A/N I appreciate all the reviews to this story. I think there may be one or two more chapters left as I will be bringing this story to a close. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this latest chapter.

Gilligan stepped out of the car and looked at the big white house. It was certainly something. It was going to need a lot of work but he could see it's potential. "Wow." He said. "What a house."

"Isn't it?" Mary Ann smiled. "I know it's going to need major repairs and everything but when I saw it I just fell in love with it."

"I can see why." The sailor said staring at the structure. "It's incredible. My friend Bryan lived on a farm in Pennsylvania. The house was always filled with people. Their Christmases and Thanksgivings were memorable. My family and I spent a few with them."

The farm girl put her arm around her fiancé. "So you think we could have some pretty amazing holidays here? With our own kids?"

Gilligan turned his head. "Kids?"

"Of course. Don't you want kids?" Mary Ann inquired.

"I suppose so." He replied. "I'll be honest I never gave it a lot of thought because I always said that I was never getting married. Ever."

The girl from Kansas laughed. "Yes I know. I recall when the Skipper wanted to practice a wedding ceremony and you let's say freaked out when I came out wearing that purple veil."

Gilligan grinned. "I thought you were tricking me."

"Is that why you ran when I wanted you to kiss me?" She laughed.

"Sorry Mary Ann." He replied.

"It's alright. Just promise you won't run when you have to do it for real."

"Never." He replied taking her in his arms and kissing her soft pink lips.

Two weeks later

Ginger sat at her vanity table applying her make-up. The premiere of the movie was tonight. She insisted that they still have it. No way was she letting that Eva or Diana or whatever she called herself ruin what she worked so hard for. Security was going to be extra tight. The fans were going to be kept farther away then normal. Of course the movie star knew they wouldn't be too happy but she believed they would have to understand after what happened last time.

The Professor came out of his bathroom wearing a white towel around his waist. Ginger paused in application of her mascara to grin at his reflection. "Hot." She remarked.

Roy shook his head. "Don't start." He said.

"I'm not starting anything." Ginger smiled sweetly. "Why would you think such a thing?"

"Let's start with how you followed me into the shower." He replied heading to his closet to pick out his jacket and shirt.

"I didn't hear you complaining." The redhead answered putting down her mascara and picking up her lipstick. "Besides you followed me into my shower."

"My love." He began. "I'm afraid your facts are a bit mixed up. You lured me into your bathroom under false circumstances. You claimed you couldn't get the water on and then once I was inside you pounced on me."

"Still didn't hear you complain." Ginger said with a grin setting down her lipstick. She then stood up wearing her white robe. She sauntered over to him placing her hands on his bare moist shoulders. He noticed that all too familiar look in her green eyes.

"Ginger." He said gently pushing her away. "We have to get ready for the premiere. I suggest you get your dress on and…" He was cut off by Ginger pressing her lips against his. He felt his towel being loosened and pulled away and he stopped his wife's actions.

"Control yourself." He said somewhat sternly.

"No." She replied with a mischievous look.

"Try." He replied gently moving her aside.

Ginger smiled and went to her closet to pick out her gown. She decided on beautiful sparkling orange number. It was lowcut in the front and back. Accented her curves as she knew her husband would appreciate. Her eyes looked over watching her husband dressing. He sensed this and quickly disappeared into his en suite shutting the door. The redhead laughed a bit as she heard the click of the lock.

She stepped into her gown and pulled it up. Smoothing it out she stood in front of the mirror pleased. Ginger decided to wear her hair down instead of up as she thoroughly enjoyed her husband running his fingers through her silky locks. In her closet, she pulled out her orange pumps and stepped into them. Perfect.

The door to the Professor's en suite opened and he stepped out wearing his black jacket and crisp white shirt. Ginger eyed him approvingly. "Darling you look so handsome." She said walking up to him and placing her arms around him. "You are going to turn all the girls' head. But they can't have you. You are mine."

His own blue eyes looked over his voluptuous wife and was pleased. "No one will be able to take their eyes off you my love." He said wrapping his arms around her. "You look simply stunning. But no matter what you will not be dancing with the likes of Cary Grant or Gregory Peck. Either one of them attempts to kiss you in anyway…"

Ginger giggled. "Roy you are so wonderful." She kissed him yet again before the pair made their way out of the bedroom and down the stairs. There was a limo waiting outside. Eddie was accompanying them. He did a check and all was clear. There was no telling what that Eva was up to and he refused to take any chances. Ginger provided him with a list of all those who would be attending the premiere and the party. Most of them were very trustworthy. Others he would keep a very close eye on.
Security was always going to be extra tight at the party. This suited the Professor just fine. Whatever it took to keep Ginger safe.

The couple hopped into their limo and Eddie gave the go head to the driver.
Ginger smiled at her husband. "This is so exciting. Everyone is finally going to see my movie! I can't wait. Darling I hope you will like it."

"Ginger of course I will. You are quite a storyteller and I know your movie will be a big success. Much like your movie Jane. You were simply remarkable. Of course I do think that your co-star needed to watch himself…"

The starlet laughed. "You jealous?"

"Not a chance." He lied.

"You were too." Ginger teased moving closer. "Admit it."

"I am not admitting…Okay maybe just a tad…."

"A tad?"

"Alright I wanted to knock all his teeth out. His hands didn't need to be…"

Ginger cut him off with a kiss. "I love you. And you know that Collin is married."

"I guess it's going to take a bit to get used to you…with other men…I promise I will not hit any of your colleagues. Unless of course they deserve it."

"You are so romantic." Ginger rested her head against him.

The limo pulled up to the theater and it came to a stop. The press was there snapping their photos however even they were kept back a bit more than normal.

Eddie stepped out first and looked around. Not seeing a danger he signaled for Ginger and the Professor to exit the car. The two climbed out and the Professor immediately put his arm around his wife protectively. Ginger waved to the fans and smiled at the photographers before they hurried inside.

The Professor was relieved. So far so good. He escorted her inside and to their seats.

Ginger smiled seeing that Mary Ann and Gilligan just arrived. She waved to them and they walked over taking their seats behind the married couple. A few minutes later the Howells arrived followed by the Skipper and Jessica who asked him to accompany her again.

The cast showed up and Ginger smiled at them. She got up and congratulated them all telling them how proud she was. They all told her they were happy to be a part of her project. Amber said she would love to work with her again as did Madeline. Ginger told them both it was a possibility.

The lights flickers indicating the movie was about to start and everyone took their seats. The room was then dark and then the screen came to life. The words The Storm appeared on the screen. Ginger squeezed her husband's hand seeing her own name as the writer and the producer.

The story began to unfold and the ex-castaways were mesmerized. Mary Ann smiled at the scene in which Sandy and Billy were looking for syrup and Sandy said to Billy that the sap was sweet just like him. Mrs. Howell was delighted at the wardrobe that was chosen for her character and smiled at the matchmaking scene.

Gilligan laughed at the part in which Billy put the flare on the cake shooting it up in the air. And also loved the part about Billy fighting off the headhunter. It was quite amazing.

The Skipper was pleased with the scenes with the sea captain and his buddy Billy. It was just like him and Gilligan. Billy giving that captain a headache, dropping coconuts on his foot. He did get a big laugh out of Billy yanking the captain hat and whacking him with it. Jonas was fairly certain Gilligan had wished to do that from time to time.

Mr. Howell felt pride watching his character taking charge and being conniving. It was just like him. A perfect portrayal of Thurston Howell III. He loved the bit about tricking Billy out of the $3 million. Just wonderful.

Yes all the castaways thought Ginger did a fabulous job capturing their personalities.
Roy in particular was well pleased with the scenes between Alex and Victoria. The neck nuzzling for one thing. And the scene prior in which Alex's hands are shaky. He had to laugh to himself wondering why he was so darn nervous around Ginger.

The movie came to an end and everyone applauded. Ginger looked around with a big smile on her face. Everyone congratulated her saying how wonderful it was.
Everyone accept for a lone face in the back. The entire movie the person sulked and fumed. Her date for the evening didn't notice or didn't care. He thought it was pretty darn cool.

Helena got up from her seat and said to her date "Let's go" as she took his hand leading him out.

He told her to wait a second as he needed to make a phone call. Stated he was checking on an audition that he had earlier that week. Would only take a second. Helena nodded telling him to hurry.

The young actor stepped away from her and over to the other side of the theater where the phone booths were. He went inside and shut the door. Putting a quarter in he dialed the number. "Yeah it's me. So far so good. No Eva does not suspect a thing. Of course she was not happy the movie was so great….No so far she has not made any remarks about doing anything to Ginger although earlier she made it clear how untalented she believed her to be and how it may have been better if she had died from that bullet. Yeah tell me about it. I will. Okay thank you."

The police officer hung up the phone and made his way back to his date. He smiled as he went up to her. "Looks like I may have gotten the part." He said.

"That's wonderful Craig." Helena said. "I'm happy for you."

Craig lead her out to the waiting car and held the door open for Eva. She stepped in and he shut the door. This plan was risky but it was the best option for them. Eva was dumb but not that dumb. They had to do this just right. So he was tasked with pretending to be a fellow actor looking to make it in the business. So far Eva had believed him. He was pretty darn convincing. Especially since he went along with her rants about how she was more talented than Ginger and she should be the big star.

The department had her under surveillance for weeks. They were tipped off from Helena's landlord. He remembered seeing her come back to her apartment one night and looked very suspicious. Of course he had been leery of her from the start. There was something about her that was off. Especially one time he had a magazine out with Ginger's picture and she sneered at it mumbling something about how she was so overrated. She was pretty angry and saying something along the lines of how she should be run out of town. What a stupid dumb slut she most likely was.

He recalled her talking to an older woman in the building about how she was going to be this big star and Ginger Grant would be forgotten. The police talked to this neighbor who recalled the discussion and said that Helena was very rude and she did not like it.

Mr. Felix, Helena's boss, also found Helena a bit odd. Well more than odd. She was hostile to the actresses who came to the agency and on more than one occasion told flat them they were wasting their time. She would state that she was going to be the big name. The girls of course were none to pleased to be treated this way and said as much to Mr. Felix. He apologized and reprimanded his secretary for her behavior telling her to be more professional.

The biggest break of all came from a nurse at a plastic surgeon's office. While she was aware of confidentially she could not be silent. She had to tell the police that she recognized Helena. One of the newspapers had a picture of the shooting and there was a picture that was blurry but Maria could tell that it was the very patient they had in their office. She was certain of it. Informed them about how this woman came to them wanting drastic surgery. Well it seemed pretty drastic. Her eyes, noses, cheek bones, chin…she wanted it all done. The doctor had tried to talk her out of getting all that as he felt she did not need it but she pressed him to do what she asked. She even wanted her breast altered.
It was a big shocking as they were not small and pretty proportionate to her frame.

Dr. Garrison tried to get her to back down on all this but the patient was very clear this is the work she wanted done. The police spoke with Dr. Garrison who was very willing to help the police the best he could. He too was aware of the laws about confidentially but a crime had been committed and he wished to do what he could to aid the police.

The statements from both were very helpful. As was the musical farce.
Helena did not know it was a set up. A prominent director agreed to help the department by faking a musical production. The talent agency hired some actors to pretend to be auditioning and there were some undercover officers sprinkled in.
Helena suspected nothing. So far the plan was working like a charm.

Party

Everyone mulled around the redheaded starlet gushing about her movie.
Mrs. Howell said she was delighted and of course the actress playing her would most certainly win an Academy Award. Mr. Howell said the actor playing him was a shoo in for the prominent award! Ginger was amused and said she was proud of both actors and she was glad they enjoyed the film.

Gilligan told Ginger it was a great film and he was going to see it again and tell all his friends to see it and his family and his friend's family. Ginger told him she appreciated all his support. And hoped they would enjoy the film as well.

Mary Ann went on about how romantic it was. She loved Victoria and Alex as much as she loved both Ginger and the Professor. So wonderful She remarked to the Professor that Alex was just as stubborn as he was. How stupid for him to try and deny his love for Victoria. He was fooling no one.

During all this, Helena stood there with a sneer on her face. She hated all this attention Ginger was getting It was a stupid film. Big deal. Like no one ever made a movie before!

Did they really have to act like this was some great feat that the stupid redhead accomplished. Seriously? What was making her the most annoyed was the way the Professor could not stop showering affection upon his wife. The kisses and the hugs and nuzzling her and whispering who knows what. That should be her. Not that tramp.

Deciding to put it out of her mind, she went up to the big name directors to schmooze. Maybe one of them would want her for their next film.

"Hello." Helena greeted Ian Woodside, a big name director in the industry, "I'm Helena Burns."

"Nice to meet you." He replied. "Did you enjoy the movie?"

The brunette smiled. "It was nice but not really my cup of tea."

"Oh?" Ian said intrigued. "Why is that?"

"Well I mean it was a nice story and I guess I like stories where there is more friction between the male and female leads. You think one or the other is annoying but yet you want them to get together. Kind of like Pillow Talk."

"I see." The director said. "Well I think this movie had that element."

"It did." Helena said pretending to concede his point. "But it wasn't quite the same. I would have played the part of Victoria differently."

"You as Victoria?" Ian said raising his eyebrow. "I don't think I could see you in such a role."

"What do you mean? I could do it. I most certainly could pull off a part like that."

"You really believe that?"

Helena smiled. "I do. You know if you give me a chance, I bet I could make your next movie a big hit."

"I don't think so." He said having heard this a million times from wannabee stars. "I prefer to work with actors who want to take their time to hone their craft. Are willing to learn and grow before tackling a big role."

"Oh I am willing." Helena insisted. "I just need someone to give me a chance. Please won't you consider it?"

"Not at this time." Ian said finishing his champagne. "Get some more experience and more notoriety and maybe we will talk."

With that he walked away to go greet some of the other attendees of the party.
Helena could not believe it. Why was this happening! Why wouldn't anyone give her a damn break! She was fuming. Her blood was boiling. Her head turned seeing Ginger lavishing in the attention from all. It made her hatred grow for her even more. This was the last straw. She was so sick of this. This was going to end and end now.

Helena marched up to Ginger striking her hard across the face. Ginger was taken aback before the brunette grabbed her holding a gun on her that she pulled from her purse.

"I'm so sick of this." The wannabee said. "I'm so sick of having to live in your freaken shadow! I'm sick of you getting all the glory! Enough!"

The others were shocked and the Professor was horrified that his beloved wife was in danger again. He cautiously approached the two women. "Let her go Eva." He said. "Let her go. She did not do anything to you. Let her go!"

Eva scuffed. "You think I'm going to shoot her?" She said with a laugh. "No death would be too good for this bitch. No….I think I'll set my sights elsewhere." With that she pressed the gun against Ginger's abdomen.

The movie star shrieked not knowing what to do. "Roy…Roy…please do something!'

The Professor tried to calm her. "It's okay Ginger. I swear I won't let her hurt you or our baby." He advanced slowly towards Eva "You do not want to do this."

"Oh shut up!' Eva yelled. "She deserves it! She deserves to lose it all! Including you!"
She took aim at the Professor but her shot was missed as Detective Davis quickly grabbed her wrist and causing the gun to shot up towards the ceiling.

Ginger thought quickly hit Eva with her elbow as hard as she could tossing the woman to the floor. The starlet quickly flung herself in the Professor's arms.

The detective radioed for back up and cuffed Eva. She yelled at Ginger as she was led away but the actress paid no attention. She stayed firmly in Roy's arms hoping this nightmare was finally over once and for all.
