end it. So I hope you all enjoy how I ended up finishing it all off! It has been truly awesome to write this fanfic and hear all the awesome feedback from you all! You guys are awesome! And a huge shout out to my beta reader u/cupcakes_please over at r/frozen for helping me out through my first time creatively writing.

Epilogue

A soft chill swept over the rolling hills and quickly engulfed the blonde kneeling in the damp grass. Several beams of sunlight broke through the morning clouds and caught the ice blue eyes that were looking towards the ground.

Elsa lifted her hand towards her face as several memories began to flash before her. That fateful day several months ago when her mother sacrificed herself for her. The following weeks of misery, pain, misunderstanding, but eventual joy soon followed. Images of a bouncing redhead filled the field in front of her as a smile crept across her jaw.

Tears of joy began to well in the eyes of the blonde as Anna danced before her. "You are the one who really saved me. You know that right?" She looked towards the redhead wondering if she realized how much she meant to the blonde. 'Without her I'm not sure I could have made it through these past few months.'

The happy image was suddenly interrupted by a auburn haired boy screaming and flailing as he was dragged off behind two burly men in blue uniforms. "Mr. Westerguard! Kicking and screaming isn't going to change the fact that you are going to jail!"

"N-no! You don't understand!" He glared over his shoulder at the kneeling blonde. "Sh-she's some kind witch!"

"Yeah. I'm sure she is buddy."

Elsa couldn't help but feel slightly sorry for Hans. 'I mean technically it is my fault he's insane now. I just wish he never would have ruined everything in the first place.'

"Hey Anna!" A small girl with dirty blonde hair ran towards the girl and wrapped her arms around her.

'Jessica. That stupid bitch is the reason why Kristoff cheated on Anna.' As if on cue, the lumbering oaf followed swiftly behind his now girlfriend. 'But for some reason Anna managed to befriend this one as well.'

Elsa was still baffled that Anna even considered talking to this girl, let alone go on double dates with Kristoff and her. The angelic nature of Anna continued to surprise Elsa to this day. Elsa's thoughts were interrupted by a shout.

"Elsa!" Anna was waving her hands frantically and shouting her name. "Elsa-"

"-wake up!" The blonde slowly rubbed her eyes while the sunlight beamed across her face. "Elsa c'mon! We have our last final then we can go home for the summer!"

Home. My home. Our home. "Ok I'm up." A pillow crashed into her face as the redhead grinned mischievously. "I said I'm up!" Elsa tackled Anna to the ground while digging her fingers into the girls sides sending her into a fit of laughter. Elsa happened to glance at the clock in the corner of the room. 8:30? Shit! "Anna we gotta go!"

The redhead shook her head as Elsa scrambled to throw on clean clothes and straighten out her nearly perfect hair. "Duh silly. I was saying that earlier when you were getting your much needed beauty sleep."

"Hey!"

A giggle escaped Anna's lips. "Shhhh. You're perfect. Now let's go!" Anna dragged Elsa behind her as she ran from the crowded room.

"So you're both sure you have all your things?" Elsa's father asked the grinning couple standing in the now bare room.

"Of course we do papa. Anna would never forget any bit of her endless supply of clothing."

"Yeah tell me about it." He chuckled as he motioned to the four bright pink suitcases stacked in the hallway. "I'll start carrying this stuff down. You can follow when you're ready." He turned and left the room, dragging several suitcases behind him.

Anna beamed and planted a warm kiss against Elsa's lips. "So this is it huh? The end of our freshman year. I'd say it was pretty eventful. Dontcha think?" She coyly grinned while placing another kiss at the corner of Elsa's lips.

Eventful is the least descriptive word you could use. "Yeah I'd say." The couple intertwined their hands and began to walk out the door. The blonde glanced over her shoulder and took in the room one last time.

The once cluttered space had been replaced with an air of emptiness. The makeshift bed had been separated and placed against the opposite walls. The two wooden desks were even more scratched and scuffed than before and the dressers fared no better. The feelings of anxiety that had filled her body when Elsa first set sight on the room were now replaced with joy and happiness that she was leaving with the love of her life.

She had never been happier in her life.

A thin cold air rolled down the hill and passed over the crystal clear waters of the small lake. A pair of blue birds twirled around over the clearing singing a song over pure joy as the weaved and bobbed through the trees.

Wow. Elsa stared out over the crowd that had gathered on the benches in front of the lake. Despite the lack of contact between her father and her mothers side of the family, plenty of people had gone well out of their way to travel to their farm for this special occasion. Even Anna's parents were able to set aside their differences for their daughter. Fucking took them long enough. You'd think four years would be long enough to come to grips with your child's sexuality.

Anna and Elsa had both decided that neither one of them should take the place of the groom, since both their fathers wanted to walk their little girl down the aisle. Instead they took a less traditional approach and both walked down the aisle. Elsa and her father first, followed by Anna and hers.

The soft notes of music permeated the quiet forest air that surrounded the clearing. Ok. Time to do this. She slowly stepped off, her father beaming her her side. The dry grass crunched under Elsa's feet as the trail of her ice blue dress dragged behind her. After what seemed like several hours, Elsa had arrived at the altar and turned to face the crowd, most of whom were agape at the beauty that was standing before them.

A second tune emanated from the radio at the back of the crowd as Anna and her father started their own walk. Woah. Elsa could feel her heart flutter under her chest as she drank in the stunning goddess walking towards her. Anna's hair was bundling over her shoulders, bouncing with every step. The dark green fabric of her dress hugged every curve and crevice of her flawless body while her eyes sparkled in the sunlight. A toothy smile graced her face when she locked eyes with the breathless Elsa standing at the altar.

My God. She is so beautiful. The blondes knees began to quiver beneath her dress. Her breath shortened to quick, silent rasps when the radiant redhead took her hand next to the altar. As the music faded away the preacher, one of her father's friends, began to speak.

"Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to…" The next few minutes were filled with tears of joy a stifled squeals of happiness from both parties. The two flushing girls finally ended the ceremony with a longing kiss while the audience cheered like never before.

Elsa and Anna walked hand in hand down the aisle and out of the clearing as they made their way to the outdoor reception being held in the field just outside of Elsa's house. Several pavilions had been erected with tables covered in delectable foods surrounding the temporary wooden dance floor. The guests made their way to their seats as the soft hum of music floated over the wooden planks.

"Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time it is my greatest pleasure to introduce the newly wed couple,Elsa and Anna!"

This is it. This is really happening. Elsa took Anna's hand. "You ready?"

A large toothy grin graced Anna's face as her cheeks began to flush. "More than ever." She's so fucking adorable.

They walked onto the dance floor and began to spin slowly in circles when the music had begun to play. "I love you Anna." Elsa nuzzled her face against Anna's neck and placed a chaste kiss upon it. "But I have something to give you."

The redhead furrowed her eyebrows. "Right now?"

"Trust me." Elsa pulled Anna's hand out in front of her body and made several swift motions with her pale fingers. A soft blue light encircled Anna's ring as the became encased in a flawless clear ice. The ice began to crack as several small words were engraved onto the surface.

"E-Elsa. It's beautiful!" She hugged the blondes neck and soaked it with several tears of joy.

"From the inside out."

"W-what?" The crowd had began to whisper, wondering why the couple had suddenly stopped dancing.

"That's what it says on the ring. From the inside out."

"Ok. But why?"

Oh Anna. Elsa pressed her lips against Anna's. "My love for you comes from the inside out. I love you with all of my everything Anna. To me you are sweeter than life itself. Without you I am just a shell of a person." Tears began to stream down Elsa's face. "But with you, I feel perfection. I love you Anna."

The now crying couple resumed their slow circles around the wooden floor while they exchanged chaste kissed intermittent with the occasional longing lip lock. They were so lost in each other they hardly noticed the rest of the guests spinning in their own circles around them.

They were truly blinded by love.
