Leah's point of view: Chapter 26

"Leah you need to wake up now." I heard a deep voice whisper in my ear. I pushed Paul's face away from me with my palm.

"Leah seriously get up." Paul chuckled. I pushed him away groggily again.

"No." I yawned stubbornly. He ripped the blankets away from me.

"Yes. It's one two o' clock. You have been sleeping all day." Paul said. I moaned but sat up.

"How did I sleep that long?" I yawned again.

"I sort of wore you out last night. I would say I'm sorry but that would be a lie." Paul smirked. I just rolled my eyes.

"You should take a shower. You have a hot date tonight." Paul teased.

"Cocky much?" I remarked sharply.

"Well the beautiful Leah Clearwater is in my bed right now, so I sort of have a reason." He grinned making me blush. What was this boy doing to me? He leaned forward to peck my lips.

"Please get ready Lee." He chuckled before smacking my butt hard. I chucked a pillow at him as he left the room. I took a shower as fast as I could. Paul came in the room and changed his clothes.

"Hey I thought we agreed on seven not almost three for the date?" I said raising an eyebrow.

"It was but I changed my mind. We aren't going to leave until five but I figured you are sort of girl and girls take forever to get ready." He teased.

"Sort of a girl huh? Well guess who sort of isn't getting laid tonight." I smirked placing a hand on my hip. His face turned serious.

"Come on Lee, it was a joke. I am sorry. Please just don't cut me off from you. Oh goddess I will die!" Paul said dramatically falling to his knees.

"It depends how fun this date is." I sassed.

"Oh it's going to be fun. It will be the most cheesy, stupid, romantic date you have ever had in your life. You won't forget tonight." Paul smiled brightly standing back up.

"Okay then what should I wear on this cheesy, stupid, romantic date tonight?" I inquired.

"Hmmm something casual." Paul shrugged.

"That did not help Lahote." I pouted. I finally decided black tights with a tan oversized sweater and high boots. Paul wore darks jeans and a deep blue button up shirt. We relaxed in bed for several hours before Paul hopped up and left the room. I counted to ten before there was a knock on my bedroom door. Paul stood there holding out a rose. My eyes widened. Even though it was cheesy, and we both knew it was, it was a sweet gesture.

"Wow thank you." I breathed. He kissed my lips again and set down the rose. We then left the house. We went to the small movie theatre to watch some movie but I couldn't tell you what it was. My lips never left Paul's since the moment we sat down. All of a sudden the lights turned back on as the credits ended. We broke apart blushing and out of breath.

"We just made out for two hours." Paul chuckled. I just nodded trying to catch my breath.

"What's next?" I asked. He just gave me a crooked smile and led me out of the theatre. Where we ended next surprised me.

"A bowling alley?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yep nothing is more cheesy and stupid then a bowling alley. Plus it's supposed to be sort of romantic. Me, being the big, strong boyfriend, carries your bowling ball and shows you how to bowl. And you, the sexy girlfriend, thank me later in bed." Paul grinned.

"I don't remember the last part being a part of the bowling experience." I remarked.

"I improvised babe. It's the improvement factor." He smirked.

"Fine but if I win I get any favor I want. And I can call for it whenever I want without any complaints from you." I challenged.

"Fine if I win I get you, Leah Clearwater, tied to my bed without complaints." He growled.

"Deal." I snapped back. We started playing and I have to admit he was good, but so was I. We were having so much fun. We slid all over the place and he would spin me around everywhere. The few people in the alley looked at us like we were crazy.

In the end I won by one point. It was that close. I gave him a cocky grin and he just looked down in shame. But I saw him smile. He then took me to restaurant. We sat on the same side of a booth holding hands as we ate. There was a little old couple looking at us. When I looked back over the couple was standing in front of us.

"Hello sir." Paul smiled politely.

"Hello. Sorry if we disturbed you. We just wanted to say you two are a great couple." The older man replied. Paul looked at me and smiled.

"Not as great as a couple as you. Would you like to sit down?" Paul smiled.

"We wouldn't want to intrude." The old lady replied.

"I assure you it is no bother. My heart might not go on if I can never see you again darling." Paul flirted in a fun manner towards the old lady. The old couple laughed and sat down. Paul as usual was his charming self.

"You know sweetheart, I think we might have to ditch these two and make a new life together on a tropical island." Paul teased. I hit his hand lightly to still look like a lady.

"Well we should get going. You young man are extremely blessed to have this young lady. All you need to know is protect, love, and treasure her. Also a little spoiling doesn't hurt." The old man chuckled.

Paul helped them up and he whispered something into the man's ear. The man eyes sparkled as he glanced back at me. I was beyond confused.

"I wish you both nothing but happiness." The man smiled nodding to us before leaving holding his wife's hand.

Paul sat back down his face practically glowing. He starred at me in a way he has never looked at me before. My heart sped up as I had a feeling this date; this cheesy, stupid, romantic date wasn't over. The best was yet to come.
