Yo- first off, please calm down people.
Just because I haven't written in a while doesn't mean ya'll should go mid evil on my ass. Second of all, I've been trying to update some of my old stories and such, like The Last Cowboy, however- I've written myself into corners with a majority of my old fics and they need to be re written.
Again, it doesn't mean that I'm going to abandon them. It's just harder to pick them up when nothing I try to write out for the next few chapters seems to fit with the story.
But I have been working on stuff here and there. On new and old fics. I'm also trying to get into the habit of writing longer chapters and finishing my works within a two to three month time span.
I've even started and gotten half of a new chapter on Second Chances before I realized that I needed to redo a majority of that fic as well.
So I have been working...
And now I will try to update this story before ya'll find me and start a riot or something in my front yard.

Damn. Kakashi thought as he and Shay slowly made their way back towards the house where everyone was gathered around and talking in low tones amongst each other while Jiriaya and Tsunade huddled together off to the side, holding one another.
Damn, Kakashi thought again as they got closer to the house as he realized that Shay was right about what she had said. When people didn't know another person very well and something bad happened, the person considered an outsider by others tended to be blamed for any and all misfortune.
He could see this very clearly in the way that several of his friends were looking- or maybe it was glaring- in their direction as they drew close enough for him to hear Anko talking shit about his woman and further upsetting everyone.
"I told you! I told you the little skank was no good! I bet she killed the old man!"
Upon hearing this, Kakashi slipped his hand from Shay's grasp and ran towards the group of people that he called his friends, and grabbed Anko by the front of her shirt before anyone could think to react, and threw her to the ground where she hit hard enough for her breath to leave her lungs in a Whoosh, while everyone gaped at him.
Just because he refused to punch the bitch's face in didn't mean that he was going to go easy on her. Especially after she had already been warned by both himself and Shay once already today.
Not bothering to give the stupid woman any time to regain her breath, he reached down and grabbed her by the hair and began dragging her toward a mud puddle several feet away where he then dropped her, face first into the puddle and stepped on her back, just between her shoulder blades to hold her down while she thrashed around under him and then turned his attention to the others presently watching him and shouted.
"I've had enough of you people! You're supposed to be my friends and what do you do the second you get here? You attack my woman, verbally as well as physically. You make asses out of yourselves and make her feel like she has no goddamn right to even be here, when she lives here! You people should be ashamed of your selves! Your all acting like spoilt little brats!"
"If none of you have the common sense that god gave a fucking flea, then get your shit and get the hell out of Shay's house. She has put up with all of your nonsense long enough. If you can't behave- then you aren't welcome here!" And with that he cast Anko one last scathing look as he slowly shifted his foot off of her so that she could come up for air.
For once in his life he didn't care if he killed the bitch. And he wanted her to know that too.
Watching as she pushed herself up so that her face was no longer in the water, she coughed and sputtered for a moment before she turned her head to look at him.
Her dark eyes catching his mismatched ones, one stare was startled while the other held nothing but anger and bitterness within it as Kakashi leaned down and said in Anko's ear, "I don't think that I have ever loathed anyone as much as I loath you right now. This is your last fucking warning, you will get no more chances from me. And the next time you start talking shit about my woman, Shay's sweet pleas and words of mercy will not save you from my wrath."
Once he had said his piece, he straightened back to his full height and walked back over to where Shay was standing, watching the entire spectacle, and grabbed her hand and began to pull her away from the house and the prying eyes of the others.
He needed desperately to calm himself down and he had no wish to be away from his girl for the amount of time it would take to calm himself, so he intended to spend the next few hours dragging Shay around with him if he had too. All he knew was that if he didn't calm down within the next few hours, he'd likely murder someone.
