Finn's View
It's been a good week spending time with the other guys it's… fun? Look I'm not use to fun I've gone a good portion of my life without it. But now giving a chuckle or grin here and there it seemed to lighten the mood when I was with others. Flame princess and Jungle princess still can't stand seeing me talk to the other and Bubblegum is happy with Marceline. Sitting in the academy Coffee shop I had mint and chocolate favored jasmine coffee with a nice sweet roll. The roll was pretty much drowned in velvet frosting. Sitting across from Marceline I found that she never did stop teasing someone in anyway she could find. Marceline, "Finn I saw the Jade queen and Jade Elder walking with Lady this morning what's up with that"? "They came to visit insisting that I find someone to have a relationship with. But also they wanted a look around OOO it's been a few years since they left the Jade kingdom".
Marceline grinned as the drained the red out of a cream puff to say, "So you finally going to pick Flame princess to get them to get off your back"? "No even though it seems like a good idea I can't put Flame princess or Jungle princess in harms way. The bosses of under city are going to get bolder I know this for sure. If I allow them to away into my life I'll regret it for sure". Marceline, "Finn you know Bonnie and me will support you and the rest of you family it will help I'm sure of it". "*Sigh* Jake only goes adventuring with me when it's a dungeon or cave. He doesn't want to work with the Justice department said something about not allowed to take a lot of breaks or something like that. You got to remember he's a very lazy guy Lady puts up with him because when he's not lazing about he's talking none stop.
"It's primarily why their relationship works… Marceline please don't push this. My life… I will always have a bright target on my back and if I pick either of them I might as well tell my enemies to kill me. You know my past I've felt soul-crushing pain twice in my life. The first I lost my tribe and my first love… then I lose my new family and the teachers that showed me that life always gives you a second chance. I don't have a third one in me it will break me to lose anyone I love. Jake, Lady, and Jermaine they can hold their own and if needed they can run".
Marceline, "And you don't think Jungle or Flame can hold their own"? Shaking my head I said, "No I don't think they can I took down Jungle princess by using basic tactics. Flame princess has no real fighting experience and from the video Bmo showed me. You know that neither of them will be able to stand a chance against some of the guy's I have to fight.
"If I had to state what I want in a women it would have to be one that meets two standards. One she can't lack common sense and two she has to be able to stand right in my face and say 'We are a couple'. If a girl can do that and not make me laugh then I'll believe that love is still out there waiting for me". Marceline drank down her coffee and looked right into my sunglasses to say, "Finn if either of them meets your standards then what"? "Then fuck my worries I'll sweep them off their feet and kiss them with everything I've had to keep hidden. So far in my life pain has been the dominating factor I have so little to be happy for". Drinking down my coffee I got up a told Marceline I would talk with her and her brother later. I had to go and meet Jade queen and the Elder in the academies garden.
Seeing the Jade females smiling with Lady I waved but as I did I turned and saw none other then Nazz. "Nazz what are you doing here"? Before she answers she stabbed my hand hissing I pulled away and she said, "Finn I'm going to teach you a lesson". "What… *cough* what's happening"? Falling to one knee Nazz took a step back as the others ran to us. Jade Elder, "Nazz what have you done"? Nazz, "Finn I poisoned you with a special compound if you don't tell the truth the poison will hurt you ever so slightly. Until it causes you to pass out or puke from the pain". "Nazz what *groan* why"? Nazz, "Cause Finn you need to learn a few things and a few friends of yours have become my hostages. Meet me in the school chemistry lad and well begin".
Lady helped me stand but after a moment I got Angeni to push the right amount of Chi to my legs. Walking to the lab I found Marceline and Marshall trying to pull the doors open. Marshall, "Finn some Jade chick snatched up the guys, Flame princess, Jungle princess and Bubblegum. She said she knows you". Marceline, "Finn you ok"? "No I'm poison and I fell like hell…*pant* the woman you're talking to is Nazz she's apart of the Jade royal family. She's doing this because of me for what we're about to find out". Knocking Nazz let us inside she had the guys hanging in a cage, while Jungle and Flame princess were standing in two large tubes. Nazz pushed Bubblegum to everyone else and said, "Everyone stay by the door or the guys and girls get a very bad chemical burn. Finn put that collar around your need and be ready to answer my questions truthfully".
Feeling the leather strapped around my neck I stood in the front row of the classroom while Nazz sat in the back. Nazz, "Finn you and I have know each other for a good amount of years I see you like family a brother even. But after everything I've heard about your life I became sick. You're going to learn here and now what tough love is and you're going to thank me in the end. I have thirty questions for you Finn answer them without lying and you and your friends walk away. Lie ten times and your pass out and we start all over". Nodding she began, "Finn do you still love my sister"? "Yes I've haven't stopped loving her". Nazz, "Oh and take off those sunglasses I want to see your eyes".
Following what she asked she went on, "Finn have you ever thought of hurting a woman"? "Yes several times of different jobs but I try not to". Nazz, "Finn are you afraid of something"? "No". Feeling the collar send jolts of electricity into my body until I fell to my knees Nazz said, "First strike Finn looks like the poisons going to get a good start on kicking you ass. Ok Finn have you ever masturbated"? "No"! Nazz, "Good to know your doing well on holding you boys in check. Also have you ever had a wet dream"? "No" with that another jolt went into my body and caused me to curse at the pain. Nazz, "Finn you should really stop lying it's only going to make it more painful. Alright whom have you dreamed about in a sexual way"? "Flame and Jungle princess".
Nazz, "Hear that ladies my brother has his eyes for either of you feeling happy"? Seeing both of them blush I was beyond embarrassed at what I said. Nazz, "Finn would you want to have sex with either of the princess if give the chance"? "Yes". Looking at the ground I felt defeat I wasn't going to live any of this down. Nazz, "Cheer up Finn answer a few more questions and you'll be done". In time the last two questions came and I could fell the poison kicking me senseless. Nazz, "Finn how hurt were you when you lost to the bosses of bosses Judge Marcus"? Everyone looked at me in shock because only a few people even knew of my encounter with Marcus and Nazz wasn't one of them. "I felt weak the guy was a walking powerhouse.
"I just couldn't stand the thought that him beat me… It reminded me of when I lost Jade I could do anything I couldn't protect anyone I cared for". I felt the tears drift down my face as the words left my mouth but Nazz went on. Nazz, "Finn why won't you let your emotions out more"? "My emotion have caused me to go against my better judgment caused me to question everything I've done. And even know fill me with such regret and sadness that I just want to hid somewhere and never leave. I pushed my emotion away not only to end the pain but also so that I could be the hero people need. People need a hero that can show them what it means to be strong even if the hero can't feel anything after everything's said and done". Nazz, "Finn I did all this so that everyone here can see you for who you really are. A young man that's been forced to grow up because of the choices of others.
"General Corey and his father set in motion a chain of events that still haunt you even today. Finn I want you to understand I did this so that you can see that there are people that doesn't see you as a weakling. They see you as a friend that they will gladly standby please Finn can you change for us all even her". Nazz walked up to me and handed me a piece of paper it was a child drawing but who drew it was unmistakable. Nazz brought me into a hug as the tears drifted down my face Nazz gave me the antidote and I passed out in her hug.
Marshall's View
Finn really broke down I never seen him at his most vulnerable and from how Lady was reacting neither has she. Finn was knocked out and Nazz placed him next to a desk to let everyone else go. Walking over to her we asked what was on the drawn and my heart sank. Nazz showed us a picture her sister made with Finn and Jade princess holding hands. Around them was a heart saying 'we are stronger when we love the people around us'. Looking at Flame and Jungle princess I could see their eyes swell with sadness from everything Finn revealed. Nazz went really deep into Finn's innermost thoughts and dreams. Now with nothing to hid Flame and Jungle really had a reason to go after Finn. But it also meant they needed to show why they should be with him.
Third person's View
Flame princess and Jungle princess we secretly meeting to talk about what had taken place the other day. Lady had talked to Headmaster Simon to have Finn take the remaining two days of the week off. Sitting across from one another in the empty classroom Jungle princess was going over what she should say. But Flame princess started, "Jungle princess look I want this whole rivalry to end I want to love Finn and you want to love him too. So lets both be his anchor lets get him to see that we can give him what he needs to be stronger that any criminal out there". Jungle princess, "And how will we do that"? Flame princess, "We train Finn only responds when he has a descent fight or someone can hold their own against him. We do that and we get Finn to open up and we get his heart to fully bloom".
Jungle princess, "So I'm assuming we're going to talk to Canyon for such training". Flame princess nodded and the two started to make their way to Canyon's home by the edge of the Grasslands. Upon reaching the location of where the famous female warrior should live all they found was a river and a gently moving current. Jungle princess moved to the river and saw several pairs of impressions. Yelling in the direction of the impressions the water parted to reveal a set of stairs. Walking down Flame princess was worried about the water but seeing it not touch her she was ok. Now standing inside the living room of the famous warrior Canyon was drinking tea with two of the Jade royals.
Canyon, "So what can I do for you two"? Flame princess, "Miss Canyon can you train us we want to be able to prove that we can standby Finn". Both Jade females stopped drinking tea and looked right at the two princesses. Canyon, "Ok Nazz is staying with Finn for the weekend and I sure Finn's going to go out to clear his head. I'll train you two as a team and after one month you two will try your luck. So I suggest you call you mothers and tell them you won't be seeing them for the next month. I'm sure they can pull some strings to get you out of classes or at least send the work home so you don't fall behind". Agreeing to the plan Canyon pulled out a map and said, "Ok I know two artifacts that belongs to your kingdom.
"One is a Spear and the other is a necklace both will be pretty hard to find so that's why well take a month to find it". Calling home both princesses told the situation to their mothers and both understood. Canyon then escorted the two Jade royals to Lady's house and soon was off walking in the direction of the two weapons.
Over in the Tree Fort Finn was being comforted by his two loving Brothers and his loving sister. Nazz was holding her brother the shock of releasing all his pent up emotions had left him bed ridden. So naturally she stayed to provide whatever help she could. But today Finn was up and about not that energetic but at least he was smiling more then before. Finn allowed them into his secret sanctuary showing them his prized possessions. As well as his case flies only two of which were unfinished both were kidnappings from three years ago. The trail had gone cold by the Justice Departments standpoint but Finn wasn't giving up hope. Finn, "Guy's I want to go to the Well of Guidance it'll be able to show me what I need to do to be able to defeat Judge Marcus". Nazz, "Finn you just started to walk after you let out your emotions are you sure you should be going on such long trips"?
Finn, "Yes Nazz I'm sure that's why I want you three to come with me. Jermaine no staying behind this time it's a family trip. Nakago can hold down the Fort while we're gone and don't worry he knows who to expect". Smiling the group changed and filled their own packs with what they needed for the trip. Finn placed his swords on his leather straps and felt better know he was somewhat back to his old self… somewhat. Walking down stairs in his blue and yellow-stripped sweat suite Finn smiled seeing his family happy to go out. Before they left they got a call from Lady telling them Canyon had left to go on a trip and she wouldn't be back for a month. Jake passed on the info about Canyon departure and even told them how Jade queen and Elder were now staying with her.
Jake thanks his girlfriend and off they went the trip to the Well wouldn't be that long. It was located in a familiar mountain range in the Rock kingdom. Finn was deep in though his mind was still clouded by the looks that Flame princess and Jungle princess gave him that day. Finn, 'I wonder if they dreamt of me life I did for them'?
