Quinn had to step out of the room the next morning so the doctors could check on her mom and her sister. Quinn decided to call Puck since she hadn't told him about it. The phone started ringing and then she heard his voice.

"Hey babe."

Once he started talking she started crying.

"Hey." she replied sadly and started sniffling.

"What's wrong?" Puck asked concerned as he stood up from where he was sitting.

"Can you come to the hospital?" she asked him.

"Yeah, I'm leaving right now. I'll be there as soon as I can."

"Okay, I love you Puck."

"I love you too Q."

Puck quickly ran out to his truck and was on his way to the hospital. What in the heck is going on? He thought to himself. He finally pulled into the hospital parking lot and ran in the building. He saw Quinn in the middle of the hall once he got up to the third floor. He stood there and looked at her and then she turned to her right and saw him. Then, she started running towards him and he was running to her. They met in the middle and then she buried her head in his chest. Puck still had no idea what was going on so he just held her and put on and on her back and the other on the back of her head. He kissed the top of her head. He tried to calm her down by rubbing her hair and her back. Quinn looked up at him. One tear was slowly making it's way down her face. Puck took his thumb and wiped it away.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Puck asked her.

"Someone broke into my house and took my mom and Frannie's purses, and then... he shot them." Quinn said and started to cry hard again once she got to the end of her sentence.

Puck was shocked. He grabbed her and then held her the same way as before.

"Shhhh," he said trying to calm her down alittle, "everything is going to be alright."

"I hope so." Quinn said as she looked back up at him.

He kissed her and then he grabbed her hand.

"Come on. It looks like the doctor is finished." Puck told her as the doctor walked out of the room as they started walking toward her.

"Good morning Quinn."

"Good morning Dr. Burke. Any news?" Quinn asked hopeful there was good news.

"They are doing better today, so that's good. We don't see any other problems, but we did locate the bullets and they will have to be removed through surgery. Their surgeries will probably be at about 11:00. As long as the bullets don't move to any locations where injuries could be severe, I think they should be alright." Dr. Burke told Quinn and grinned at her at the end.

"Thank you Dr. Burke." Quinn replied with the same small grin.

They both hugged because the truth was Quinn trusted Dr. Burke alot and she liked her alot. She was a really nice person. She had talked to her alot and she was really helping Quinn through this. She talked to Quinn all last night and stayed with her for as long as she could until she had to go home to her own family.

"You're welcome honey." Dr. Burke responded and then walked away from Quinn and Puck.

Puck stood there and just watched them both.

"You two seem close." He told her.

"She really helped me last night when I was here. She's really nice." Quinn replied.

"She seems pretty nice." Puck agreed and then the both walked into the room.

Puck sat down on the couch beside the window in the room and Quinn sat down beside him.

"Puck I don't know what I'm going to do."

"What do you mean?"

"What if something happens in surgery and either Frannie or my mom dies. What if I'm with Frannie and something happens to mom. I can't be with both of them at once. "

"How about I go to the other one and I'll tell you what's happening. We can be on the phone together since they let family in those rooms where you can look at them operating through the glass." Puck told her.

"You have to be a family member." Quinn replied.

"I'll tell them I'm her son or if I have to watch Frannie I'll tell them I'm her brother."

"You can't just lie to hospital staff."

"Trust me babe, I'll figure something out. Either way you're going to know exactly what's happening in both rooms at the same time. I promise you that." Puck said as he put his arm around her and she put her head on his shoulder.

"Thank you. Thank you for being here with me and for everything."

"I don't want to be anywhere else." Puck told her as she looked up at him and he kissed her.

Quinn was so tired she has been up all night long watching Frannie and Judy. When she was sitting there with Puck she would close her eyes, but then wake up suddenly. She didn't want to fall asleep. She looked at the clock and it was 6:30. Puck was rubbing her head and was running his fingers through her hair which made her want to go to sleep.

"Babe you need to rest. I'll watch them, take a nap and I'll wake you up if anything happens. I'll wake you up at 8:30 if nothing happens while your asleep so you can be wide awake for the surgery, okay?"

"Okay." Quinn said. She didn't want to, but she knew Puck was going to insist on it, so she slid down and put her head in his lap and then he put his hand around her waist and the other hand was still running through her hair. He just sat there and watched her mom and Frannie while Quinn was asleep.
