Merle looked at his brother's both standing there and felt his eyes keep going back to the marks marring Daryl's chest and the marks in Mac's eyes that mirrored those same pains. He wasn't sure how the fuck his brother's ended up here but a weight lifted from his shoulders seeing the pair of them right there.

"You gonna let us down or stand there and jerk your dick?" Mac snarled his voice rough.

Daryl's eyes swiveled over before going back to Merle. Walking forward he motioned them, "Stand fucking straight otherwise you'll break the other's wrist when I release this."

Mac and Daryl both groaned forcing their bodies up and into a forced arch to allow the release. The second it was gone from their wrist both of them buckled hitting the ground and Merle raised a brow. How long had Phillip had his brother's here? He knew that the man knew they damn near looked like twins didn't the think this would have been a good time to come tell him he had his fucking brothers or a possibility before doing this shit.

The door opened suddenly and Phillip walked in his eyes going wide seeing both of the brother's free. Daryl and Mac both snarled but Martinez stepped around the man aiming a gun at them. "Boys calm down."

Merle turned and shoved the gun high knocking Martinez back, "Pull a goddamn gun on my brothers!"

Phillip's eyes went to him looking remorseful but he seen the look so many times he knew it was fake. This man couldn't express emotions. "Merle they attacked us we were only responding."

"BULLSHIT!" Daryl barked.

"SHUT UP!" Phillip screamed.

Merle seen Daryl moved to Mac and jerk his shirt up off the ground. From here his back was exposed to him and Merle felt sick. Years and years he had known something had happened but never what. Daryl had carried such a weight on him that it was only relieved he'd noticed when Mac had somehow managed to step in under it and bear part of it for him. His brother was lighter than, both of them.

Daryl was pushing the shirt against Mac's chest while Mac's eyes were wild and Phillip. It wasn't just a hate that was there but a dangerous searing fire that was going to break free and take everything with it. Daryl jerked Mac's chin around and forced him to meet his eyes.

Daryl leaned down, "Get it the fuck together." His voice was low as Phillip talked to a few men but Merle ignored him in favor of listening to the private conversation between the two on the ground. "You know how long we've been here goddamn it she's out there and he's looking for our group."

Merle raised a brow and looked over at Phillip his eyes were intense and on the pair. "Merle they came in like terrorist! You know we can't abide by that...I'm sorry but they are going to the arena or pits."

Merle rounded on him, "You expect me to let you kill my fuckin' brothers?"

Merle rounded on Martinez and slammed the rifle he had into his mouth sending the man to the ground. Phillip balked at the action and turned to leave suddenly while the room erupted into chaos. Merle seen his brother's rise to their feet and move through the door before he could grab them and get them the fuck out of here. He had to get them somewhere and get them cleaned up. Apparently they had a goddamned group now so maybe they'd help. Who the fuck was she anyways? He knew his brother's didn't need anyone to survive so why the fuck were they with a group now? Both had tried to leave the one they'd been in before neither wanting to really join it.

"I'M NOT LEAVING UNTIL THAT MOTHERFUCKER IS DEAD!" Mac snarled lashing out at Daryl.

Daryl growled when Mac shoved him and caused him to stumble backwards and hit the bricks of the building. He felt it scrape his bear back and winced glaring at his brother.

"You think I don't want to kill him!" Daryl hissed through clenched teeth, "You remember that goddamn night? You remember her having fuckin' nightmares after telling us that shit from her childhood!" Daryl was moving in on him. "YOU THINK I WANT THAT MOTHERFUCKER TO BREATHE THE SAME AIR AS HER AFTER THE SHIT HE PUT HER THROUGH AS A GODDAMN KID!"

Mac's chest was heaving and Daryl knew it was coming. Daryl shoved him hard backwards and held him against the brick, "We gotta get Merle and get the fuck out of here! We need to get the fuck back to her before he does find her."

"Look no further baby brother." Merle chuckled.

Both sets of eyes swung on to him and Mac shoved Daryl hard but he didn't move.

"If you two would like a minute to change your panties then by all means but since we're leaving we need to go now. MOVE" Merle barked.

Daryl jerked Mac off the wall and winced when he seen Mac's fingers tracing the blood mess around his wrist. He was muttering to himself. All Daryl could think about was how Walter had kept him bound and tied before Mac had gotten out of their and killed him. Mac hated the feeling of being restrained and it had been even worse cause more than that he'd learned he hated seeing Daryl himself in danger. Daryl as right there with him as that bastard had Martinez working trying to get answers. Nothing had worked and despite the cuts, bruises, and burns he was good. He just needed to get Mac to see that.

Merle watched the pair of them and growled seeing the damage done. He was going to kill ever fucker in this town. Blood was blood and you didn't fuck with that. You didn't spill his families blood and expect to not get your balls cut off and fed to you.

Merle motioned Daryl over and he slapped Mac hard across the face startling him awake and pulled him into his side. Merle's eyes studied Mac and he let out a breath. He'd never seen his brother like this before. He'd never seen Mac so dependent on someone else to get around to even take a care of him. Never seen him get bested.

Merle jogged ahead and jerked the truck door open and smiled seeing the keys there. Daryl got Mac in the back seat and he collapsed over it breathing ragged. Daryl climbed in the front seat and Merle got in slamming the doors. He started it up and smiled seeing the small gates that were hidden away. Fuck Phillip Blake. Gunning it he burst through them and whooped loudly laughing and looked over at Daryl.

If it wasn't for the blood on his brother's and the wild look to their eyes that he'd never seen then he'd almost say it was like old times. Merle and Mac dragging Daryl into shit with them both of them though fighting. Fuckin' Mac usually fighting with him and it generally started over Daryl, both trying to keep him from getting hurt.

"Where to baby brother?"

Daryl looked over and winced at the motion, "How far is the prison?"

Merle smiled, "You all cleared that shit?'

Daryl nodded jerkily and Merle made the course correction to get them there. Merle looked in the rear view at Mac who was out cold and to Daryl who looked like a wave of fire was over taking him. He was breathing hard and angry sounding like a bull next to him. It was odd to hear any noise from Daryl at all really, even something as simple as breathing. He was always so quiet that hearing him now Merle knew he was missing something.

"Cut your lights on." Daryl warned.

Merle glared at him but done as he said. It wasn't long till they heard another vehicle and Merle raised a brow, "You got patrols?"

Daryl shook his head and Mac groaned but didn't stir. "No nothing like that."

A vehicle came into view and Daryl reached over flipping the lights at it. Merle slapped his hand away, "What the fuck are you doing dumbass! That could be Woodbury."

Daryl glared at him but the vehicle stopped and Merle did too seeing that Daryl was opening his door regardless. Watching as a man climbed down and walked in front of the light motioning to them. Daryl didn't back away from him and Merle watched the man clapped Daryl on the back. Mac groaned again and pushed himself up looking around.

"Where are we?"

"IN a truck." Merle quipped.

"Man I've missed that." Mac snarled.

Merle chuckled and looked back at him, "You look like shit brother."

His eyes swept over him and he shook his head. Mac was glaring at him and flipping him off, "Suck my dick Merle I still look better than your ass."

"Is that so you smart mouthed little prick." Merle sneered.

Mac smiled his eyes closed and Merle let his eyes go back to Daryl. He was walking back to the truck forcing himself to stand straight. He climbed in and looked at Merle, "Follow them."

Was her wasn't it." Mac questioned his voice half asleep. "She's gonna shit how'd you keep her from getting over here with you looking like that."

Daryl cringed and Merle raised a brow at him. "She couldn't see with the way the trucks lights were hitting her and Rick wouldn't let her out of the truck the minute he seen me."

"Who the fuck are y'all talking about?" Merle growled.

"Kira." Both in unison.
